A Psychedelic Conundrum
Morrison Leary Jan 2017
Upon every arrival of every celestial birth,
There is only one common normality.
A susceptibility to an infinitesimal design,
A kink in the chain, the war of our mind.
This psychosomatic condition is no stranger,
A rendition of life’s existence.
Confinement exacerbated by poor health in the gut line,
Hormonal imbalances manipulated by addictive influences.
Paradigms shifting in front of awakening eyes,
Psychedelic truths hidden within the tides of time,
Confusion and conflict preventing expansion of evolutionary consciousness,
A cyclic pattern, the sadness in all our lives.
This idea is immortal and internal in the human genome,
The greatest subterfuge,
Amnesia
Psychedelics are a key to a doorway that opens up endless possibilities.

DMT

DMT
Time has come,
And it never feels like what you envisage.
Shades that were drawn, are now beginning to fade.
Tip your hat to the unknown, be the passenger.
Engage the reverie, evolve as you go.

Dine at the arrangement, the subtle choice.
Entertaining ideas cycling within, a soliloquy echoes through.
An eternity welcomes a chemical release.
Tunnels of hues, overwhelmed and confused.
Hiccup to existence, all are amused

Dark Tunnel
Morrison Leary Mar 2016
A reverie to say the least,
a darkness perpetrated by beliefs.
Envision the entrance, a cold whistle screams adventure.
Entering the mouth of the beast, calloused hands, my fragile tips,
brushing against the ceiling, caressing and corrupting the structure,
disappearing deeper from destruction.
This grimace upon the face, this terror protruding within the gut,
an agony to be replaced,
once escaped, courage will flourish.
Expand the vessel,
***** to emptiness, given room to proceed,
phosphorescent hues exploding through my dreams.
Reaching the cusp, gather my strength,
place upon my scalp, a diadem to show defeat,
unworthy, fruitless scavengers, left to retreat.
Broken, a shattered age, misguided and abused, nothing to lose.
Words ring true, guidance for those envious of power,
wake from endless lies,
enter into an abyss, never to return,
abandoned dark tunnel.
Everyone has their moments of victory and defeat.

Vanity's Game
Morrison Leary Feb 2016
Darkness leaped in, smothered my psyche.
Led me down a hall, into the cinema I went, not willing.
A theatrical presentation, an outcry ensued.
Perception forever altered.
A mind completely new.
My ideals, my dreams, dissipating with the ending scene.
Go forth I did, dashing into the illuminating beam.
A challenge of realization, no immediate hesitation.
Advancement granted, the understanding,
of another dimension.
Speechless, words cannot explain.
Abandoned, with nothing left.
An experience to entertain,
while under the dancing rain,
Vanity's Game.

New Beginnings
Morrison Leary Dec 2015
They fall for all to see,
an emotional wreck.
The queen of selfies,
a broken mess.
Check the label,
grasp the best, outlier, different from the rest.
A wandering eye,
engaged to chaos.
An optimistic seed,
still part of growth,
masked with a broken cloak,
just something to fix,
truths scare most.
Weakened souls,
from broken homes,
destine to live disguised,
break from the chains of emotion,
and let lies die to let live what was hidden.
New beginnings.
With every break up comes a new beginning.

The Many Chances We Receive
Morrison Leary Jan 2015
Born to die, immortal we are not,
dwelling on the past, we descend looking back.
No memories of the womb, a black existence.
The cyclic pattern, a psychotropic dream,
monolithic, no hidden seams.
Climb into the abyss,
another reverie.
Morphic resonance has made the arrival,
another chance bequeathed.
A silent gift of opportunity,
an experience we don’t recall.
Don’t fret, just live it all.
Morrison Leary Dec 2014
Sitting there, on a porch, alone in my head.
A present of life is gifted, an icy chill.
Shooting through the spine,
hands down, by the side, massaging the warmth.
Artistic moisture falls upon the brow,
melting with my heart.
Doubt unravels, the simple truths,
the simple lies, awakening of my mind.
Sunshine makes a subtle appearance,
corrupting the mask, revealing the hide.
To start small, to end it all.
Wallowing in the madness,
darkness arrives.
Happiness misplaced,
tears completely dried,
trapped on the never-ending ride.

The Vultures Within
Morrison Leary Dec 2014
They wait, they hide, they prey.
Eating carrion,
vanishing in the setting sky.
These devilish carnivorous beasts,
soaring, circling quietly.
A smell from afar, piercing the senses.
A soulless hide, or partially alive.
Morality does not exist,
they devour all, their defining nature,
seeking the infirm,
a blackened mind.
Just there to watch you die.

Lonely Horrendous City
Morrison Leary Nov 2014
A town filled with degenerate and clowns,
where stars shine bright and street lights are nowhere in sight.
Drunken buffoons, swarming the saloons,
stirring up chaos with their little spoons.
Lost actresses turning into brainless waitresses,
the common conversation turning into nothing more,
than the gossip of your ever fashionable *****.
Stay too long in this dystopian filled town
and you'll find yourself growing old and bored,
dying internally like a cancerous plague,
waiting for the zombies to rise.
Not aware that the zombies are here, alive and well,
roaming the streets, ever so disguised,
make eye contact and prepare to die.

Nuevo Inicio
Morrison Leary Nov 2014
The neighbors, they must assume,
slightly poke and ****.
Is there a rave going on, inside?
Too many light switches, dressing the walls.
A light show to the outsiders,
nosy onlookers, lurking in the shadow of night.
Pull the trousers down, give them a real show.
Two moons will shine,
a new home.
Please forgive me, I'm figuring out said design.

Married To Death
Morrison Leary Nov 2014
Love me?
        You shall not.
With my hands bounded behind my back,
I cannot swallow.
Forgive me, it's all hard to take in.
Not lovable?
Intended to thrive elsewhere, let it begin.
Whose reflection?
Glaring back through the mirror,
one's true-self revealed.
Fighting towards a goal.
What can you show?
A selfish lass full of lies?
Nothing left to say,
just ready to cry.
Goodnight Madame
Watch as my soul leaves the past.

La Muerte De Un Poeta
Morrison Leary Nov 2014
This will be the death,
another forgotten poet.
No lamenting, just left to rust.
Words of the past,
cut a long story short,
for the remaining, the rest.
Attention spans diminish,
a dying language, I digress.
**** the conjunction, fade out with Pleiades
the rising sun.

Blood Of The Beast
Morrison Leary Oct 2014
In the cave I wait,
smoke filling the lungs,
masking the smell, hiding
the face.
I the fire starter,
in the bears domain, playing my game.
A moving shadow, a vicious snarl. Approaching swiftly, what a clumsy animal.
The blade glistens with minimal light. Entering the furry hide, the eyes fade. A soul dissipating with the cloud. A trade, gifted at death. One heroic effort for a bite at last.

The Tinamou
Morrison Leary Oct 2014
Steadily lay my lips upon slender hips,

hypnotized, aroused by this gentle kiss.

Our eyes, they formulate an idea,

the birth of a soul connection,

Finally finding the intertwining dimensions,

the design to be joined together at last, feeling alive.

We become lost in the storm,

traveling farther into the carpets of the forest, the unknown.

We adapt, we become like the Tinamou, afraid to sleep alone.

Creating a soft melody, only to entice the soothsayers ear,

a certain tone.

Construction of a pathway, cloaked by fear.

Thriving to find the opening, attempting to be in the clear.

Far away from the degenerates that roam,

the ones hiding in the plains, listening for our whispers, our euphony.

Carried across in the rain, the location, the destination,

Illuminated by the Moon's eye.

A bridge under the terrain where we bathe, we consume the gaze,

stars exploding and dying, while we lay.

Wishing upon the ashes,

A faze only for the tamed runaways.

Growing from within, a conundrum downpour.

An orchestration of the ultimate love survivalists.

Listen and absorb.

Dancing With The Deers
Morrison Leary Oct 2014
Dancing with the drifter, the howling wind,
I hear my calling.
Surrounded by curious quadrupeds, peculiar creatures.
The mind follows the adventure, futuristic thoughts are revealed.
A video of truth, hidden meaning, I suppose.
Led down the path of broken homes, forgotten tears, dark holes.
The ending, foreseen or to be unclear?
To dance with the deers,
a scrutable choice.

Bernice
Morrison Leary Aug 2014
We met at a coffee shop,
her name tag read Bernice.
Painted black hair, with devilish brown eyes.
She had a mesmerizing stare, which led me to believe, possibly speculate, she was rare. “I live upstairs” Bernice said with a ****** wink.
Her shift ended at 9, I was at the doorstep on time.
Cordially awaiting my appearance,
lit candles, no hearth, no fireplace.
Sweat dripping, mucking up hard wood floors,
A goat? Chained to the radiator sitting in the corner, loud as can be. It was a sacrifice of her virginity, the goat would watch.
I took it like it was candy, screams echoing throughout the night.
The sheets were white, now painted with blood. The goat, still kicking, making a ruckus.
I left the next morning, she gave me a quick tug. Scampering out the room, as naked as could be. A small mutter rang out,
“will you worship me?”

The Plague Of Narcissism
Morrison Leary Aug 2014
Swooping through the city streets,
the alleys, the corners, every crevice and crack.
Education and language never to be seen, dissipating with the past.
Ingrained in the brain, the common normality, placed on the famous track.
Morality has diminished, human beings are finished.
No curative for this disease,
a disgusting devious deceit
Two dozen selfies left behind,
just you, old and decrepit
all your doing,
your design,
a silly lie.
A ***** disguise.
Alone with a wasted life.

A Dream Of Your Design
Morrison Leary May 2014
A dark plague of deception
clouds the mind.
No hope to be found,
no light to be around.
All is lost, ominous it must seem.
Go forth, open your mind
and reap the benefits,
of a limitless dream
Be the designer of your own dream.

Global Warning Parade
Morrison Leary May 2014
O as I watch, waiting, wondering.
What has spawned this plague?
The mephitic clouds rise, all day,
joining the atmosphere.
A disease unleashed,
let out of the cage.
Allowed to frolic and rage, bringing thoughts to those already afraid.
Spreading further into the outskirts of the desolate plains.
Rapidly growing an apocalypse like a ****, unable to pull from the root.
Only solution seem fit.
To continue to change our ways, and never quit,
or allow ourselves to fall into another mesolithic age.
You can't stop the inevitable but you can prepare.

A Confused Creation Awaits
Morrison Leary May 2014
A storm constructed from the winds of the immortals.
Shattering from the sky like glitter, entering the skin of mother earth.
A primordial awakening seeps through the roots,
sprouting a creature, robed in a silhouette with
dogmatic virtues. Unsure of the purpose of oneself,
Fed by spoon
the knowledge of the divine.
Formulated,
worshiped, conceived throughout the history of time.
A chalice filled with vital fluid, a symbolic birth of lies fills the eyes.
Partake in the masquerade,
drink it, allow it to enter your veins.
Open the flood gates, let the torrential downpour of tears
spark the heartbeat that lies beneath. Create the imagination, activate the genius.
Manipulate the disguise, a false design shattered, only by the intellectual mind.
The untamed creation of the human reign, let us rise.

War of the Wages
Morrison Leary May 2014
Hard to pin us down, an interloper built for one cause,
to disrupt all the visions that we stir around.
Rip the motivation from our skins, mix it up in a ***.
A stew blended with just numbers,
throw them in, brains, limbs and all.
We're not using the knowledge,
so let us pay to devolve.
Sinking deeper into the ground from which we came.
Once a mystical entity, now a puddle of disgust.
Mixing in with the rain, and rust.
No longer recognizable, no longer do we posses trust.
Inspirations and morals dissipating in the vapor,
vanishing into dust.
A name not worthy to remember,
a story never to be told.
An idea we can't fathom,
a sinister manipulator we can't tame.
A distortion of our dreams,
something so vain.
Creating an algorithm of words,
creating a tale of reason.
Leaving something stranded to ponder,
while wandering in the chaos,
reminiscing in the mind.
A creature seasoned,
helpless,
bitter,
old.........out of time

Different and Alike
Morrison Leary Apr 2014
A continuity of effortless mannerisms,
a cusp connected to the plague.
Zombies developing in the desolate plains,
       roaming through streets,
implementing a quietus to civil beasts.

              Fragile eyes fall upon cries,
              the beggars fighting through darkness,
waiting for refuge, waiting to be rescued.
              A cataclysmic rupture awakes,
              provoking the urge to participate,
consumed by chaos, left behind to imitate.

      Invoking subtle voices,
calling from a distance, caressing layers,
      penetrating deeper through the shell.
A seed of knowledge planted, exfoliating the mind
an epoch of change, a doorway opened, a passage granted,
      a new reign.

              Sprouting directly through me,
              a nuance shatters geriatric existences,
              forcing drastic redirection,
conspiring an out burst, breaking the cocoon,
learning to levitate, traveling the universe,
vanishing from the ocean of lies
