When crypto fans approach us And say “We’re on the same team” Invite them to grasp our vision And see if they share our dream Say, “Great, now you’re joining us to… Adopt seizure resistant money? Boost personal power and accountability? Separate money from state control and abuse? Restore proper capital allocation through hard money? Forsake the fiat fraud and cancel the Cantillon privilege? Allow people to simply save and store value through time? Cultivate new freedom for billions of people under tyranny? Abolish the theft of our time and wealth through debasement? Increase long-term work and vision in all areas due to stable money? Abandon foolish agendas and wars made possible only by printing money for free?” Then they can humbly join us Bitcoin’s purpose in their mind Or see they are “not on our team” And sadly - get left behind

The Bitcoin Team (Bitcoin Poem 059)
Maybe you joined for the money To save your wealth from dilution Bitcoin is money, strong and sound But stay for the revolution Maybe you came for clever tech And Bitcoin’s designed solution The coding and cryptography Please stay for the revolution Maybe it’s your first property Due to worldwide distribution Truly free and open to all Now join in the revolution We all want to save and to spend Without fear of retribution Bitcoin thwarts the controlling minds Who are scared by the revolution Take this step towards living free From control and persecution The Bitcoin Standard - hold it high Stand firm for the revolution Let’s keep it peaceful, free, and fun While making our contribution And helping our world financially With the Bitcoin Revolution

Bitcoin: The RIPCORD Blockchain (Bitcoin Poem 015)
In the cold of my car I shivered, as the engine ran,                      I sat still hoping to dispense with the chill,                  but my will said, 'accept it you are a wimp and an old cold one at that" I was wearing my hat and my coat with light gloves,                                                                         I loves to wear, they separate my fingers             from the cold, knitted grey and bold,         they let me hold, objects of metal like keys to hearts,  objects of stone like me very own heart,                     objects of desire, that I keep secret until something transpires                                                                      which warms better than fires, on a dark and lonely night under the stars bright, wait was that my tire? Oh where did I wonder off too,                               as I was in thought, now lost,    my wit, not sharp as the nail in my tire, the cost, on a dark night in November, as six speeding police cars swoop past me, on an urgent mission to stop a crime, their sirens wail as I am a counterintuitive pantomime against the noise that assails me while I am changing a tire but remain the same, metal tire rod tool in my hand, stone cold heart beating, against my ribs, as I labor in disbelief that where I live is across from where I stand, and with all technology you have to get on your hands and knees to change a tire, I sneeze, I am not sure which is worse,                                          my situation or these verse, which decorate the night, not like stars, as when spoken aloud every other word is profane, while two homeless push there wares by me and laugh                                                                 with disdain. For in these transactions they have more street cred than I,   and I would give them a bitcoin of my thoughts, but they are two and I am one, alone and without a cell phone, and this poem rolling around like lug nuts in a hubcap, as frost creeps closer than the creeps who wish to reap of my misfortune. Of which I now have some, that I can mix with theirs and then I notice their bloodthirsty stares, so I begin to recite this poetry and expound on the woe in me and send them packing covering their ears with out attacking my hapless now three wheeled car. When I was done I was nuttier than those lugs, "good news" it was too cold for bugs, and with good conscience you, from this, can unplug. ©DWE112013

This really did not happen on a cold night like this.
God grant me the serenity To stack all the Bitcoin I can, The courage to create more memes That expose the thieving fiat system, And the wisdom to know That Bitcoin fixes this; Living one day at a time Enjoying one moment at a time Accepting criticism and adversity As the pathway to orange pilling All people, trusting that every Last person will get Bitcoin At the price they deserve; Trusting the equations of Satoshi That my value will increase Due to truly scarce money And aligned incentives; With responsibility And freedom for all Amen

The Bitcoin Serenity Prayer (Bitcoin Poem 080)
Do we choose Bitcoin, or a CBDC? One will control - one will make free Bitcoin works through value and wealth A CBDC works by cunning and stealth Bitcoin is open - for everyone The first and best - can’t be outdone A CBDC is permission based Your every action known and traced Bitcoin is widely decentralized Stable code - we won’t be surprised A CBDC is CENTRAL by name And code will change to suit their game Bitcoin’s NOT able to discriminate Freeze your funds - or control your fate Yet all these can happen with a CBDC And likely will, just wait and see Which one has the money that’s sound? Bitcoin’s issuance is known and bound While a CBDC has no limit at all With inflation causing the value to fall So which do you really think is best? Do your research, then mentally test Which is controlling and which is free When choosing Bitcoin, or a CBDC?

Bitcoin vs CBDC (Bitcoin Poem 012)
Promises are made to be broken, as a stereotype that is a mere token, that I will leave with you, where am I going too, that you can not be with me? No where and everywhere all at once, there is much, I see I could put in poetry, but I promised, my self, among my many selves, that I would pull out of my computer and off of the shelves the three stories one hundred and fifty thousand six hundred and forty two words in total on the whole and add and edit and add and review, maybe change a genre, just for you a possible future reader or critic. There are dark unknown shadows when and where I go, where I'll stop to sleep oh I don't know, I will travel far but maybe end up no where I know, I hear there is a snow storm coming, best to stay indoors, which I seldom do no matter what Ms. Nature has in store. If I find time on my hands, don't mind the ink pains or blood stains when I do, for it'll mean, I am bored or I miss all of you I may be gone a month or two, I could be radical and call it a sabbatical but I still have to go to my day job, so lets plan on meeting by March 31st, I may get a burst of inspiration and what is the worst that could happen is I write a poem or two, read all you written, and leave footprints and refuse behind so that you'll know "I have been" and left a mess for you to clean while not trying to be obscene, um I mean make a scene. As well I have some paperwork to do, which make cost me time but if IT, I  do not do, IT will cost me more, emotional currency is more dear than bitcoin, could you spare a few? (Emotions I mean if I run out, leaving me drained, stuck in the DOWN spout?) I will be listening to music while a way, Great Big Sea inspires me, anything Celtic, Mumford and Sons, Good For Grapes, and the sound track to Les Miserables, some classical music and the odd opera piece, no seriously I mean ODD, and then there is all that jazz... I am really not going, I hate goodbyes, I will be writing quite close even, Nearby. I would blow you a kiss and say "mwahh", if you did not take that as an advance, and if you would be so kind as to blow one my way, I will put it near to my heart so it keeps beating away.

Battle not for red and blue They’re both the same machine The real choice that’s coming up Is orange versus green Bitcoin holds your value well Come join the Bitcoin scene Skip inflation’s stealthy theft Choose orange versus green From Iceland to Australia And countries in between People are awakening To orange versus green Money made by central banks With printing that’s obscene You can pick another way Choose orange versus green Break free from your assumptions And question your routine For everyone can benefit From orange over green

Orange Vs Green (Bitcoin Poem 053)
“Fiat” in Latin means “let it be done” Yes, a “binding edict” for everyone So “fiat money” means “by decree” THE approved money for you and me “Fiat lux” means “Let there be light” God said the words, God has the right But fiat money by leaders decreed Abuses that role - if inflating by greed Dollars are printing by trillions, it’s true And all decreed money is inflating too If “by decree” - debased money we use Much of its value we can and do lose Now you can use a “money” that’s new Not “by decree”, so it’s freeing for you Bitcoin is money that plays by the rules Safe and predictable - no one it fools The money printing, controlled by a few Takes from the rest - not much we can do You can use Bitcoin, by choice - not decree Let’s make the choice - so we can be free

Fiat - By Decree (Bitcoin Poem 008)
Bitcoin’s growing every day With fiat inflation on display Own your money - come what may As Bitcoin keeps on thriving Officials saying “all is fine” Printing money by design Cutting down our bottom line As Bitcoin keeps on thriving You can learn it, take some time Bitcoin’s young and in its prime Yet every cycle it will climb As Bitcoin keeps on thriving Worth and value it retains Unlike fiat money drains The choice is very clear & plain As Bitcoin keeps on thriving

Bitcoin Keeps On Thriving (Bitcoin Poem 050)
“We are the US government” We can print out of thin air Mister Sherman says aloud Which should be quite a scare But yet he says of Bitcoin (Amazing that he can dare) That bitcoin isn’t valuable But created from thin air Bitcoin has a cost to make A cost that can’t compare To fiat’s cheap and easy flow Debasing the saver’s share Thank you Mister Sherman For making us all aware Of your Cantillon privilege Printing money from thin air Study what a bitcoin costs To make one - with work & care And you’ll see Bitcoin’s value Come join and get a share Thank you Mister Sherman For helping us to prepare As our dollars get debased Since they’re printed from thin air

Out of Thin Air (Bitcoin Poem 054)
Now, I like to sing Jazz and I'm millennial investor When the Crona came I had to sell all my Tesla But I hope if you listen in a decade or less You remember this song with a smile on your face Robinhood story has been trending four years Raising new generation of bulls and bears Letting smaller fish swim alongside sharks and whales That’s how I became a fan of fractional shares! I believe they will grow they were growing before Nothing can stop me from getting some more Oh I love buying low like a pro Selling is also an option to know Now, I have some snacks, I read reports on the stock What is Under the hood, what's the talk of the block? Talking heads on the-Street could be playing their game Let the buyer beware! And there's no one to blame Robinhood stock has joined the show Ticker "HOOD" is in business come rain or snow And so after a long night of trying to sleep When I open my app, I just pray for the dip Now, I hear of new coin on the crypto market They say it costs a penny but has a dollar target I say thanks but they're plenty of crap coins around I already have good coins in my Gold account Robinhood crypto is well on the rise Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin - they rhyme nice! If I get some Ethereum I’ll cling to it tight With those coins in my wallet, my future is bright I believe in the crypto, I believe in the hood But I'm not a prophet don't let me be misunderstood Though it might be a one-time deal Even Santa Claus rally could go downhill I believe they will grow they were growing before Nothing can stop me from getting some more Oh I love buying low like a pro C’mon give me that access to best IPOs, best IPOs Now, I have an opinion I don't give advice You buy or you sell, you gotta think twice!

Bitcoin doesn’t really care The color of your skin or hair If you’re short or if you’re tall Bitcoin does not care at all. And therefore can’t discriminate By who you love, or who you hate Save it, spend it - large or small. Bitcoin does not care at all. You can save for years and years. It will be there - calm your fears Or spend it soon - go have a ball. Bitcoin does not care at all. No restrictions, no money games If you own it (no paper claims) Keep it safe, for if you fall Bitcoin does not care at all Bitcoin CAN’T discriminate Steal your funds - or seal your fate If you miss this - if you stall Bitcoin does not care at all Bitcoin’s free for all to use Very soon I hope you’ll choose If not, one day you will recall That Bitcoin does not care at all

Bitcoin Doesn't Care (Bitcoin Poem 066)
Fiat money is unsound money Because governments can print More of this money at low or no cost The printing of more money is so easy That those in power can never resist the Urge to create new money for their use The fiat supply remains unpredictable Therefore Let’s use a money with known supply The solution is to create a limited money That has a cost to the creation of units This money would be sound if no group Or person has the option to issue new Money beyond what was programmed

You Can Buy It Anywhere (Bitcoin Poem 017)
I am a walking target, bull's-eye, Easy prey of this millennium. I am a number, you want my money, I want the attention. Spew your crap at me, make me beautiful, clean, worthy. Desperate I'll relinquish all I have, my multiple identities, my sanity. Only 9.99 a month, click here! Which one will I be today? Please upload them in the cloud, algorithm me for later, sell me on the bitcoin market. I am a good, a gain, capitalist surplus. For I can freely pick and choose in this techno democracy, Silicon Valley guinea pig. This poem will continue after the ad... And I'll expose myself for this audience, my wants and desires, the coffee I drink, the pills I take, my children and the children of my children. They'll drink sewage water, bathe in acid rain. And I'll build arguments on why I bore them to this Earth, tell them stories of better days.

Debasing money is not just wrong And generally suspicious It’s personally destructive It’s insulting and malicious For those who store their value The hard working and ambitious To have their value stolen Is insulting and malicious Whether it happens quickly Or slow and surreptitious It’s pure and blatant theft It’s insulting and malicious For those who don’t have assets It’s particularly vicious But for ALL who use the fiat It’s insulting and malicious That dollars can store value Over time, is quite fictitious In not much time, the value melts It’s insulting and malicious With Bitcoin, we have a choice It’s purpose quite auspicious You can choose between the two I hope you’ll be judicious

Timechain (Bitcoin Poem 034)
From the soldier in Ancient Rome To us, in our present home And, in all the world around We want money that is sound Sound money is not debased So our trust is not misplaced Because the supply is bound For money that is sound Sound money’s authentic ring Heralds the value it will bring And you know when you have found A useful money that is sound Sound money will not inflate Which is fiat money’s fate Bitcoin’s code is quite profound Creating money that is sound Highly secure - and stable too Open for everyone to view King of assets it is crowned Because it’s hard and sound

Bitcoin: Sound Money (Bitcoin Poem 021)
Beauty’s in the eye Of the person who beholds And value’s in the mind Of the person craving gold Or a puppy, or a painting Or a Bitcoin, or a tree Value’s NOT intrinsic Value comes from you and me A thing has value only When desired by me or you And people value differently Just look - you’ll see it’s true That value comes from valuing And not “intrinsic” worth And values vary widely Across people of our earth Bitcoin’s proven valuable To people the world around Maybe you should get some As it’s quickly gaining ground The value keeps increasing As adoption grows demand But supply is known and stable It grows scarce in every land

Pigher Hower
I’ve heard lots ‘bout Bitcoin But don’t know what it is. So, I’ve begun a research To follow up the biz. Bitcoin must mean something, Tho’ the term sounds strange. Does it replace the dollar? Or maybe it’s just change? As to what ‘Bitcoin’ is, I still have not a clue. But reports here and there Declares what it can do. Bitcoin. Bitcoin. Hmmm! For all the talk that’s made, According to my theory, It has to do with trade.

What’s Up with Bitcoin
Honest people say what is true The iron law - true things prevail And not the lies that often spew From diktats which our rights curtail Opinions and ideas abound What are the signs of truth telltale? Follow incentives - search around What ideas will our freedoms derail? Follow ideas to where they lead Think of the results - in detail Talk and discuss - think and read Stand for freedom. Let truth prevail Does an idea centralize power? Central powers will always fail Though dictators may gain the hour In the end - true things prevail Bitcoin keeps the ledger true Decentralized - on worldwide scale Better money for me and you Come join and let the truth prevail

True Things Prevail (Bitcoin Poem 055)
Bitcoin is my lifeboat In the midst of raging waves Specifically designed As a tool that builds and saves Bitcoin is my harbor For the value that I earn Secure and well protected Once I take the time to learn Bitcoin is my lighthouse Marking where the dangers lie And showing me the benefits Of a firm and fixed supply Bitcoin is my anchor Giving focus to my days Improving daily habits In so many helpful ways Bitcoin is my haven As I rest in nightly sleep And plan for many years With the funds I safely keep
