May 2016
rocking your new born holding him tight
as the little guy stairs into your eyes
he opens a smile lets out a laugh
which makes you wanna cry
his hand touches yours
they lock together
as your face just let the feelings go
tears begin to fall
your cheeks puffed up
as you cried like a child
this new born of yours brought out something in you
you've never seen
then you kissed his head
as you laid him to bed
then went into the next room to sleep
then closed you eyes tight
dreamt of his life
as your baby slept threw the night
a smile on his face as his light filled the room
keeping him safe
