on a sea strand, have you watched empty shells mercilessly tossed from sea to shore and from shore to sea?        often I shrink and reduce to such a shell, with jagged and broken edges colorless and empty among many a debris cast on the shore, i lie half buried under the sand waiting for some mighty wave to wash me away all the way to the sea how tedious is my voyage shuttling from him to her and from her to him unable to openly confess who weighs more on the balance of preference through how many alleys and by ways I have wandered, questioning my identity! am I a puffer fish, being toxic the fisher men have discarded? a jarring note in a discordant symphony? I wonder....! I often ask myself! destined to grow in mercurial climes, planted in arid shallow soil with the tap root trimmed, branches pruned, growth denied, I, a stunted bonsai! still I dream to be a towering tree, that in profusion gives fruits and shade! a ****** aspiring to be a Goliath a hollow reed, longing at once to be the singer and the song!

Like Jesus at the grave of Lazarus Othello groaned by shouting; William the son of John! No response, he shouted again; Shakespeare the bard! Then the mystique powers of Othello’s amulet Electrified Shakespeare back to life, What is your problem you black moor, The ***** of Morocco, the soldier Who beguiled Desdemona into betrothal, Not because of glory of your work, But due to charms of your love portion Bequeathed to you by your witch mother, What brings you to my sepulchre, For only to perturbed my purgatorial peace, What brings you!? Questioned Shakespeare the bard. Am no longer the moor, blackness is class But not the race, as race is bankrupt, I come here to salute you with good news, That your European brother, Alfred Nobel, Currently rewards thespic bards like you, Whether black or white, blue or green, The ***** bards from the natural forest, He also rewards, so wake up and pick the prize! Retorted Othello in virtue of truth, And also tell me the native bricks Of your beautiful architecture; Where and how did you mold thy bricks? Your brown English bricks that walled your culture; ***** clown, leapfrog, mercurial, oxymoron, Falsitafity, Shyllocking, colleaguery and window, Cauldron, graymalkin, woo, betroth, infatuation and so on. From underneath his sepulcher Shakespeare broke A violent gaggle of laughter as if he was ten English skeletons, You Othello you are still a beautiful moor Whose foolishness time has not condemned to oblivion, You are as a fool as I created you ; I will only teach you One brick, the window , that you go and put on Your wind disturbed African huts, Put the wind door on your hut, And be flexible in your tongue To give it English elegance Combine and shorten wind and door To get your cultural brick of; window !

Dear Friends, I had composed this poem in 2008 after reading an article by a Lady Doctor who was a Biologist, and had initially posted it on 'Poemhunter.com'. Hope you will like it! Thanks, - Raj PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY OF LOVE ! Love’s physics and chemistry, has forever remained a mystery! There are no permanent equations to resolve, Love's unseen wave like force! It travels through three dimensional space, At frequencies higher than electromagnetic waves! It remains unhindered by barriers of cast, creed, or clime, Giving two beating hearts a feel of the divine! It generates a magnetic force field, making two hearts in unison beat! Yet Biologists claim that a chemical called (PEA) Phenylethylamine, - Triggers loves molecules in the human mind! Chocolates are rich in this PEA content they say, And is a perfect gift on the Valentine’s Day! The chemical Dopamine makes the lovers to glow and feel fine, When they live on love and fresh air and may even forget to dine! While Norepinephrine, which stimulates our adrenaline production, Makes the lovers world go round in a joyous motion! But Oxytoxin that 'cuddling chemical',  requires constant contact for its effects to prevail! Cupid’s arrows may be dipped in its pail, Before those arrows on lovers begin to hail! Creating unbearable attraction leading to infatuation, Making two hearts beat as one with love’s magic potion! But such feelings remain for a limited duration, Varying with people with different emotions! In a 'mercurial type' loves ecstasy gets mixed, - And they frequently require a PEA fix! But those who stick to a single mate, Are said to be rich in Vasopressin content! And finally when infatuation gradually subsides, Chemicals triggered by Endorphine slowly overtakes, When calmness and stability with loving bond prevails! Discoboli of African poetry has now sparked above aphasia The aphasic silence today breaks eardrums with cacophony Of the world audience in the by standing duty of workshop tubes, Executing poetic experiment on the origin of **** poeticus To link the archaic baboonish proteins to the black chimpanzee Cradling African man, the sire of all and their poetry. That when the Chimpanzee blood we poured Into the African veins of vena cava and aorta, Feeding the heart with viscosity of nutrition, And the Chimpanzee blood fell into deadly Tomperousness like Shakespearean impetuosity Once seen in Romeo and Juliet, giving timely Birth To untimely half the yellow Sun That juxtaposed planet of poetry Behind the star of tribe as a priority Condemning to stark oblivion all the fated, in full uniform of tribal dimunitions, or mimesis. Ever predated on when tribes form nations. A time to try the chimpanzee blood in the veins Of white humanity, battling cynosure Historically evinced in Antony and his father, Or Tybalt and Mercurial of mercutio, Or Macbeth and counterparts Or Hamlet the Danish and the inheritors of his mother, As the white blood cells of the white blood, Militantly attack the white corpuscles Of the misfortunate chimpanzee, Converting the later into A chewer of misfortune.

CHIMPANZEE BLOOD INSIDE AFRICAN VEINES
again, madness! one eye tears, why must you return to the old familiar, the poets prescribed, already so well covered? why? must. it is the only shade of my voice that persists, all else vanity. these are words handily eye-read, given. all I need do is “repeat after me” somewhat well, and fill in the blanks. <> he writes me, in another place, to another name, describing himself: “I'm a charming man with a fragile patience.” no sir, Muses order me to disagree, you are a fragile man with a charming patience! your fragility is a royal hallmark, embedded in every scribing, this human indentation, always well hidden, on the underside of the wine cup, the base of the candlesticks, the inside of the wedding ring of your tying allegiance to the humbled humanity. the charming patience is the wait time tween your visions of the excellence of the common, the exquisites of the small, the delights of loss and pain translated into mercurial milestones, poems. here I cease, for overly long praise is a river too long, no end in sight, making great and wide just another poem. <> But! he writes me, in another place, to another name, describing himself, yet again: *”A thousand poems I don't write, but they get written in my heart.*” A thousand! ours is the patience fragile, your innate screen that filters out these thousand forbidden unwritten, needs a cleaning, open the tiny apertures and release them, for we are the humans needing, for the breathing of your fragile charm. <> the Muses do thee attend. their patience neither charming or fragile, reminding me, they too have a thousand. a thousand other ears into which to whisper that imperative imperial command, and they river no delay...

The stars once more have lost their race Through night-sky versus mercurial moon. In this defeat no dishonor will debase Futile efforts to intersect upon the lune. Desert scents of juniper and Mormon Tea Waft fragrant above the comfort fire smoke. Banana yucca roasting at my knee, Fleshy fruit consumption for us hungry folk. Nevada nights nip raw this time of year; Our lot is cast by glowing embers, Whose reflector stones essential to survival, Stave off cold that we need not fear Frostbite to peripheral members, Till sunlight returns with warmth's revival.

Mohave Comfort Fire
To a Louse by Robert Burns translation/interpretation by Michael R. Burch Hey! Where're you going, you crawling hair-fly? Your impudence protects you, barely; I can only say that you swagger rarely Over gauze and lace. Though faith! I fear you dine but sparely In such a place. You ugly, creeping, blasted wonder, Detested, shunned by both saint and sinner, How dare you set your feet upon her— So fine a lady! Go somewhere else to seek your dinner On some poor body. Off! around some beggar's temple shamble: There you may creep, and sprawl, and scramble, With other kindred, jumping cattle, In shoals and nations; Where horn nor bone never dare unsettle Your thick plantations. Now hold you there! You're out of sight, Below the folderols, snug and tight; No, faith just yet! You'll not be right, Till you've got on it: The very topmost, towering height Of miss's bonnet. The needle-tip, a bee sting giving rise to a hive. A sickening delirium coursing mercurial under eyelids, tapeworms and tendrils weaving wildly: teeming, churning tides breaking over greedy teeth (a needy mouth flaying flesh ferociously, a fevered wolverine whipping through a petting zoo). Each agonizing second slowly sliding by, tacky molasses on cloth covering a table in an innocuous American home bruises on mother's face fade (eggplant to jaundice to the crimson of the setting sun dying behind the horizon line {chopped across a counter-top like a broken promise...}).   All the lives we compromise trying to cage a swarm.

i played Dolores Haze sitting sideways on your lap on your birthday i felt kidnapped by incessant language i felt intrigued by genius. i kissed the brunette above your lip old fashioned mustached man. pastry eyes i could've eaten for days. my second gemini was thin and frail high on amphetamines and drunk on ego he weaved in and out of me like a snake looking for peace. he fidgeted nervously after every ****** i gave him (or he gave himself on top of me) mercurial men hell bent on changing the world with no aid beyond the words in their mouths

It's that time again. When rangey youth in wounded utes are sent to pick up tin. Eyes peeled for shiny mangled bikes and steely bits of thing. I want to see the crucible they put it in. Behold the pearly metallurgic mess unfold. A gleaming steaming mass of brassy storm So cooked and cooled and coaxed and clicked and jewelled into mercurial form Then moulded bright and fine once more. This is the Copper loop of life we mine. Eternal Circulated Alchemy Divine.

Metallurgic Circle
Muscles clench like knots on rope prior to any wintry water droplets dripping on my scarecrow frame. There's a moment of cautious pause, my mind waivers the rest of me-- uncomfortable with the atypical developments insisting through western culture's handbook bathing is meant to be relaxing. I agree. So after a thoughtful inhale we dive in. oo! The siberian shock of the frigid liquid landing on warm, pale-rose flesh slowly erodes with an exhale... Cold Shower
There's an ineffable urge to sidle up against masculinity; to allow his mercurial fervor to unleash these lascivious outbursts of lust that dwell inside the depths of my soul, ravishing him with hungered passion; tasting each sinewy muscle pulsing with flickers of want, like a savored sweet chocolate truffle, indulging slowly in every part I can entwine as he shudders with each lick I inflict lingering in his aftertaste....

Truffles
Writhing, the screeching leviathan demands And I cave to save the aching from tricky time slopes Pained craving Wavering but Hit and It’s all loosey goosey goodness Sensing silent magma pulse, whoosh the tummy tingles Droopy ears gape-face giggle no more nowadays A stern turn in old age the silly phase of Too bright, neon common numb tongue rambles Secedes into introspective Crowded walks, broken talks strung into threats clustered and Flung like monkey **** at many-stabbed ego, Brutus? Strangers will eat you The professor thinks I’m funny because I know the answers in class The other day Dingus And Whoseewhatsee tried to alley mug and hurt and end And money! No, rocked nose ran dude! Fine Trying not to fear the outdoors, though The arthropods and phantoms tell me ***** jokes And not to eat my candy Books melt into soupy mercurial elixir I slurp them and belch Educating myself in a barn ******* knowledge On loud faces; empty meat Where you can hear the jingly metal Thing when you shake it, it’s dead no flower They don’t always like me But I’ve got the jeepers creepers behind my peepers And a million lightyears to burn Truth is worth dying Four **** sow Izzeny thing these daze Maybe it was a bust from the start but there’s Always art Quieting the plague that revealed Not so good after all Tiny thorns and all-consuming Waves of red-get-out wrenching, gutted like a fish Overcome, that never went away or found A place to sit Memories arthritic grind a grim gray whetting stone Reduce with juice-cloud, grape teeth cough will never find a home

I am a Mandala
Here we are again, in my darkest night, _I’ve never escaped_ I thought the last stretches of a pitch-black pool did not  reach me. Should I be happy on the crescent carving my brokenness? you said _how beautiful the glimpse of the moonlight is,_ they have been a prosaic, silvery dust in dismal, but now, _they are a rare light in the sky._ I adore things that aren’t mine and so you are, I held an illusion in my desperation, and it wasn’t the universe's fault for sculpting an embodiment of galaxies and stars, such ethereal like you were living in a myth. You can be there and begone or just begone (your mercurial imperative) but this time, I wanted to be left on the traces where you were at.

Moonlight part two
The blue dew is raining in roaring fury! It's a love cascading violently from ****** blue mountain, inviting grit from ocean of courage, to offload tons of bashfulness overload. I reach a dime with hazel gaze to a blue-eyed goddess in the love garden, popping ogle champagne in blind lust to ******** world. I grin! I grin in summary epic! The amorous picnic turn and caress me in mercurial adjectives, embalm me in emotional stiffness,  aloof from the real, unfrozen me into insatiable insanity. Not long, the craze evaporated into eternity!
