Loving you is easy, because you are belovedly lovable. You have love handles, and I never fear falling out of love with you. You have loving arms that you lovingly embrace with. You are double the lovable of any other lover. Many can claim that love is hard, but while life is hard, and we have hit our rough roads while traveling together, it has always been easy loving you. Anyone who doesn't love you needs a copy of love for dummies... Because only a dummy would not be able to see, just how lovable you are. I could compare you to a nursery full of newborns, crossed with a gaggle of puppies and kittens, a playlist of my favorite songs, a cocktail of aphrodisiacs, mixed with every memory of every night spent with good friends, the laughter of children, and the Beatles in their prime, and it wouldn't come close to describing, just how belovedly lovable you are.

Belovedly Loveable
Carrickfergus (1937) - poem by Louis Macneice. I was born in Belfast between the mountain and the gantries To the hooting of lost sirens and the clang of trams; Thence to Smoky Carrick in County Antrim Where the bottle-neck harbour collects the mud which jams The little boats beneath the Norman castle, The pier shining with lumps of crystal salt; The Scotch quarter was a line of residential houses But the Irish quarter was a slum for the blind and halt. The brook ran yellow from the factory stinking of chlorine, The yarn mill called it's funeral cry at noon; Our lights looked over the lough to the lights of Bangor Under the peacock aura of a drowning moon. The Norman walled this town against the country To stop his ears to the yelping of his slave And built a church in the form of a cross but denoting The list of Christ on the cross in the angle of the nave. I was the rectors son, born to the Anglican order, Banned for ever from the candles of the Irish poor; The Chichesters knelt in marble at the end of a transept With ruffs about their necks, their portion sure. The war came and a huge camp of soldiers Grew from the ground in sight of our house with long Dummies hanging from gibbets for bayonet practice And the sentry's challenge echoing all day long; A Yorkshire terrier ran in and out by the gate-lodge Barred to civilians, yapping as if taking affront; Marching at ease and singing 'Who Killed **** Robin?' The troops went out by the lodge and off to the Front. The steamer was camouflaged that took me to England- Sweat and khaki in the Carlisle train; I thought that the war would last for ever and sugar be always rationed and that never again Would the weekly papers not have photos of sandbags And my governess not make bandages from moss And people not have maps above the fireplace With flags on pins moving across and across- Across the hawthorn hedge the noise of bugles, Flares across the night, Somewhere on the lough was a prison ship for Germans, A cage across their sight. I went to school in Dorset, the world of parents Contracted into a puppet world of sons Far from the mill girls, the smell of porter, the salt-mines And the soldiers with their guns. Louis Macneice

I don’t know why but people are so hard to trust, Liars are the main heads I want to bust, They are so crusty like bread crust, When I’m telling the truth, they try to fuss, They be the first ones to cuss, Liars aren’t no where near tough, You know what? I’ve had enough, When you try to talk to them and tell them the whole truth, they huff and puff, They’re dogs, when they see me, “they say ruff ruff” I’m their owner, I’m the boss, I run them, if anything, soon I’ll be their loss, I don’t lie, I come out with honesty, People are so scared to confront me, They stink, they rotten, they ***** the smell, My part, my regrets, I’ll never tell, Some of these liars should hope that they do well, Because one day, they’ll be the main ones that go to jail, I bet they won’t even get bail, If I hear more lies again, it’s going to be a bowl of hell, The truth is what I yell, Liars are what they yell, They don’t know truth, They’re just youth, I’m a full women, Those liars have something, to them, coming, These dumb *** songs are what they keep singing and humming, They are some **** dummies, Lies, lies, lies, The truth always flies, I am never the first one who cries, No one can knock me down, even if they try, I wonder what they’ll say if I just happen to....die

Liars
I. On the blue bridge behind the honey slide, a little girl dreams of see-through lingerie. She wants to surprise her husband with her ***** to greet him at the door after his long day at work. When her friends exile her from the playground, she runs home to pan the television static for ******* When the red numbers skip ahead, she runs to the bookshelf for the medical dictionary. II. “There’s something about Sunday night that makes you want to **** yourself.” When she said this, her homework was finished, and there was no God. III. If pride comes before “The Fall,” I wish it would get off quickly. I’m waiting for the stunt man to trick the bushy-browed girl into stealing morphine pills. Everything he stands for lies on the cutting room floor. No one had the guts to tell him. IV. Once you think to sell the free books out on the table, only Word Perfect 8 for Dummies is left. You’re doing it wrong. V. She lays face down on the carpet. Her scalp burns from the pulling. She can’t breathe. If only she could make them turn around in time for the blood, but they don’t come when called. VI. You were at the right place at the right time. It could have been me. It should have been me. VII. When the deli forgets your chocolate cheesecake, you’ll ask if it’s because you’re black. You claim you’ll eat the cookie they sent by mistake, but you knew it was coming. There was no mistake. Take a look at the receipt.

Seven Deadly Sins
"So what does depression feel like" It feels like trying to run through the sand after you have just climbed out of the ocean. Like trying desperately to hang on to the merry-go-round spinning out of control. Like struggling to keep your head above water in a wave pool. Like trying to climb up a steep slide and slipping down just as you almost reach the top. Like gasping for air after you've had the wind knocked out of you. Like having a crush on life knowing life will never like you back. Do you understand now?

A World Without Wi-Fi      »by Megha Elizabeth Koshy. ------------------------------------- The people in the world Like machines they go With tiny commanders On their palms At the streets, at the malls At the office, at the homes. Some even chattering to their buddies At the next door! People behave like dummies Who carefully keep ears sharp To there notification  tones, But never to their mummies! Kids who pay attention for their Comments and likes But never bother to brush their teeth twice! People are slaves of technology Like electronic gadgets If not plugged in they run out of life. Now just imagine.... A World Without Wi-Fi For one single day People may fall sick And some will even die! --------------------------------------

A World Without Wi-Fi
if you ran away itd have to be digital and thats pathetic. its just downright sad you have to eat bites of gigabytes to survive because you cant swallow meat, that to live unfettered youd have to string copper wires through your veins, but youve never been anything but capital p Pathetic so you think you can stand that idea. after all, it was the unfeeling internet anonymous who taught you to breathe deeply when you were anxious, and how the messy act of human reproduction worked (imperfect and fleshy, you thought). they taught you words your living tongue refuses to pronounce. between chat programs and status updates you formed multimedia connections, held fast by streams of text and data, and even now they seem more real than anything reality has presented you. in an era far away with a hint of nostalgia you freely immerse yourself in childhood where your friends homes are only a click away. you feed them dinner with a sense of purpose. Technology has made it possible

And customers, often quite rude, Dummies that drag in their brood, Scrooges and harlots half **** Still can not drag down her mood. For this is not where she will stay This will be, soon, yesterday She is her own sunshine ray She plans her own life her own way Studying hard every night To strengthen her mind she will fight, Managing well, money tight, From her might, to height, and the light.

Ode to my Waitress
IF you ever decide the dream is NOT dead I left you my pillow laying on your bed. There’s a drop of my blood on the floor of your bedroom from when the fan almost cut off my long clumsy fingers. I have shed my gold hair all over your city. Just like the cat and the dog that I am. This would be enough to concoct a magical potion IF you ever decide the dream is NOT dead.

Voodoo For Dummies
I We sit on a tailgate pointed toward the hills, where life ripples down the slopes gathers in pools of the creek and begins again to climb up the peaks and tree trunks on the other side. It colors the breaths we take green. Children run here, learn their legs, as stalks graze their shoulders and block their view. They get dizzy as rows rush by. We rein in our bovine friends here, watch them jump and kick, see them call in spring II We walk between rows of highly stacked cement and exhale smog that drifts upwards to join the cloud of soot. We walk among so many abrasive shoulders. We get hung up on abrasive personalities. A gray wave in a black sea we’re vapidly drifting. Legs move quickly to stay afloat. swimming. Swimming always. Swimming further. III We sit for pictures with clogged eyes and stuffed chests We coo at portraits of masks and dummies We write books for laughs and money and friends We read a little to find the romance and sorrow and lay cold on the slab while our own pages turn. IV We pass out of porcelain faces with their tightly drawn eyes that cast gazes over shoulders, homes of last night’s kisses. We pass out of the electrical current of youth numbed and still alive with eyes that look like stained glass windows of the Church of Holy Suffering. V We wait for Sunday night to turn the dial to the Blues. We keep throwing something for an animal to pick up and return. We string beads and sell them for redemption. VI We think of our friends. They’re draped in a future, warmed with hot blood rushing through their veins, slamming fists to tables, pronouncing their minds. ripping off dresses, sharing their madness. tossing paint to canvas, showing their hearts. asking questions to startle, proving their love. VII We think of our parents. dead and gone, dead to us, dead by self-proclamation - Is their blood cold and still in their withered veins? Have they their fill of slamming fists and ripped dresses and tossed paint and startling questions? VIII We are sad.

Twisting Thoughts (6x6)
I think I'm going to write a book school shootings for dummies just to **** people off just so it could get banned that way all of my other books could be about fairies and flowers and endless unconditional love and people would buy them "I want to read the school shooting guy's book" because as much as people pretend to be P.C. we're still in the Colosseum screaming at the top of our lungs for the blood splash catharsis and we think we are so civilized

civilization without the civilized
*He lets me get broke... Just to make me richer He lets me get weak... Just to make me stronger He lets me look foolish... Just to express His wisdom. He crushes mighty-warlord Goliaths With a shepherd boy, a sling and a stone! He frightens entire Syrian armies With four lepers, no RPGs, no riffles! He teaches kings "Humility For Dummies" By making ***** out of Nebuchadnezzars. I ponder some of the things He does Terrible! But I find them amusing And while I chuckle at His wondrous works I'm reminded that He loves me dearly And He added a touch of humor to the bible To express His lovely smile on my unworthy face!* © Raphael Uzor

"Angels in the Sun"
Young men in France would clamber to that call, To drink their fill of bottles filled with wine; They lined them up and shot them on the wall. Sat huddled in small cafes in the fall, When news of war came creeping down the vine, Young men in France would clamber to that call. Their basic training taught them how to sprawl, As target dummies waited in a line; They lined them up and shot them on the wall. They marched to battle, lean and fit and tall, And when the whistles blew to give the sign, Young men in France would clamber to that call. In no-mans-land, their charge became a crawl, And in the mud they cursed the German swine; They lined them up and shot them on the wall. The Germans countered, swiftly taking all The captured and the wounded to a mine; Young men in France would clamber to that call: They lined them up and shot them on the wall.

On The Wall
I've always been the kid in the hall Outside the office door of some metaphorical "principal" Donning a dunce cap, back to the wall Anticipation spikes in general This time it's special When waiting for the next hypothetical, often hypocritical, shoe to fall I make it a double Dribble and drop the ball Taking on the challenge of life was a bad call The order's too tall, don't try it y'all What I've been given to work with is abysmal Can't rely on it being factual at all A criminally out of date owners manual A For Dummies series appealing to a low level criminal Vaguely creating, and/or aiding, this failure ritual Oh the unmitigated gall Scheduling my burial service to take place before the funeral Fuucking brutal I hate it and it seems the feelings mutual The line stepping is habitual The backward motion is perpetual Not sure any of this is avoidable But, what do I know... ...everything and nothing is impossibly possible ©2023
