I come from the dust,
once a part of a star,
A spark in the infinite,
a whisper from afar.

Each little piece,
scattered, set free,
Aiding the birth
of what’s yet to be.

From the fire of the cosmos,
to the earth's gentle fold,
I carry the stories
the universe told.

Now, as I breathe,
as I dream, as I grow,
I weave the great tapestry
in the threads that I sew.

A fragment of stardust,
yet whole in my place,
I am both the fleeting
and eternal embrace.

The Mountain
Kasansa Kuya Nov 24
From afar, it appeared so small,
So small, in fact, that I could not make out any details.
With every step, a new detail emerged,
With every breath, new energy converged.

A stone’s trip disrupted my journey
Towards the mountain.

Anger forced me to my knees,
My muscles atrophied,
The coming winds resisted my actions.
Lightning struck close to me,
The thick morning fog blinded me,
My nights were restless and full of terrors.

Time passed regardless of action
During the journey
Towards the mountain.

Failure was certain either way:
To fail while trying or to not move further.
Yet with every step, power returned.
The lightning illuminated the path,
The fog sharpened dull focus,
Restful nights restored lost intuition.

Certainty returned on the journey
Towards the mountain.

At the apex,
The starting point seemed so small—
So small, in fact, that I could not make out any details.
With a thought, every detail emerged.

Expansion

Eternal peace,
The big bang happened.
Somthing new,
To reclaim what was missing, the goal.

First glimpses,
Then stories,
Then I.

What I built
Kasansa Kuya Mar 27
I built it with wisdom
So that it may survive criticism
I built it with caution
So that it may retain perfection

My love saturated in every action
Every pain , impending completion, erased
Due to this fatal attraction
Every piece Harmoniously placed

And finally I rest
Seeing your immaculate function
Shall I run a test?
To temper your reactions
Completion, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

far past the horizon
is where I wanted to go
The day was ending
and there was still much I did not know.

Without caution,
I planned my trip.
Without distraction,
I was ready to skip.

In twilights arms the memories came back
as all my years put me in a trance.
Readiness to embark on a journey without caution or distraction and a strong desire for freedom and discovery

What does blue look like to you?
if your blue was my red
and your red was my blue
We may be looking at the same thing.
differently,
We may have favored the same color.

Perhaps you don't look up
because the afternoon skies seem dark
or you don't visit the park
because a field of flowers
doesn't unburden your heart

is it true?
Quite impossible to tell
I cannot see you like the leaf sees the branch
or the coral in the sea
Such a connection is severed at birth.
I think we can agree

This is why silence is truth
because nothingness is unchangeable
it is a place where the mind begins
where we build our being
with the things
taught to us
in order to enable
or disable
I need to find somebody who sees blue
the same way I do

all my love
Kasansa Kuya Jun 2020
dear sweet 爱 I miss you
I can see you perfectly now.
But was shockingly blind when you were near
to lend a loving ear or shake my heart to tears

why does my heart expand at the thought of you
as if I would promise you everything
when I could give you nothing

I would sit by you
serenaded by your that voice
your simple  elegance that,
that couldn't be demonstrated
by nonother than you

show me how to love you
I will cling to you as the earth clinging to the sun
so that we may
one day
give it another run
shine on me once more
