Break The Norm
If we don't break the norm
Are we really writers?
Between characters I create and real life experiences
My mind never stops

Fast Pumped Heart
When you went out of your way to fix my uniform one day
I was shocked
You never asked anything from me before
But you did that day
Despite the awkward card on valentines day
I wonder why you did that for me
My heart couldn't of pumped any faster

Too Hesitant
I wonder if she thinks about me at all
I wonder if me being hesitant messed up my chances
Maybe she still wants me to make a move
I'll never know
Each day my heart grows
Wondering
Despite a relationship being present with her
I wonder if she still thinks about me
I may have came out too strong
With a decorated note two years ago
But I don't feel wrong
Just regretful
That I haven't made a move before you did with somebody else.
Real life story for me.

Better or Equal
They say women can't fight
Can't write good poetry
Can't create good paintings
Can't play sports
Can't work good jobs
Or do what a man does
I think they're afraid
Afraid that women might be better than them or equal in skill
Silly sexists
The world is changing
Changing for the better
I think women can influence history and the world like men can.

Dial My Number
Dial my number to say hello
So I know you're stil thinking about me
I don't say this enough
I appreciate it
Those three words should go down in history
Take that other words
Dial my number tomorrow

It's okay
It's okay
Guys should be able to marry guys
Girls should be able to marry girls
Guys and Girls can like/marry both
Girls should be able to become guys if they want
Guys should be able to become to girls if they want
I'm a straight white male
Ripping out the clichés in this ****** boring book society has written
The only concern i have is for beastialitists and necrophillacs
Now thats what we should be disgusted with
Those two aren't human
But loving the same gender or both is

Disadvantaged Potential
That kid you make fun of with a mental disorder
Has all the maps laid out
Waiting to see how life plays out
You keep laughing
Because your life will be a comedy when people laugh and point at you when you make a mistake
And you turn around to see nobody stand up for you
Yeah, it's hilarious isn't it?
You never know
Stephen Hawking made the world listen
Some of the most gifted are the the most disadvantaged
Our greatest gifts are the words of support and refusal to make demeaning behavior
Mentally disadvantaged people are as fully capable as we are, they just have it harder.

Vintage Cardboard
My life is like those vintage cardboard props of movie characters
Where I just sit there
Looking pretty
And wonder when somebody will move me
Out of this window
It's getting dusty and I see cobwebs
Really guys this isn't a joke
Guys?

Poetry is Everything
Poetry is everything to me
It's my water that I need to drink
From the Fountain of Emotions
It's the crutch I need when my heart sinks
Without it the world would be less cultured
All I need is you and enough paper to last me through the next leap year
My mind may be busy working on fictional worlds and making them come to life
But you make my world go round and round
You're my Bonny to Bonny and Clyde
Partners in Crime
Except your name is much more beautiful than Bonny
And I couldn't stand a single day separated from you
Unless we still have some way to communicate
That would be my mail in rebate
Where hearing your voice and seeing your messages sinks into my time
Meaning there was never wasted time in that sense

What I Prefer
Everytime a guy asks me what I prefer in a woman
They normally ask me if I like the front or the back
But honestly I think class is what's lacking
I don't judge a woman by her body
I think her personality is really what matters
I know we men would be angry if a girl asked another girl if she liked guys with a Maserati or a Ferrari
Not all of them are about money
That's when you know if she's really your honey
She doesn't except to take your money and run
You can get fired from your job and have your car get towed
And she'd still offer you a ride home
Isn't that funny
She wants you to get the hint and you still react like nothing has happened
Ain't it frustrating to be a girl
Not wanting to come off as desperate, but you desperately want him to see
What it could really be
Going through all the crap and still wanting to be with him
That's a real woman
That's what I want
A strong woman who puts up with my stupidity and still sticks around
With no possible reward to be found
The real jackpot is having her instead
Any woman like her is a lottery
Just make sure you treat her right
And be there for her when she's giving birth to your children
If you ask me, I wouldn't of made it so painful
But the pain is a little easier
When you're holding her hand and refusing to let it go
She'll remember that forever
Only being glad she decided to have kids with you
Just remember that when you **** her off
And you're sitting there with dozens of beer bottles on the floor with a few empty Doritos bags
Eating till you become dizzy
Regretting that you made her mad
And she let's you suffer with no response on your apology calls
We all make mistakes
But make sure letting her run away from your life isn't one of them
Basically an apprication poem from what life truly has to offer.

A Romantic's Daydream
It's the cherry smelling fragrance
That's got my worries becoming vacant
That look in your eyes makes me feel so peutrbational
Because your presence is so sensational
You doubt yourself in everything you do
But the actions you take are very astute
Sometimes beauty makes someone become mute
The gift of vision adds onto your alluring existence
A good guy has to keep his persistence
Because if he falls through the cracks
A woman won't give him slack
But a good man doesn't force his woman to respond out of subordinate regimentation
But out of humble communseration and transparent sincerity
The keys to social prosperity
That leads to your twentieth anniversary
The day that makes your history necessary
Now that I take my first few steps
I hope I don't come off as scary
If I'm delivering my heart I better be able to be the canary
Because when I think of you it's just perceptional clarity
As I look into your eyes I envision us surrounded in deep emblazon chanting "just marry me already"
Under the the mistletoe
As the snows hits the earth
I take the bite out of frost and frost out of frost
Then I snap out of my vivid daydream just to look speechless and lost
But the reflection of your cherry lip gloss complells me to speak
No matter what I won't come off as weak
I'll protect you as I speak
A day without you in my arms will be a day I must slowly cope
For the time you return is what I plan to hope
To each of their own
I hope you'll be my own
As I slowly reiterate reality into my conscious
I keep my heart cautious
Praying that I played the right card
And to win the blessing of being part of your endlessly flawless presence
This poem is in the perspective of a boy who badly wants a girl but never actually makes a move. He predicts things really far ahead because he's emotionally relentless and passionate. It's one of my favorites.

Improv
This is a improv poem
As vibrant and vivacious as a brand new totem
My luck feels like a bad game of Texas Hold 'Em
Instead of picking up the cards I fold them
The moon is covered in clouds when I walk out on the porch
Letting my presence sink like a dying torch
I'm not the one who rides on self pity
But I'm the lonely beggar drowning in the city
Barely making it
I can swear to you I'm not faking it
Everything that happens in my life
Should not contuine in my offspring
For they only know unity and peace
Until I send them off into this world
Where people are hanged and ******
For being the ones who want to live freely
As I know times are tough
I must not get my hands too rough
I must make sure the water is just right and my tone is prestine
So they can comprehend why I'm intently serene
So they can remember my words
So that they can swing the sword
With only thier words
For that they can become much more ambitious than other kids in their generation
And seize the hearts of a nation
They could become beloved sensations
That would be my greatest iteration
God bless me for that I've loved
Will bless me with the most beautiful people the Earth could possibly have standing
Taking after their mother
Who is my queen of the kingdom I so want to return to
As life is the opposing men capturing me and keeping me in their cold, lonely, prison.
This poem was done by improv. I really honed my skills at coming up with poems out of the whim. It's a beautiful skill.
