when i have thought of you somewhat too much and am become perfectly and simply Lustful….sense a gradual stir of beginning muscle, and what it will do to me before shutting….understand i love you….feel your suddenly body reach for me with a speed of white speech (the simple instant of perfect hunger Yes) how beautifully swims the fooling world in my huge blood, cracking brains A swiftlyenormous light —and furiously puzzling through, prismatic, whims, the chattering self perceives with hysterical fright a comic tadpole wriggling in delicious mud

when in the stillness, I cannot hear your breathing
Most heavenly of places, this world now Of endless beauties, a sight that wows They're statuesque and wax-like, but hey don't fret No wrinkles to combat, nor ripples of fat Gazing into their arresting green eyes That of the rabbit's, resemblance lies Uncanny it is, this puzzling scene Manufactured they are, from the same jellyfish gene And since its time to seek paradise, My wandering hands caress the prize To search for weakness, now I must No amount of fondling, stirs any lust I've come so far, and this is what perfection costs? The smoothest of skin, has left all thumbprints lost

One and all, and all the same
“death everywhere, not age or ancient, just an infiltrated lack of life” a puzzling, troubling line in a personal message, instantly isolated for further review, needy indeedy for a second medical opinion, for it’s a description of two, an actual place and a state of being a place where death seems more commonplace, not from agedness or honor, but from a madness drunk from a special cocktail of heat, guns and pseudo-rock stars, with beer chasers imbibed by those who imagine themselves INRL   in a movie genre of specialized urban cowboys, subset horror flick, self-appointed angels part of a world view so pervasive that it infiltrates the mental water supply and modifies the pure children early on demeaning existence, with a sense, a sendup, life is unreal, cheap, so taking it-is ok, justice delivered, for we angels, are subset, angels of death in a country where seven out of ten believe in angels, and one in four confident that the sun revolves around the Earth look to blame polluted water the ever-overheated atmosphere, bringing typhoon and storm, I do not know *how be sun and water, the essences, the originations of all life today come to the planet days still clear and warm, yet can not infiltrate our personal mystery, respire, re-spark the notion of the spirit,* the simple sanctity of life peculiarly human

Texas: “death everywhere, not age or ancient, just an infiltrated lack of life”
An enigmatic smile she’s dressed with to chant mystery, Poets and bards with their magical poesy tried the mystery, Philosophers and thinkers broke their minds to unravel the secrecy, Scientists and law makers built hypotheses and verdicts to read hers, Painters and sculptors fatigued with their colours and clay, Actors and directors enacted to unknot the thread of obscurity. Odes and epics, long-written, attempted to sing Lisa’s Smile; But reflections of their beloveds’ smile read in their verses, Philosophies and thoughts expressed in huge volumes; But less understood even the painter’s invention, Theories and laws built around Science and Law; But little is the outcome of their propositions sans the mystery, Colours and clay played on mighty imaginative realms; But Mona Lisa ne’er spoke of her mystery Smile. Enactments on massive stages thrilled the collective audiences; But Mona Lisa hid the mystery of her Smile. I walked around the garden of poetry with fragrance of mystery, I saw a poem in her distinctive beauty ruling my mind’s eye. She smiled at my heart and in turn my heart smiled at her, Her smile taught me a mystery and it took time to read it; Yet there was a veil betwixt us, and I took my plume to write. She took my heart unto her, and I romped in joy. She’s been decked with melody and rhymes, And the string of verses stretched beyond the horizon, Where the mystery of Lisa’s Smile be found. She took me with her beyond the horizon, And I followed her with no utterance till our destination. She laughed at me for my silence; Yet she smiled unto me; but her smile looked unfathomable. She smiled and smiled at me; yet she had no utterance for me; She looked a little bit puzzling unto me, and I had no answer; Yet her smile dwelled in me, and I invoked the Muse of Poetry. “Thou art to be a silent lover, and her smile is the answer unto thee, She’s the Mona Lisa; she can’t speak, but smile and smile.” I lay on the soil of the kingdom of poetry, imbibing Lisa’s Smile, I adorn her smile; I worship her smile; I revere her smile, Let me not move away from the garden of poetry Till Lisa’s Smile is translated unto me. I waited and waited and I found the answer: Lisa smiles and her smile is the love of silence. My heart rests in silence that her love is felt within. She uttered into me:”Speak not, but love with smile, And that the mystery of my Smile and my Smile lasts.” I know why Mona Lisa smiles. She loves me with her silent Smile.

Your music is sensual, dark and languid Mysterious and **** hypnotic and sultry The slow tempo and rumbling bass drums are a heavenly mix I close my eyes and let the forlorn echoes immerse me In a sea of falsetto vocals and stuttering percussions Your music is enigmatic, puzzling and seductive Pacifying and troubling, calming and cinematic Your champagne crooning is a movie in itself Telling me the tales of a gloomy sex-infused hangover life And it connects to the depths of my soul Even though I've never experienced it Narcotized slow jams filled with samples of punk and rock Transports me to an actual dream world Your subtly crafted harmonies and beats are celestial And your lyrics a painkiller That numbs the wounds in my soul and takes me higher... Your voice is R&B; but your lyrics are ***** rap You take such vile words and turn them into something beautiful and I adore that.

Ode to The Weeknd
The sunset sky dazzling with the golden hues, Taking bow in brilliant sparkle of experience Is it not a ****** of the story so far, that was today? Or is it building anticipation of the night yet to come. Watch the days go, some proud of their accomplishments Some leaving sighs of disappointments, Leaving all in awe of its Amaranthine twists and turns And the fortunate get to see the moon trying to steal the show from setting sun, Oh she is such a show off, isn’t she, basking in reflected glory Its magical, the sunset sky, Puzzling, sometimes just like a riddle, Leaving the nature stunned and amazed For it has been filling the canvas whole day with colours And now the sunset threatens to hide them all And in dark all the colours will be same A cue for the wise. Sunset sky has so much to offer, is she not a fine example of how uncertain a life can be Often reminding no matter what you planned, there will be some unexpected returns For End has its own brain, its own script Charting its own course So why just the beginning, every moment of the life should be grand, meted with equal passion and fervor She has been so clever; the sunset sky Leaving Twinkling cryptic messages for the night sky For even the dark has sparkle and hope if you keep your head up, A constant reminder that exuberance is an attitude of deep, rich, warm hearts **I want my sunset sky to be grand, magical, and full of stories of my life that has been And its memories to linger on in this world, in the tomorrow and a few more years to come**

You were like a wild fire That I watched from a distance Yet somehow you caught my heart I wanted to be closer, in your presence So trusting, I reached out my hand In order to be embraced by you Aggressively, painfully you took it And naively I didn't have a clue That my hand claimed to be unfit You burned my skin around and through Crazily I thought I would get used to it Build up a tolerance that was tough and true I was mesmerized by your puzzling beauty How brightly you shined on your own Throughout the day until the night I never felt like I was alone However my tolerance Didn't seem to grow Your flames started to consume me Taking more as they go You weren't satisfied with a piece of me You wanted more than I could show Oddly enough I relished in it My crazy passionate joking beau

Psychotic Seduction
one: the first day my skin met yours god realized jesus was his one and only regret. two: if i could untangle all of the veins in my chest, if i could make them stop strangling every last molecule of love i have left in my body, you would see the last words you spoke to me fall out of their crippled noose like teardrops. three: will she ever love you enough to give you her lungs? four: when she screams **** me" before she comes i hope you hear me screaming **** you" the night you walked away. five: i write words and stare at the letters. the arrangement of letters is a puzzling thing to me, the way these same letters that can hold so much hate towards you once held the same amount of love. six: they say time heals all. well why didn't they ever ******* tell me what happens when i have a broken watch? seven: i made the stars fall out of the sky like they were the moons teardrops for you on the 31st night of lying in bed alone. you didn't see it because you were catching her tears in your bed instead. eight: you will still walk the same streets that i do from time to time and i hope you see a footprint that looks like mine and realize it belongs on your throat. nine: you are nothing but a tragic, rusty, chipped nail. you are the nails that pin me to this cross. your palms once fit into mine but now there's only holes from these stab wounds. ten: i thought about the time you said you'd never leave and it knocked the air you inhaled into my lungs the last time you kissed me right out. it hit me so hard two ribs broke. it was a tuesday.

unnoticed scars soft, lavender marks branded on the skin unlike common scars they are not wretched and ugly but puzzling, perplexing, like the bruises that appear at random after a long night of what was thought to be a peaceful slumber

Unnoticed Scars
My secret crush, you make me blush, each time i stare at your beauty, consider the following typical scenario of the dilemma, a scenario that's quite puzzling, I couldn't help it ,but go down memory lane, visualizing your smile, but still so vivid in my head, you have no idea, you have no clue, through my looks, just how much I think of you every single minute, My heart feels like it's torn apart, But i know deep down we are never apart, In fact, I hit myself so hard knowing i can't make you notice me, the distances seems so far, But look straight at the moon tonight, you will know we are never apart, i can barely write these lines, But your beauty brings out the rhymes and make it rhyme, My feelings for you runs deeper than the ocean, This is not just a reaction from my emotion, But a confession of my submission, I wish you only knew. yet I'm still invisible to you. your love is so sweet,it knocks me off my feet" Show me a road path, leading straight into your heart. And i will take my shoes off and walk in with my feet, Beneath your beauty lies your behind, That why you never fall behind. i wanna cave you a bear hug, then settle for friendship, In other not to make a mess as i go to bed, be in my dream tonight, because in reality, Its all i have ever dreamed of, you are my secret crush.

SECRET CRUSH
Our eyes have met in an unexpected way. He had caught my attention, and I started to behold. Things became a bit puzzling; but I kept myself descrying. As I perceived for so many days, weeks, months... something in me unfold. Things were revealed; then it showed complicated scenes. As I closed my eyes, he showed up in my dream. My heart beat for him; it felt good and seemed true. A tiny part of me loved him in a land of fantasy. Then I woke up- I am back in the reality, where my feeling for him is like forbidden. Now I couldn't wait for another night, to love him in my dreams. -Steph Dionisio, May 28, 2015

® Forbidden Feeling
My life was black and white A colorless canvas that stood barren Color was never essential It was never a necessity of mine. Yet somehow in my own dull perception A dot had formed right in the center A bright dot to say the least... A peculiar thing I had never seen before It grew slowly, little by little A storm of color emerged with each inch Brown, Yellow, Blue, Purple... So many different colors My canvas was no longer colorless In fact it was the complete opposite. It was not plain and it was not normal It was now a work of art. People gawked at its odd style Praised it for its unusual strokes A bizarre spectacle to most And a quite unexpected transformation for me... "Who painted this strange piece?" Before I knew it people were staring at me. Puzzling eyes that clapped in my direction "Congratulations on your success" Words that made me realize I was the painter I was the one holding the brush The ****** who painted my own path The one who put color into my life "Sign the painting" They all cheered But now that I know I'm the painter My work of art is not finished yet I have unfinished business in my life I cannot quit now. Knowing that I still haven't found the right colors The right mix of red, green or blue to solve my problems I cannot call this a masterpiece... My life is still a canvas But it's not colorless anymore...

Color me Blue
Chasten Calypso declared to be clear; humming a mumble inside of mine ear. Always heard, but ne’er understood, a whisper so willing, decidedly good. The rapture of doomsday is said to be near, but an ounce of the evidence has yet to appear. There are several factors that could end it all; the pride of mankind is destined to fall. Hastened Calypso declared to be clear, rumbling a rumble, fueled by a fear. Often forgotten, yet forever engraved; those who are faithful have already been saved. Dwindled and swindled, the man may soon ask, “Your person is puzzling; take leave of your mask.” Now the raven is calling, to bring out your soul, but all you have left is a void with a hole. With chastened Calypso declared to be clear she is tumbling a bumble who’s drunken with beer, and thought the cliff it is climbing is sharp, and quite sheer, if the bumble dose stumble it won’t shed a tear. Where we are looking and what we will find is based in illusion we have made in our mind; Always is heard, and is ne’er understood. It’s a whisper so willing, decidedly good.

I don’t know the moment we became friends I don’t know the moment you transformed from a looming, strong-willed Sasquatch To a cute ’n’ kind Koala I’m not sure how you managed that change but I’m glad you did Not that I’m saying you were the only one to change Perhaps I was the Sasquatch before and have since softened into a loving Llama or a caring Camel In any case, it really doesn't matter who did the changing Just that it happened That out of all the random connections that could be made We were challenged to care for each other. I don’t know what brought us together or why Maybe it was nature challenging its bounds to see what it could get to fall in love with what Perhaps it was just us realizing there was a kindred spirit behind all of that bristled Sasquatchian fur Whatever it was I’m betting God was ultimately behind it *** He’s legit like that Honestly though, I’m glad it happened I’m glad that my view of you changed. I’m glad that I got to know you. I’m stoked that we talk and let each other know what’s happening in life. I rejoice that you were a persistent little Sasquatch when I had written you off. I’m glad I can call you friend. I can honestly say that I would take a bullet for you, That’s right; I’ll be your guard Llama I would traverse space and time, fight all laws of physics and all the sciences just to make sure you were ok For you I would find Atlantis, I’d find the “missing link” I’d find all the things that are mysterious and leave you puzzling I’d travel to places that aren't possible to reach simply because people have ceased to believe in them And make strangers begin to believe again just to make you smile or distract you from the hurt for even a moment My dear sweet little Sasquatch I adore you I treasure you Couldn't live without you

Days go with you and bid goodbye Hours slide down and die And drape down The innocence of the Noun! With the experience of Adverbs Of place, time and frequency, the Verbs Replace the endearing use of Nouns (Slowly moving from lisping sounds ) To the stable use of personal Pronouns! Individuality stands alone keeping the Subject alone Sometimes with a defiant adolescent tone Distractions, doubts in the use of Determiners A shaky ground for the beginners! Disagreement with the Subject-Verb agreement begins Early during this period and lurks within, and at times springs With the Nouns like mathematics, rhetorics and news Without any tension to meddle in don’ts and dos! What I wish to say in a few sentences Is not enough about life’s infinite time and tenses! To deconstruct the grammar of growing up is not enough As adolescence is a diamond in the rough; It is a living discourse; both simple and tough Ironical, unpredictable, surprising, puzzling stuff Needs patience, pardon, perseverance and fun To handle its substance for every daughter and son!

A Grammar of Growing Up
If ever, oh ever, you happen to meet A poor giant ****** while out on the street Pay him no mind but do not lower guard For the lives of giant midgets are puzzling and hard For trapped deep inside the six foot illusion Hides three feet of anger, made worse by confusion Struggling to figure out why so much space Has been given to such a short, height-challenged race To move among people, just trying to fit in When on the inside they don't fit their own skin The rage and the hatred they've let manifest Into a mad need to put us to the test To figure out why, when we fit our insides There are places inside us where emptiness hides Which we try to fill up with things we don't need When all that they want is a chance to be freed But if they could see that in fact we don't fit Our minds contain people with nowhere to sit Each with a voice that commands us to do What it wants instead of what we want to do Each one so loud as to drown out the rest Each one insisting what it knows is best Leaving us mostly distressed and confused Our poor little brains worn out and abused If they could just see that although they reside Inside such a cavernous, double-sized hide We are really no different than they We all have our problems that won't go away But they are alone, no one else in their mind Festering within the shell they're confined And we have the voices that tell us to guard Against giant midgets, who have it so hard
