Eyes
Nahin Nov 18
In the end,
what matters only is-
how well you look
into the eyes of
your child,

being brave to stand
as a hero or
ashamed as a villain.
Some justifications are so true they even touch the blinds.

Call
Nahin Nov 15
The leaves don't fall,
earth calls them down.

If I call you, love,
will you come to me now?
Timeless moments

Broken Rules
Nahin Nov 13
1st rule was broken,
Two were kept.
3rd one was you-
My last, forever, late.
Sometimes moving on doesn't really go the way we desired it to be. Instead, it becomes twice a wreak of heart.

Moon
Nahin Nov 27
The sky doesn't smile today.
It has the imperfectly carved moon.
A bright lit hollow upon our heads
Lightening the earth like a
Lone in dark street light.
Sometimes what I think when I see moonlight.

Some secret lives
Nahin Nov 13
The love
you've kept so long
in the wait
for someone unknown,

Does it still
keep burning
every night
When you leave
the bed awhile &
stare at
the lone vacant sky?
Some loves are untold mysteries like the torn pages of a diary never shown.

Hope
Nahin Nov 21
He expects her everyday
longer than hope.
Sitting on benches,
leaving coffee cold.
A stranger sits beside me everyday.
Nahin Nov 21
When you're done with chores,
Taking the dishes to the sink,
gently rubbing each until one's
left that you mindlessly rub-
Is it true that I'm gone?

Albums of long lost memories
kept aside your closet beneath
neatly folded clothes- when touched,
you avoid them intentionally-
Is it true that I'm gone?

When pages of book flap in wind-
passing by you beside window,
your vacant gaze upon a line-
that stirred thoughts behind time,
Is it true that I'm gone?

Why is it that your coffee
left on table often gets cold?
Distracted- you sense an hour
passes by like your secret brief sigh.
Is it true that I'm gone?

Late at night, when lights go off-
birds go numb, in screaming silence,
is it that you still make a wish
for me in your dreams?
Is it true that I'm gone?
Once a man had died in war. But he left a letter for his wife. A letter of confrontations. A letter of unuttered love.

Strangers
Nahin Nov 28
The boy I met on the river bank
Told me a truth
Unasked, unruth -

How do you smile
without a fake?
As if,
To cast a fire
And burn on a lake.
Some confrontations of unnoticed truths.

Remember
Nahin Nov 12
Some bitter tastes don't remind
Us of sweet, rather make us remember
The people whom we shared the taste with.
In this familiar way, some scattered voices whisper

“Sometimes it's good to feel that you belong.
Sorrows never really made us sad.
Not being able to share them did.”
Some sudden moments take us back to a time, to a taste and of course to some people.

Edge of a street
Nahin Nov 13
We walk along
the edge of a street
In clumsy toes
and warm likely feet.

Thus in apart, you hold,
stand where you are
turn back and see,
to look, to find,
and catch my chin
in your soft palms
in this empty street
and place a gentle kiss.

Then we smile.
And you walk along
the edge of the street.
Some moment in between loved ones are the missing pieces of our hearts that come after their death.

Winter Breaths
Nahin Nov 27
I see cloak of winter
wrapped in foggs of our sighs,
in between hopes,
in between lies,
out of warmth,
out of cries.

Fortune tells winter-
Tomorrow if  I
wishfully might die,
winter is cold, winter is blind.
The pain of poor when winter passes by.

On My Forehead
Nahin Nov 14
While asleep, I sense you hand
on my forehead.
As a drop of your tears
fall on my cheek,

upon seeing the way I'm sick all day,
this love is worth of
not being well for a thousand years.
The beauty of love
