Stressed, blank inside, hurt,
Broken but breathing,
Here to feel the pain
That's not retreating.
Never felt so dead
And alive at once;
I did not expect
To lose our romance
But here we are on
The same page again,
Just to see the end
From where we first began.
It was love at first sight
if it's possible,
Love at first bite

We live in two different worlds
never meant to clash together
a vamp who wanted my blood
a human who only ate "food"

But maybe we ain't different
maybe we are alike

For we both eat flesh
Tear down souls
and enjoy a refreshing red liquid

Maybe it was just us
thinking that you were the bad guys

Maybe we are just all the same

Maybe we were meant to be
*just not in this dimension

Here's to the you that's amazing.
To the you
who stood there for them,
who sacrifice for them,
who smiled for them.

Here's to the you that's strong.
To the you
who lie to live,
who hides your tears,
who suffocates inside.

Here's to the you that's beautiful.
To the you
that cut yourself, because you don't want to hurts others;
To the you
that wrote it out, because you don't want an outburst;
To the you
that simply smile, because you needed to.

So here's to everything that you've done,
to everything that I've said and not;
Here's to you, my amazing one,
Cheers.
Perhaps it was unnoticeable, perhaps it was small,
but I know, cause you're strong,
we know, cause we're same.

Actually,
I'm not too bad.
Actually,
I'm pretty great.
Actually,
I'd hate myself.
Actually,
What could you really hate?
Actually,
I wouldn't be anything if I were missing anything.
Actually,
I wouldn't be anyone if I were missing anyone.
Actually,
I'm good.
Actually,
I'm great.
Actually,
I'm not that bad,
Actually,
I'm no saint.
Actually,
I can be me.
Actually,
I can and am
Actually,
I'd never want to be the same.
Because...
Being a robot would be such a shame.

Her sweet chocolate blood
languidly screams
in the rain as she recalls whispers of love;
she aches as the sky sprays her with tears
like a storm in a dream.
She falls to her knees with her hands on her mouth
the feel of his last kiss remains on her lips.
His last loving touch on her cheeks.
His last words ringing in her ears.
Her lips he once kissed passionately are trembling.
Her cheeks he once touched with care
are now black from her running mascara.
Her ears he whispered loving words into
are filled with the rushing of the ocean.
She’s breaking, and she know’s
she’ll never get him back…

His bitter chocolate blood
languidly screams
in his room as he recalls whispers of love;
he aches as he stares at his paused screen
Call of Duty left forgotten.
He punches a hole in the wall with her necklace clenched in his fist
the memory of the night he gave it to her engraved in his mind.
Her last kiss tasting of sugar cookies.
Her last touch as she played with his hair.
Her last words ringing in his ears.
His lips she once kissed passionately are trembling
His hair she constantly played with
is now a tousled mess from running his hands through it.
His ears she once whispered that she loved him into
are filled with the ringing of silent bells.
He’s breaking and he knows
she’ll never take him back...
I don't know where this came from honestly....

i will never understand you,
and you,
you will never try or attempt to
recognize my face.

People have a way of telling you to
look at the bright side,
but they are the same people,
who pushed you out in the first place.

thank you.

Opposites* attract, but we're one in the same.
Brown eyes meet green, saying words our mouths won't.
He nods like he understands and I almost ask him to explain it to me.
Almost, because I nod like I get it too. I don't though
It's clear to both of us how blurry all of this is.
It's easy to see how hard it is to understand.
It's nice to think how bad it could be.
Its odd how normal it feels.
Though it couldnt feel more right to be somewhere so wrong,
I love that I hate to love everything about us.

Of course I've changed
life does that to you, it creates conflicts
some you can handle and some that make you fall through the cracks
I'm not the same freshman girl you once knew, I'm a junior that has been through things
I haven't been in your life for two years
I don't know the same people you know, I don't remember everything
we used to do
You're different too
You've changed not just me.
We all change, we change from life experiences
we change from situations we were once in
we are not the children we were in elementary, did you expect we would stay the same?
Change is everywhere

"Maaa," the bruised four-year-old cried.

Which one?
Tried a first.

I've learned how to see
the world like a canvas.
When staring long at the horizon,
the roads flood my vision like paint
running together in a muddy mess.
The landscape changes,
but everything is still the same.
