Bonjour, hello to this French revolution, where people fought against the corrupted monarchy and created a new constitution. Hunger, no rights and no respect, they could not seem to solve it peacefully, so they cut off Louis the XVI neck. Marie Antoinette was a heartless greedy ***** she stole the people's food, so now she deserves some punishment, this is a historical moment for these people which they would soon cement. They started the Reign of Terror, which some may say was a costly and unnecessary error. Millions of people were killed and most were wrongly accused, their used to be equality, liberty, and fraternity, but all people saw was death, which is something not to be amused. The French Revolution where the third class fought the monarchy, so everyone could have true equality, liberty, and fraternity. Then came a guy named Napoléon who changed their wicked ways, he founded new ideas which created the future you see today. I know he wasn't exactly the best, he crowned himself the emperor, which no one had a say on, he pretended to respect the church and have meritocracy but really he was just a con, deceiving people as if they were just a couple of pawns. Napoléon is a wimp, he cost millions of lives, he also abandoned his armies multiple times, he may be one of the, greatest strategist's in the world, but really he's just a waste of time. Napoléon should have figured out not to attack Russia at winter time, it never worked out before so why would it work this time. He may be a symbol of France and the greatest self proclaimed emperor, but he died because of his pride just like Maximillian Robespierre. That was the end of the French Revolution, they slowly lost their power but they still hold onto their republican constitution. So aurevoir for now, bon voyage to you grande revolution, till your next controversial decisions and solutions.

pawns of war: brother father son
The Devil pursued until his interest failed He changed his course straight back to hell Yet I felt to follow through gates and doors Caught and married his favorite ***** The beard that hid my bitter face I took a razor and I did erase No more hiding from what I can be How could I embrace such misery... Darkness plagues the shadows of mind Light gets broken in the Devil's design But we are not pawns without a choice These are my hands and this is my voice...

COURSE CHANGES
For 21 days I saw changes wrought by the freedom of 22 years Secrets of razor wire straight and taut Speak of those who continue to fear I saw nature’s beauty in land and face As black heel continues to rise Via school, ambition they prep for the race Even as secretly despised What’s changed in Soweto? I did not live But photos and newsreels survive Pictures of shanties bulldozed to give Whites room to extend their hives Now malls; monuments to white retail Built on Mandiba’s words Polished chrome and marble hail “Happy” workers in a black-faced world Monuments ringed with vendors tribal Carved goods for sale and cheap The rands they make do not rival What multi-nationals’ continue to reap Happiness is shallow until sundown When the curtain of decorum lifts Showing reality’s new shanty-town Where space and plumbing are gifts I wonder if He would be okay Seeing his people so used As pawns for labor with little say As black is seldom excused The young know the time is now As old hatred’s in shallow graves To be unearthed by book and plow Keeping dreams from stunting and fade

SOUTH AFRICA - POST APARTHEID
Slipping and sliding Back into the past Foolishly buying All the foolishness they've said Stacking me against you Pitting you against me Does it hurt to stretch the truth If the lie is so easy Keeping us under lock and key Mental Slavery Under their thumbs We're being kept Simple pawns In their game of chess We take them at their word This herd of talking heads As we rely on every line That we're being fed Keeping us under lock and key Mental Slavery With the slightest of resistance We feel we should fight back But at our own insistence It's ambition that we lack So we follow along the path Eyes closed to reality Turning us against each other Makes it hard to see Keeping us under lock and key Mental Slavery

Mental Slavery
Hopscotch Girlfriends running, twirling, too. Taking turns out in the sun. Skip and hop across the board. Leap over the marked one. Twister. Red right foot, Bodies blend. Green left hand Twist and bend Blue left foot, Over extend. Yellow right hand In a body pile, again. Chess Pawns in play, Knights abound. King in check, Queens around. Pieces falling one by one Check and Mate is the sound. Tag Tag! You're It. Running wild. Laughing, screaming, Swift little child. Jumprope Rope atwirling overhead. Jump when its under. Singsong chanting Sounds like thunder. Checkers Red men, Black men. Jump on a diagonal. King me, king me Gonna jump a handful Kick the Can Running down the street. Kicking that can. Swarm of kiddies Chasing past the man.

Childhood Games
If you don’t have patience, that weight might get you 4 to 8, if you don’t pace it, that weight might make your loved ones have to wait, but I guess that’s better than a 9 to 5, from 20 to life, rather be a free man locked up inside, than in prison on the out side every day of my life, run away slaves still runnin, we were once kings, they turned us into pawns, how we’re just corporate meat, for sausages from Uncle John’s farm, how quickly one can go from, being Father King to an Uncle Tom, these cities were never meant for us, that’s why we’re restless and never feel at home, anxious yes but if you don’t have patience, that weight might get you 4 to 8, if you don’t pace it, that weight might make your loved ones have to wait, the whole farm’s for sale, there’s much more at stake than just steak, Holy Cow where are we now, somewhere between Chance and Fate, somewhere between total failure and absolutely great, not a rapper not a chance, at least not anymore, not here to sing and dance, I am not anybody’s ***** this is Capitalism gone wrong, Consumerism gone rouge, where every new idea seems so passe, that it’s out of Style before it’s even En Vogue, Yo, yo yo yo, Yo MTV Raps got you to dance, but all those black faces dancing got the white pockets paid and, most of all the One Hit Wonders didn’t even get a 2nd chance, gave all our time to Time Warner, but we all know Warner Brothers is anything but a brother, from the corner office right back to that corner, from the lime light right back to those street lights, better get right, better save and invest, we could get an island for what we spend on these diamonds, know when to hold ‘em know when to fold ‘em well you know the rest, if you don’t have patience, that weight might get you 4 to 8, if you don’t pace it, that weight might make your loved ones have to wait, but I guess that’s better than a 9 to 5, from 20 to life, rather be a free man locked up, than in prison on the out side every day of my life, run away slaves still runnin… ∆ Aaron LA Lux ∆ author of multiple bestselling poetry books.

They tell me to stand I do nothing but fall They tell me eat I do nothing but starve They tell me to be me I can't when altering is what I can only do They tell me to be free I do nothing but obey Obey their laws For it is life We do the opposite of what they say By the pictures they show And what they desire For we follow the hypocrite society For we must obey Blindly To fit For we are their pawns For their entertainment

i admit to 'male' -- 'female' strikes me low curving concupiscent hips (of Venus swaying so) the one who places, caught bathing in her morph to mar her goddess innocence (Peleus grasps her so)          her evergreen paradise- apple spraying scruples, while the sun dries forgiveness **** (on Eve's fragrant ******* in other Edens Lilith simply leaves him blind to lust for unknown Didos (craving **** or suicide) the limping god nets love and war, olympicly to smith a mortal death (from Vulcan jealousy) foresight's fire-gift leaps obedience to lie far falls the divine (in ******* he defied) potent swan of sky, what judgement? for a girl you laid in that white rush, (virginity unfurled) immortal **** fates sails of progeny, raging poet-birthing strife (for temple priestess' cries) fated nation-death swoons, shares beauty's scale, and Aphrodite's foam (caresses history's thighs) Trojan tensions mix the modern mind to heights of doubt of mythopoets' truth ( -yielding blindnesses) lonely walk the earth with guiding wisdom lacking all the pawns of fate (forget love's darknesses) sphinxine hunger asks the soul of destiny of hubris, tragic sight (and orgiastic nights) of unknown woman man struck down sickly city safe and burning, yearning (nymph and satyr sating Bacchic rites)

Deadly Chess
I dream of innocence of days long spent beneath summers sun a Carpenters son and royal daughter a Queen and a martyr one girl one boy eyes fuse like alloy caught in a sudden trance a courtship dance loves hypnotic rituals of star filled visuals white lights against black night white Knight versus black Knight this is now a game of chess strategizing what to do next. Three is a crowd how I wish he wasn't around your first mistake so I sit and wait for the nightmare to be over for my Knights mare to save her I already know the pain she's due it's as old as the sun, this rain isn't new nothing washes away infidelities sinning nothing can make them white sheets of linen once innocence is lost like paradise if only you took another roll at the dice maybe fate is predetermined numbers and maybe innocence only exists in slumber maybe it was lost at birth maybe it's just an ancient curse inherited from days long ago maybe we were never white as snow. But still I have this martyrs cause yet still I never really give pause the Knight that sacrifices for his Queen for he has already witnessed all to be seen history repeating itself Déjà vu sapping our health reincarnated pain can the black Knight ever be slain? or is it just another side of the coin everyone is still curtain drawing hiding from the dark the day that's lost its spark black night only masks the sun black Knight versus the Carpenters son but white lights appear in the sky the white night is there when we die when our numbers finally up when our slumber finally stops the ending of the night maybe we aren't really Knights maybe we are all just pawns so innocence can be reborn.

The Persian Chessboard as the story goes, it happend in Persia could have been India, or even in China the King was bored, so he looked for someone wiser the Grand Vizier, being the principle advisor entertain me the King said, challenge my senses I need something different, I'm tired of burning fences the Vizier scratched his chin, and stared straight ahead how about a new game, where you have to use your head we'll use moving pieces, on black and white squares the King will be the major piece, the rest nobody cares capture the opponents King, to make him surrender be careful of the others, the ones who are pretender we can call it 'shahmat', or death to the King and when this death is proclaimed, everybody sing the final move is checkmate, there will be no place to run the game sometimes in real life, the loser had no fun the pawns and the knights, each one fell to the side eventually then an added piece, the King's special bride the Queen was entered in, she also had some power she was just as deadly, cutthroat behind you in the shower the King was very pleased, he granted Vizier a treasure he told him, pick your price, anything you pleasure the Vizier tried to trick the King, he made mistake instead the game lived on and on, but the Vizier turned up dead Gomer LePoet...

The Persian Chessboard
She moves him ‘round the chess board, dodging bishops, pawns and rooks. She coaxes him from square to square without a second look. The white knight cannot catch him. Piece by piece, the foe now yields. Her king is safe; the game is done. The queen controls the field.

I abuse words verbally like my voice is Bobby and the dictionary Whitney/ Like a literary hyperbole properly arranged to explain this deranged brutality perfectly/ Force the English language to work for me like a particularly dark time in history/ Optimistically take the tongue twister trickery and aggressively attack a vocabulary vocally and personally/ Not physically but a barrage on your psyche, almost psychedelically/ Use words medically, like a surgeon I expertly plant thoughts whispered softly but assertively/ Moving letters like chess pawns to express thoughts masterfully and creatively/ Gruesomely grotesque but gorgeous thoughts written down beautifully/ You can't help but hear the perplexity of mythoticly placed words with comradery/ An oddity with the audacity to raise the bar and up the capacity/ Because what comes out of me has to be exactly what you see because it is me/                 Not just a part of me but all of me/ I'm not a fallen tree sitting in the forest silently, quietly all by my lonely/ It's just the opposite actually and factually/ I will attack with a dialect so violent you violently retract causing you to react cowardly automatically/ I don't even have to lift a pinky, leave it stinky/ Let my words linger there in the air like **** smoke, thick and sticky/   Periodically come back to peek and see if you've figured out the mystery and found the key/ One that'll decipher decisively what it is that I've let out of me and spread to all humanity/ I could never have planned it, see, it had to happen naturally, organically if you will/ And not to build it up falsely but I honestly, back then, didn't have the ***** to let it out of me and it cost me considerably/ So now this mastery I hold of word delivery bestowed to me gets jotted down feverishly/ With an intensity equal to none inside of this ******* century, can't censor me/ Got a consistency that forces me to constantly cross the border of insanity repeatedly/ Time only to watch my talents as they literally wither away for all of eternity/ Such a tragedy to see such agony but please, no apology brought on by sympathy/ Just let me be as I drift farther out to sea to a place you'll never see/ To let these words mold me into someone you could never be/ ©2018

The Cannibal Game of God and the Tiger
Distant cries, Fiery flames of ashen pawns. A cat is born, Under the desert sun. Darkened Jewel, Eyes of lightning. Cobalt blue. The fur of brown, Ears of perky sounds. Cat of the Pride. Dark Jewel, Eyes of the lightning hue. The cat, Of Elsweyr.

Dark Jewel- Khajiit of Skyrim
I wonder whats so appealing about demons and their temptations Or about characters who don't quite have their stories straight Claiming the day is to come but never actually sets a date Lost in a trail of their own confusion In the hopes they might sedate it But with the path of destruction left in their wake They couldn't help but feel ashamed, right? I mean, don't you? You couldn't be so foolish Or be so heartless To realize this isn’t right You only surpass me in age by a year and yet You’ve become quite bitter I try to understand but to be this lost Is simply lost to me I'm told to just try to understand that we all have demons But must they manifest in this nature? Then demand the respect of your allies with disrespect It makes no sense Do you see how vulnerable a piece is when the pawns are gone Don't you hate feeling like you're all alone? I truly wonder if you get it though, Because its truly sad to see Especially that day you spoke to me I saw someone who wanted to become accepted You just went about it the wrong way and I can’t help but wonder what lead you so astray? Whether it be a troubled past or you just like to be a pain in the *** I hope you find some peace In this chaotic battlefield you call life.

Unspoken Words
Laying in the land of lies. Kissing broken butterflies Knows what she wants. A tigress on the prowl. Howling and squawking. Howling and scowling. Pawing, cat calling. Pussycat growling. Love laid roses on the path. Tangled thorns and demon horns. Thought she'd have a laugh. Love she chooses lonely pawns. Howling and squawking, Howling and scowling Pawing, cat calling. Pussycat growling. She snatches sweethearts. Creating works of art. Living on cupcakes. Cementing works of art. Breaking hearts and crushing bones. Howling and squawking. Howling and scowling. Pawing, cat calling. Pussycat growling. Fingertips tips as razor blades. Razor blades are on the **** Love dies screaming silently. At wicked women's will. Said goodbye. Howling and squawking No more talking. Pussycat cat cuddles. Snuggles and kittens. (C) LIVVI

Isn’t it funny how as we age, we need less sleep? Babies’ lives consist of it. Their time is infinite. Children need many hours to rest growing bodies and minds. They have a different and separate life to live. Maybe adolescents and adults do it to escape the hassles of daily life. They have lived long enough to expect struggle and uncertainty. The elderly sleep less than everyone else. The clock ticks away what remains of their lives. Dreamland dwindles as their time on earth fades. Tired eyes and tired hearts are what are left. We love sleep, we dream in sleep. Have their dreams been found and achieved, or do they float away with lost souls? We love sleep, we hope in sleep. Do their lives end when bodies fail, or are they just beginning? We love sleep, we search in sleep. Can they reconnect with loved ones, like in a fairy tale, or never see their faces again, as if in a nightmare? We love sleep, we rest in sleep. Do their cares melt away, or do their minds become crazed, like restless legs in the night? We love sleep, we pray in sleep. Is there a God they meet in Heaven, or an evil Devil in Hell? We love sleep, we work in sleep. Do they have room for regrets, or has all their energy been expended? We love sleep, we die in sleep. Is there a point at which they know, and go peacefully with no resistance, or do they refuse to acknowledge, fighting bitterly? We love sleep, we live asleep. Did they realize in life that they were asleep the whole time, passive pawns in a big world, or did they know enough to be awake, because a far longer, unknown sleep would follow?

We meddle and blame the seed for being buried in the ground. We built bridges! roads! schools! abroad all the while we allow our own to ground to dust. We spent billions on bombs we drop on weddings on the other side of the world. All this, while allowing 1/6 of our kids to be "food-insecure" whatever the **** that means. Our courts are less justice and more criminal. Our politicians base success on 're-electability' not how they've improved our lives. Our happiness is collateral-gain. We tread on poverty while rejoicing among the virtues of the rich. The most basic humanities are reduced to tired pawns in the minds of millions and we are the American dream.
