After getting so close to you and also getting to close to loosing you forever, I decided to redefine importance. While I was redefining importance, I got to understand how far friendship can stretch. After that, I came to a conclusion that friendship is a lot more greater than love. Below I'm going to give some emphasis which I hope will make you understand. LOVE Greedy: You get so absorbed in the moments you share with this person, you never want anyone else to share them, cause you're afraid his or her attention would be taken away from you. FRIENDSHIP Sharing: You understand that one of the basic principle in life is sharing, so even if you have breath taking moments, you allow others experience it as well cause you're sure friendship is enough to go round. LOVE Has a limit: When people are in "In Love", if it's not meant to be, it eventually ends and this people turn from lovers to strangers. Then start referring to each other with past tense. FRIENDSHIP Knows no limit: When you are friends with a person, in all honesty there's no such thing as the end. Even if circumstances takes you far away, you see no point in becoming strangers. You just kick start where you left off, and in no time catching up is done. No heart breaks. No past tense. LOVE Heartbreak: Because we only want our partners to ourself, or cause we feel like we've attained a certain point in love, then we have the right to be in the know of every situation going on in the other persons mind. Hence the heart break when a mistake is made. FRIENDSHIP Forgiveness: Because we don't wanna lose what we have, and we understand that we are human who have strengths and weaknesses, when a friend offends, we forgive, we don't see it as the end of the road cause in friendship, we understand forgiveness is a basic principle. LOVE No boundaries: Love makes us think we are on soul, you are me, I am you, there should be nothing between us and these prompts us to be all up in each other's faces, never having  alone times, never doing what we enjoy even if our partners don't like it. Love doesn't give room for secret hide outs. There's always crossing the boundary. FRIENDSHIP Boundaries: Friendship understands that we have our individual differences. Friendship knows when you to give you time to sulk, cause you need to heal. Friendship knows how to allow you enjoy your stupid snack even if the other friend doesn't like it. Friendship doesn't make you feel bad for having an opinion, instead it makes fun of it and you all laugh. Friendship understands signs and friendship will always come back for you even if you have a big head. LOVE Jealous: Love gets jealous and causes heart break. FRIENDSHIP Doesn't give a **** Friendship enjoys the moment with you and no one sees the point to be jealous. Friendship is not common, but love is everywhere. When you find a friend, keep him or her cause if it slips off your hands, you might never get it back. Love can be amazing if you have the attributes of a good friend. You hardly find a two in one package. If you do, **** You're lucky. If you don't, always remember FRIENDSHIP CAN BE SHARED

Waiting for me after a long shower and shampoo I dry my bronze silky skin and come to you, Your smiling sweetly sitting on the edge of Marble countertop, waiting while your loving gaze at me never drops. I reach out my moist hands, we brush, You shake nervously and seem to turn to mush. Your wondering really how innocent are my fluid motions, I'm smirking, while grasping a scented lotion. You sit there amused blushing from Pink to rainbow, Each angle gives you a new mellow, a glow, wow! I'm missing something , something I pretend to forget, You look impatient now with sighs of regret. You sulk as I glimpse with a lean of my head, through the frame of my door from my now made up bed, I pull up my slacks, your sunny smile fades to dreary, I put on my shirt, your turning the evil fairy. I know you feel there's someone else, Some disappearing genie or magical elf, because you sense but never see, Me happy in other pleasant company. You want to be all over me that much is clear. I want to take you too in my arms dear, But today will have to be just that touch, Your lingering smell on me makes others lust. But silently you understand, Your sealed mouth is as dry as sand, I blow a kiss as I pick up my key, I know in the dark you'll wait for me................ Because your MY perfume

is what I tell them, now. "I am only going to hurt you. I promise." I will laugh with you and I will let you see my core, and you will want so terribly much to be a part of me you will do almost anything. "I told you not to." I will let you in. I will open myself completely and make myself vulnerable at your feet. You will trust me. " Stop." I will tell you about my family and you will meet them. You will think you understand me. Did you think I was lying when I told you I was a piece of **** I ******* told you. I'll make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the universe. You will know in your bones that I am yours alone. It will be magical and true, at the time. We will be in love with each other. Madly, crazily, undoubtedly and completely in love and it will be the most wonderful and pure and good thing that has ever happened to us both and we will pledge eternal loyalty to each other and we will both mean it and we will be happy beyond our comprehension. Then... I will change. I will grow tired of you. I will become distant. I will become indifferent. I will become cruel. You will be confused and cry and plead and pout and sulk and berate and beleaguer. You will question yourself and your motives, like it was your fault or your failing when it was neither. If it makes you feel better, I will apologize. I won't mean it though. Not all the way, not like I should. It was just me being me and doing exactly what I said I would.

Don't fall in love with me
This Day, two Biped Ponies each of you ride, Strolling along the lane Lovers enjoy To watch this Sweet Scene from way far behind, A Cheque I'd like to cash-in this Friday Yes, for Pence-Tales of Romance and Success Thinking to Follow is easy enough How many, do those Squirrels squeak at-less The Time which Currency states on the Rough I guess Luck's Fair in Friendship does depend On a Brisket-List sorted in custom To where each of you in Common does spend, Well, better than sulk out of sheer boredom. The Bullseye's paid, admitting my Defeat, Licking my own Fab's whilst hugging the Street.

SONNET TRIBUTE SUNDRY - FIFTEEN - TOM DALEY
I call you for dinner at the roast beef you glare you sulk at the table and kick at my chair "I don't want it" you cry "I hate veggies" you moan but a young boy can't live on Mcnuggets alone! You call me a meanie you say it's not fair to make you eat green stuff "I won't eat it, so there!" You hunch up your shoulders arms crossed, lips shut tight your stare is defiant as you fight for your right to eat what you want to and do as you please my 5 year old rebel with scabs on both knees You'll eat it eventually and I'll secretly laugh 'cause round two is coming I'm running your bath!

Sunday roast -No!!!
Spring comes little, a little. All April it rains. The new leaves stick in their fists; new ferns still fiddleheads. But one day the swifts are back. Face to the sun like a child You shout, 'The swifts are back!' Sure enough, bolt nocks bow to carry one sky-scyther Two hundred miles an hour across fullblown windfields. Swereee swereee. Another. And another. It's the cut air falling in shrieks on our chimneys and roofs. The next day, a fleet of high crosses cruises in ether. These are the air pilgrims, pilots of air rivers. But a shift of wing, and they're earth-skimmers, daggers Skilful in guiding the throw of themselves away from themselves. Quick flutter, a scimitar upsweep, out of danger of touch, for Earth is forbidden to them, water's forbidden to them, All air and fire, little owlish ascetics, they outfly storms, They rush to the pillars of altitude, the thermal fountains. Here is a legend of swifts, a parable — When the Great Raven bent over earth to create the birds, The swifts were ungrateful. They were small muddy things Like shoes, with long legs and short wings, So they took themselves off to the mountains to sulk. And they stayed there. 'Well,' said the Raven, after years of this, 'I will give you the sky. You can have the whole sky On condition that you give up rest.' 'Yes, yes,' screamed the swifts, 'We abhor rest. We detest the filth of growth, the sweat of sleep, Soft nests in the wet fields, slimehold of worms. Let us be free, be air!' So the Raven took their legs and bound them into their bodies. He bent their wings like boomerangs, honed them like knives. He streamlined their feathers and stripped them of velvet. Then he released them, Never to Return Inscribed on their feet and wings. And so We have swifts, though in reality, not parables but Bolts in the world's need: swift Swifts, not in punishment, not in ecstasy, simply Sleepers over oceans in the mill of the world's breathing. The grace to say they live in another firmament. A way to say the miracle will not occur, And watch the miracle.

I’ve never understood the pull of the nightlife. I was always content to hang in my cave and enjoy the homelife. Every now and then I do wag my tail and purse the trail of the pack, Always lingering right at the back of the queue. I follow their scent when they descend into the night, While they ascend the social status stairway. From my perch at the bar I watch the social sheep dancing to the beat of popularity: The girls show off their twirls and brunette curls, Inviting you into the funhouse down under that never shuts for festivities. The boys weigh up their options with the biceps on display and perfect quiffs held up by ten tins of hairspray. Hunting through the flocks of feet trying to find themselves a piece of meat for an all night feast. When he finally finds his muse he bites her lip and grabs her hair, pulling her in without a care about those who stop and stare. They kiss for seconds and he whispers in here ear, “I think we should get outta’ here.” She giggles grabs his hand and leaves through the exit at the rear. His friends give him a clap and cheer, whilst his jealous rivals sulk and sneer. After a few too many drinks I leave through the front, holding my head low to avoid a fight. Bearing the brunt of another unsuccessful night with no young light to take home and ignite. I fall on my floor with a case of helicopter head as the room spins in circles and squares in front of my eyes. My lasting thoughts are of the day ahead; hanging dry and feeling as if I’d rather die. It's just another day in my nightlife.

Is the sky too blue for you Or the seas too vast Or your life too full And your loved ones always beside? Are you too happy And that you sulk about that? What is your vindication for Your qualms being selfish? What gives you the blind eye When everyone else struggles? What makes you cry For the little things in life? And you complain that life's unfair When you have a roof overhead And a family that smiles.

Ungrateful
Disclaimer: I did this as a creative rewrite for one of my university lit courses, and all the inspiration and quotes belong to Robert Browning the original writer of "My Last Duchess" HIS LAST DUCHESS ARRIVEDERCI _“That’s my last Duchess painted on the wall, Looking as if she were alive.”_ (I’m not) Alas! Me, “a wonder.” He calls. Now wretchedly refined and pasteurized. To be consumed, now, for genteel eyes. Pity! Should you ever see me roll mine. Behind those curtains, you might have been surprised To see my countenance whimpering At you Sir; and seething, at _Him._ Must you not be fooled by that sickly decorum Upon which his manly pride resides. The Duke—what rich talent in envy he has, And of pithy idiosyncrasies! Pardon me now As I speak of his infamies: Is it not, Too preposterous of a Duke, to sulk And take offense, over a blush? (As if the blush was his to wield and shun.) Am I not allowed to flush _at all?_ And must I be ashamed of being swooned By the casual offers of life’s grandiosities? Each and every, dropping of the daylight, Ripen cherries in May and chivalrous gentlemen, my dear white mule; must I then weep at them all, only to prove my fancy for him. And when does gracious gratitude itself become in vain: a finite honour— deemed excessive elsewhere? Never had he plucked me out, for censure, Before he gave commands, I knew he did To pluck the smile out of my face. Utterly clueless—he thought I was To find myself throttled, for immodesty. A wife, an appendage to a Duke, Loosely felled, to stroke a green-eyed ego. My fault it seems, is a mere generosity Of affection: falsely opined, if not Misread, to fare a defect of temperament, A chronic malady, doth be cured by death. To cement the farce he will, soon, bring you Downstairs to meet a friend. (a fiend) A prized possession: Neptune, taming a sea-horse. His hubris incarnate, cast in bronze. But you must know the truth, for the sea-horse Did not perish for naught, she is freed from him At last.

60 sunshines, 59 nightfalls till I face the day 40 topics held in to regurgitate, **** and span for the marker man to give a brother a break. Wait, I ain't done Got anxiety about two more chores in head Not to ***** and moan but ******* Getting tired of this **** What's the point to push if you don't know where to go Blindful blissful ignorance? They say, and you go. What subject? What ever is most respected. What job? What ever brings financial comfort. What about this? Nah, you ain't good at that. And so you sulk ever so distracted Hearing the drip drop taps, splat on to the sink. The metallic ting of the radiator reverberates as dormant inner silence sings. Forever more. A didactic sore for the ears, Apologies in advance, Though regardless you must hear it. Never run to please others Rather, focus and listen to the deep.

My Own Monster
Like a lotus emerging Unsullied From the mud, So have you appeared, In this world, Yet not of it. I consider myself Most blessed of all men For having glimpsed upon your face. Not even Michelangelo, With all his magnificent frescoes, Could have conceived of such beauty. The most flowery prose of Marquez wilts, Inadequate to fully describe your radiance. The supple, rich compositions of Mozart Are a rancorous cacophony Compared to the melody of your voice. Your entire being is a testament To the masterful craftsmanship of our Lord. I may circumnavigate this world Sample the most luscious of delicacies Climb the lofty peak of Everest Swim the English Channel Trek the Ural Mountains Watch the Caribbean sunset Walk the entirety of the Great Wall But none of these shall hope to compare with the blissful moment When my eyes fell upon you. It was truly a day of days, One which no other can rival. You stood out A swan Regal in its repose Amongst Ducks Babbling away In their ignominy. I have found my muse -- Alas! -- But for a moment. Yet I shall not rage. Neither shall I weep. Just because He got to you first. Just because He is Perhaps More worthy Of you. I shall not fly Into a maelstrom of emotion Sulk with resentment And seethe with envy Just for losing Something Someone I never even had. Just because She will never be mine. I shall not have To lower and abandon myself To the maddening clutches Of grief To wantonly fling My artless soul At the burning altar Of undignified melancholy. For it is foolish. Yet I cannot help But do exactly this. Act like the boy, The child, That I am. For what else am I? I am not a man Like him After all. Not adequate For anything Resembling a soulmate For anyone Like her. I can never hold you In my arms Never gaze Into your eyes My ears can never hear you Whisper Sweet nothings. And My lips shall never Meet yours. So what Else Can I do But mourn?

SONNET TRIBUTE SUNDRY - TWENTY-NINE - TOM DALEY
My mother groand! my father wept, Into the dangerous world I leapt: Helpless, naked, piping loud: Like a fiend hid in a cloud. Struggling in my fathers hands: Striving against my swaddling bands: Bound and weary I thought best To sulk upon my mother’s breast.

Infant Sorrow
I'm damaged Dented, torn and broken I have wear and tear in all my places from years of being built up... ...just to be hammered down Years of emotional turmoil from someone that should have been a support instead of the dynamite. In places where I shouldn't have been hurt I now have barbed wire up to protect The things that were done to me, said to me, or put upon me by you... ...make me who I am it's true. But some experiences are best not even told in horror movies let alone lived; by someone who thought they were loved. Words and phrases of endearment kept me there Even through the pain I thought I could fix it. You leaving me hurt at first I admitt Codependency is an awful thing. But I soon realized that I don't need you, desire you or want anything to do with you. My life is better off without you and your mind games. I may be dented, Hell I may even be infixable from all the crap you put me through. But now that I don't care what you think I can live with my dents and tears. Makes me a better person to know that while I am strong enough to deal with a hell relationship I will never allow myself to be in one again. I won't allow myself to be treated like that again. I know now that I am too good for you For where I offered you everything... ...you offered nothing except for lyes and cheating. I moved on, something I was told you really hated. I'm now truly loved by someone who I intend to share the rest of my life with Someone who loves me for me and is working to repare the damage you left. Good-bye to all your crap and pettiness I don't miss you the way you wanted me to. I'm happy and there's nothing you can do about it except for sulk. You're not the one putting the smile on my face. Never were and never will be.

Good-bye to all your crap and pettiness I don't miss you the way you wanted me to. I'm happy and there's nothing you can do about it except for sulk. You're not the one putting the smile on my face. Never were and never will be.

My Heart is a drunken bipolar maniac with masochistic tendencies . My Heart does not care about your feelings, or the fretting of my apologetic Mind. It is ravenous and deranged; it will devour your succulent hopes and spit out the bones. My Heart is one mean ************ it is a rabid wolverine with a hangover who ate razor-blades for breakfast, and no, it does not want to go steady or hold hands. It wants to rip the soft white throat of your infatuation and watch your eloquent offerings pool around your feet. Unless, of course, you do not want me. For met with that alluring indifference, my unhinged pit-bull of a Heart will curl at your feet with doe-eyed meekness and follow you from room to room in an agony of adoration while Self-Respect and Dignity sulk in some dusty corner, thinking "Please God, won't somebody muzzle that crazy *****

A giant squid is friend to none Fighting, killing all the same Only strength and steady aim Can send the squidly monster on the run A giant squid, a fearsome foe Quick like snake and strong like cow Fight the beast if you know how Otherwise it's time to go A tiny squid, a little friend Knows the key to tame the hulk Have him speak and do not sulk Tears won't save you from a squidly end Cheers for all, good times are on the way The giant squid, he meant no harm at all The tiny squid has saved us from the fall Bless his squidly wisdom on this day

A Giant Squid is Friend to None
I could never finish writing off your name, with your strawberry scent vibrating towards mine and your hooded eyes that covers the wrinkles and your cheek dampens when you crook a smile, I could never stop writing you. Maybe I was just drawing a thin line with heaven and a tightrope with my eyes close and hell bent towards the unending loophole of my forsaking fantasies, I guess I might stay here. There was something about you that I cannot forsake nor repaint with foreign colors and another texture — you were as a majestic being in my lucid dream. That even though I cannot recount my fingers one or two or five or ten, I can picture the deepening hole of your dimples whenever you give the world another unbreathable cheeky beam and I sulk here, waiting for another neon glow of that majestic world in my dreamlike prophetic future. Something told me it was you. As I bear witness another beauty in the realm of my alternative home, maybe then, peering at the sky while I was on a tightrope is worth every penny of sleep and drowsiness gulping another 90's wine.

You think the red lines you always wear, Will create a better tomorrow? You think that just by wasting away, You'll end all the pain and the sorrow? You think that it's just too hard to live, And now you are bidding your goodbye; You think that it will all be better, If you'd just depart from us and die. Well, quit it, shut up! You do not know! You don't think of what happens after! You think once you're dead, the pain is gone, And all that you leave us is laughter?! You're selfish, you are! Did you not think, Of what happens when we hear the news? That your mother, upon your bedroom door, Would scream, seeing you tied to the noose! Your brother would just stay in his room, And would listen to your playlist then; Your father would keep up his face at work, But would weep thinking of way back when. Your friends would cut all their classes just, To go back to the places you've marked Your boyfriend would cry at your picture, And would sulk with a stone-heavy heart. The neighbors too would pay their respects, And would send flowers upon your wake. Your mother would just stare at the wall, Waiting for you to come back someday. And they'll all think that it was their fault, As to why you left them this sorrow. You think that it's just you who'd be hurt, If you were but a corpse tomorrow? The people you know, the things you've done, The relationships you've begotten, The love you've made us feel and cherish, Don't think that it was all forgotten! So please, my friend. Don't think it will end, If you would leave this world forever. Don't ever think it's just you, because-- All of our hearts are tied together.

clear thumbtacks hold the few blades of grass collected from the meadows of the Magnificent Days. no baby blanket can wrap up these times; no perfume from the 80's mask such greatness. driving home at 8:56 in february feels like four-thirteen a.m. while it's raining (how strange) we don't feel like talking, we don't feel like junk food but scratchy blankets to tuck in the snow-less mountains this time of year. something has to cover them, because our society doesn't approve of ****** or happiness, really for our smoke detectors are dead and the mirrors are stained the rugs are frayed and our poetry ***** our candles smell like grandmothers but that future for us isn't so far away. we focus on the water that will burst past the controlled walls in a few months; that's so close (too close) to tell because we are told we won't end up being what we thought we'd wanted at sixteen. our christmas lights are getting dull and we don't strive to make people jealous anymore. we just sulk on the loss of the Magnificent Days, bright and kind.

When it comes to strong form When angles are always precisely norm Grows an alluring mathematically touched creation Inspired by pure calculated scientific divination Such an alluring symmetry to behold Causing the circle’s envy to unfold For this angled beauty’s strength enforced Its sold core mass equally divorced It’s rigid looks captivating us all Luring architects to its enchanting call Ancient Greek hands carving stone shrines Securing their beauty for all times Its slight outer angles enduringly tease Yearning us to brush with ease Who came up with such design? Was it indeed a gift divine? However it did come to be We all can enjoy with glee Well all but rectangle and square As they sulk with envious glare Murmuring curses over hexagon’s slight curve Endlessly plotting to mathematicians they serve Scheme upon scheme developed to suppress The sheer allure designed to impress Despite all this the hexagon persists Engaging us all in mathematical trysts Never will we lose an eye No matter how hard we try For the beauty a hexagon reigns Over the kingdom of geographical gains Forget not what you see here Our ancestors have made it clear Line upon line attached in twine Measured precisely from sips of wine The hexagon is a wonder indeed Allowing us our own mounted steed

When you're 70, you're gonna look like a piece of flab anyway. We're all gonna look like a piece of flab anyway but that's not the point you're absolutely beautiful. It doesn't seem to mean anything though I don't quite understand how to make one feel beautiful if they can't love themselves. Nobody should be killing themselves over goals that are almost impossible to achieve in body image, ESPECIALLY if they're healthy to begin with, you wanna look skinny, then have fun getting skinny, staying skinny and living skinny. Maaaaaaan. Nobody wants to just eat salad. Eat what the **** you want. just don't ******* stuff yourself every time! god ****** girls, you're all ******* stupid for killing yourselves over this body image thing. you can all be beautiful, as long as you feel good about yourself, but I mean...if being skinny as a toothpick is your ultimate goal. If that's how you think you'll truly achieve your hapiness. Be my guest, try it out, tell me how it feels when ya get there. tips: **** what people have to say, if you have some extra weight, but are HEALTHY, then **** them! if you're truly upset, don't sulk, and do something about it then. Don't be ******* brainwashed by society, SOCIETY IS STUPID LOL. Why on earth would you want to do the SAME THING that EVERYBODY else is doing? I don't understand. You ******* idiots

LOUE LABOURS WONNE ( for Kyle and Laura ) we have as Shakespeare says "...neglected time..." like all lovers we lost in the kiss eclipsed the hours that strive to contain us leaving Time to sulk tapping a toe waiting upon us so the world can continue but ha - do we care we care - not for the ticking of the clock and all earthly what nots our souls gone AWOL our laughter staining the air like music we but away "...away the scene begins to cloud..." and leave these lovers to do without much ado what they will

Oh, Genocide A nation bathed in blood- white flags now become a leaf shaped body bag With faded eyes, through  screams and cries- we sift through falsehoods speech... Colonial, North Holocaust: Unatural Eulogy; Ancient Island Soul, Turtle's Mind-Spirit The Land, no slave to man From far and wide,   oppress those left, We sulk, in shame and greed.
