The aftermath of poorly applied algebra is a scramble of numbers, letters, lonely coefficients, and an unemployed ninjas. These characters are much like those of a barbershop quartet, where members can either harmonize or simply fall flat. All of this depends on the song they sing and the order it is sung; algebra sings a song of SVSCOS (Same Variables Same Coefficients Opposite Sides) What else can come of bad math? Nothing less than a burning hatred for radicals, imaginary numbers, the saying 'PEMDAS', or maybe the fact that if you're 21 you must stay out the bars. This being said, Algebra 2 is very much like a dream; once you wake up, most of it is forgotten, but also in that it can be strived toward and reached.

Algebra 2
A Muslim boy with a clock Is seen as a terrorist with a glock Maybe i'm right, maybe i'm wrong But if he were White, Asian, Hispanic or even Pacific Islander Nobody would of suspected anything. When are we going to stop fearing an entire race for only a portion radical and illogical ways of treating others? I don't tolerate people who behead others if they don't agree with their religion I don't agree with the repressive governments that control everyone and stone them for minor misdemeanors There are good men out there fighting this evil that has plagued their homelands I'm all for ending terrorism of all kinds But let's stop terrorism of innocents too Sure, i'm afraid of what the radicals will do to their own people, my people and the rest of the world But i'll be dammed if i treated somebody from the Middle East like a monster when i don't even know who they are If it wasn't for a Middle Eastern girl The Syrians girls wouldn't have an improved education If it wasn't for a Middle Eastern man fending off the Taliban and risking his entire village to keep Marcus Littrell alive He would of been KIA a long time ago. What about the ones who fought and died for America? Nobody ever mentions them The media wants me to hate them all, but i laugh and shake my head Warped minds trying to warp others I only see the ones who want to do us harm, and the ones who want to live peacefully and away from a life of hell Brothers and sisters, just a different culture and skin color I'm sorry if America seems racist or hateful, but i'm proud to be the one who throws those two words in the trash Because i'm not afraid to speak my mind And i welcome everyone here America is everyone's home. If only the Soviet Union never invaded Afghanistan If only the people were not scared To be free like America. Unity for all, Religious differences and Cultures alike. I hope one day a Muslim man or Woman can walk down an American street without being labeled as a terrorist. I hope one day these repressive governments fall into the hands of democracy And we start the Age of Unity again.

Dear pomegranate, How much of your bitter, bitter juice must I drink, To prevent the free radicals from entering my bloodstream, And ******* up my system. I have spent Too many miles In the beds Of strangers Pick up trucks And Roaring Freight trains To settle For a quiet, Small Life. I am a wayfarer, Wanderer, Vagrant. No walls can keep me. I am too Massive For civil norms, I am Too much For a habitual society. A roof would Keep me from the stars. How could I Give up the rising sun? A door would keep me From all of the strangers That I call my allies. There is too much of this world That I have caught A glimpse of, There is still Deep-rooted mystery, I can feel it beneath my feet With every mile I roam. The magic rouses My being, Stirs my soul. Though This may feel like a curse, Some just weren't meant to Fit Into The puzzle. Some Are Free radicals, Disturbing the peace, Agitating the possibilities, Proving Freedom isn't dead, Freedom isn't free, Freedom is something That must be stolen, Freedom is to be Taken into your own Two hands.

A short poem for all of you Special People that don't want to belong. I am a true radical. I am different. No one really knows who I am. Perhaps, this is the way I want it. Perhaps, this is "the real me." While growing up, I too didn't "belong" and still don't. Freedom is the right to choose. Often others want to impose their will on you. Too often, it seems that external pressures force us to do things which are not always necessarily in our better interests. Peer pressure, social pressures entrap us, and we end up "going with the flow." I went through my early education with very few friends. They were what I would define as friends of the moment. Sound advice, have many "friends," but find yourself one "true friend." This is the one to call friend for your entire life. With this true friend, you are going to grow in this world. Growing in confidence, in wisdom, in knowledge, in security and in realizing who you really are. They will be the "Real Mirror" whose reflection, in time, you will honestly be able to call your own. **For all you radicals, there is a time to stand up and shout refuse to belong to those that choose the easy way out For what purpose would he decree, when G-D granted us life if not to stand firm and avoid all forms of strife I'm a radical, to this I must admit always looked upon differently, as if I'm unfit But why follow others who think they suffice to control everyone else with the roll of their dice Having gone through a lot, one begins to discern there's a time for discipline, and a time for concern Stand up and be counted, you alone have begun to realize you can be different, and still be as one All you radicals, to you alone do I salute your ways may be different, but none could refute Imagine our world, without you, what it would be a place where individuality could never ever be Free....**

7/12/12   16:25pm At what price does man find favour with God? Down through the roiling clouds, from heavenly heights to earthly clay, where scribes had written scrolls of doctrines; down through old crumbling architraves, temples of cold ideals,  man spawned the Vengeful Word. With rage of angels, like effigies of gods, there sprang forth lords and hypocrites; all claimed to speak for God.  Then, in the maelstrom, came genocide of innocents, and hellfire fell like rain. When does a tower become too tall for God? Out of a clear blue sky came silver harbingers of doom, where men were writing drafts and spreadsheets; now crumbling down around them, swathed in hate-begotten fire; spawned from a vengeful god. No mortal angels could save the ones who perished, caught above the line of flame; while some below survived. Yet, in the chaos, sworn enemies in faith came out to save each other's fall. At what price can man enter Paradise? High above the minarets, the veiled dome of the sky students look up with wistful longing; yearning to be good radicals and cross the lines of fire to reap heaven's reward. Hate's vengeful angels pretenders to the throne of God take many shapes and forms, while moderates stay quiet; and with their silence give passive leave for lunatics to prate at heaven's door.

With a Jewish religion and a German Queen, Who has a clue where the Brits have been? Mum’s clan were Huguenots, Dad’s maybe Welsh. Lots of Africans in our football teams. Keep out those immigrants many do say, Even those whose parents came from Bombay. We’ve lots of patriots from Pakistan: The younger generation, Brits to a man. But some are Radicals I hear you say, We should be sending them on their way, Back to Asia where they belong, To the tunes of a UKIP song. So what is “British” we must ask, For this is not an easy task. Justice and Democracy I hear you shout, Tiny islands with some clout. Shakespeare, Beatles, Rugby Lions, Churchill clapping foes in irons. Let’s be glad that we are free And settle down to a cuppa tea. Paul Butters

I saw a man fly today As he latched onto a last hope A one way ticket to a land unknown Didn’t care if he lost it all I saw a man fly today Thinking he was freedom bound But he lost his grip and was earthbound Strangers wept from the ground I saw a man fly today To our capital to give a speech About a city that had been breached By radicals who know no peace I saw a man fly today On a plane, vacation bound And while his plane safely touches down Millions of innocents cries resound

would I, like to know what, the world is thinking? every individuals original thought, every hippies high aspiration and every radicals rebellious rave? why yes, yes i would. beyond ALL practical desires. would i, also like to know how it is you mend a heart that bleeds NOT body but soul? to sieze ones rustling memories and understand the pain, accepting ALL and still stay sane? why yes, yes i most certainly would. MY mind it still does ponder. IF, you COULD know the blue prints, in which you were to follow, would you fight to stay on track? rising up to every challenge that falls along the way? OR would you choose another path? find peace, without predictions, STRAY, far of the beaten path carve the wood, another way? I would like the knowledge of one too many things. STRIPPING life of all its wonders, and THAT my friend is what MAKES me human.

My mother now old once long ago put Miss Harper Valley PTA to shame My mother with a quick wit and sharp tongue built a reputation to keep her safe. My mother smoked *** drank Blackberry Brandy and raised three radicals alone when it just wasn't done. My mother looked for love settled for security... but never for long too high of a price. My mother devoured books had an artists' soul mixed with a black widows heart. My mother is trapped between what she knows and what she says. My mother is embarrassed, confused and angry refusing to yield as she always has. My mother needs me now yet has too much pride and doesn't want crude judgments. My mother taught me her best (and worst) tricks and I use them on her often. My mother is at the end of her life keeping long promised answers locked tightly inside her. My mother has never let anyone understand her but me.

A tavern built on misdeeds and insurrection, House of rascals, whisky and imperfection A hideaway for rebels and racketeers, Where drinks are served to outlaws and mutineers, Where the pianist plays for pirates and privateers, Where the wicked and the wayward can be served, And are respected however undeserved. It’s a rag-tag bunch of outlaws and anarchists, A cavalcade of rough revolutionists, So come on in my dear insurrectionist, Welcome to our lawless little band, Welcome to the Tavern of the ****** Come and join our banished battalion, Join our cause, oh revered rapscallion, So calling out to nature’s abominations, We’ve got bourbon, bombshells and indignation, Come and wait for imminent and sure damnation, No matter what your deviance may be, Come and join the drunken reverie. It’s a monument to lost souls and deviants, A shrine to every small disobedience, A riotous, cathartic experience, Where radicals are safe from reprimand, Welcome to the Tavern of the ****** Welcome back, my worshipped renegade, To the place where freedom’s sweet as lemonade, Where skanks and outlaws, sing so intoxicated, The anthem of the unkempt and agitated, The mantra of the evil and of the hated, Laughing as they sing their merry tune, Unified by their impending doom. It’s a testament to chaos and anarchy, A haven for the worst of humanity, A house of lawlessness and profanity, Welcome to our lawless little band, Welcome to the Tavern of the ******

Winter’s releasing us from its perpetually gray and gloomy grip. Who can study in their room, on a beautiful spring afternoon? Azaleas assail ya, with champagne petals of bubblegum fuchsias, they blush in near neon reflection, with a mathematical, fractal perfection. Courtyards that were once dark and uninviting, frosty scenes, sport impromptu manicured carpets, of flawless, vibrant greens. Dogwoods explode, abruptly overnight, with cherry blossom whites they blush like brides on parade, they sachet, swaying flag-like bouquets. Ordinary maples become emerald queens by unfurling avocado, hunter and chartreuse leaves, accented with vibrant electric limes and honeydews, as if to say, ‘We too can please.’ New life stretches, almost yawning, in the seemingly reborn sun, insects hum as they cultivate, birds flit excitedly, as if to say,  ‘Why’re you inside? Come out and play - why do you even hesitate?’ I know there’s something in spring that’s irresistible, pheromonal, hormonal, surfeit and emotional. Is it the solar zenith angle or the sun’s declination that produces these delightful inclinations? . . Late night calls
there is a glacier partially concealed melting from a climactic climate shift revealing a reality congealed by revolt rebels burdened with a philosophy that elevates humanity insisting we will not grovel before a vain messiah espousing erroneous iterations of ideology will the human race permit the iceberg to dissolve as vapid reformist rhetoric inundates our political consciousness with pragmatic progressivism or will we rise in resistance with the radicals fists clenched in protest and hands outstretched to one another rather than lifted high in praise to a savior as we witness the glacier solidify once more as CO2 perforates our atmosphere with heady highs and noxious toxins will we succumb like dumbfounded addicts intoxicated by inoculation consuming the opiated semantics of charismatic personas or will we challenge the corrupt with our wits about us facing the sobering corporate corporeality with the pride of lions facing a den of thieves abandon the chosen champion of the vanguard party we stand hand-in-hand 7 billion sisters and brothers in an anthemic chorus of solidarity that shakes the bastions of the enthroned with the resounding shouts of perseverance in our non-compliant defiance our manifestos are written in the blood sweat and tears we've shed for this dream deferred and we will not be the silent majority anymore the masque of anarchy is ours to share will we wear its visage or will hell freeze over before we choose freedom over happiness
