I once wrote a story

from my granddaughter.

Some people see their  granchildren

all the time...

I can't even use all the fingers on one hand up

for the times I have seen

my precious

grandchildren.

But God is so good

He has made a way for me

and I am going to see them  again....

I am numb

with ecstasy.

so, dear readers, please know I will be gone for a while...

for I won't

I will be back.

Pawns
Cynthia Jean Jul 2016
Unsuspecting pawns
get played
in someone else's game

fragile
misinformed minds
become volatile
their minds molded
like clay

hardened by
manipulated
anger
and discontent

their lives
are sacrificed
on the altars
of evil, greedy politicians

whose strings are pulled
by the ultra wealthy
and the devil himself

they think
and believe
in all these politicians
and their promises

who temporarily
stroke their egos
and satiate
their bellies.

They are being
used, used, used...
their youth being devoured.

Sacrificed, sacrificed, sacrificed...

They're on somebody else's
front lines
and they don't even  know it.

Somebody
won't
somebody
wake them up?

Of course their lives matter.
They are precious.

ALL LIVES MATTER.

God says He made us
ALL
in HIS IMAGE
after HIS LIKENESS.

HIS SON DIED
for us
ALL.

Not for the
SOME
but for the
ALL.

Should not these
"scheduled"
demonstrations
and
"days of rage"
be  projected
towards
the manipulators????

The disillusioned...

they are blinded
they are being used
as a tool
a veritable weapon
to achieve
someone else's agenda

they are being primed
pumped up
like air in a tire....

The media
the purveyors of information

are they not responsible
to tell the truth?

If not,
by default
are they not  responsible
for orchestrated
debacles
in the making?

They are bought and sold
the price paid for the lie
is higher
than for the truth.

Pawns.

Don't be a pawn.

The time is now.

Please

Wake up.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

It's like a magic formula.  Apply it to any situation, and improvement begins almost immediately.  Think of what the world would be like if we all used this as a guideline--never rude, always kind, patient...We would have heaven on earth.---Debbie Macomber

God Knows How
Cynthia Jean Jul 2016
The Lord knows

He sees the evil

He knows those of us
who sigh and cry
who look around
and see the evil
in our midst.

We want to run
yes run
run screaming
from all this evil...

The way of man

it is not in him
to want
to do right

we must follow
hard
follow hard after God.

Because the evil
the gross evil
all around us
is falling down
all around us.

Imploding
our society is imploding...
We cannot fight it
though we must try.

We can only
walk
circumspectly
keeping our eye
on our Creator...

because you see
the Lord
does know
how to rescue
the godly people
from their trials

and He does know
how to keep
the wicked
under punishment
until that final day
of judgment...

Oh, sigh and cry
hear and fear
reverence
our Lord.

So great
is His faithfulness
His love.

So great is He.

In the midst
of all
our pain
our grief
and our sorrow

there still is
hope.

He will not fail us.

Hope in Him

Hope.
