"browser" poems
I know you. Sitting behind a screen in your room, Sipping in the shadows of a coffee shop. iPhone, iPad, iAm "Anonymous". The most dangerous word you can be labeled, The most double-edged of weapons- Anonymous. You're never really as untraceable As the cleared browser history says you are, Never as untraceable as the chain of destruction you cause is traceable. You're never really as invisible As the checked box lets you think you are, Never as invisible as the scars you direct a hand to make are visible. One word can't be all that. Anonymous can't be so dangerous. Some clicks on a keyboard can't be so devastating. There's a reason it used to be difficult to avoid responsibility. Because responsibility for your words, for what you cause, Is what allows you to see a few steps ahead. Your signature is what allows you to learn from mistakes, To vow after you've learned the hard way to think before you act. To see that those words have two names attached to them now. The writer, and the subject. Two traceable, visible people. Two hearts beating and breathing, now connected. Anonymous constructs a wall between action and reaction. It robs you of responsibility. Yes, responsibility is a prized possession, there to teach and show. Anonymous allows you to settle. It robs you of the greater person you could become. Yes, your future holds more than this, there beyond the wall of cyber bulling. I hate that I was once Anonymous like you. I hate that I unknowingly controlled the strings Of a self-destructive marionette hand miles away. But I don't hate you. Because I know you. I know you are more than the mistakes you've made behind that screen. I know you are more than Anonymous. So prove it.

I could just **** as I masochistically type your name into the search bar at the top of the page.   I want to erase you from my memory, but my browser catches your cookies. I don't even know what those cookies are. the cookies from the jar? the cookies from my mind? the cookies from my computer... the cookies you ate that one time. Oreos. Those were your favorite. Who the **** brought up cookies? I could just **** as I masochistically type your name into the search bar at the top of the page.

Dem phones, dem phones, dem iPhones, Dem phones, dem phones, dem iPhones, Dem phones, dem phones, dem iPhones, Now praise the Lord for the Web. The Apple phone’s connected to the Vodaphone, And the Vodaphone’s connected to the Google Zone, The Google Zone’s connected to the Web Zone, Oh hear the Lord of the Word. Well the phone’s connected to a browser And it fits very neatly in your trouser. The browser connects you to the Internet Faster than the fastest speed-jet, Just the place for a quick bet. Oh hear the Lord of the Word. It might get you onto Facebook Or teach you how to be good cook Find you some ladies for a good… Time. Now Praise the Lord of The Word. Paul Butters

Be careful when you fall in love with a poet Poets We kinda don't really think in the same way as everybody else If everybody's thinking outside the box, were probably the ones thinking on the box Or with the box, or in another box Yeah see that was kinda weird We think in metaphors We write with our own blood We write about anything and everything that makes us feel Which means we will probably write about you And will continue to write about you even after we've broken up and you moved on and youve forgotten about us We will still write about you Because you engraved feelings in us which we have immortalized into words Think of it like this You come into our lives You spill wet cement on the walls of our hearts We write all the feelings we get on the wet cement and when you're gone it dries up Be careful when you fall in love With the girl who can compare you to the sun One minute she can tell you that the sun is the source of life in this world and brightens up her day And the next, she can tell you that the sun's UV rays are actually harmful and the sun sets too While you are talking She is thinking about how your eyes crease at the corners when you laugh And how your smile is the most beautiful thing she has ever seen And how your hair is the perfect mix of messy and hot She will try to put all these feelings into words And despite her vast vocabulary and experience in writing She will never find the right words to describe you Searching for words will be like using internet explorer as your browser Or riding a snail Or looking through a dictionary when all the words are crossed out Be careful when you fall in love With a girl who writes Because you just might be the reason for her writer's block And she will probably hate you for it But at the same time love you for it Yet you can also be the reason she can never stop writing Because you are more than enough inspiration she needs You will be the driving force of the pen in her hand against the paper And that's pretty **** amazing if you ask me She can turn your world into words Turn your thoughts into lines Turn your feelings into poetry She will say the things you never knew how to say Be careful when you fall in love with a poet Because you just might be turned into intangible literature

Crossroads( Spoken Word-Freestyle-Dramatics)
A late hour. Don't even look at the clock. Every fiber of my good sense yells go to sleep and I do not. Every bit of logic understands that I need to wake in fewer hours than I needed to sleep in the first place Still I sit here Listening to music. Writing a poem. Staring idly at a browser window. The lights are on, the blinds drawn. When the sun begins to rise, I will not see it I've seen several sunrises recently I remember what they look like. In the midwest somewhere, a tweaker sits awake for the third day. Chasing vapor and ghosts He's seen the sunrise too, perhaps an hour later He may or may not remember We run from the cousin, but he finds us The sandman cometh. And Enter night and what dreams may come Locked in the struggle we all lose, Running from comfort and sanity at full-speed                                      10.03.11                                      D.B. A poem for the weary
http://m.wikihow.com/Unhook-a-Bra Pinch the eyelets but oh so gently, To properly unhook the device to safely release paradise From it's containment chamber. This be one of many secrets to unlocking The mechanism that holds some of the happy things The human body artist conceived To perpetuate the Species. According to the internet, To extract joy to the world correctly, Depends upon both your station and your Positioning. Thus, it helps to have GPS, Which most men think is that pointy thing Between their legs, But is not. Given the laws of gravity, And other natural limitations, Sadly that utensil of little avail In this surgical operation. If one desires to release the tension Between the connectors of the protectors, Guardians of her heart, It will be necessary to Let your fingers do the walking. So cut and paste the title above, In your web browser place! Do your homework or risk feeling As petite as a schnauzer. Seems your natural tendency, Righty or lefty, matters in this endeavor, Of which I was unawares, oft pressing the incorrect lever. This, the likely cause of my spectacular Teenage Fumblings and failures. Had I known that fact, In the days before the Internet, Surely I would have brought along my Catchers mitt To step up my game. Sage advice the article provides: *Get a bra, and practice, practice, practice! It gets easier with experience.* But methinks that is a bit of a Risky adventure, Lest you be seen boy, Practicing upon yourself, Or even a dummy, Dummy! So cut and paste the title above In your web browser, Do your home work or risk feeling As petite as a pocket schnauzer. But the most important tip This wealthy article of information provides, The conclusion. In the hour of your desperate struggle, Drooping Ego And Crushed Pride, Ask for assistance from one more practiced, Hopefully nearby, Whose help usually comes with a charming smile of touching condescension For your male idiocy and verbal in-articulation. *She, unawares, that you have got her Positioned precisely where you want!* For when you lift her up, In a free state, the one Divinity intended, and in your arms, enfolded and protected, In one grand poetic gesture, Sweep her off her feet, Her surprise will be **.. O So Touching!**

I feel like my brain has put an ad block on emotion And when I try to reach out for you I see a pop up warning me that No! This function cannot be accessed whilst an Ad Block is in use. So, I try to uninstall and reset the browser but I wake up just the same. An empty shell of technology, faulty wiring falling into the hands of those without the qualifications to find the on-switch. A brain both in standby and overworking, an overheating of wired vessels working overtime to provide life to a barely-functional heart. The quiet murmur of my breathing the only reminder that there is still something behind the blank screen. You try to keep your patience but I know you want to just throw me to the wall, an excuse to replace my shattered interface with the newest model. A model that doesn’t feel like it takes them 3 years to get out of bed every morning, a model that doesn’t seem to contract a new virus every day. Maybe I’m just tired, maybe I’ve run my course, maybe I’ve accidentally encountered malware. Maybe I am the malware. Or maybe, my brain has put an Ad Block on emotion. And when I try to reach out for you I see a pop up warning me that No! This function cannot be accessed whilst an Ad Block is in use.

Inception Transcribed  (Spoken Word- Freestyle-Dramatics) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ==Inception Transcribed == by SassyJ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (Copy the link below to your browser) Inception and intersection of human life are diverse. We are ushered as a blank canvas to the shores of life. Socialised with values, beliefs and cultures. Our acclimatised acculturation. Submerged in the swampy lowlands each sunk and wandering through and through. This morning I woke and left my house...... looked up to the horizons of nature. And there it was.... a revolving camera smiling at each stride I take... following me and taunting me. Unreserved in institutions, submerged in the ever decaying social structures. Why do we do what we do everyday? Is it part of the human processes and functions? To exist and be absolutely absent but present. I fret, then I smile. Trying to join the puzzles in the mazes. Ever questioning if I am here to learn or to be polluted by bureaucracy. Lets call for an assembly, announce that the town is dead. Yet, its people are gasping, breathing to fill their lives with a new paradigm. Look at me all cyanosed , the blueness of the dying veins... sunk in the redistribution and social panic. Re-engaged in the demoralised democracy. Look at me asking.... What is the meaning of life?

I wrote a tribute to Maya Angelou in 2010 that I would like to share today in memory of a great poet. Please excuse the dated references. I Know Why the Twitter Bird Tweets The free bird leaps on Google’s back and scrolls down page till the browser ends and dips his wings in Facebook rays and dares to claim the internet. But a bird that stalks down his narrow page can seldom see through his lists of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his claws to tweet. The Twitter bird tweets with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and his tweet are read on the distant hill for the Twitter bird tweets of freedom The free bird may watch tivo'd Glee And order up some good Chinese and laugh as Sue Sylvester drones On and on of kids off tone. But Twitter bird stands on the grave of tweets Getting “trends” for Trick or Treat his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his claws to tweet. The Twitter bird tweets with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tweet is heard on the distant hill for the Twitter bird tweets of freedom.

In Memory of Maya Angelou
I forgot to pay my muthafucking mobile phone bill. I tell ya, this week until payday is going to be some thrill. The only luxury I have in my life is the information super highway on that phone. I click on a land faraway, once the weirdos at my work start to ***** and moan. I click on the browser and let my mind roam. I get to type all over the world, The co-workers complain about all the races they hate while I don't say a word and go to wikipedia straight away. I can spend hours reading about nazis, astronomers, and plants I might just invest in ear plugs to stop listening to co-workers rant. I catch up on gossip about celebrities I have never heard of, and read about the **** they are doing to ruin their lives. I go to Facebook, where a few people think my words are clever. Lets me sever the pains of everyday annoyances. Read about dreamy recipes I could make, and all the delicious pies I will bake. Chat with someone who slept all day and is now awake in Egypt. But like I said, I am without a phone this week. Seven days to let my insanity peak.

A splash of rights afloat as we sink in our psychological rooted moral panics. All I see is a cascading titanic of ventures our mislaid adventures one after another. The criss cross of chains, we bonded in tax measures, reserve treasures...... It's not my leisure I beg you don't make your pleasure. I sink in pressure, resolving Karl Mark ideology of conflicted power. Is it our born nature or nurture to live in a world of social polarisation. A pole to pole, a tug of war. Each owning and holding a rope.Is it our task to cage in boxes, fencing notions of inequalities within our society. Is it our right this notion Bourgeoisie and Proletariat. Help me out as as I wade in the swampy lowland. Treading through and through, head afloat, the submerging walk me to the shores..... Help me find my way through this dark tunnel. Help me see the light, let the sun ray penetrate my blight. In our dichotomy of democracy we have made it right. A rolling ball of ........ 1. Stock them high sell them cheap is the order of the day. 2. Social warehousing of merging demand and supply chain. 3. A disintegration of socialist entrepreneurship. 4. Re-distribution of Export Production Zones in marginalised countries. 5. A surge of capitalism on this patch we call the universe. 6.Conortions of monopoly colluding sustainability. I pass this ball to you. As the industrial revolution fades and debates of "STEEL" revolves. My Speech is a mere consideration, our contradiction. The contractual complications that we have grounded and granted ourselves as humanity. My voice is an exchange, my gift, a cloud of thoughts, an arousing hope our haunting costs.

Cheated
You see that sheaf of slender books Upon the topmost shelf, At which no browser ever looks, Because they're by . . . myself; They're neatly bound in navy blue, But no one ever heeds; Their print is clear and candid too, Yet no one ever reads. Poor wistful books! How much they cost To me in time and gold! I count them now as labour lost, For none I ever sold; No copy could I give away, For all my friends would shrink, And look at me as if to say: "What waste of printer's ink!" And as I gaze at them on high, Although my eyes are sad, I cannot help but breathe a sigh To think what joy I had - What ecstasy as I would seek To make my rhyme come right, And find at last the phrase unique Flash fulgent in my sight. Maybe that rapture was my gain Far more than cheap success; So I'll forget my striving vain, And blot out bitterness. Oh records of my radiant youth, No broken heart I'll rue, For all my best of love and truth Is there, alive in you.

Juxtapositional Refinement Redefined  (Spoken Word- Freestyle-Dramatics) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ == JRR == by SassyJ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Credits to: Angelina Lopez (HP Poetess) (Copy the link below to your browser) Juxtapositional refinement redefined: When you meet beautiful souls we have been taught by the society to confine them. Like "I love you" but what does that word really mean. Does it mean "sharing in openness" or does it mean " been confined in expectations and obligations". The paradigm that we live in as society is delusional. We have learnt to analyse the "in between" based on our analytical and logical systems. But how about going to the individuals involved and creating an open dialogue to talk about what the situation may be. This is a thorough and more accurate way of attaining acuity. To flow in openness is like listening to 'harmonious jazz music' ...... it is like inhaling the beauty of the ginger scent in the breeze. Life itself speaks to us and we don't have to make it complicated. If we only were able to have an open platform..... hearts that are blissful and not tainted by fear then we can redefine the contrasting views of dichotomy that we have as mankind. In essence, If you haven't communicated to someone openly about something ...... we should never draw out conclusions. They will only be pre-judgemental notions oozing with constraining predefined and predetermined assumptions. Give everyone a chance and the world will smile!

Mediocre Flow  (Spoken Word- Freestyle-Dramatics) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ==Mediocre Flow == by SassyJ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (Copy the link below to your browser) https://soundcloud.com/user-367453778/mediocreflow In the woods I get lost, arrays of green specked by the rays of the sun. The wind blows but its swift in measure. I get lost my body in the breeze, as the time runs faster I breath slower. Lost in the wonder of the nature. I lay it all down, the worldly desires, disused contributions… all in the mediocre flow. The grounds feels so alive, alone but never lonely. The trees talk to me, they journey my vulnerabilities. A hug of the branches goes far beyond. The only lean over that drives me to ecstasy of …….my mediocre flow. All done with expectations and chasing the unending mazes. We become the mistresses of the earth, arching and protracting with emotions, lotions ……looming greyed blues. Hold this packet of stars, I pass it to you to touch, to overflow in it’s magic and fantastic voyages of the. …..mediocre flow Feel the greenness patched on the muddy grounds. Have the enliven nature of the flying bubble. See the flow of the waters, the contraction of the streams to the lakes. Touch the drops….the raindrops, nurture them as they sink below your feet. Feel the life, feel alive….. the mediocre flow

Then there are those times you write Because otherwise the words will tear you up inside Like supercharged particles Of steam under pressure Or uranium reaching critical mass So you set to the task Grab pen and paper Or iPhone and browser And start uploading your sins onto clean white sheets Of loose leaf or LCD As if possessed by some other self Or non-self Itself a fountain of diction A percolation of syntax Bubbling up and out so as not to **** the messenger And lines flow Kia ora koutou katoa Nga hoa Me toku whanau My friends And family Be well See well through this life And her pitfalls Tall walls and Crash courses in experience Standard variance and deviation from the mean She can be mean She can be cruel and unkind sometimes But you’ll find rhymes to make lines line up like signs on the highway And find even in grief there is beauty Truth in pain Life in suffering There is no judgement inherent in these things and none at all other than that which we place upon them Negative or positive are uniquely human conditions Everything else just is It sits within itself Without apprehension of the fourth dimension Not beating up younger selves for poor decisions made by poorly equipped versions Nor fearing an abstract time hence From whence march our fears about death And a life well spent And incontinence And I think my phone bill is going to be massive And I think my 2 minutes is up And I think my 15 minutes is up Where was I again? Words have surfaced Simmered and settled down Beauty in the badness Truth in the madness Tiredness overtakes Like post coitus An **** of the monastic order Intellectual intercourses subsequent exhaustion And sleep calls ceaselessly As if nothing else mattress

To the writer that I read out of pity I have your name etched in my browser bookmark In my head still there's pieces of I Couldn't Help It how I don't quite get it on the first glance from the windows of a weirdo's life now, in hindsight, still my favourite of all I creep almost constantly on your writings clinging to the lights you reflected onto my life. You were my very first visit to this site You are the path of how I'm here. I thank you I thank you, Santa Moon Humor Leah Rost.

Dear Moon Humor
My internet is slow, My mind is impatient. Despite my close proximity to the modem, The connection fails. The lagging RPG's, Instant messages delayed, Even a simple HTML screen cannot load. CONNECTION FAILED. RELOAD YOUR BROWSER. My internet connection is weak, And my patience is weaker.
