Have you ever watched the stars fall from your eyes?
Not many have, it’s a terror that masks itself as blue
Once the stars fall they reveal the darkness beneath
The absolute
That’s what I call it, it’s an immenant force awoken by madness
It exhumes itself from a dusted space and collects the spare thoughts
It feeds on my lungs, it rips pieces of my soul
Dragging them down to the plunging tides to be washed and preserved into a formulation of unbridled torment
I have not the slightest to why my heart beats in two awful tones
Maybe it’s the excitement, maybe the moans
I need not worry for breath falls short
I always reconcile back to the night it made itself known
A dwelling creature beneath my stomach
Risen from the ashes and buried in self pity
The sad clown of desire without as much as a tear I stood there petrifical in glances
Watching the bottom of the glass come closer, it snuck up on me as it’s fragments plunged into my chest and brought with it the terror
Frozen in silence I heard only the wails of my lungs

You are a melody.
Melancholic.
Mysterious.
Masked.
A master of words.

Sometimes I wonder…

What worlds have you seen?
What worlds have you known?
What has broken you?
What dreams would you tear your soul for?

What life would you desire...
If
You could have the world?
Has anyone asked you that?

But...

You’re in space
But not really.
Reaching for the unknown…
Higher and higher
And higher you go…

You have a destination.
You are determined.

But.
You.
Are.
Floating.
Kind of don’t know where you’re going.

"Can i be carefree?
Is it okay to be lost?"

Just.
Close your eyes.
Feel the air.
Around you.
You’re on cloud 9.
Spinning
Whirling.

STOP.

You start falling.
Down.
Into the dangerous depths of
Your own demise.

But...

The thing is...
This time,
YOU can stop it.
And you do.
This poem is inspired by an instrumental/chillstep song by Andreas B. called "floating"...and I also incorporated some of the traits of the person who introduced me to his song/ his "theme". This song is so important to this person. And I just had to include him in my poem.

I might revise or change it up later tho...but we’ll see! Do checkout Andreas B on soundcloud or youtube! I highly recommend listening to the song whilst reading my words.

gums gums oh they go
where go where run
I don't know about everything either

and all step and all run
where I run and again
gums gums oh they go

day after day like water
both in paint and turning
I don't know about everything either

what do I know about what I do
what about me to be after all
gums gums oh they go

where are we all going where we are
where are we going step
I don't know about everything either

but listen to me listen
I exist and everything is ahead
gums gums oh they go
I don't know about everything either

Things don't work and fall apart
You knock the door, it's 'nope'
You plant seeds with a hope
Yet no reply, time has stopped

You fear to get off your way
Terrified! For your grail
Is aloof in their scale
Paralyzed! Next step is blear

Back up! Hold on a minute
Sit back, enjoy the ride
Sole value? - inner guide
What they dictate? - not a dime!

Do you see debris yonder?
Shedding bits of your tears
Crack is where your love flares
Wreck is where you leave old fears

Trust the wisdom of your cor
For all good in you - soar!
All brave in you will pull
Mutual 'Aloha' next door.

-Aloha-

As a dear friend you care for me
Sure as the air I breathe
To love me anymore than this
Not sure if I believe
Each day anew the Sun will rise
But nighttime hides away
Thus, your love and affection
If here, will never stay

Was given Cinderella's ball
Before midnight's last strike
Must scurry from the pageantry
Else, face a certain fright
Extravagance would disappear
Revealing to the Prince
Her true self in the deepest way
The pains that made her wince

Afraid once she was vulnerable
Find out was all a lie
A ****** that would pierce through her heart
With certainty she'd die
Truth though, if given that moment
Each flaw the Prince could see
Each one a part of Cinderella;
Part of her beauty

Suddenly, she understood
She did not have to hide
What was closed off long time ago
And buried deep inside
Still with some fear, her heart she gave
And with a lightning strike
Fulfilled with happiness and love
And stepped into the light
I was toiling over the structure of this poem. I often like short succinct lines but almost every even and odd line are paired and could easily make four, four-line stanzas each with 7 iambs. Curious what others might think. Any comments are appreciated.

A magic mo
      --- without
a teary backdrop!
One step down
beneath the Moon.
Gone with the wind.
Once in the nick of time
upon a peak of the noon.

One step away
Two feet at bay
Three thoughts sway
Dangling
In my gaze.
A door certain,
The distance short,
Viscosity of air
Uncertain.

With all the steps
That have pulled me
Here,
And with all the
Inter-flows of life curving
My path
Left and right,
I have come,
Oh expectant One.

Thank you
To all.

My gaze loses focus
But remains on one.
There is no handle.
The door is yet to open.

Thank you
For recentering my gaze
Each and every time.

Whether it be the flow
Beneath my feet,
By my arms or,
In my mind and heart,
I...

Thank you

I, a wistful soul,
Have always been
On the verge of you.
Each push and pull
Of the flow of tide
Almost pushing me through
And yet
Here I am.

Thank you

My body lays
Sensing the flows
Eyes closed
Thinking about
The One who expects me
Beyond the door.

Nature is feminine by nature
off the man keeps a step away.
Touch it not but do not sway
eye on to this butterfly
que sera, sera on the way!

i am not as brave as i was at the start

Take one step forward
just one step
one step is progress
she tells me
but how do you take a step forward
when you don't know
which direction you are facing
It takes some time
to gain control
To rid myself from the concrete
But I take my first step
and the cement begins to break
it's left scars on my feet
they feel painful
but free
I'm wounded
but still standing
and which direction I'm headed
I don't yet know
but standing
is enough for now
