Tried and now might........
Michael Hill Aug 2018
Numbing sends me crashing to pieces,
lungs fill up before I can scream,
light diminishes into darkness,
substance entered but refuses to release.

Colors now white flashes,
blood dips beneath my chest,
nobody's coming i have no contacts,
only my mothers ashes.

In my mind walls keep me bound,
with water soon to drown,
messed up broken needs a fix,
gotta break this glass so confound.

As water starts to over submerge,
a pulse breaks the glass setting me free,
opening my eyes these people standing before me,
weeping a funereal they all have to purge.

Still cannot speak but now can cry,
knowing people actually care,
never again shall I take a substance,
that costed me a near a goodbye.

For this next to me is a plug,
which might end up getting pulled,
even with my eyes open,
without movement they might just be misunderstood.
it's from a song i really like

Aubrey
Michael Hill Jul 2018
Punished misery infused,
little Aubrey misguided disowned,
cursed left alone never engaged,
heard seen comes all end

Crying transcends a wave,
sending madness beyond comprehension,
bodies upon bodies swell in,
as laughter arouses between,

Trapped could hands bound
feeding a plate always full
silence never comes
little Aubrey a beast in carnage

Find Me
Michael Hill Jun 2018
Black ink melted by the side in the road
tiny puddle trickles along
draining any message or words to decode

Only an unopened box still wrapped in a bow
footprints dug out of dirt just walking away
singing coming from inside brings tears to the soul

Showers bury a gift connected to another
blanketing with fog eerie howl shout from a far
moonlight glows red peeking in written words my lover my lover

Music continues from where It may
still roaming unattached who was or is
Many years to pass will they finally lay

What is love
Michael Hill Apr 2018
Watching from a distance,
for devil hands keep me from escaping,
this dead full tide of unhappiness.

One chance failed on my behalf,
lied degraded turned everything to ruble,
why oh why did i let these sins persuade me.

As you suffered after taken the blows,
forced to o see who i truly am,
now i sit watching your endless suffering.

Yet i still cant drop an emotion,
thou sadden inside my heart,
if i ever see you again still can never say I'm sorry.

If only
Michael Hill Apr 2018
Why can't unicorns be real
Why do parents play make-believe
So happy we were as children
Until a rusted locke was uncovered
Slowly anything from our stories we read
Never took us to our fanatasies ever again
now where did our one horned friends go
they were thrown down a bottomless pit
Since our minds would never again accept them as real
to this day it level us in sadness unbroken

Black bird
Michael Hill Apr 2018
Ever so gently approaching
swinging wing by wing,
ready to feast black bird,
humming herself by a glide.

Suddenly caught in high winds,
unable to land by far,
swoop away from grazing
poor black bird sent away.

Food lays curdled sinking beneath,
Fast coming in dives blackbird,
looking for a feast which has gone away,
left hungry sad and frozen.

Barely able to stand,
feet sinking down down down
fly away black bird fly away,
on the ground she lies poor soul.

Calling life
To pull me out
Gutter trash
I have been drowned

Difficulties are my pain
******* force from with in
Pulling strings forcing me
keeping still downing gin

I don't know why or how
no one sees whats this is all about
Struggling sealed off
Out of time everything and god has shut me out
took me a half hour of thinking to come up with this

Trista
Michael Hill Jun 2017
Stranded left to wallow
In a storm destructive path
Trista Destiny my sister
I hope to see or hear your voice again

Trapped by self inflicted wounds
after being tossed aside
dripping life out of her body
hoping to undo this hurt

Waters stir silent
grass whistles
rain begins to spit
Trista lies lifeless soaking in wet among-st these daffodils

Winds pick up collecting debris
as it ***** her up with all
to this day she has never been found
even after the storm

Good by Trista Destiny
who could have ever broken your heart
everyone is praying and hoping
to hear your voice one day call out

Michael Hill Jun 2017
Calling my husband
speak to me a voice
blood moon arise
come out the void

Passion
intense feeling
are those your hands
or coldness going up the spine

Could you be stroking my neck
whispering to me
our final words
this over whelming sense of arousement

I know I only have one night to be with you
as long as my eyes are closed you can never leave
blood moon red sky at night
powers you dwell stopped my grief of the demise

Duck
Michael Hill Oct 2016
A duck can drink and walk
but can he catch a fish and fly
we're about to find out

after getting drunk that night
he stumbled inside
a police station full of cops

the duck started slurring his words
blacked out with his **** in the air
he was so drunk the fish was in the other end

the police are puzzled what to do
so they stuck him in a zoo
until the duck starts acting like a duck

Forever in pain
Michael Hill Oct 2016
Sweet little Arial
came home to find her mother lying on the floor
she gave her a shake
pushed on her chest
but nothing woke her up.

So she laid in her arms
started to cry
as  Arial  spoke these words.

"Hold me mama
don't leave me
I'll stay right here by your side
as long as I am here
your soul can not depart
stay away from the light"

But as the hours went
her mothers skin went cold
her arm pulled away.

Arial stayed laid with her mother
until she was taken away and laid down to rest
never will she feel her mothers touch again
forever she will feel the pain

Inside a bottle
Michael Hill Jul 2016
A bottle in hand
get tossed to sea
floating with the currents
taken to the ocean by a breeze
in the bottle something awakens
hands touch the glass
little eyes open
to find she's trapped
screaming out loud
only whispers enter the air
where is she going
as the ocean can take her anywhere
as the night dawns upon
the ocean waves stand still
A phoenix comes down
gabbing the bottle
again taking flight
little girl closes her eyes in fright
As the Phoenix places the bottle down
looking at each other threw the glass
with one ****** of the Phoenix's beak
the bottle shatters the girl is free
tears in her eyes she looks
before jumping into the phoenix arms
a burst of light brightens
both of them are gone

A young man sitting on his porch over looking his garden
lowers his head in sadness as he sees nothing has grown
no food on his table
no more seeds to try again
he spent all of his money to make his dream come true
but failed once again
inside his girlfriend is watching him closely
sneaks outside with a growing formula all her own
pours it on the plants making sure everyone is soaking
then seeks back into the house quietly closing the door
he stays outside falls asleep on his chair
waking up the next morning as he just stares
all of his plants have started to begin sprouting
was it something in the air
the girlfriend looks out and sees a smile on her boyfriends face
it's nice to see that he's is happy once again

Have you ever wondered what it's like to catch a cloud
to lasso it drag it down
pour some dye to change its color
let it back up to let it rain
to watch the color falling out of the sky
but that ll be what ever the color is of dye
or so somebody might think
one day this will be done but for now we just have to wait
my brothers and family laughed when i told them this

Michael Hill Jun 2016
this car she  had was red a blood
had a 60's radio built in
with a lard steering wheel to bout
when going up hills my mother would go 120
to clean out the engine like she would do every morning
but then something tragic happened
it was gutted through and though
had scratches all around the outside
i didn't want this to be true
it turned out my ex had destroyed my car
he even had *** in it with another woman i found out
this car was my baby my pride and joy
it was a 1967 mustang which is no more

....Hmm
Where am I
It's damp cold and dark
my head is pounding
I'm feeling dizzy
and can barely walk
i see someone with a flashlight in hand
she holds arms out for me to grab hold
then pulls me up
walks me out to her car
as she drives me home
walking with her up the stairs
she tucks me into bed
while she shuts the door i fall asleep
until the next morning begins

Knife in your hand blood on your cloths
Walking around dazed knowing nothing at all
Chains on you feet scraping when as you walk
Moving your mouth but unable to talk
Stitches on your head scars no your palms
Not knowing what had happen to you or how you made it this far
You hear sirens in the distance
You see people looking at you
frustrated knowing that there is nothing you can do
The police show up draw there guns as they yell freeze
You wanna stop but keep moving in disbelief you try to yell out
What ever was done to you made it so you couldn't say or do nothing at all
A shot can be heard as you feel a sharp pain
Falling to your knees in you mind screaming in pain
You can hear you last breathe as your eyes roll to the back of your head
One of the cops come over and with the people watching pronouncing you dead
Who ever did this to you is still rooming the streets
Praying on his next victim who will it be......

Baby Come home
Michael Hill May 2016
In bed I wait for darling to come home

Wondering if he is alright or alone

I stare at the cling with tears in my eyes

Wondering if I could make alone another night

My darling is still gone and I want to here his voice

Its been a long time since we both made a choice.

He left in the morning and never came home

I waited and watched and stared at the door

Hoping to here his foot steps once more.

Come home come home I miss you so much

My love and my darling I need your warm touch

A week has gone by and I'm left here alone

Where is my darling oh baby come home

I'm crying and weeping I'm losing my self

Is it true that he's never coming home

The door the door I here it , it opens

My baby my baby he's home I know it

I jump to my feet and run into his arms

I cry and I cry on his arms big and tight

Baby I so glad you finally home tonight.

Lesson Learned
Michael Hill May 2016
I'm a little fish with big green eyes
i bit on something that i thought was food but was a lie
i tugged as hard as I could to get the food off the hook
but got it stuck in my mouth and was pulled out of the water
then A nice young lady pulled the hook from my mouth
Held me up to her face and with a smile let me go
now I'm free again and learned my lesson we'll
don't bite the food if it looks like it's on a hook

this fridge is empty
nothing to fill it
light's on but there is no need
just like you life
you feel the same way
every night it's the same thing
all alone no hand to hug you
no one to tell you how pretty you look
as you head up stairs to go to bed
there's a knock at you door
you turn around not sure to answer it
waiting to her the knocking again
as the second knock is heard you run down the stairs
opening the door you see this we'll dressed man standing at you door step
with a bokeh of flowers a ring in the other hand
you look at him puzzled
until you notice the empty feeling fading away
you heart feels warm your skin lights up
there's a bright smile lighting up your face
you let him in then close the door
as he comes around and gives you a kiss
you put both hands around his chest
he does the same with his other two
the lonely and emptiness that was once there
is replaced with love a ring and a kiss
she is no longer her empty fridge

Forever now broken
Michael Hill May 2016
in your room all alone
curled up in a ball
rocking back and forth
telling yourself there's nothing wrong

But then there's a noise
As your closet door creaks open
you rock a little faster
not seeing this hand that is coming

slowly creeping on the bed
pulling your blanks down
the hand is getting closer
now your freaking out

you jump off the bed but stumble
falling face first on the floor
the hand gets down it gabs your leg
it pulls you to the closet door
you start to wake up and scream

before the your pulled in
as the closet shuts it doors
you punch you scream
you claw at the door
as the hand pulls you in further

crying and scared
pulled down a flight of stairs
you are sat up on a chair
the hand it moves away

but something else comes forward
it tries to sneak up toward you
then covers your eyes with it's hands
still crying in fear you ask to be spared
then hear a strange voice

a light gets turned on
your hear somebody stand in front
as the hands move away from you eyes
you see your brothers standing there
laughing at how much you got scared
lowering your head you feel ashamed

your brothers were wrong
they should not have done this to you at all
thanks to them you'll never look at them the same
when then unbound you you walk away
back the way you came

opening the door you came in before
no longer the same person anymore
your brothers have taken your pride
broken you inside
changed the course of the rest of your life

which makes you wanna cry
his hand touches yours
they lock together
as your face just let the feelings go
tears begin to fall
your cheeks puffed up
as you cried like a child
this new born of yours brought out something in you
you've never seen
then you kissed his head
as you laid him to bed
then went into the next room to sleep
then closed you eyes tight
dreamt of his life
as your baby slept threw the night
a smile on his face as his light filled the room
keeping him safe

where time itself will never ends
no air to breathe no gravity to be had

just blackness darkening your eyes
as you drift further out
you pass the planets and there moons
as years pass you begin to see
these tiny stars grow
eventually glowing so bright
your eyes can hold no more
as you continue drifting though space
not time
you begin to break apart

for space can't die like everything else
it will live on forever

Stephie and grandma
Michael Hill May 2016
There was a girl named Stephie who loved her grandma
when she visited every day
when her grandma would leave
she would begin to cry
until she would see her grandma again
when Stephie girl went out to the yard
she saw this flower growing strong
she picked it up kept it safe
to give her grandma came by again
she saw her mother pack the car
were going to grandmas house instead
so Stephie ran and jumped in
making sure she had the flower in her hand
when they got up to the house the rang the bell
Stephie held the flower up in the air
until a nasty hornet landed on the flower
then gave Stephie a big big sting
she watched the flower break apart
the pedals fall and spread all across the door
as grandma opened up Stephie began to cry
for her flower she got her grandma dead
her tears were falling down her hand had swollen up
as grandma brought her inside
when she was sat up against the sink she held up her hand
with the stem of the flower that was left.
grandma smiled gave Stephie a kiss
then told her what she would do
"I'm gonna plant this outside water it everyday until the flower grows a knew"
Stephie stop tearing gave her grandma s smile
as she watched her owey disappear
they hugged each other tight before her mother said goodnight
then went home the mother asked if she was ok
Stephie smiled said everything is fine
grandma is going to make a new flower grow
she kept the smile on her face
sat and began to think how everything is now ok

Your mind
Michael Hill May 2016
there's a world all around that is nothing as it seems
what we see may not be there or is it our mind in disappear
rivers of colors flow, as golden fish jump out of the pond as they begin to freeze
the clouds are sliver  the sky is pink
this cannot not be real or so we think
the more we see we cannot believe
as it start to rain falling leaves
they hit the ground and grow into trees
being confused you continue you decide to walk
to the ocean to see the sea
but the water in the ocean is not what you think
it  is soft like wiped cream and has cherries floating that are pink
you mind must be having a melt down
or your eyes need to get fixed
because something  must be playing  a weird kinda trick
then you see you brain up in the air
you try to catch it but it looks at you with a stare
so you  grab a ladder and climb on up
take hold of your brain as you wake back up
on the couch you sit up
as you look out into the sky
everything is back to normal
then you let out a relieving sigh
for you will never know what caused this
all you can do is be more careful next time

Taking pictures
Taking a picture frezzes a moment in time
can it be changed
can it be what you heaven will be
showing us what our mine sometimes forgets
every once in a while something appears in an image that isn't normally there
like a ghost of a figure or a bright shinning light
could it be that someone is keeping an eye on us to keep us on a straight past
who knows it's still unexplained till this very day
taking a picture of the once we lose
preserves the person we love the moment before they are taken from us in a blink of an eye
makes us feel they are with us for the rest of our lives
with these pictures we see just how our lives turn out
to give us a chance to see if we have turned out to be the person we wanted to become
or to give us a look at our lives to see if we can change and turn it all around
when we get married an have kids in our lives
we take there pictures so that they can watch themselves grow up on year at a time
so they have a chance to change everything in the course of there lives
or keep it as it turned to what they wanted it to be
then they will have they own kids one day and it starts all over again

she smiled before her breathing had stopped
i turn on my side to grab her hand witch was ice cold
i get out of bed to look at her face
shocked to see her eyes not closed and her smile frozen
grabbing her shoulder i look at her watch
the time was 2:15am when her time had passed
the ambulance came rolled her into the van
looking my eyes water seeing her being taken away
i hold on to this shirt holding it tight
my memories i want to keep forever
i only want the memories of my wife and our life

A Mothers Wrost Day
Michael Hill May 2016
Walking with your rod in hand
Across this rocky ridged path
To get you your favorite fishing spot
Where you stay until it begins to get dark

When you try to stand up
You realize if to slippery to walk
But you need to cross it to get to your car
So you have no choice but to move on

Wishing you didn't come to this spot
The darker it gets the harder it is to walk
Then you come to this odd looking rock
You think you can cross it with out getting hurt

But when you do you slip and you **** lands on it's curve
You try to get up but cry in pain
You yell for your son to come help you as fast as he can
He runs over to you and grabs your hand

As he pulls you up with all his might
You've never let pain like this in all your life
You try your best to walk off these rocks
But in your head you want to push your self off

To drift in the sea and let the water take you away
But he keeps hold of your hand and forces you on you way
It takes 10 long minutes to get to the car
When you get in to the drivers seat you balling your eyes out

Since the fall it's gotten worse you back has now gone
You can barely walk a block with out your feet going numb
You now have a can to balance your self out
Your disliked are now all pushed out

You've tried every kind of treatment with out any success
And you have no idea what your going to do next
What you need is to get your back fixed up
Or soon you won't be able to walk at all

Holding On Tight

outside there's a mist
white like snow it covers all
air so thick we you can not breathe
eyes are blinded we need to flee
except our homes we can no longer see
so to be safe we take each others hands
so no one is left a stray
me crawl on our hands and knees
so not to trip on what we can not see
for we have no eyes to help us guide
we need to hurry to get inside
for the air is getting thicker by time
if we stay out much longer we will die
so everyone uses there hands to feel as we crawl
under the mist we have to bare just a little more
one of us is bound to fine his home
as a tug is felt on my arm
I grab hold of my partners hand as hard as i could
as we are dragged in we can feel the warmth
the air is clear our eyes can see once more
as we get up we can see who it was
who pulled us to safety admist the fog
it Jeniffer she found a home
pulled us in as quickly as she could
we are so grateful we hug her with joy
for we can wait it out and then go home
until then lets gather round
to get to know each and everyone

The King
Michael Hill May 2016
A knight dressed in his suit and  armor
grabs his sword and throws it into the air
hoping to get the light to hit it
to see where he must turn
as the sword go up it misses the light
instead in falls into the sea
for him this means it'll be his final battle
against the army to the east

he heads back home  to gather his army
but he finds his army has fled
So he gets back on horse
heads to his castle to get ready for the  final fight
he grabs his  sword holding it tight
he's gonna fight this war alone
his army they ran as fast they can
but for him he's keeping his honor and pride

off he rides to where his destiny lies
for he knows whats in store
if he shall die he's lived a honorable life
he continues his journey on
as he arrives at town
An army stands  with to many to count
He just laughs out loud holds up his sword
they begins to take the charge

he runs into them fast
swings his sword front and back
taking as many as he can with what he has
then an arrow strikes his heart
he keeps his smile as he fights on
until 2 more hit his chest
he takes his last breath
as he falls off his horse

with his final breaths
he just laughed then said
at least I die with peace
for I did not run I continued on
I fought for everything I believe
just like that he was gone in a flash
he died with honor and his pride
for this is a king who believed in destiny

as he wants me to pray to him
he wants me to ask him for help
to get rip of this curse he gave

even thou I'm hurting
i will not pray to him

Michael Hill May 2016
yes are closed
every things blank
ears are open
nothing to hear
they step
but do not move
the take a breath
but do not breathe
for they have not been given the sense they need
to be given the life of that opportunity

Love loss ife
Michael Hill May 2016
I write this letter with the blood from my hands
the love you have given me is fading away
for I will not be here when of if you return
I love you I love you but my time is at hand
you were the love, the one that stole my heart
when I saw you that day reading a book in the park
you lowered the book and stared in my eyes
I stared right back at you then we both realized
that this must be love for our hearts intertwined
as we walked to each other we did not look away
we gave each other a smile then locked our lips and kissed away
this was the day the start and the end
when I knew this love was never going to end
when our souls touched togeather a piece of you was left in me
so if you were ever to leave I would always  be with you and you in my dreams
the day you left I let you go to pursue you dreams
I wasn't going to hold you back that would have been selfish and truly mean
for I knew you would someday come back for me
but now it's been years without a word
every night I pray for your return
the waiting has caused me to age
it has now destroyed my once beautiful face
my soul is growing week
without you losing its grip
soon I will fall I will be gone
so I'm writing this farewell
you are my love I will love nobody else
you kept me going you kept me strong
I drement of you every night
wishing for you to come back every night
so now as I lay here in bed I finish and I close it to send
I give to the nurse by my side
she takes away to send it to you my love my life
for my last dying breath, I say I love you as I pass away

Blackness
Michael Hill May 2016
blackness comes fourth
light is no more
with nothing to see
no place where it's safe to go
it's like been buried alive
but when you try to scratch your way out
there's no box keeping you in
it's like your in a black void
one that no matter how far you try to run
you'll never reach the end

forever love
Michael Hill May 2016
On top the ocean
like a shadow moves
Mirrored a reflection
two people hands together
Holding tight
bonded forever
Souls are one
riding the ocean
Hands unbroken
Love forever
Entirety
Michael Hill May 2016
along a road walks a woman in black+
her dress torn her gloves stained
from the tears of her broken heart
her ring is ****** her eyes wet as a waterfall
her love one is gone and with it her soul
her feet are blistered from the road she's walked so long
it been 3 long years since the last time she been home
there is nothing there but memories she wants no more
her life is taken form her forever she's no more
with every step her foot prints stay
leaving sadness for people who pass this way
this broken woman who has no soul
what would you do if you had nothing at all
to this day she is seen walking alone
wearing her torn black dress leaving sadness where ever she goes

Peace
Michael Hill May 2016
quiet so peaceful
close your eyes just to dream
like a feather floating
as if you are being rocked quietly to sleep

Little Creature
Michael Hill May 2016
up on a tree top
high in the sky
lives a bright little creature
with big bulgy eyes
coming down once a week
gathering food for it's nest
It makes sure to be quiet
for there's enemies ahead
looking every direction
that the way, it be clear
he runs to the woods to get the food that's so dear
making sure to step lightly
no sound to be made
when he gets to his spot
gathers all that he can
of a sudden, a sound
sees red eyes coming nigh
runs as fast as he can
to his home up the tree
the beast almost caught him
he's right to his feet
so before the beast grabs him
he gets to his tree
makes a leap to the top branch
then into his home
another day done
food, work and play
tis the life of said creature
for good or for nay
