The sky looks great
When the sun is up
And the clouds are late
Spilling bright threads
Doing crochet patterns along the vast blue
Slowly, curling back into a ball of white
Swathing the sun
In rose gold silks

Blue linen
Unclouded, the canvas light
Air brushed with strings of white

Beneath the curtains
Rested the stars
Twinkling all night

The morning star arrives
Magic it has in mind
Golden drapes gently unfold

A sloth and a cheetah
both in my mind
Assuming roles as per the need of the time
Happy in their spaces defined .

Enter the monkey
always up to its antics
Wanting to colonize the mind
Seeking all the spaces defined

Surrounded by love
On the bed of green
Scarlets and white
Different, yet alike
Tulips and sunshine
Peacefully arise
Nature is serene, alive

Wayward clouds mischievous trees
Vernal grass beckons

There is a reason

Tender green leaves, on brown twigs

Pretty fingers of a danseuse, striking a pose

A moment captured on lens

It strayed from the herd

Into the concrete jungle

Met living beings, the strangest kind

Why did it leave its mother’s side

Just to know, where the river stream ends

It ran and ran and followed the stream

Strayed away far, far, faraway from home

Scared, it panicked and strayed in the alleys

Didn’t know where and what place it was in

Tired and hungry and scared it went berserk

Trying to find its home in every green place

Couldn’t find mama and papa nor her

brother anywhere

Instead it met living beings of strangest kind

It cried as it realised the concrete jungle

Wasn’t as green as its home

The  jungle

which has the most sparkling stream

Lost its way and now disturbed

Ran in every direction, couldn’t find home

Tired and hungry and scared

It didn’t know, where it was

The strange living beings equally scared of

it, got it tranquillised

Shocked and tired

Finally, it went into a tranquil sleep

Far far faraway from  home

Never ever to see her family, in this life

The she bison, all of four

Now, forever sleeps

In the concrete jungle

The Iguazu falls
Swifts slow dance through the waterfalls
Sun their wings on cliffs

The tree of hearts
Branching out love
A colour red ,deep
One mine and one yours to keep

Together all hearts
A Beautiful piece of art
In the faith of love
We all live and reap

The tree of love
Nourished and replenished
Stands tall, evergreen
Rooted deep

Red rose in ribbons
Fragrance of evanescence
Life a lit candle

Loud Music
Music that soothes
Music that rejuvenates
Music that speaks to the souls

Loud music
Forget the lyrics
Its just the beats
On a repeat  
For the amoeba thoughts
Swirling twirling Swimming in uncharted waters
Moulding them into set shapes
Queuing them up in rows
Taming down their pseudo waves

Music that has a feel
The  pebbles cascading
down the stream ,
A tremulous tippy tappy sweet sound
To the heart it appeals, heals

Music that is light and tender
Dim the lights
Close the  eyes
Let the music do the wonders

Music for the senses
That soothes rejuvenates
And speaks to the souls
In tongues ancient
Known ,yet unknown

In the ancient Shiv temple
Peace
Circumambulates the inner dome
And the sanctum

The devotees sway in trance
To the incantations of Om
Chanting sacred hymns
To the rhythmic sound of cymbals

The mystical incense
Musky its Fragrance
Wafts up in the temple premise
Divine and pious

The temple doors wide open
Peace spreads to the sanctuary
Peace is now at peace

Poetry is all about Rhythm and Rhyme

Aimed
Expressions through words ,
Well Framed


The Sun is a Star

With a Reflective Light

None Immune .

Life is Full Of
Ups and Downs
With
New Lessons  to be Learned
In the End  :)

Invisible words
Smeared on the walls
Visibly the ink disappeared
Written space haunts

The Heart speaks a language
clear
The Mind limits it with a veil
sheer

A luminaire
The Mind enigmatic
Vision threadbare

Unfathomable
The depth
Of

The Mind feels shallow within

Resplendent tall tree
Beauteous ripe orange leaves
Bare brown twigs and bark

Mirrors and lakes
Rusty or fine, edgy or divine
Overcast sky, they defy

We don't speak often
We don't meet often
That doesn't mean that the care for one another is lost.
Testing times are the ones when
Brotherhood, neighbourhood
And most importantly Friendships
comes to the fore !!

Boughs and twigs

Part of a canopy
Of the tree lined road

The evening

Even laid its life in the end
In death it became the throne to the ones

Bitter it tastes
keeps

In Check

All The Confectionery and Sweets
Tasty &
Tempting to Eat
Stimuli To
Blood Sugar Levels
Imbalance

Sometimes
I just don't understand
Whether is there any meaning in my living ...

Or
Am I just passing my days in this place ,
only as a tourist ...

And if so,
Is the  journey ever going to take me to an interesting destination ....

Then,
As the  journey proceeds
and takes  me to so  many interesting locations
It has dawned upon me

That,
The journey in itself  is so full of thrill and experience ...

Now,
Reaching the destination has just become a passing thought !!

A flight of freedom
Wings spread wide
The eagle soars
Its shadow on the promenade
Clear and bright
In the offing
The skyline soars

The clouds of imagination sailed past
The images and imagery created didn’t last
The rains took their breath away in a splash
All that remained was clay and some wet hay
Incomplete, yet replete

Fish  of many colour
Bubbly and sprightly
Princes and princesses of the river
Move in geometric patterns
Up and down the stream
Schooled by the elders
Not to venture out in the dark
And end up as a dinner of the shark

Sneaky the little ones
Break the rules of the school

Fish O Fish
They
Watch the shark pass by
Duck under the big rock
And giggle under their breath
Making puddles of bubbles

Caught in the dark
By the elders of the clan
Reprimanded for their conduct
And brought back to school

A school of fish
No more unruly
Swim in geometric pattern serene
Up and down the stream

The lake shimmers in golden velveteen

A gift from the sun, at sundown

The palm trees lined up in rows

The birds flew into the branches

For the gala evening show
