where are the times
when people could rely
     more or less
on what their leaders
     whom they had elected
spoke and did?

when there was yet no need
to fact-check every other sentence
of presidential self-appraisals
or denigrating tweets about opponents?

after three years of suffering
through all shenanigans of the most blatant kind
it seems that rudeness, ignorance, and lies
have quietly become accepted as new normal

we've learned that people we elected
     to fight for our cause
can say one thing
     and then the opposite
throw in a lie or two
and nobody complains
or votes them out of their coveted offices

in fact
thanks to the wonderful examples of our leaders
we now have learned to distrust everybody
even ourselves

Her
Apathy.
Wrangle.
Rudeness.

His words
full of insolence
dispersed
in the room.

Reverence.
Hesitation.
Tears.

Her tears
full of pain
started streaming
down her face.

Empty.
Sad.
Inadequate.

This is how
she felt
when he left.

Every day that I'm here I feel like going home and killing myself
But when I'm home I'm fine again
Every day that I'm here I feel like going home and killing myself
But when I'm home I'm fine again

Every day I awake to the endless feeling of emptiness
And then I go to a place where there are walls without windows
People without souls
And money is everything
It's kind of hard to breathe here between the endless clouds of smoke and the kindness and integrity in which the people lack
In an environment where everyone blends as one
I stand out
It's not because I'm neither a smoker nor an unempathetic ****
But it's a little something called individuality
Individuality so transparent that people try to verbally, emotionally attack me, break me down
It seems to be working
Because when I'm in this place I'm like a zombie, I try to drain my emotions to blend in
But I still stand out even with my undeniable anger, presumable sarcasm, and ****** up hair
And I walk in a straight line when I walk, waiting to bump anyone, so tired of people invading my space walking by
Sick of people after greeting them not saying hi
Is it so ******* hard to have manners
What's a matter
Speak, nod, say something
I'm under the assumption
That I'm the only one in here
That is aware
Of what's going on around here
In this place
These people are of ******* waste
No manners, morals, or integrity
I better depart while I still possess mine
Though it's the manners I lack
But who needs that when you're always under attack

Every day that I'm here I feel like going home and killing myself
But when I'm home I'm fine again

To the big man i gave
Money, a smile, kindness
Civility
To the little girl i gave
Orders, a frown, rudeness
Denial
Of her Buddha nature
No different from the big man's
in Dharamsala

Only ONE RACE
the HUMAN RACE.

The dividers
and conquerors
all trying to convince you
otherwise.

And they are
NEVER
on the frontlines.

They
manipulate
you
stirring up
emotions
hatred.

That people should die
for the mistakes
of the few.

God hates those who stir up strife.

The only
so-called
winners
are the manipulators
the millionaires and billionaires...

those who orchestrate
the mess
who PAY people
TO HATE...

turning them into mercenaries
MERCENARY
HATERS
AND
MURDERERS

and NOT for the reasons
they think.

The ORCHESTRATORS
don't care
ONE WHIT
about the cause

ONLY
about the
POWER and CONTROL
they
HOPE TO GAIN

when they
"HAVE TO"
quell the mess
and put out the fires

Which
THEY CREATED
by
THEIR MANIPULATIONS.

BEWARE
how people
try to use your emotions

for
THEIR GREEDY GAIN

TO CONTROL
YOU.

WE ARE ALL
ONE
RACE

THE HUMAN RACE.

Reach out
try to
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

YOUR BLOOD IS ALL THE SAME!

WOUNDED

ONE
DROP OF BLOOD

IT'S
ALL THE SAME.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

It's like a magic formula.  Apply it to any situation, and improvement begins almost immediately.  Think of what the world would be like if we all used this as a guideline--never rude, always kind, patient...We would have heaven on earth.---Debbie Macomber

Have ever you heard
   The crows sing sweetly?
A singing bird,
   They sing discreetly.

They caw to scoff
   And to berate you,—
To **** you off
   And agitate you.

O.O

Before I raise
My hand,
Tell me
How rude it
Is,
For me to
Put this same
Hand on
Another person.
In what way
Is it
assault, or
How would it
Be to
Steal something
From the same
Individuals
Own hands.
Tell me this
Before I
Ask, or
Do

There’s nothing wrong with the neighbors

That a few rounds

Won’t settle down

They are Mexicans after all

And understand the brutal language

Of the gun

They only laugh and get louder

Whenever the cops

Come around

But they know that the mix

Of gunsmoke and anger

Means

Turn the **** music down

Enough Fiesta

Night after night

Enough Tequila

Day after day

Don’t **** your neighbor off

Or the next one

Might come your way… Ole’!
