You now feel lost and alone

Slayed with complete awe at the sight

Intensely my thoughts they revolve around your presence

Senses fixed to spring at every reminder of your essence
My heart strings tune themselves to your siren song
In every fragrant flower I see your soft petaled skin
Sunrise is ushered in by your sultry smile
Sunset cued by your soul shading absence

Yearning always to hear your sweet chime
Overwhelmed by the dazzling cosmos of your eyes
Utterly yours

The sky is like slate, down falls the rain
Wetting the world with cool breaths of fall
The trees of rich color, leaves all in flame
Setting the contrast in the shades that I saw
The color more resplendent when set against gray
The beauty much more vibrant to me
It's true of the season, and more I would say
It's true of your features I see
Your white skin so bright, so pure, and so soft
Sets the colors of your body apart
Topaz eyes, pink ribbon lips, dark hair set aloft

All these delights, are for many to view

And sitting warm beside the window pane

The beauty from the window view is plain
But so much more than this could I attain
If I were standing in the breeze outside
To journey deep among the rich terrain

I'd touch the grass upon the green hillside
The wind its cool caress my senses ride
No end in sight to where my feet may go
No smell, no taste, no sound would be denied
