"derange" poems
Russia and America circle each other; Threats nudge an act that were without doubt A melting of the mould in the mother, Stones melting about the root. The quick of the earth burned out: The toil of all our ages a loss With leaf and insect. Yet flitting thought (Not to be thought ridiculous) Shies from the world-cancelling black Of its playing shadow: it has learned That there's no trusting (trusting to luck) Dates when the world's due to be burned; That the future's no calamitous change But a malingering of now, Histories, towns, faces that no Malice or accident much derange. And though bomb be matched against bomb, Though all mankind wince out and nothing endure -- Earth gone in an instant flare -- Did a lesser death come Onto the white hospital bed Where one, numb beyond her last of sense, Closed her eyes on the world's evidence And into pillows sunk her head.

A Woman Unconscious
It ***** to know that things will never change The clothing you continuously rearrange And the looks we exchange You're not the one thats strange Im sorry for causing you such derange (s.a)

Strange
I lost my white Pigeon that resembled a white Dove- I lost him through death, death of my love- I assembled him of my lost father, for both now i cry- I am filled with the feelings of loss, lost and of I- I am afraid to live and afraid to die. My Pigeon so strong just like my dad- is remembered fondly, in the love i had- Still , he waited patiently, to witness a change, but his health faltered quickly as my mind did derange- Stoic and Beautiful my Lost White Pigeon Dove- I curse what has befallen you , my father, - I release you from the duty of my love- Rest Peacefully Pigeon, Dad, Scott (Squid), Denise, Paul, Bill, and Grandma

White Love Pigeon Dove
The world is full of hatred and spite, It may come as a surprise Oh innocent youth, But allow me to reprise, The world is full of hatred and spite. Oh innocent youth, Change it, we must, In the way we see fit. Take charge of the reigns, And demolish the parts causing the most pain. Ignorance and Arrogance Are the Gods of the day, Lack of wanting or caring For the power of knowledge, Content to be slaves, Lost in their ways. Oh tainted youth, How far will this path take us? Destroying our home, our friendships, our lives, Our bodies, our minds, our dreams, Crushed and broken, Until nothing is left, Nothing except subservient beings. Oh enraged youth, How do we change the events set into motion, Call me a radical but I have such a notion. Seek knowledge, peace, Love, and understanding. In these virtues you will find The mind’s true elation, Then, and only then, Will you break free From the grip of preoccupation. Oh enlightened youth, When and how will our voices be heard? Whenever it is, we break ranks from the herd. It will require us all, Brothers, sisters, blacks, and whites, No group left uncalled, For fear that upon deaf ears our efforts should fall, Oh empowered youth, With these tools we must fashion, Our revolution of choice, With chests out and heads high, We will make sure they hear, Our unified voice. For without the power of us, There will be no change, But the power of us Is a force to reckon, Yet we must keep our path straight, And let it not derange. Oh complacent youth, I fear that change should not come, Soon enough, or yet at all, Unless we stand tall, and call, For those in their hall, To Bring Down their Wall. When we treat all equal, With love and respect, We will have won. But what do you expect? Oh innocent youth, This will not happen, it cannot happen, The world is filled with Hatred and Spite, And I fear we will gaze eternally, At our cause, fading, Into that great twilight.

One click, two clicks as they are locked within the chamber. Trapped within themselves, stoking coals red hot with anger. Because... Kindness is a trinket, and people value it as much. An ornament worth a look, but seldom worth a touch. And now... Sitting in this chamber, who I am remains unseen. I could not cut enough to show what lies beneath. And still... I am who I am, and this world will not change me. I will be who I am, this pain will not derange me. And I wish... I wish that all they saw was the color of my soul. I wish my story mattered to them a bit more. But now... One click, two clicks with a hollow point in the chamber. Freedom from myself, soaking walls blood red with anger.

Trapped in the Chamber, and Freed by it.
He turns the page Of old age For what was once the rage Now sits in his cage It's been a war to wage This, life's final stage The pressure gauge Ticking on so outrage Ticking by in ménage For his book's cleavage Untouched and derange Year's wasted and disengaged If only there was no leakage Or ever such seepage Life on his barren range With no panacea to assuage No wife ever, no cat, no life to engage Nothing but red read rage Now in his final chapter, this cage This cage, death does he part this rampage A life perched without marriage For he married to himself backstage Where his curtain veiled fruitage In lieu of looking at the skies for dosage He fell hostage to his hermitage Yet this, his bottled pilgrimage Sinking now in raging montage He does sit beseeched in his passage And hopes someday to bid bon voyage With direr hopes of  turning a better page Logan Robertson 9/27/2018

That's where he's been hanging around lately. I hear their coffee is decent. Half and half, a spoonful of sugar, and a dash of shameful regret. He orders his eggs over easy with a side of fresh apologies. The scratchy booth seat squeaks merciless obscenities at him as he shifts uncomfortably because of his aching back and aching conscience. If I were to pass by him at a diner, I doubt I would even recognize him. Guilt tends to deform the appearance, and derange the soul.

If you look deep into the high dry sky, You might be able to catch time fly by. The sands of the hour glass slowly decay away. The future you were longing for already is today. Right now, Has already, Become then. What you thought was in the present, Has just gone to the past. What you think is in the future, Has just gone to the past. You know its going to happen, just not when, Your pain hurts now, but it won’t hurt then. Time soars, not fly’s, Doesn’t fall, but glides. As time goes adrift, it is forever no more, Washed out to sea, to never see another shore. Every single second the time will change, Shift and rearrange, slowly to derange. Like a burring candle, the flame melts us down, Were stuck in a never ending ocean, trying not to drown.

Rearrange, re-estrange, re-derange. Exchange the change you Prearranged with something Even stranger. Interchange your long-range Thoughts for something Shorter, maybe don't be Shortchanged this time around.

(my greatest failure - five years later) What is this covet Inside of my mind, This subtle inscription So purely defined? When fairy-tales ceased And images stopped I padlocked my door Yet, inside you walked The present; suspended Your hand on the frame Your question extended Amidst my derange. Constructing the green Encased in your eyes Surrounded in gold. . . Abundant inside Under your slumber I found my abyss; Subtle as thunder Perpetual hunger. . . Holding the moon; Discovering you Our lives, intertwined By golden fused blue. Once, you accused me Of not needing you Yet, nothing you’d utter Could be more untrue No matter how distant, Undone and askew; No matter the question I’ll always keep you.

He Watched Me Dying & Said I Must Stop Choking For It Was Too Loud for Him To Sleep
1. Under the bright lights, the car parked. "Is it wholesome?" "What is?" "Just like the canaries on the roof. They lean on each other so helplessly yet so beautifully" "...like a movie?" "A play." "Why not drive again?" "I was driving slowly, but I strayed away when a sudden moment of painful retention appeared in the rear mirror." _____________________ 2. How long has it been, since we’ve flown three and a half kites across the black sky? “I sought refuge within a shell.” You once said. “They wouldn’t buy your jewels.” “I lost my sandals, in an ocean.” “In our ocean?” You hushed. “You weren’t wearing any.” “The sounds of the battle, has cost you your sight.” She laughed. “And, your insight.” _____________________ 3. What makes the world go ‘round? (1) “I left you a note, seven years ago.” You held your breath. “Have you not read it?” “The sports page?” Her face is aglow. “Your beloved fluorescent pink marker? How could I miss?” She closed her eyes. “Your cotton-candy, and your umbrellas? Have you never known me?” _____________________ 4. The shooting stars never fail to disappoint. “Our fates intertwined” You’re half-asleep. “So did our shambles.” “I’ve waited on you.” She’s made a sandcastle. “I’ve swum through a thousand knots.” “Yet, you’ve lost.” “After I’ve tried.” Her wings in bubble wrap.  “I’ve been to the closure and back.” “They’ve shot my heart down.” “I’ve taken my pieces.” _____________________ 5. In harmony we detained our secrets, and cremated our bones. “They told me of stolen years.” You wonder. “Where have they gone?” “Many a lie consumed breathing air.” She swallowed her tears. “This gift is worthless, if you can’t break your wings.” “Derange my world?” “Drown your life.” You sighed. “Save mine.” “Your heart, my jewels, your shell, my wings, your notes, my sandals.” “Yes.” “Yes.” _____________________ (1) Al Green.

Our words are immortal To those whom are dead For we celebrate it all Where others feel dread A new speaker succeeds From generations advanced Speaking good and evil deeds Truth of life no longer danced Speakers for the dead show all None can be hidden That moment of shoplift at a mall And care to another's son What we ignore today Will be plain in the end For others will finally say If they were truly a friend Society will never change But it's occupants can See others without derange As merely a human                                             *But who am I kidding                                             When I say things with hope                                             I know none will listen                                             Not a soul will really hear                                             For people are thick-skulled                                             And hear what they want                                             Not some beggar on the street                                             Or an artist wishing to preach* So I continue to write Not knowing the purpose With all this blindness Who will dare to see?

The riders come on horseback strange The days are coming; soon will change The four horsemen that come in night One pale, one dark, one red, one white And each will bring a plague derange Now listen well and preludes hear The coming of the horsemen’s near The blood of God, our only hope The riders come… The first is white and wields a bow The second, red, is war we know The third is black and steals our food The last is pale and kills our brood Each plague when comes will bring us woe The riders come…

all of these random facts, merely an internet acts. "nothing rhyme with orange", so you never feel derange? "and what about silver", none that makes you shiver? "then it must be rhythm", clearly you have no freedom. "positively its purple", please make it triple. though there are words with no rhyme, let's create something worth the time.

I hate scrubbing the smell of "love" and cigarettes out of my ******* hair from depicting happiness from myself when it clearly wasn't there I hate waking up to cuts and bruises from the night before from someone who claimed to give a **** but doesn't anymore I hate trying to paint the perfect picture on my face to hide the thoughts and memories that only pain could trace I'm so sick of starring at screens waiting for a change its like the only thing my life has come to in this state of derange I'm so sick of watching people laugh when theres nothing quite so happy in my life that could ever compare to that I'm so sick of writing letters with no return address No matter how much I confess, everything is still a mess You can pick up everyones pieces and put it back together but no matter what, weather is weather It could be snowing or raining or just ******* beautiful but its what you chose to make of yourself that is forever suitable relying on others is just a waste of time and you're right, there is no way I could ever reach the value of a dime because I'm a million dollars, so its your loss that you won't even care to bother

By choosing between the same two parties. Is it really our expectation. That we will change our lives, enhance and greater our situation. Now I don't want to be rude, and forgive my profanity. But repeating the same action expecting different results is the exact ******* definition of insanity. They're slowly stealing your pension, ending all plans for retirement. Oh, and just wait and see what FIPPA And China do to our environment. And yet we go to the polls, expecting some kind of change. Are these who are truly in charge? Or simply tools meant to derange. So much corruption and controversy. **** Harper, **** Trudeau and **** the NDP. every politicians a vandal, exploiting our lives with each and every scandal. Things here are escalating, and if you don't agree. Then what the **** happened, downtown during G20? When issues are met with confusion, designed to make dissent impossible. The people wake from their delusion, and revolution becomes inevitable. Raise the bar by a meter. Or in a way it's our fault. Do we really pick our leader, by who can dig up dirt, lie and insult? Let's stop all this dissonance. Let's not be known by our apathy. Pay attention to those in charge, help better our lives; improve its quality.
