whoever said
that too much
of a good thing
isnt
a good thing,

clearly hasnt
spent enough
time
without one

i could really
go for too much
of a
good thing
right about now.

it's weird that sometimes
when you study books
so hard
and so long
you discover
how every little thing
everyday
has a meaning too

some historical allusion
or literary illusion
that tells you exactly how someone feels about you
or how you feel about them too.

so maybe all those studies
weren't always a waste
maybe the real meaning behind all of it is that
they want you to give you a taste
of all the symbolism of things
before you're too late

from my heart
the things you see,
the lies you heard priorly.
all that pity times was really
creepy!

When I look back over my life
Many pieces of the puzzle fall into place
I often use the word seasons in my writing
And this is not even a poem for that matter
But I've come to know that darkness accentuates light
A strange sense of destiny
Opposites that work together towards one goal
Something that needs to be achieved or completed
My whole life through this has chased me
When I was a child I enjoyed making soup
Wooden spoon in hand stirring the broth
The sole of my right foot up against my left ankle
I must have looked like a ballerina
My mother seated at the kitchen table
I heard her giggling from behind
I turned to her and asked "why are you laughing"
She replied "the way you're standing and the enjoyment you get from making soup"
I uttered "do you know that I'm going to achieve something great someday"
She asked "where did that come from"
I responded "I don't know"
She said "so be it"

I miss the lazy Sundays with you,
lounging around with out care.

our extremities intertwined
like grape vines ripe for harvest.

Drifting in and out of sleep
high off the scent of each other.

I miss the days you cared enough
to make time for our lazy Sundays.

The thunder screamed at me, which made me feel fear.
The cold breeze hugged me.
The wind started to chuckle and whisper,
"This is not a dream, my darling".

I opened my eyes and saw that the pillow is sleeping beside me.
It was a dream, I thought.
My blanket hugged me so that I can drift to sleep.
From now on, it is the only thing that will hug me.
Hi:) I made this two years ago during 8th. I just wanna share it. Hope you like it :)

This thing...

Delicate,
fragile
but potent.
Erratic even.

Yet I hold it close.
I clench it fast within my grasp.

I care not
for its volatile nature.
I care not
if it’ll sway me.
I care not
if it’ll explode.

Because at the end of the day,
it’s all I have.
