It's All About Love
Cynthia Jean Apr 2016
I am slowly
beginning
to realize
that to love
can be easy,
but also very
difficult.
It can be
innate,
and sometimes
it must be learned.
It can be
as a well-mothered
baby
and also
be orphaned.
It can be oppressed,
and it can be
welcomed.
It can be hoped for,
and its flame
can also be
smothered
with doubt.
If
you have the strength
and courage
you may
trust
in its donor,
even as a small child
blindly puts its
faith
and hope
into the hands of a
kindly stranger.
Initially, it is
seed like,
and how it is nurtured
depends
on you...
whether you wish it
to reach
its maturity
in the form of
a dandelion....
or
a rose....

In My Garden
Cynthia Jean Apr 2016
I sing in the garden
with Him
so much joy
surrounds me
I'm crying...
What a gift
He gives
the new life
I see
and the birdies'
anthems
praising.....

Yes,
He walks with me
with love
He talks
with me
Overflowing
His joy
and His peace...
and this place
I'm in
I would share
with you
and my wish....

it would never cease....

During my morning devotions I asked God if He had any thoughts to give me...and this is what came into  my mind.  Needless to say, I was totally blown away....and this gift was definitely  not one for me to keep for  myself...but to pass along, and hopefully be as much a blessing to someone else as it was to me.

How I Love My God
Cynthia Jean Apr 2016
I love You, my Papa.
I love You, my Jesus.

I know I am loved by You.

I can trust You
no matter what

what I see,
what I hear
whatever people say
or don't.

I might change,
I might mess up,
and I do
fairly often.

But You never do.
I can count on You
to do the right thing.
Always
Every time.

And that when You say something
You mean it.

And that You never stop loving me.
Never.

I thank You for that.
for always.

You never fail me
or forsake me.

You never give up on me.

Ever.

Confusion and uncertainty

no belonging place
to call her own

no okay safe place

and many very hurtful ones

Words to comfort by.....
Cynthia Jean Apr 2016
Oh, we all need a Friend
who will comfort us
unconditional
safe and secure..

Who sees the pain
in our heart
And relates
to despair
Who knows
...and that knowing
is real...

The gaze in His eyes
is not a
glazed over look,
an empty
nodding of the head...

Rather....
a deep well
understanding
your grief, sorrow, pain
your aloneness
and cries of despair...

Seek Him out
everyday
no
empty
impostor
is He..

He's no prozac
numbing consciousness
stealing
life
away....

But reality is
new life
hope
and  breath

As you
walk with Him
He'll hold your right hand...
Each day
....baby steps
become real...

Ask
for eyesight
to see
the hope
that He offers

And the price
it is right
it is free....

Unsuspecting pawns
get played
in someone else's game

fragile
misinformed minds
become volatile
their minds molded
like clay

hardened by
manipulated
anger
and discontent

their lives
are sacrificed
on the altars
of evil, greedy politicians

whose strings are pulled
by the ultra wealthy
and the devil himself

they think
and believe
in all these politicians
and their promises

who temporarily
stroke their egos
and satiate
their bellies.

They are being
used, used, used...
their youth being devoured.

Sacrificed, sacrificed, sacrificed...

They're on somebody else's
front lines
and they don't even  know it.

Somebody
won't
somebody
wake them up?

Of course their lives matter.
They are precious.

ALL LIVES MATTER.

God says He made us
ALL
in HIS IMAGE
after HIS LIKENESS.

HIS SON DIED
for us
ALL.

Not for the
SOME
but for the
ALL.

Should not these
"scheduled"
demonstrations
and
"days of rage"
be  projected
towards
the manipulators????

The disillusioned...

they are blinded
they are being used
as a tool
a veritable weapon
to achieve
someone else's agenda

they are being primed
pumped up
like air in a tire....

The media
the purveyors of information

are they not responsible
to tell the truth?

If not,
by default
are they not  responsible
for orchestrated
debacles
in the making?

They are bought and sold
the price paid for the lie
is higher
than for the truth.

Pawns.

Don't be a pawn.

The time is now.

Please

Wake up.

The rising and the turning
Cynthia Jean Apr 2020
Time to turn to God.

We must take a stand.

Be silent no more!

The silent are complicit,  weak,  and  cowardly.

Be brave, bold and courageous.

God has not given us a spirit of fear,  but power,  love,  and a sound mind.

Fear is demonic.

The "powers that be" (not Powers...have ears to hear) are suffocating this nation with a spirit of fear ( think about it...the healthy are under house arrest... and voluntarily ...
HOW CRAZY IS THAT!

We are under the ******* of the lies of the box and the tellers of tales!

My brothers and sisters

I plead with you now

We all need to

WAKE  UP

SPEAK  UP

RISE UP

BEFORE  IT  IS TOO  LATE

(And no more spewing of  hatred !!... we have become a nation of haters...and where does that come from?)

NOW IS  THE TIME.

I CAN NO LONGER  STAY  SILENT.

All the difference
Cynthia Jean Feb 2018
A voice
speaks of roads walked down
paths trodden
in weariness and pain

On these roads
you will meet
comforters and survivors

souls
not judging, but understanding

compassionate
refusing to be overcome
by bitterness

rather
choosing love
choosing to forgive

that is the road
less traveled

the path to healing

and yes
it has made all the difference!
