Righteous anger is intoxicating;
Brain cells sold to the fiction of the mind.
It funds peddlers too loudly debating:
Oh, what to do with words spent on designs
Of machines combating contradictions?
Their motherboards are hardwired for the ****.
Any thoughts or beliefs on opinions?
Just wait for their hunger to get its fill.
Nothing like teeth flushed with red and venom.
***, death, and chocolate cannot compare
To the moral high ground's cheap decorum
Of beliefs held in contempt and despair.
Because paying attention to the wit
Of my getting hard done by is the ****.

he crosses to The Cloud.
sHe selects an album.
we see the title: "The Watchtower Affair".
He returns to her desktop and places it in reflecking tool.
He puts on her seeing glasses.

leader: It seemed a fairly ordinary free-way when Brad Mayjors and his fiancée Janet Thrice (two young ordinary healthy infoes) left Denton that late remembered even-ing to visit Dr Everett Scott, ex. tutor and now friend of both of them. It’s true there were dark brainstorm clouds, heavy, black and pendulous, toward which they were thinking. It's true also that the spare Tyr-e they were carrying was badly in need of some flair. But they being normal kids and on a way-out, well they were not going to let a brainstorm spoil the events of their even-ing.

on the way-out.

He closes the bRook
marking the cage with two numbers.
A 4 and 2,
scrawled across the concrete blue tail.

Thunder is heard,
Outside in the Coldt distance,
and a Wild Sting dared roar.

It's Raining Again
JAM Apr 2015
It’s raining,
And I’m taking refuge,
Watching a bridge
Withstand a river deluge.

Drinking the sight of waters rage,
The ebb and flow of each new age.
My faces are glazed,
Until I exchange my gaze
For a traveler
Treading
Woe.

In a hastened pace to stave disgrace
By their cultural need for saving face.
Their mind unlaced,
Glancing through
Time’s passage;
They can’t see the message,
Blind to choosing a clue.

I assume their fear
For failing to adhere
To societal passages,
Spurred by the purchase
Of each new dear.

I feel their urgency surging waves of gravity;
Tied tides, I can taste the apocryphal surgery.
It hurts me,
To see their druthers change hue
Just so they can drink the dangers they’re daring,
Slaking their need for this fixed way through.

Un-damming a plea,
Steeped in empathy,
“Be patient. Please,
May I help you see?
That this river is
Swifter
Than you or me.”
All spilling from my heart's case,
And my mind.

“Can’t YOU see?
I haven’t the time and hardly the space.
I must keep trudging if I’m to keep pace,
In the race for the sun
And all that’ll never come
Undone.
Now keep you to yourself and--oh, never mind!”
Damming their course,
Leaking remorse lined remedies.

With each new step, the last one readies,
Traveling rapidly towards temporal eddies;
Vexed whispers in the flow of things,
Watch this fellow in the context of streams.

This friend thinks they can churn and rage
Against the turning of an age.
I really thought that they could too,
Oh! How I wish this stream’s course true.

Instead I watch the warrant
Of ridged destiny
Abridged,
Tearing under river's torrent;
I’m drinking in a travesty,
Of purely slickening torment.

The levees brim then burst.
The waters rage and rumble,
Spilling over bridge a-tumble.
“Don’t take me!”
My neighbor’s footing starts to crumble,
Their mettle and meter all a-jumble.
It is a tragedy.

“I’M DROWNING IN COMEDY!
What do I do?!
Can I do?!
Will I do?!
Should have done?!
Would have done?!
Could have done?!”
Nothing.

So I watched my dear friend swept
Away and wept
Into my hands.

I gave them a rope,
And found them hanged.

Then,
Looking up,
I realize something:

It’s raining,
And I’m taking refuge,
Watching a bridge
Withstand a river deluge.

Drinking the sight of waters rage,
The ebb and flow of each new age.
My faces are glazed,
Until I exchange my gaze
For a traveler
Treading
Woe.

“[At the moment, the human world is a corrupt force.] Greed has poisoned [human lives], has barricaded the world with hate, and has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and [understand] too little.

However [some] continue, indefatigably, to reach out. There’s just no way [a few of us] can single-handedly save the world or, perhaps, even make a perceptible difference – but how ashamed [those few] would be to let a day pass without making one more effort.

[Like water, we can be] the highest good. Water gives life to the ten thousand things, and [does not fear its courses]. It flows in places humans reject and so [creates unity]. [It is an element that] can take any form. [Water] can drift without effort one moment, then pound down in a torrent the very next [moment, as a single force]. [And yes, It is true that the efforts of those few] amount to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops?

[Now just] Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet has free access to the sum of all human [unity]. In dwelling, [we could] be close to the land. In meditation, [we could] go deep in the heart. In dealing with others, [we could] be gentle and kind. In speech, [we could] be true. In ruling, [we could] be just. In business, [we could] be competent. In action, [we would be sure to] watch the timing and the season. We may even have no reason to fight each other, and thus no reason to blame each other.

In [our] hands, my fellow [droplets], will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since [civilization began], each of our generations has been summoned to give testimony to [the greatness of life.] We’ve all wanted to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness – not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful.

Now the trumpet summons us again—not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need; not as a call to battle, though embattled we are—but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, “rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation”—a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself.

In the process of [this struggle], we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct [this struggle] on the high plains of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our [honest efforts] to degenerate into [criminal high jinks]. We must rise to the majestic heights of meeting [corrupt] force with [pure] force, [or suffer the failure of our efforts under an inequitable and desperate silence.]”

Wear Ingktrofsplection.

If I could offer you only one tip for the future,
ingktrofsplection would be I.T.
the long-term truths of ingktrofsplection
have been pontified by cause and effect,
whereas the rest of my data
has no basis MORE reliable
than my own
pweandering
Ingktrofsplective
experience.

I will dispense this data now:

Enjoy the power and B-E-A-uty of your myouth.
oh, never mind.
you will not understand the power and beauty of your myouth
until they've faded.
but trust me,
in ninetbeen years, you'll look back at thoughts of your selfse and recall,
in a way you can't grasp now,
how much pontifibility lay before you and how wubulous you really thunk.

You are not as crazy as you imagine.

don't tarry about the future.
or tarry,
but know that tarrying is as effective as trying to solve a self equation
threw hewed lying gums.

the real lies in your mind
are apt to be stings that never stung your tarried mind,
the chimes that blindside you at four A.B. on some idle Highday.

do one sting All-Ways,
even if it tears you.

LAUGH.

don't be reckless with other people's minds.
don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

PLAY.

"Don't waste time!" on jealousy fish.
sometimes you're a head,
sometimes you're beehived.
The Race is long and,
in the end,
it's only with your selfse.

remember leissons you receive.
forget the stings.
If you succeed in doing this,
tell me how.

Keep your old love let'rs.
Throw away your own stank hatements.

STRRREEEETCH!

don't feel unguided
if you don't know what you want to do with your body and mind.
the most interesting Johnnys and Suzys I know
didn't know at ninetbeen what they wanted to do with their thoughts.
Some of the most interesting fourty-two year olds I know
still don't.

get plenty of curiosity and adventure.
be kind to your mind.
you'll miss it when it’s gone.

maybe you'll tarry,
maybe you won't.
maybe you'll have wild stings,
maybe you won't.

maybe you'll dinvfoirce at 42,
maybe you'll dance the funny kick'n on your 69th forget-a-versary.
whatever you do,
don't pontificate your selfse too much,
or belay your selfse either.

your choices are flip-of-a-coin.
Read DeadHeads or Blue Tails.
So are every body else's.

ENJOY YOUR MIND AND BODY.

use them every way you can.
don't be afraid of them
or of what other minds and bodies think of them.
they are THE GREATEST instruments you'll ever own.

fae DANCE,

even if you have nowhere to do it
but your own THING-KING RooUmNE.

"No, no. By itself, confusion is not always enough.
There are occasions when Brads and Janets will up-rise against confusion,
even to the point of pure panic.
But for every one there is something unioncurable —
something that can be retemplated.

Courage and cowardice are not involved.
If you are falling from a depth
it is not cowardly to clutch at the ground.
If you have come down from way up
it is not cowardly to fill your lungs with smoke.
It is merely an Instinct which cannot be destroyed.

It is the same with the Greedy Scorpions.
For you, they are onioncurable.
They are a form of instinctual pleasure that you cannot outstand,

Their gears twist and turn, cranking tirelessly
Round the mortal coils of a mellower
Art and content of games played wirelessly.
The game boards are awash with bellowers,
Slighted pawns too bound by echo tubing
Passed around to fortunetellers frightened
By town criers trying to throw heartstrings
Of lovers obsessed with burdens lightened.
"She is trapped and he the trapper," they say.
Shall he free her and see her twist and break?
Maybe that is her choice," but not today,
Or tomorrow or the next," he risks fate.
Their goal is obvious: parting those two.
Too bad their love is a folie à deux.
