You are an artist, my love.
Your mouth is a musician’s mouth, your lips my tool. My body is the instrument you play, drawing forth the music that is our passion. My cries are the melody, your groans are the lyrics. Our bodies come together and beat to the rhythm of our song. Your breath hushes me, my moans do not obey. My hair whispers on your skin in silken sigh. While your clever fingers wring from my gasp. Our voices mingle in perfect harmony. As together, we sing the wordless song of our instrumental love.

guilted into yet another
late evening dog-walk
after too long spent
indoors and weighed down
by endless introversion
trudging an unlit path
free of the imposition
of street lamp
     and headlight
with nothing except
those familiar constellations
and a degree of
     lunular exposure
to guide our path
despite the cold and
that lingering feeling
of obstinate lethargy
we firmly planted
our mud-caked boots
upon the saturated ground
unstable and clogged
as it may have been
in order to marvel
at that moment
of unexpected perfection
perhaps it was simply
a case of fortuitousness
or sheer coincidence
but to us it seems
the universe is offering
more wishes than we could
ever have hoped for

i had always believed
the beauty of the stars
glittering the night sky
could not be surpassed
but those other galaxies
swirling and rutilated
within the moss agate
of her ringed irises
showed me once again
how little i knew

She searched for PERFECTION, so she's ALONE
Expected beautiful stories, so the pages are BLANK
LOVED the fluttering stars, sold her sleep
PROCURED trust but auctioned her FREEDOM...

To whom (you)  it may (does) concern:

There is nothing Unfaithful  whatsoever
about saving your own life.

--it is me who is immersed in unfaithfulness.

You in the dark, you in the pain
You on the run--
Living a hell.. living your ghost
Living your end

..Never seem to get in the place that I belong
Don't wanna lose the time,
lose the time to come

Whatever you say, it's alright
Whatever you do, it's all good..
Whatever you say, it's alright.

Silence is not the way
We need to talk about it..
If heaven is on the way
If heaven is on the way

You in the sea
on a decline
Breaking the waves
Watching the lights go down
Letting the cables sleep

Whatever you say, it's alright
Whatever you do, it's all good
Whatever you say, it's alright..

Silence is not the way
We need to talk about it
If heaven is on the way
We'll wrap the world around it

The journey towards  Perfection
   is far from perfect

Meandering Words Jun 2023
a neighbour
plays saxophone
somewhere down the street
it sounds like
they are at
an open window
practicing scales
bursts of pieces
previously mastered
other segments
yet to be perfected
those standard exercises
again and again
with missed breaths
and off-note *******
building in complexity
but slowed down
beyond recognition
with their concentration
no doubt
seething at times
behind closed doors
as fingers refuse
to obey
not moving fast enough
assuredly enough
it should annoy me
it usually would
this distraction
while I try
to read or write
the stumbling repetition
of practice failing
to make perfect
but today
there is a calming
in the familiarity
of it all
Lit by nature,
a flame of beauty

burning fiery
in her eyes.

Glowing like
the
mountains sunrise.
Soft,
and calm
like lilly of
the valley
beside spring.
Modeling silky
smile.
Making my bell 🛎 ring.
Rainbow 🌈 worship such allurment, can really
make carnivores
easily feed on grass.

Beautiful creature,
perfect nature.

When you’re stretched too thin
And you find it hard to breathe
Just wait a little bit for me
So I can teach you to stand still

Even if I can’t do it myself
I will rip both of my eyes off
So you can finally see
I will rip both my legs off
So you can have something to stand with
And when I have nothing else to give
I will hand my heart in
To your calloused hands
That have bled out from trying

And I’ll confine to you my thoughts
The ones that don’t make sense at all
So you can cherish them and remember
All the good memories I have saved of you
So you can see yourself from my eyes
And realize, how perfect you are
How flawless you look, how quickly you talk
How with a single move
you can make a whole new star

All I need for you to know
Is that if you’re in a dead void
And you don’t have anything to hold on to
I will be by your side after only my soul’s left
And even if I’m too broken for you to mimic
Or too lost for you to find me
I’m grateful you have my heart
Because you could’ve never broken it in any pieces
because all the things you touch
Come alive in new raíces.

You gave me the freedom to fly against the wind
And tried to hold my string in your hand
But you never realized I was a bird, not a kite
Who has its own wing to chase the sky...
And now that you've recognised my flight
It's too late for me to climb that height..!
Few things need to be done on their right time, once their time gets over. It's almost impossible to do them again with the same perfection...

if i exposed myself,
every feeling,
every thought,
every miniscule detail
that forms my body,
my brain,
my identity—

i would be dead to you.

(thankfully, though,
i’ve gotten the memo early.)

it’s obvious now,
you never wanted a child.

you wanted a robot, ready to reprogram.
a servant, to do your bidding.
a doll, to dress up the way you want.

you wanted perfection,
not a child.

you wanted perfection,
not me.

you are not my god,
and i will never be made in your image.
—and i know you will never accept me
