"startin" poems
Seems like
Words are failing
Maybe We should use our mouths
For other things
How about kissing?
Right there
On that part of my naval
As I brush your hair
Maybe I'll let out a little sigh
As you linger there for a while
Look up and smile
Pretty eyes got me gazing
Words may be failing but
There's other ways to speak
Your hands gently trailing
got my body feeling Weak
Self control startin to slip
Better watch my mouth
As I bite your lip
It stings
But not the way words do
No need for censorship
This mouths being used for other things
Maybe to let out a laugh,a little grin
As you make your move
To help me relax and
Leave your mark on my skin
Raising the heat
Got me craving!
Tongues may be wagging
In the morning
But ours are for tasting
So what do you say?
Mmm don't speak.
My hearts racing
Legs shaking
As you play your mouth piece
Sighhhh
And I
Might just have to pull you in tight
Might just have to have you all night
But don't worry
It's our lil secret, I won't say a thing
Words may have failed us
But mouths don't need words
To do wonderous things
;)

I'm startin' to run out of nursery rhymes
So, I made up one of my own
It's about a nearsighted plumber
That was accidently glued to his throne
Once upon a time, long, long ago
There was a plumber, who I'll call Dale
Poor old Dale had a hard time plumbing
Cause he really couldn't see very well
He'd gotten a call, "The toilet won't flush!
Please, can you come right away?"
Well, old Dale got in such a hurry
He forgot to take his glasses that day
Well, by the time old Dale had got there
The house was in quite a mess
He realized he'd forgotten his glasses
But he'd give that toilet his best
He'd not seen this since plumbing school
But then, he only saw it on a test
And by the time, he got his tools together
The water was starting to crest
He had spotted the problem right away
But remember now, he can only half see
The water was squirtin' six feet high
And poor Dale was only five foot three
He laid his glue on the toilet seat
While trying his best not to drown
He couldn't see where he put it at
And, of course, that's where he sat down
He didn't even know 'till it was too late
He'd bent over to loosen a nut
And that's when he first noticed that thing
The toilet was glued to his ****
So, if you ever need a real good plumber
He's the man for the job, without fail
And I hope you enjoyed this story
About the nearsighted plumber named Dale
I forgot tell you, there's one more thing
About the nearsighted plumber named Dale
That man still has that toilet seat
For the thing's still glued to his tail

Johnny and Mary
Now Johnny knew Mary since they were little tykes,
Running in the field, riding their bikes,
Like other little kids, they stayed out all day,
Doing their chores, later they'll play,
Johnny and Mary went to school,
Tried real hard, act real cool,
Johnny noticed Mary started to grow real fine,
Nice firm ******* big behin',
Johnny thought he'd take him a chance,
He asked Mary to the high shool dance,
Mary said fine, pick me up at eight,
Dress real sharp, now don't be late,
Johnny started thinkin' this could be his night,
Throw her a line, maybe she'll bite,
Johnny and Mary started to dance real slow,
Something in Johnny's pants, startin' to grow,
Johnny asked Mary to spend some time,
Back at my place, we can sit and unwind,
Johnny took Mary straight back to his pad,
This will be the best night, he's ever had,
Poured a little wine and dimmed the light,
Made sure everything, looked just right,
Went over to the stereo and put on a song,
Then he gave her a kiss, slow and long,
Their lips met and their tongues did a dance,
As Johnny reached down and undid his pants,
He removed hers too and went to town,
Got on his knees, he was going down,
Mary started to wiggle, moan and squirm,
As Johnny's tool got nice and firm,
A few more licks, a feel and a pet,
Mary's hole was nice and wet,
Stuck in the tip, a little poke,
Then all the way, he was startin' to stroke,
As Johnny got busy and started to ream,
All the neighbors could hear Mary scream,
Johnny got tense and was about to explode,
Into Mary he shot his load,
A few days later Mary felt real ill,
Then she remembered, she forgot her pill,
Mary gave birth to a fine looking son,
Mary's father started to clean his gun,
Johnny married Mary at City Hall,
He didn't want her dad to cut off his *****
Johnny got a job so he could provide support,
He didn't want Mary draggin' him to court,
A few years down the road things didn't seem right,
Johnny and Mary were starting to fight,
There was a whole lotta fussin' and they began to shout,
Mary told Johnny she wanted him out,
Mary got a lawyer, just passed the bar,
Now Mary's driving Johnny's brand new car.
That is the story of Johnny and Mary...Later...

All you folks in paper hats,
You think paper's where it's at.
Paper suits and paper ties,
Don't you know that paper lies?
Paper silver, paper gold,
Paper's bought and paper's sold.
Does paper have any worth?
It's just a tree cut from the earth.
Your god is Almighty Paper,
Presidents are your deal makers...
Paper lions, paper hearts,
In the end they're torn apart.
Paper tigers, paper souls,
Punch them and they're full of holes.
Paper masks and paper streamers,
All you are are paper dreamers.
Whatever happened to your returns?
Don't you know that paper burns?
Some CEO's are thieves and liars,
Out there startin' forest fires!
Where's the nest egg of older folk?
Their retirement's up in smoke!
Greed is what we're talkin' here,
And all it is is paper fear.
"Will I keep up? Is mine the best?"
They're just kids in paper vests.
*"If you don't leave my paper alone,
I'll just take my paper home..."*
Paper boats and paper toys,
For paper girls and paper boys,
Paper backs and paper chase,
'Fraid you'll lose the paper race?
Paper masks and paper schemers,
All you are are paper dreamers.
Deep inside, your spirit screams!
There's no substance to your dreams!
All you are is dust and spit?
H2O and dirt...That's it?
Don't you feel that *hole inside?
Put away your paper pride!*
What will happen when you die?
When you find it's all a lie?!
You know I'm telling you the truth.
You've wasted your life,
you've lost your youth.
If you've a question, why not ask it?
Just more paper for your basket?
Magazines, newspapers, what's in print?
More paper for the Treasury's mint?
C'mon people! Lets get real!
This is **not Let's Make A Deal!!**
Door #1, or 2, or 3?!!!
Is that how you deal with ETERNITY?
You'd better be sure you're on the dime,
Cuz eternity's a long, LONG time.
Paper wings? Or paper veils?
Paper heads, or paper tails?
Keep life in a paper cup?
Guess what?
Your time is UP.

quit dat naggin' bitch-mouth
here, have dis apple, ma piggie
and dems eyes o' yours dat shine so brite
might as well switch off dat lite
hide dem leather-hands dat look like dry branches
wat, even da desert don't win dis contest
pack dat stupid head in a box
der ain't nuttin' inside a see-through noggin
hide dem silly hopes under a hevvy sea
or bury it under da soles of yo crazi hart
take yo blasted treadin' to some udder place
some dark mine where dey can use yo help
and all dem purty words on pages yo just lurve a-spewin'
ain't no party here for fools no more
2.

pushin' dat big wave
pushin' dat big wave
I'm a-pushing back jest as hard
but dat wrestlin' wave jest a-growin'

always rockin'
gonna come crashin' rite in
*ain't no good wishing, ma beloved darlin'
so many fine dreams
running silent
in dem luvverly veins under yo kick-startin' tongue*
yah, yonder waves gonna make a breakthrough

Mix it with suicidal thoughts and depression
Feelin' just like Kurt and Nirvana

Do me just a favor and save that ****
I'm a rockstar mama
Only fragrance on me is suicidal thoughts and depression
Startin just to feel like Kurt and Nirvana

For the majority of my life I've been cared for by my parents.
Now i'm all alone trying to do this on my own
Fending for myself
Got me feeling stressed out
Popped to many Xanax
Bout to pass out
Just hit the couch and i'm startin to black out
How many did i do again?
I think i lost count
Stomachs feeling week
Feelin like i'm at the peak
Don't wanna come down
I'm so sick of the frown
Depression at its worst
Thinking that im gonna burst
Tired of being the clown
Now im searching for the crown

“Yo yo yo, welcome back to the Def Poetry Slam. Comin’ up on da stage next we got two favorites who certainly ain’t a favorite of each other… na mean, na mean? They’re both hear reppin’ the London, so give a big round for ‘Lord Bye-Bye, and Johnny Cleats’…
Yeah, yeah. You guys know the rules… get to it. Bye-Bye, you’re startin’”
He walks in Beauty, like the dawn
whose bright and crimson sun alights
So all of those around him fawn
and follow him into the night
Now I know why my friend Trelawn
does envy him with all his might
Oh no, I, am so sorry,
My mind has come to function
all of this, you see, is me
And while he’s got some gumption
aesthetic he, but hungry, Keats
only talent for consumption
“Ohhhhh! No he didn’t, no he di-in’t! Yo Cleats, get some traction on this and tear him away.”
Standing aloof in giant ignorance,
staring down from atop an ivory stool
Your title, then, will keep them in your dance
and little else, you shallow-swimming fool
You see, My Lord, and that is all you pageant
as simple work as that does a flask
My words, instead, are all that I imagine
Of that, My Lord, mine is the hardest task
*“Ohhh… well Round One’s gotta go to Bye-Bye, the audience has chosen, but… John? Johnny Boy? Hello? Where lies you, English Poet?… Can it be?… Can it be?… Ladies and Gentlemen… I think we have our first official **** in the ring. Must’ve been something we said. I guess it’s over. Bye-Bye… you got anything to say on your victory?”*
So, we’ll go no more a roving
as our battle was cut short
Just as I thought you would be atoning
for your lack of literary tort
I’m classically trained, John Dear
and a weakness of the meek:
It’s that you have a deathly fear
and cannot survive critique

When you feelin like you got nowhere to turn, think of me.
I'll be right there when you call to fulfill your every need.
And I'll be there when you fall so I'm able to stop the bleeding
I'd give my last breath so that you can you can keep on breathing.
Deep inside, to survive I know that I'd need you
So if you were gone from this earth in spirit I'd be gone too.
When you're in need of a soldier, I'll be right there to hold you
No need for startin over, I'll hold your place for you.
Never doubt that I would take a bullet to the chest
Never doubt that in my life you're above the rest.
You have the power to bring out the better part of me
And when it's down to the wire, I want you on my team.
They say you never know what you got until its gone,
But I already know what you're worth, I don't need to be alone.
Cause when I'm with you, I'm home, it doesn't matter where I am
As long as we got each other, then we got a master plan.
So take my hand, close your eyes, and through the sky we'll fly
I could be your everything as long as you'll be mine.
I would never tell your secrets, in me you can confide
Alicia Keys said we're unbreakable, cause I'm your ride or die.

*All I wanted was a night out on the town with her
With all the love and adoration that I promised her
Fitted cap on my head, felt like a trend setter
A mental slap from my momma; I should’ve known better.
Picked her up, and I was starin’ at her gorgeous outfit
Her fitted top, her cotton blouse, and lookin’ fine without it
Honored to stand beside her, I didn’t mind the clues
I found her very attractive wearin’ designer shoes
Took her out to dinner, we’re conversin’,
Lobster in citric acid – she devours, thinks it’s worth it
The in-house chef comes at our table and asks,
“This is the fifth time you’ve ordered,
So can you make this your last?”
The check is at our table; I offer to pay for it
She doesn’t even glance, pullin’ out her phone
I noticed her nails; she paid a lot for ‘em
Dinner was very painful
She wants me over? I'm startin' to see her fatal halo
On our way to her place, a man was gettin’ robbed
I’m shoutin’ at the attackers - she’s actin’ very odd
Tell her to call the cops to try and get these boys to stop,
“Sorry but I’m in a hurry! I’ll see you at the spot.”
Ten minutes later I’m racin’, and knockin’ at her door,
Reachin’ her place and I notice she’s pacin’ back and forth,
She’s on the phone with a ***** who stole her ex from her
Angry detonation soon as she got a text from her
She tells a “Jada” on the phone, ***** I don’t give a ****
Jada responds “wantin' to let you know and wish you luck.”
But you can tell that she was jealous of Jada’s position
Her ex is treatin’ her better, happy with his decision
I’m wonderin’ what happened; turns out that Jada’s pregnant
“She thinks I care about that, knowin’ that I resent him!”
She claims she’s better than Jada in every single way
With self-respect and sayin’ prayers every single day
Seekin’ some validation, she’s beggin’ for a kiss
Intimate opportunity, she’s hopin’ not to miss
Her sweet, angel hazel eyes are lookin’ sour ‘cause
I’m just exhausted and feelin’ the witchin’ hour buzz
She lashes out; I see the reason why this girl is single
Admits to cheatin’ on her ex and so she’s out to mingle
Pulls out a lash and then proclaims that I should punish her?!
I’m out the door within’ seconds cause I’m so done with her!*

*I have to be honest.
There was a time when I wondered what would become of you
Call it a sign but it’s harder to see your point of view
Wanted to know how somebody could be so cold
A woman who pays no mind sayin’ friendship is gettin’ old
Elder abuse to social interactions
And even without excuses it’s harder to see the usage
Of minutes I spent on textin’ her, mind you the reason
I’m doin’ it cause I want to while thinkin’ that I was testin’ her
But ultimately I started to know her character
Havin’ respect without knowin’ what to expect
Independence rooted in spirit, harder to scrape the fibre
Hopin’ not to admit that she’s beautiful, run it by her
The conversations we’re havin’, I’m lookin’ forward to them
I’m always checkin’ on her, I wonder why
But I’m guessin’ she thinks I’m smitten too, she might be onto somethin’
Amazin’ features, I’m thinkin’ up quite a song from nothin’
Beautiful name and I always stop to admire it
Guard her attention from lesser men who desire it
I need to know my place, happy to read what she types
Nobody’s type, yet expression of envy on my face
Force to be reckoned with, aimin' for that perfection
And I’m takin’ a second displayin’ my full affection
By writin’ this little lyrical letter, I’m feelin’ better now
I've made her curious, startin’ to feel the pressure now
A livin’ Princess in love with god’s creatures
And compared to many she suffers from odd features
But not to me cause I’m lookin’ past all the layers
Messagin’ late at night and we’re callin’ each other later
I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way
A great companion cause friendship is for another day
I’m not the type to disappear if there’s no interest
Happy to tell you - I promise that I am here to stay.*

I'm beggin', begging... really really beggin' you... not to test me
My words are infectious and I have so many tricks up my sleeve
So many different techniques to make you fold
Tired of the possibilities you hang in front of me... shit's gettin' old
And I'm sure, Oh I'm so sure you thought you had the lead,
but when you looked up all you saw was the back of me
Just watch how well I don't give a ****
What? You need an example, well here's a sample, nah better yet... a handful
I kissed you, you kissed me, I left you, you chased me
Trust, it's not how I wanted it to be
But I can't be locked in a box just cause you get lonely
People need air, people need their own time even when there's none to spare
An affectionate perfectionist, checking me in with a check list
It could only go on for so long before I would start to not give a ****
So now you wanna threaten me about tellin' people how you got the best of me
Keep it... You got the best of 5%, you never even saw the rest of me
The slander and random banter is really startin' to **** me off though
The last thing you want is to ***** with me, trust me your not ready
Embarrassment you'll bare if I open my mouth has no remedy
So... I'm beggin', begging... really really beggin' you... not to test me

Oh so tired of "AALLMOST made it"
Missin' it "by a hair"...
That I must ALWAYS miss the mark- needta know where it's been writ
Don’t mind if God’s just testing me, with that I have no quarrel
Just begta know when, this test, I'll finally pass...
Cuz
Always gittin' THIISSS close

The way I keep flowing in slow motion
got em hoping what I'm floatin
is a certain kind of motion
of the perpetual style
They say its dope but its not
its just something i use to cope
i think this sugar pill's been coated
in something i ain't had in a while
now my eyes are gettin hazy
i'm startin to feel a bit faded
these lights are bright and people are screamin
i've got a feeling
that they're wanting something from me
something to call stunning
something to call touching
but even if these words that i'm spitting
are really ugly
these two shining behind me make it lovely
then the room falls hushed
its like someone dimmed the lights
suddenly, i'm alone on the stage
me and the mic
trying to convey what i write
into speech tonight there's a
slight chill in the air
but the moon shines bright
it gives me power
helps me make sure that i rock right
excuse me, step correct
we clean up the mess and
wasted sets from the
players who came before us
that we left for dead
its like the wild wild west
though were on the east coast
you're rockin with host with the most
you didn't know?
i've got itch in my throat
but the fans won't even know
how could they?
listen to them, man
they think its dope
I know you're all waiting
to keep hearing me gloat
but gimme a sec, wont you just
let me clear my throat

i’m gonna be drunk
before i even get out this house,
kris is sleeping
not feelin’ it today
i’m drinking it
startin’ to feel it
big bass bumping outside
my windown
tall drink of water
sippin’ on her drank
she’s feeling it too
prince fielder looking
mother ****** pointing
his finger at something
across the street
not at me
someone else
maybe there will be a fight
tonight
the storms have passed,
but i can still feel them, too.

I forgot to tell you then
But here, ill tell you now
You get outside and it hits you like a brick
The humidity kills and your hands get slick
I worked out then burned out and it wasn't from no drugs
I missed his cologne and his big hard hugs
The lake and the snakes and the cake was great
I couldn't sleep those last two nights
And **** that power outage
Florida flicker n flash
I was up seein things and hearing their sounds
Baby's gon crazy
****** from the bud
Daddy, dad! I'm seein little birds!
Flyin in my line of sight, and the lights are startin to hurt!
Get back to LA and you'll be just fine
Get back to the laughs and the lights and the dry daytime

I think I'm startin' to get that feelin' again
That sinkin' sensation followed by intense anticipation of the end I feel I'm facin'
The hell my life is based in
Then I meet up with my fear of drownin'
Thoughts not safe havin' come crashin' in
Will I ever learn or is this far beyond teachin' a lesson
Up against my dark passenger, the undisputed, heavyweight champion
And the challenger, in the blue corner noticably panickin'
Just some guy with a crazy look in his eye but no business challengin' his demon
My Hyde side stays undefeated while I've never recorded a win
Bringin' my mental discipline into question
Knowin' my armor's thin
Knowin' I've already taken one to many to the chin
It's constant whisperin' drowns out everythin'
Top tier manipulation allowin' the interjection of it's own spin
On this tailspin my doomed zeppelin always finds itself in
I feel like I should mention, it's not one, it's Legion
Not a friend, it laid claim and became kingpin
I could only watch like I was fifth in a five deep bullpen
No consent given, not even a conversation
Rushed past me like I was a doorman at a Motor Inn
And I stood there silent, broken, incapable of motion
Often thoughts and feelings are left unspoken
Paralyzed with fear, just standin' here like a dollar store mannikin
Behind a display of 151 and Heineken
Made it easy for it to find it's way up under my skin
I hardly even knew what was happenin'
Now I don't know where it ends and I begin
Not sure there's any separation

You were born in a crib made of gold
I was born in a crib made of wood
You played with nice barbie dolls
I played with the mud that the rain washed up
Yet this fight is nearly startin

waves crashing
child splashing
newborn baby
growing up crazy
teenage years
mom brought to tears
boy crisist
bro's advice is
let it be
thats the key
key to her heart
then the love starts
heart get broken
she starts smokin'
slowly dieing
eyes are cryin'
begining of sadness
she stops the madness
hits adult stage
makin minimum wage
she's tryin'
still survivin'
kids of her own
livin' off a loan
but makin her way
her kids always say
no matter what, she cares
and by their side, shes there
kiss on the cheek
she don't feel weak
sick of the pain
startin' to gain
her kids grow up and in college
gettin more knowledge
she's gettin' older
but she's strong like a soldier
she lives it through till the end
before she passes all ties mend
her daughter becomes a wife
then sadly the end of mom's life

Twenty sixteen on some shrooms
Was all about them waves
In all the overcrowded rooms
Of resolution slaves
Diggin' raves
While I was ditchin'
This red solo cup existence
By filling up my head with a
Reality resistance
Through the sands of time I sifted
Back to all the wasted years
How my need for speed had shifted
From its crash and burnout gears
Sippin' beers
While I was waitin'
For my turn to dance with Satan
With my blackened liver hopes and dreams
Slowly disintegratin'
My cuckoo clock then hatched a plan
Perhaps in trippin' I would fall
In love with her and understand
The purpose of this droppin' ball
Startin' small
While I was tryin'
To ensure she'd keep replyin'
To the messages I sent
From satellites that I was flyin'
Passion then my only crime
We melted winter snows
But sparks inside my opened mind
Had wilted like a rose
Hittin' lows
While I was missing
My Lucy skylight diamond ring
Traded in for but a taste
Of the only finer thing
Obsessions made of solid gold
The price of my adventure
Possessions that I could not hold
Outweighed her sweet surrender
As it were
While I was teeming
With a world of peaceful dreaming
I overlooked the only one
That ever gave mine meaning
*And suddenly it seems that I
Am twenty seventeening*

Billie Jean is not my lover.
My dear neither are you.
I can't get over The Way You Make Me Feel.
There is nothing I can do.
If only things were Black or White,
I might not be confused.
I Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.
Boy you're giving my the blues.
Can't you see I'm a Pretty Young Thing?
Just Give In to Me.
Surely you see I'm a Supafly Sister.
Why You Wanna Trip On Me?
Maybe it's just my Human Nature.
Maybe I'm just Too Young.
Everybody's Somebody's Fool.
Just hope I'm not your one.
I just want you to Hold My Hand,
But I guess it's Much Too Soon.
It's just that you give me Butterflies.
Now I want to Rock With You.
You might think that it's Dangerous,
So you might want to be Just Good Friends.
But I think we should Come Together.
I'd be the best Girlfriend!

Mama knew since i was a fetus
My future minorities cops would beat us
Im screamin' **** they feelings
No love for the police
We used to run the streets
Now fools is scared to get beat
Face defeat
I learn from.scornful.memory
Of my 400 years oppression
Ancestry
My nigguhs aint hearin' me
To busy buyin'
******** that media sells
Smokin' blunts brains fryin'
I aint lyin'
Peep the game 48 to chose from
Dont you know you we apart of Jerusalem?
Got knowledge no longer dumb
When the war starts sound the drum
Aint no telling
Where this world is headin'
So many deep in the game
Tryna make fame and a name
Only to be buried with much shame
*******
In the hood got us insane
When it was started by Regans Gang
But i still hang
With my homies on the block
Tryna teach n preach
These brothers to stop
But **** it never fails
Always a hater on my tail
So many chasin' after dead slave master
And leavin' a grande disaster
Been cocked d since the days of elementary
Seen many brothers behind the penitentiary
But I dont worry
I gotmy mind made up
Breakin' the jaws off the Romans law
Now they wakin' up
Tryna stop me from startin' this
Revolutionary
Fools still belivin' in fairy tales
My lifes out on bail
We gotta make our own team
Intellect over cream
But it seems
We'll never come together
Too busy fightin' each other
While these muthafuckas killin' us daily
So once again will we roam
The streets ?
Are you afraid of the punk police???
Now ask ya self?

Writing poetry means a lot to me,
Its effect on me is something that others can easily see.
It makes me happy, it makes me outgoin’,
It’s so much that all of my emotions are showin’:
I mean, I’m happier than I’ve ever been,
I haven’t been this happy since I don’t even know when.
I’m not even bein’ lazy,
I swear, I’m startin’ to go crazy
I’m even able to just walk up to strangers and sing,
Don’t get me wrong, though, I’m not sayin’ it’s a bad thing.
I think that’s it’s awesome,
Cuz thanks to poetry, my life is so much more fun.
