Demur nature's forces and prehend a leaf
The wind is an experienced pitcher and a fan, may I ask are you?
As the leaf drifts in the draught, catch this one, we'll have a laugh over a draught
The dimensions and weight of the frond will have your senses to and thro'
Importance of equanimity is essential, do not blink, and for goodness sake do not hit that tree
A few numerous attempts to catch that elusive bract, you're out of breath
However, even though nature's force is cunning, she'll give your breath back
Now the leaf is at knee level, baseball slide, football tackle, or hockey dive, ready your hands
The stiple's erratic motion is bewildering as the tension of the chance arise's
And just as nature and yourself breath out the prehend fall's in the pond with a graceful landing
I have never caught a leaf on purpose, have you?

Rewind the time to the cold New Year
Where the only sounds that I would hear
Were the melodies resonating through the air where they hung
And pops rambling stories at the top of his lungs
Engrossed all hours by the studious stare
Cured by EtOH and the LCD glare

But something awakened in me when you came into frame
A lightning strike resetting life was nature's own game
Now I dream deeply at night because my mind is at ease
No more minuscule ruts that I've failed to appease
But every so often the wakeful state returns
And in flows every thought - 'til my tired brain churns
I feel every fiber and my soul goes heavy
The thoughts, still flooding, have broken the levee

I've never learned, never earned, never yearned for such affection
But the storm winds howled and pushed this direction
Every thunderous thud echoing from my chest
When I plan what to say, but don't know the rest
When I look at your face and see the life in your eyes
Nothing else could leave me so revitalized
The storm has passed, but an angel descended
So begins a new story that has not quite yet ended

******* like a kiss...
As if I’m meant for someone’s lips.
As if I’m meant to be caught.
As if I’m meant to be felt.
As if I’m worth of anyone’s thought.

An impulse from the gut
I am mentally driving and screaming to the desert plains
                          like a mental coyote,

Dry mouth, sour tongue
I'm begging for some relief
And all I get is this ******* conventional life
And rules.

I want the wind, the drought, the sun
                                                     the stars
                                                     the dirt
                                                     the road
                                                     the sweat
                                                     the ***
                                                     the steaming muscles
                                                     the burning skin
Or just the night,

And its yellow moon to bloom in me
And ******* away.
(That's all I ask.)

give yourself hope
don't ever let go
there has to be
something other
than these foes.
hold yourself higher
don't let yourself go.
hearts full of doubt
I know you must know
we'll grow through this
I just ******* know
please please don't
shed your hope
open my eyes
and just feel
the blow.

Winds blow kisses,
flowers blow wishes,
while seasons bring change;
Meadows grow green.

When It rains and it pours , is it God crying?
Or does he make mistakes too by dropping
Glasses of water on some parts of the planet,
sometimes i cant stand it,
Its too hard to manage
With all the decorative seasons and foreign
Ghettos,
Following their footsteps and letting all of their
Friends go,
I wish everything was in slow motion so I could
Move through this crowd of ******* and jerks,
Its more than I deserve,
And when the wind blows I'll be sitting in the
Rose garden full of sin while thick and bold and
Replace the new past with the old,
I think I struck a nerve,
The Power was within is all along,
are you man? or do you claim your strong?
If you pick confrontations left and right then
something will go wrong.

You can not choose the weather.
Nor the way the day's unfold.
You can not pick out the sunsets colors,
Or soften the winters cold.
You can not change the things you've said,
Or the way that you have cried.
You can not make time answer to you,
For it rides it's own tide.
You can not choose to forget those you've loved.
Nor can you make someone love you more,
You can not pick and choose your experiences,
Or go back to the person you were before.
There is so little you can control in this world,
So very few things we can completely control.
And the thing that I find so incredibly sad,
Is that the things we can, we blow.
