Crystals shine in starlight
Sky of the new moon,
It was almost midnight
I was wrapped in my blanket like a caterpillar in a cocoon.

Suddenly, something bright Flashed upon my weary eyes.
I woke up in total fright,
Praying that they were just fireflies.

But, it seemed to be
Something rare and mysterious.
I'm telling you the truth and on hearing it,
You might find me delirious.

There was a being, roaming around.
A being, who had never been found,
A being, which was light, translucent and round,
But who ensured that it didn't make a sound.

The colour of my sacred crystals
Reflected on its face,
And I quietly steadily pace.

I tried to hide
All of my fear,
As it began to walk
Towards me, near and near.

But it didn't seem to cause
Any sort of harm,
And as the night passed,
I started to fall for its charm.

Slowly, I began to notice
That the world around turning blurry
And felt some sort of a bliss,
For that moment, I had even forgot to worry.

Then I woke up in the morning,
With the ringing of the alarm,
But then I realised
That my soul felt totally calm.
Got inspired from a short story written by Guy de Maupassant and a video on an alien encounter on YouTube. And I still wonder... Are they real?

In my dreams you always live
All my happiness to you I give.

We will live in abundance together;
Irrespective of what is the weather.

Oh , how can I tell you this mother?
Till I become a capable daughter

But I hope there will be one day
When you will be too proud of me to have anything to say! :-)
Dedicated to my hardworking single mother who is ready to handle this huge bundle of craziness (i.e. me)

Why did you leave me in this forest of obscurity
Where there's a river of misunderstanding instead of clear reason
Showing me what's pure treason
Where there's always the cold winter season
'To not love you again' is my new learnt lesson.
To you, this is my last confession
And I hope from now on I'll never return again in this pitiful condition.
Heartbreak, the worst injury one can have.

Nose too blocked to sense what's happening
Eyes too blinded to distinguish between lies and truth
Ears too deaf to hear anyone's advice
Mouth too soar to speak out the problem
Skin too numb to understand the pain
I only knew that in my own tears I was drowning.
When sorrow has no limits.

Her crystal clear and blue eyes had now turned grey on oil being splashed on them.
Her beautiful golden brown complexion, which had a natural Green Blush was now full of scars and wounds caused by the horrible effluents and industries, and was infested with these Tiny Terrible Parasites who ****** out Her richness like a blood-thirsty leech.
Her ears had turned deaf dealing with all this chaos happening around her.
She even had hair loss as Her beautiful Ozone hair deteriorated with the forced hair colour of Greenhouse Gases.
And Her mouth? Well she had hardly been given any time to speak.
This poem talks about the current state of Mother Earth in a symbolic way.

I have a mind as light as Helium,
But that can connect to itself like Carbon.
It's radiating ideas like Thorium
But loves to be alone like Argon.
My heart tries to be as noble as Platinum,
Trying to be as important to someone as Calcium;
But ends up breaking down like Uranium
And highly reactive like Potassium.
I think I have a mind quite clean,
Not obnoxious like the gas of Chlorine.
Combining my love for Chemistry and poetry at once.

You came in my life
like an oasis in a lonely desert,
Simple but charming you seemed
in that white T-shirt.

With a plain expression
I asked your name,
"Friendship, they call me,"
you replied to the same.

And well, we spent
most of our time together.
Chatting, laughing, playing,
irrespective of weather.

But then, I met a haughty
and loud girl named Pride.
On being with her,
my feelings for you died.

And now that you have
left me all alone,
All I do is gasp,
grumble and groan.
The poem is about how pride and true friendship never go together.

As I walked on the street alone, I saw a lady who seemed to be quite sad and lost.

I asked what was the problem.
She told me that her name was Peace and that she was homeless as man's heart had frost.

She told me about her children dying and the ones who seemed quite sick. She told me about how much the wars and their results had really cost.

And explained to me the many vain efforts to prevent her children to fall ill to this Sickness had crost.
War is something man must stop. The feelings of hatred and violence are spreading day by day like a disease. So as the children of Peace, we must make our effort to prevent ourselves from falling 'sick' from this 'disease' irrespective of which corner of the Earth we stay.

I was told to write a poem during my French class. The product:

Je ne sais pas cette langue
Je ne sais pas comment écrire des mots et des phrases longues
Je ne sais pas comment faire des poésies françaises
Désolé, je voudrais partir pour aller chez.

Translation:
I don't know this language
I don't know how to write words and long sentences
I don't know how to make French poems
Sorry, I would like to leave so I can go home.
This was my first French poem. Please tell me if I've done any mistakes if you know French.

Feel so excited by inside
Look so calm on outside
What's happening to me

Your entrance in the room
Drives away all my gloom
What a pleasant view to see

Oh please lock me in your love's cage
Cast your magic that will last irrespective of age
Let me be a bird trapped who still feels free.
Writing this for the sake of no one.

Monday mornings
Full of chaos and rush
Went to sleep late
Too tired for using my toothbrush.
Post week-end problems and my hatred for Mondays.

I see myself in the mirror, I see my reflection.

I don't think I'm flawless, some of my traits do need correction.

Am I beautiful? Well, that depends on one's perception.

In case of myself, I'm happy with my looks and complexion.

And I really don't care what the world says, cause I know I'm God's creation.
Be comfortable just the way you are cause God tried his best while creating you.

In spring they say
Alongwith flowers, love will bloom
But in my fate it was written
To stay in loneliness and gloom.

I stay day and night
Secluded in my room
Reflecting and crying about
My irreparable doom.

But the thought that my world
has ended, I won't assume
As hope creates the space
For happiness to mushroom.
There are times when the whole atmosphere around you is happy while you try your best to overcome your dark feelings, using hope as a shield to protect yourself from them.

They flash in the dark
Travelling through the skies.
A pleasant thing to see,
For my dreadfully tired eyes.
I wonder where they end up,
For in real they aren't stars
May be some of them might just crash into the land of Mars?

Still they give me
A tiny ray of hope
Does wishing to a shooting star really work?
May be yeah, may be nope.
Anyways, that idea is quite dope.
Though I've never seen a shooting star till now, I thought about these lines as I looked at the night sky in search of an orb of light in the dark. But, alas. The atmosphere today, especially in the cities is so polluted that even seeing the moon is a big thing. I hope some day this will change.

Cool breeze,
Butterflies and birds,
Fluttering at ease.

It's hot outside and I've put on the air conditioner,
A glass of lemonade is an ideal refreshener.

Reading a classic as I lay on the bed,
For a moment I find it funny for having no studies on my head.

On my mobile, I play some music for a while,
Dance on it, but simply freestyle.

In this way I pass my holiday,
Until I realise that there's school the next day.
My usual schedule for the summer holidays; can't wait for my exams to finish and for them to commence ;-)

Saw your charming face
Forgot everything happening at that place.

When you looked at me
No one else could I see.

Heard you talk
All the other thoughts were put to block.

But since I heard you sing
Your voice in my mind would still ring!
Trying to get the right rhyme.

Wind whispers in my ears the sweet songs about nature.
And the trees surrounding me show a different but a beautiful picture.
While I try to take notes of sounds of every creature,
The earth teaches me something new as I attend every lecture.
Yes, the Earth is the best teacher one has ever had.

To
Climb
A staircase
Of success you
Need to go step by
Step, one at a time!!!
Many of us want success in our life; but in which way, you need to decide; the long and safe way or the quick but
dangerous one.

Magic in
Her broom,
A little magic
In her black hat.

He looks at me
His eyes have a shine
And such a unique innocence
That these eyes of mine
Can't stop looking at them
And think about them all time.

Whenever I enter the room
I don't know how
His glance always falls on me
As if he were going to say, "Wow!"
And whenever I think about it
It seems that I'm blushing now.
For the V-Day crushes.

She asked her question,
He thought about his answer
What took him so time
She began to wonder.

The three magical words was his true and correct reply,
Those three words which would make any young girl's heart fly.

But flight was taken by that timid creature who didn't wanted to be committed
So for a long time on her phone screen was the word 'Typing.....' sighted.

Finally "NO" was the answer,
Sad and depressed was her face;
This was the obvious result.
But not the first online break-up case.
For those who broke their hearts online.

For me, a poem is not just for display, an appealing art piece.
It's just I'm  v om i t ti ng  the excess of emotions to be at ease.

For me, a poem is not just a  ran d om  rhythmic rant on a  ra n do m  topic.
It's a description of memories where words create a graphic.

For me, a poem is not telling the world to appreciate someone I appreciate.
It's my perspective about someone which is shown in the poem I create.

And lastly, I don't write poems to please YOU.
It's my mind's whimses I'm catering to.
I WRITE POEMS FOR MYSELF. What about you?

We'll be walking on a seashore
Strolling for minutes four
Then would head to the nearest comic book store.

I'll always do wonder
How far we've come here
And life's just getting really better and better.

You just stay with me
Forever we'll be young and free
Together strong are we
How this goes I just want to see.
Trying to write a song.
