Alone and afraid,
she grabs for a knife;
Depression will end,
this twelve-year old's life.
-
She places the blade,
against her small wrist;
Makes a small incision,
she could not resist.
-
She watches the blood;
as it runs down her arm;
She just can't go on,
they've done too much harm.
-
Her mind flashes back,
to a time and a place;
When they left her defiled,
and they made her ashamed.
-
She pushes down harder,
'til the blade meets the bone;
'Tis the only way,
she could escape from her home.
Poetress2 Dec 2019
I checked my mail, the other day;
And I found a letter,
from far away.
-
My Heavenly Father,
from up above;
Sent it to this Sinner,
of whom He loves.
-
"Dear Child,
I'm writing this to you,
in hopes that you'll be writing soon;
I wanted to tell you,
so many things;
And my love for you,
will endure anything.
-
I wish you wouldn't, worry so much,
about your Salvation, your fears and such.
-
Just lay your problems,
at my feet;
I'll gladly take them,
to set you free.
-
Before I close,
I want to say;
Come to me,
when e'er you stray.
-
Now set aside,
your worries and doubts;
For that is what,
I'm all about."

The Devil and all of his Demons,
were having a meeting one night;
Satan scratched his pointy head,
"What shall we do with the Christ?
~
All of my plans become ruined,
everytime this God-Man comes near;
He heals the blind, so they can see,
and restores the deaf ones to hear.
~
He causes quite a calamity,
when He wins another lost Soul;
It feels like Hell is crumbling,
it's beginning to take a toll.
~
And everytime we come face to face,
His name makes us flee in pain;
Don't want to go near Him again,
'less He binds us all up in chains.
~
I think we can finally win this war,"
Satan said with a laugh and a grin;
"We'll win the Souls of His mighty Saints,
and He'll ne'er bother us again."
~
Now Jesus heard all they had said,
and He shouted to them through the door;
Now Satan, and all of your Demons,
I command you all to come forth!
~
Be gone with you, oh wicked ones,
'less I cast you into the Swine;
Don't ever mess with my children,
those ones whom I call "Mine."

My cruel, grouchy old Mother-In-Law,
is a sight for sore eyes to see;
Save your money at the Circus,
'cause to look at her is free.
~
She's really not that hideous,
in her very own, special way;
What hair that hasn't fallen out,
has certainly turned gray.
~
But dare you have to live with her,
she becomes an old Batalax;
Yet she always feels much better,
when she gets her Mustache waxed.
~
She does have a few, good qualities,
but overall, she's awfully mean;
That's why for Christmas this year,
we bought her Vaseline.
~
We greased up her 'ole toilet stool,
then we greased it up some more;
She slipped right off, and hit her head,
and her teeth slid under the door.
~
She didn't care for that at all,
no sir, not one little bit;
For when she fell, her wig flew off,
and she cut her bottom lip.
~
But I guess we're cruel to her as well,
for we never allow her to date;
When night time comes, we lock her up,
'lest Bigfoot wants to mate.
~
I could go on for days on end,
about how bad she's been;
But now I have to stop right here,
'cause there's no ink left in my pen!
This is my Mother-In-Law's favorite poem I wrote about her.  She carries a copy in her purse, and reads it to strangers.  Lots of love Mom.
Poetress2 Dec 2018
I'll proclaim it from the Mountain tops,
I'll proclaim it by the Sea;
That Jesus Christ, lived and died,
to set His Captives free.
~
I'll proclaim it to the multitudes,
I'll proclaim it to the few;
That Jesus came, to heal the lame,
and give His life for you.
~
I'll proclaim it to the wealthy,
I'll proclaim it to the poor;
That Jesus Christ, shed His blood of life,
to forgive our sins e'er more.
~
I'll proclaim it to the weary,
I'll proclaim it to the strong;
That Jesus lived, free from sin,
not once did He do wrong.
~
I'll proclaim it to the Saintly,
I'll proclaim it to the unsaved;
That the blood He shed, for you my friend,
was the saving grace He gave.
~
I'll proclaim it during the daytime,
I'll proclaim it during the storm;
That if you want Him, to enter in,
He'll become your friend and Lord.

Depression plagues this woman,
who can't find the strength to move on;
Stuck inside this Rabbit's cage,
exactly where she belongs.
~
She feels like her heart's been broken,
it's is damaged and torn to shreds ;
"Snap out of this sadness you're feeling,"
is what all her loved ones have said.
~
She wishes it were that easy,
but she can't control her moods;
She's tucked away in misery,
in the corner of her bedroom.
~
No happiness dwells within her,
no excitement does she ever feel;
No smile you'll see upon her face,
"Maybe this nightmare is real?"
~
She's everything she's hated,
everything that she has become;
And if she strays too far away,
back to the Cage she will run.

No one knows the Me I am,
I wish they'd truly understand;
I'm full of love and sympathy,
but they don't see, these things in me.
~
I'm easy going and quiet at times,
for anyone, I'd lay down my life;
A blessing I do long to be,
I truly love Humanity.
~
I want to fulfill, my God's plan,
a purpose for the me I am;
I'm nice to everyone I meet,
though they may not, be nice to me.
~
I am, by no means, cruel at all,
even though I do have many faults;
I try to treat everyone so kind,
I'll always have the extra time.
~
I'm ordinary, not much to me,
I'm simple in the ways I think;
I will stand up for what is right,
and won't back down from any fight.
~
I think this sums up who I am,
I'm not that good, but I'm not bad;
I pray for everyone I know,
and wish the best, where e'er they go.
~
Poetress2 Apr 2019
I once had no direction,
I felt so very lost;
My sorrow came with a price,
my misery, with a cost.
~
I longed to find a purpose,
in this crazy world I lived;
A place where I belonged,
somewhere that I fit in.
~

Then one day I met the Lord,
Forgiver of men's sins;
The One who truly loves me,
the One who helps me live.
~
I asked Him to forgive me,
I asked Him in my life;
He then became my Savior,
and I became His Bride.
~
Jesus is my Lord of Lords,
I gave everything to Him;
He laid His life down for me,
and washed away my sins.
Poetress2 May 2019
God stepped down from His mighty Throne,
to become Christ in the flesh;
His mighty love for all mankind,
assured He'd do His best.
-
Some men truly loved Him,
there were those who turned away;
It has always been like this,
up to this very day.
-
Jesus healed the sick and deaf,
He made the blind to see;
He shed His blood for all the World,
and died for you and me.
-
By the acceptance of His blood,
t'was His greatest sacrifice;
Those who accept His gift,
will go to Paradise.

She sits in the Doctor's office,
with one thing on her mind;
To rid herself of this Fetus,
so she can go on with her life.
~
Her dreams would all be ruined,
if this child were to be born;
She just can't let that happen,
thus she decides to Abort.
~
They call her back to a room,
she follows the Nurse's lead;
Gently she lays on the bed,
then sees the ******* machine.
~
Her mind is filled with doubt,
"Am I making a huge mistake;
The baby isn't even alive,
get a grip, for pity sakes."
~
Then the Doctor enters the room,
he is really quite polite;
Inside of her, he inserts a tube,
and she squeezes her eyes tight.
~
But deep within the occupied Womb,
the Fetus flinches away;
As the hose begins to tear apart,
how and what it may.
~
Then it grabs onto her tiny hand,
no longer a thumb to ****;
The baby's eyes are filled with tears,
for the pain is just too much.
~
Little by little, it tears her apart,
no one can hear her screams;
But parts of her pass through the tube,
thanks to that horrid machine.
~
Her tiny head is the last to go,
donned in curly, black hair;
She's simply but a memory,
Mama's product of an affair.
Poetress2 Oct 2019
Nestled in her Mother's womb,
she's beginning to run out of room;
She ***** her thumb without a clue,
of what is coming very soon.
-
To a clinic tomorrow, her Mommy will go, where she will be, ****** through a hose;
This child did not have a choice,
this child did not have a voice.
-
The day arrives when she will die,
the Doctor has at last arrived;
It's not too late to change her mind,
and on the wall, the clock chimes nine.
-
A hose is inserted,
inside the womb,
it will all be over very soon;
The child winches away in pain,
her suffering is her Mother's gain.
-
Each piece of this child,
is ****** right out,
no one can hear her cries and shouts;
  The tears in her blue eyes can't be seen,
thanks to the horror,
of that ******* machine.
Poetress2 Dec 2019
The four month old Fetus,
asleep in the Womb;
Is quite unaware,
that her life will end soon.
-
She was the result,
of a one night stand;
The pain that she'll feel,
she'll ne'er understand.
-
The hose from the ******* machine,
grabs onto her hip;
The tears from her pain,
signifies it's
been ripped.
-
She flinches away,
as it grabs her left leg;
It pulls it apart,
in a cold fit of rage.
-
The child's heart,
ceases to beat;
All from the actions,
of that ******* machine.
Poetress2 Mar 2019
When I'm sad and lonely,
I go to God in prayer;
I know that He will hear me,
in His Throne Room, He is there.
~
I cast my cares upon Him,
and He listens intently;
He cares about my burdens,
as I cast them at His feet.
~
When my heart is broken,
I go to Him in tears;
"Hush now, my dear child,"
as He takes away my fears.
~
This is how I live my life,
taking one day at a time;
Just knowing God is there for me,
eases my heart and mind.
Poetress2 Mar 2019
She walks to grade school,
sack lunch in her hand;
Dressed in old, tattered clothes,
that a Flea Market had.
~
She hangs her head low,
don't want them to see;
The bruise 'neath her eye,
which is now blue and green.
~
Her shoes do not fit,
they're too large for her feet;
So she stumbles along,
then falls to her feet.
~
Since her lunch yesterday,
she's had nothing to eat;
She sheds a small tear,
which runs down her cheek.
~
Children pass by her,
they point as they laugh;
And under her breath,
she lets out a gasp.
~
She despises those bullies,
for the things that they do;
So she quickly runs home,
grabs a gun from Dad's room.
~
She rushes to school,
she'll make them all pay;
So she guns down nine children,
uncontained is her rage.
~
A teacher subdues her,
wrestles her to the ground;
Her killing spree's over,
yet she makes not a sound.
~
Nine children lay dead,
everyone is in shock;
They all learned a lesson,
No one's to be mocked!
Poetress2 Apr 2019
They'd stand before a Judge,
their trial would soon begin;
These Saintly men of God's,
would be judged, but once again.
~
The Prosecutor entered the room,
so confident and strong;
Beelzebub, the evil one,
would bring up all their wrongs.
~
He'd point his crooked finger,
and name all their mistakes;
All the failures of their past,
he'd remind these Godly Saints.
~
Then entered the Great Almighty,
the one and only, I AM;"
He would have the victory,
o'er the one who had been ******.
~
The Courtroom doors then opened,
and in walked Jesus Christ;
He would be their Advocate,
disproving Satan's lies.
~
"We all know why we're here,"
Satan grinned in sheer delight;
"To prove these Men of God's,
are imposters of the light."
~
He pointed his crooked finger,
at each one he cheerfully named;
"You see this man before you,
he's lied for his own gain.
~
And this woman is a sinner,
she cheated on her spouse;
She practiced to deceive him,
no remorse did she announce."
~
Now Jesus had enough of him,
so He slowly began to speak;
"You do know, Heavenly Father,
at times all men are weak."
~
God gave Jesus a knowing nod,
for He saw them white as snow;
No sins had they committed,
no sins did their pasts show.

A precious baby,
a wee newborn;
Sing praises to,
the Lord of Lords.
~
His name is Jesus,
the reason He came;
Was to save Mankind,
from their sins and shame.
~
From Heaven above,
He came to Earth;
No other Babe,
held so much worth.
~
Wrapped in swaddling clothes,
in a Manger He lay;
His life would be,
the price He'd pay.
~
As this child grew,
into a man;
He taught and preached,
of God's, great plan.
~
Some followed Him,
some turned away;
Yet He loved us all,
anyway.
~
He offered Salvation,
to all who received;
By dying upon,
a Dogwood Tree.
~
He shed His Blood,
upon the Cross;
T'was an act that came,
at a very, high cost.
~
Praise you, my Jesus,
the great King of Kings;
You truly are what,
Christmastime means!
Poetress2 Apr 2019
Upon this Easter morning,
celebrate what it stands for;
Jesus rose up from the dead,
the Grave held Him no more.
~
The Devil watched the Tomb,
where Jesus' body was kept;
The first two nights he gloated,
sure of Jesus' death.
~
But when the third day came,
Satan knew Jesus arose;
He shook in utter terror,
from his head down to his toes.
~
Jesus was the Conquerer,
and Satan lost that day;
So please remember Easter,
and keep it in its' way.
Poetress2 Mar 2019
I don't have all the answers,
why we don't talk or touch;
I think that we, would both agree,
it's becoming just too much.
~
We never hold each other's hand,
the way we use to do;
We never kiss each other, "Bye,"
as if we have the Flu.
~
We rarely say, "I love you,"
nor give hugs anymore;
And we always seem so sad,
when we walk through the front door.
~
We both ignore the other,
this happens all day long;
We don't communicate because,
everything we'd say is wrong.
~
When we go to bed at night,
we never say, "Goodnight;"
We're nothing more then roomates,
who are living seperate lives.
~
We both keep our own distance,
as if we're miles apart;
It seems we're always, "Butting Heads,"
just like we **** our hearts.
~
The two of us aren't happy,
what are we going to do;
Perhaps it's time, to realize,
this relationship is through.
Poetress2 Jan 2019
"Goodbye John or Amy,
though I know you can't hear;"
"But I really can Mommy,
with my tiny ears."
~
"I think this is better,
this thing I must do;"
"Better for me,
or easier on you?"
~
"I don't think you'll feel it,
'cause you're not alive;"
"If you believe that,
you're living a lie."
~
"Here comes the Doctor,
this shouldn't take long;"
"Don't let them **** me,
I've done nothing wrong."
~
"Are you positive Doctor,
it won't feel a thing;"
"The pain is intense,
from that ******* machine."
~
"Is it almost over,
I've somewhere to go;"
"It pulled off my leg,
and it went up that hole."
~
"I hope you know,
it's for the best;
"You got your wish,
it's crushing my chest."
~
"Thank God it's over,
my life can go on;"
There was now, no child,
no voice to respond.
Poetress2 May 2019
He went to fix her pipes,
something he'd done once before;
This time t'was not the bed,
they ended up on the floor.
-
This wasn't the second time,
he'd cheated on his Wife;
She was getting use to it,
not having a stable life.
-
What was he truly thinking,
it tore her world apart;
For though he'd done her wrong,
he still had a piece of her heart.
-
And though he might have felt bad,
his actions never showed;
She felt that it was time,
to ask this man to go.
Poetress2 Apr 2019
Another Dawn has come again,
I am so thankful for my friends;
Each one of them stands by my side,
within my heart, they all reside.
~
They fill me with a sense of pride,
I feel so lucky I'm alive;
They always have the time to help,
they've put me on a pedestal.
~
When I laugh or cry my tears,
they've always there, through the years;
I have their backs, they have mine too,
there's nothing that I wouldn't do.
~
I try to improve their life's so much.
from each of them, my life's been touched;
All I can say is, "Thank you all,"
for making me feel ten feet tall.
Poetress2 May 2019
There is no greater love,
then found in Jesus Christ;
Because of His great love,
He sacrificed His life.
-
Throughout the years He lived,
He never once did sin;
He healed the Lame and Blind,
taught people to forgive.
-
No evil thought did He once think,
no foul words from His mouth;
Yet there were those mocked Him,
and those who lived in doubt.
-
He took all of our sins,
and claimed them as His own;
Upon the Cross He hung,
He felt so all alone.
-
He came to die for all of us,
to give eternal life;
He did all this to save us,
to save all of Mankind.
Poetress2 Sep 2019
I do not wish,
to ever be touched;
For the pain
spills out,
it's simply too much.
-
Touches make me feel,
***** and confused;
Since I was but a child,
of maybe one or two.
-
They robbed me of my innosence,
they robbed me of my youth;
In the dark of the night,
in my dingy little
room.
-
The nightmares unfolded,
until I was nine;
They invaded my privacy,
stole a chunk of my life.
Poetress2 Mar 2019
For all that I am,
and all I will be;
God has a great plan,
and a purpose for me.
~
While the Earth, still void,
I was on His mind;
As He was creating,
this (One of a kind.)
~
I am special indeed,
God formed me this way;
He was the Potter,
and I was the Clay.
~
In His own image,
I was made to be;
Unlike any other,
I'm completely unique.
Poetress2 Jan 2019
There are numerous, wicked men,
who are nothing more than fiends;
And each one of them work,
in a place known as D. C.
~
Each morning they will donn,
their expensive, silky suits;
To see just how much damage,
these brood of snakes can do.
~
Then off to work they'll go,
with a smirk upon their face;
They call themselves, "Successful,"
I call them a "Disgrace."
~
These vile creatures of habit,
will vote on "Do-Nothing Bills;"
That will serve to weaken our Country,
upon that treacherous Hill.
~
Then home to their cozy Mansions,
they'll return at the days' end;
Daring to call us their, "Leaders,"
daring to call us their, "Friends."
Poetress2 Mar 2019
You and I are different,
not cut from the same cloth;
We **** heads everyday now,
both wanting to be the boss.
~
You have your set of interests,
and I have my own too;
Together we are night and day,
things we have in common are few.
~
We simply have no chemistry,
and a lack of passion we share;
The tension felt between us both,
lingers heavily in the air.
~
It's not often we see "eye-to-eye,"
so we happen to clash every time;
For when you're angry, you explode,
while I simply sit there and cry.
~
Pain we've both dealt ourselves,
is not easy for us to forget;
It holds us down like an Anchor,
and we drown on our own regrets.
~
No longer can we feel our love,
that use to stick like glue;
Perhaps it died, along with trust,
each one of us once knew.
Poetress2 Apr 2019
Tinsel, bows, lights, and gifts,
this is a part, of what Christmas is;
Carolers, shopping, and bright Candy Canes,
T'was never the reason, our Lord Jesus came.
~
A tree, wrapping paper, and green Mistletoe,
Christmas cartoons, that they always show;
A feast, baking cookies, and stockings to fill,
does not acknowledge, that Jesus is real.
~
Santa Clause, Elves, and plenty of cheer,
counting the days, 'til Christmas draws near;
Bells ringing, mittens, and flying Reindeer,
does not signify, that Jesus was here.
~
What is the reason, for this Holiday,
when families gather, to all celebrate;
They'll open their presents, on this Christmas Morn,
not giving a thought, to why Jesus was born.
~
Yet on this glorious time of the year,
please don't forget why Jesus was here;
He came to live, and be Sacrificed,
He did this all, for all of Mankind!
Poetress2 Apr 2019
Upon this Easter morning,
celebrate what it stands for;
Jesus rose up from the dead,
the Grave held Him no more.
~
The Devil watched the Tomb,
where Jesus' body was kept;
The first two nights he gloated,
sure of Jesus' death.
~
But when the third day came,
Satan knew Jesus arose;
He shook in utter terror,
from his head down to his toes.

Jesus was the Conquerer,
and Satan lost that day;
So please remember Easter,
and keep it in its' way.
Poetress2 Apr 2019
If I had known the future,
and all that it entailed;
I would never go, down those same roads,
that lead me straight to Hell.
~
If I had known the heartaches,
which many times I've faced;
I'd run and hide, deep down inside,
in a place that's sound and safe.
~
If I'd have known what love is,
I may have loved much more;
But I didn't know, how to let it show,
never knowing what love is for.
~
If I were but a child again,
and attention I  yearned to seek;
I may have become, much different than some,
but all I became was me.
Poetress2 Apr 2019
I don't want to get out of bed,
I have no reason at all;
I'd rather lay here, all day long,
basking within these four walls.
~
Nothing seems to interest me,
I'm much too sad to enjoy;
And everything I use to love,
I now can't find any joy.
~
Everything seems quite useless,
a darkness wells up in me;
I can not find a glimpse of hope,
"Oh please everyone, let me be!"
~
But they harp upon my sadness,
I'm ready to just give up;
What is the point of living,
when I've taken far too much?
Poetress2 Mar 2019
When you hear the Thunder rolling,
and you're in the eye of your storm;
You can always take your refuge,
in the mighty name of the Lord.
~
When the lightning flashes brightly,
and you don't think you're prepared;
Just reach out for His hand,
in your whirlpool of despair.
~
When the sheets of rain are deafening,
and they cause you fear inside;
Go stand by the mighty Mountain,
in the blessed name of Christ.
~
When the rain turns into hail,
and you don't know what to do;
Just call upon our Savior,
and He will comfort you.
~
He'll take you by the hand,
and calm your frightened Soul;
He'll always hold you tightly,
He'll never let you go!
Poetress2 May 2019
I just don't understand, Satan very well;
He gave up everything he had,
to secure a place in Hell.
-
He began as a beautiful Angel,
then sin crept in his heart;
He wished to be, just like God,
so the Father yelled, "Depart!"
-
He took one- third of the Angels,
as they all fell from the sky;
And as they all were falling,
it looked like sheeds of black ice.
-
Into the fiery furnace,
the Demons were all thrown;
For what you surely reap,
you will ultimately sow!
Poetress2 Dec 2018
I write because I love to,
I write because it's me;
I do not write for fortune,
or much publicity.
~
I write from my own heart,
the words just seem to flow;
I write to make  a difference,
I write to give men hope.
~
I write because I'm called to,
by my Father, up above;
I write to spread my words,
I write to spread my love.
Poetress2 May 2019
In the darkness hours of my life,
I see things that aren't there;
A belt becomes a snake,
I hear voices everywhere-
I have no sense of direction,
I bump into everything;
The walls, the cabinets, the furniture,
I'm bruised  from head to feet.
-
Clothes that are in my closet,
become Monsters in disguise;
I fear they will jump out at me,
and scare me out of life.
-
I won't look in the mirror,
too afraid of what I'll see;
Will there be a Troll or Demon,
staring back at me?
-
I have no feelings on my skin,
I'm as numb as I can be; Still  I can feel creeping things,
crawling over me.
-
How long will I have to
face,
this nightmare I am in;
Not until I get a 'script,
for my priceless Klonopin.
This is what withdrawals are like.  I lived this way for a year.
Poetress2 Apr 2019
I feel a need, deep down inside,
if only from it, I could hide;
It starts with just, a tiny knaw,
before I know it, it snowballs.
~
It's not a feeling of deep despair,
but rather, a feeling that no one cares;
It starts deep down, begins to grow,
before I know it, I feel old.
~
There are no meds. to ease my mind,
no quick fix, for this heart of mine;
Something's amiss, inside of me,
I do not know, what it could be.

My RIGHTEOUSNESS, like filthy rags,
weighed heavily on my mind;
I BID my Lord to take the weight,
for I knew He would in time.
~
A quiet KNOCK on my heart's door,
I answered it right away;
T'was my Jesus, standing there,
in His SANCTIFICATION ways.

JUSTIFICATION He brought to me,
the moment I opened the door;
Satan would BUFFET me each day,
when Jesus became my Lord.
~
When Satan threw his NET out,
trying to LURE me in;
His plan, it failed quite miserably,
this QUACK, who was nothing but sin.
~
My Jesus, He gave me a hug,
it showed His love and CARE;
I knew He would never leave me,
for my God is just and fair.
RIGHTEOUSNESS, KNOCK, JUSTIFICATION, SANCTIFICATION, BUFFET, BID, CARE, LURE, NET, QUACK
These are the words my husband gave me to write a Word bank poem with.  I really enjoy writing them.  If any of you would like me to write a WB poem for you, just let me know.

To all of you,
I want to say;
Thank you for bringing,
Sunshine my way.
~
The comments you leave,
truly makes my day;
I no longer feel,
my words are in vain.
~
I do not write,
for compliments;
I write for all,
the ones' depressed.
~
And what I pen,
is from my heart;
I have no other,
place to start.
~
So thank you all,
for encouraging me;
Sometimes that's all,
I ever need.

You are my strength,
when I am weak;
You are my voice,
when I can't speak.
~
You are my eyes,
when I can't see;
You are the wind,
beneath my wings.
~
You are my ears,
when I can't hear;
You are my comfort,
when I feel fear.
~
You are my Lord,
You saved my Soul;
You hold me tightly,
You'll never let go.

When I think of what, a Mother is;
You are at
the top,
of the most special list.
-
Your touch is as soft,
as a fluffy, white cloud;
I'm always Blessed,
when you are around.
-
You always have time,
to spend with me;
You certainly are,
a Blessing indeed.
-
So on this Merry Christmas Mom,
I wish I could give you,
more than this song;
I'd give you the World, I'd give you the Stars,
and I'd help you to see,
how special you are.
