My shoulders a mountaintop
My mind a sky
Would you climb?
Will you fly?
Just a clever little thing to keep in mind.  Hue hue.  (:

Fall down
We grasp at everything
But as we drown
We realize we have nothing

Climb back up
We continuously fight
Take each step even though
We barely see light

Walk a mile
We want to give up already
But we can't help but smile
At the progress we're making

Run toward the skies
We reach for the blue
And we rise
To enjoy the view

I remember the nights
when I used to climb
into your window
To jump into your bed

Panda woman, that is me
Wears a mask and is chubby
Climbing up a bamboo tree

I see nothing beyond
No turning around
All life is withdrawn
The bottom not found
My stomache will sink
As I am pushed to the brink

Despite being so close
I still want to fight
The end nobody knows
I move with death in sight
Out comes survival instinct
As I am pushed to the brink

Suddenly I begin to fall
The air is rushing me
Life is beginning to stall
The end is here finally
Yet I can't help but think
As I am pushed to the brink

I grasp for anything
Because I'm not done yet
Can't just let death win
Still too much regret
I refuse death's drink
As I climb from the brink

I dove in head first--
didn't think about it
let the huge bubble
around me burst--
ignored the warning signs
of shallow water all around
not the least fearful
of landing on the ground
instead of the murky, watery sea--
but the ground came fast
and slammed right into me--
still I got my *** right back up again
and climbed that huge ladder
all determined to be the one to win
and jumped this time feet first--
and yep,
still made that bubble burst,
but this time I landed smack into the sea
and swam far, far away from here
seems it was finally my time to just be free!

Early morning, still asleep, but awake. Driving.
Trail head, moving, but still asleep. Starting.
Early blues, dirt and cold, move. Hiking.
Sunrise, waking up, seeing green. Accepting.
Light and day, a smile, and examination. Upwards.
Afternoon, some food, energized. Suspense.
Another start, a drink, you see it. Anticipation.
Final push, sun overhead, sweat. Breaking.
A moment, you're there, the peak. Relief.
A pause, a rest, the magic. Beauty.
Postpone, delay, but down again. Exhaustion.
Aching, sore, but worth it. Descent.
Time, darkness, back again. Driving.
Ahead -- another mountain, tall, for tomorrow. Sleep.

such a mixed up,
messed up soul
murky eyes full
of hearts she stole
with empty hands
she gives her all
seeking the climb
so she feels the fall

This climb we take
Most pain and misery
Our hard work at stake
Just for some scenery
We are the few
Struggling for the view

Each rock we move
New challenges arise
Our path never smooth
Is our journey wise?
This stress not new
Struggling for the view

We make it there
Looking at our journey
Nothing will compare
To the love we carry
For the road we traveled
And the view we unraveled

It's pressing on my chest
Like a weight that can't be lifted
I hate the way it feels
As if the world is tilted
I climb and climb
But fall back down
To my place
Here on the ground
I've lost my wings
I've lost my hope
I need a reason to climb back up
