Who will quarantine the clouds?

Or close down the snow?

Who will prevent the rain
from assembling?

Or tell the wind to breath
through a mask?

how often do clouds shadow your thoughts
floating in and around creating illusions
fantasies so real, so intense, but ever-changing
life occurs in those moments....

Tell me we'll be
sitting on the sand, again.

Tell me we'll see
thousands of stars, again.

Tell me we'll look
at the shape of the clouds, again.

Tell me we'll meet -
Meet one more time,
Again.

a lioness above
clouds chilling
in freezing iceblue fog
quite willing

to attack and to shock
earth to **** and disturb
to swallow and gobble
each life fully and fast
Today is a good day.

She told me that she loves deep
& the swell of her heart
Holds so much water.
I myself never believed that
The world was round.
The clouds themselves
hang their shoulders
Out the dresses the sun has woven
& the sky proves that night gowns
Are not only brought in stores.
She told me that she loves deep
& the swell of her heart
Holds so much water.
With the stars of her eyes
Lighting the way.
I'll find a way
If she were to close her eyes
& the stars were to disappear
From the sky.
I am forever thankful.
Adorned in the swell
Of her heart
The porcelain
wind of the
moon lifts
it’s wings
of mine
to see
the clouds,
deserts and
dreams of
reality as
one, the
endless
stories of
the green
and golden
fields of
painted
starlight,
the breath
of unspoken
songs in the
conversation
of eyes, too
aerial to be
held, as the
rising, gentle
wind through
the leaves,
and the hair
of lovers in
discovery
of forests
touched
with mist,
rising above
the mountains,
falling as the
song of rain,
they are
rain dancers
who see poetry
as all, and all
is water

Clouds are like pillows in the sky.
Oh! how I wish that I could fly.
To touch the soft white,
To lay there till night,
When the moon gazes down with its silvery eye.
Another old one from my childhood... I have no idea when I wrote this... I wish I had developed the habit of writing the date on things earlier... X'D

Poetry is the clouds covering a horizon

Poetry is kings in a throne

it gives you the freedom to make people notice

it gives you a voice

But the falling sound

isn't just in your dreams

it's creeping up on us fast

so please can you listen

we have to revive it, bring it back

before it's too far gone
Poetry is a dying art that needs CPR

For even when you can’t see the sun behind the clouds,
doesn’t mean it’s not there
and just because someone doesn’t say it,
doesn’t mean that they don’t care
Actions speak louder than words, but not everyone is listening attentively. Pay attention to what is said, but most importantly - to what is done.
