Tuner In The Sax
Accidentally sticking a tuner in a Barry Sax
My friend told me relax
She winked at me and stated she'd gladly take the blame
After i insisted that i would
Because i'm a Man and must admit my discrepancies
But there seems to be a unrelenting efficiency
When good luck comes your way
It took a couple of people to get it out
But atlas, we were successful.
Some stories from marching band are crazy, but that one might top the bill.
Oh, maybe it's a tie with a trombone slide flying towards the stands.
Historical events happen in such an organization like this.
Real life story, happened last night actually! *****

Proposing
Man proposes,
Women proposes
Both proposes at the same time unexpectedly
Wait, what?
Talk about hysterical
I wonder if that's ever happened before.
Like gold that washed from a shore
Thoughts racing back and forth galore
The excitement has overtakened me
My imagination might not take any more
Get me a pen
This has got to be on paper.
I'm a poet but i'm also curious.
A very wild and funny concept.

Fuming Inside
Every now and then i seem to corrode certain things
And get angry at myself non-stop
Like a performance that became a flop
I grow red and fuming
Only discreetly
Because i always expect better from myself
I like to be competitive with my past self
So i can be the person my parents and family would want me to be.
People say i mostly get angry at myself and they're not wrong.

Gun Control?
Gun control?
You mean like not going crazy with it and be a responsible adult?
This nation has a apparent gun contingency
But the moment we take the guns away
Will be the modern fears of Communism striking us from within
We would be the Rome with no able army
The Founding Forefathers knew this
And would of handled this shooting problem with some extra assistance from the nation's defenders themselves
Mr President, employ the protectors to keep us safe
But do not take guns away.
My take on Gun Control. I understand why people want it, but it will do us more harm than good. Analyze Australia and England and you will see. They lost their guns.

Car Horns
Appreciation is showed for the marching band by how many horns are honked while cars drive by on the nearby road
Or almost stepping on small baby Toads on the walk to your car
In the middle of the night
Sleep deprived
It's okay, we wouldn't want it any other way

Three Nuclear Wars
I'm the calmest one in the room
But inside my mind three nuclear wars have already happened
And it's halfway done with the nuclear winter
Getting ready to experience the human splinters
Trying to recreate civilization for the first time in a grand number of years
We have to set an example for our peers
Or the term wasted years becomes relevant
Why end what could be by making rash decisions?
Keep your composure
You'll be a promoted soldier
Fighting for something greater than yourself
And that's more than many people can ask for.
The Nuclear Winter is what we all fear in our head
That's what happens when something major happens to someone i care about
I'm keeping all the straws together in the straw hut
But they keep falling down
Why won't it work for me?
I ask myself repeatedly
Don't worry honey, i'm doing just fine
Just thinking about keeping my sanity from combusting
I can't let your beautiful soul see my internal pain and fear
It will be alright, my dear.
I've been trying to have the best composure one person can possibly have.

Permanent Misery
Why do people ride the roller coasters over and over again?
Why do people become board game boards and have things walk all over them repeatedly?
Why do people stay in the status quo for decades upon decades
Why do people hesitate to get out of something they know they can?
I'm not going to live in permanent misery
I'm not conforming for the common miserable life

I've had enough moping time

Perfume
There are people out there who are allergic to perfume
Glad I’m not one of those individuals
A few are too strong, a few are too weak
But I can’t deny that I’m too much of a sucker
To resist the smell
Some have a scent you don’t want to ever fade away
It’s a glamorous trait for someone to have
A tendency to consistently pour the smell onto them
A temporary trademark
But don’t let that fool you, some are like Odin’s hammer in strength.
They captivate you in a powerful way

There's An Art
There’s an art to dealing with something that drives you ridiculously mad and you still somehow come out sane.
There’s an art to be a player, but even more so when you own the game.
There’s an art of uplifting spirits
There’s an art to want to be better instead of staying the same
There’s an art out there I haven’t claimed yet
There’s an art to everything if you turn your blinkers off
There’s an art if you see it as so.

Tangible Emotion
I don't have a degree on love, but i think you are in need of some.
Undergraduate or straight down the pyramid
You should no where to find me
No matter the position in my life
My humanity should overshadow status
If you're down for something tangible in emotion, you know where i am.
I don't play games, i leave those at Home and the field

Combining into one consistent thought
Loosening the knots
That were placed there before
It's a challenge, but who knows what we can accomplish.

Ebullient Moments
Ebullient moments touch me like Jesus touched the blind
Curing all the sheer stupidity and dread for just a few seconds
Like it diminished forever
But once these moments are over
The morbid realization comes back into play
Now i'm in overtime and can't score a goal
What number should i roll?
These dice aren't rigged, but i still have my suspicion
What will become of me if i let this get to me?

Soaking It In
As the pain just adds up,
I'll be your sponge and soak it in
Feeling it all within
Beneath me and below me
Tired of the Sin
That implements fear into our hearts
Never again will i witness such discouraging misery without having a hand into preventing it.
We're all guilty of pandiculation.
I'm no different, but at least i can attempt to stop some of the ravaging pulses that define our physical state.
We invented habit, but now we're trying to have a ribbon cut to end the ones we dislike the most.

Down To Earth
A woman that strikes me as down to Earth
Can revive the parts that were previously unearthed
Everything they are would be wonderful to be apart of me
I Want to live on a street with your name on it
But i won't put hard concrete on your roads
How about something softer?
I think i see a few toads
I'll make sure your roads stay clean
And the Houses are better than the ones in your dreams.
Idk about this poem. I just thought of streets and decided to write this.
All these haters call me gay as an insult

DedPoet stated that none of his writing made it into paper
To celebrate his life and contribution to life
I propose a proposition

It would make his legacy permanent
Everybody deserves some time of legacy when they dedicate themselves to something.

Pink Lady
Watching The Girl in pink explain to us the deep history of medieval art and music
While i'm trying to figure out how to replicate their legacy
Staying quiet in my own thoughts
These videos are so dated
But it gives me some chance to be elated
About what and who i can be
These lights turn off just a little too fast
But i'll get used to it
I always do-i'm the learning example of adaption
We have to be a little taller than the uncut grass
And a bit higher than the Hot Balloons
I don't get to see too many of those too often
Those people are brave souls for going inside them and flying
But you should have the want like they do
To reach out and grab the trophy that has your name printed on it
Pink Lady is what they call her
And she seems so happy explaining the exciting portions of this vastly dated time period
You kind of wish more girls had the interests she had
When these videos end
I feel a little more encouragement to be something better than i was yesterday

Multiple Escape Pods
Chasing the dream
Is harder than it seems
But i have more than one escape pods to jump into
Just in case the writing one fails and crashes into the wrong place
I have another Mount Everest to face
This time it won't untie my shoelaces
I'm ready to give everything i got
To make up all the time i fought
With the battles i was thrown
And the wars that were waged
Around me and within me
But most importantly
Never lose sight on what's most important to you
Because i promise you
Not everything you pursue will be a crash and burn
If you try hard enough and work with blood and sweat
You might even get lucky the first time
Raise those monkey bars you used in kindergarten
So you can set an example for the future generations
To make up their own destiny.
