and what shall tomorrow bring me?
is such a question truly valid?
should I seek instead to ask:
what unto tomorrow shall I bring?

deciding which question is more fitting is deciding whether to play victim or the foil to such.
We don't want to choose,
Well you have no choice.
We don't want to lose,
Then which path will you take?
We just want to do what we want,
But that's not what we want.
If you think you can force us, you won't,
We have our ways.
Let us do the things we love,
But your opinion doesn't matter.
Then we'll take it to those above,
Be my guest, they'll say the same.
We are ready now,
We have always been ready,
We have worked out how,
To do what?
To choose,
Finally,
To ignore your views,
Listen to us,
This time, it's on our terms,
But our terms are better,
This time, it's our turn,
Yes, to choose your future with us,
No, to decide our own.

Within us there is a world unseen
Where a young spirit seeks to know
The voice he begins to hear each day
As His passion for life now grows

He will begin to make tough choices
As the voices within become so alive
Leaving him to seriously ponder daily
Which choice might be wrong or right

For everything he attempts each day
Alone with the choices his heart will make
Will deeply affect the life road he chooses
And within his spirit will now be at stake

Inside the voices strive for dominance
Like two hungry wolves over a tasty meal
And with the choices which are made in life
One gives a blessing while the other kills

We must always seek to be very cognizant
Of the choices each day which are made
So when the end time appears in our lives
By the Name of Jesus we are forever saved.
We should become more aware of what might happen because of the choices we make!

I yell
And scream
And cry
Because you call me crazy

I hit
And kick
And fight
Because you say I'm violent

I am only
What you see of me
It may not be the real me
But its how I am preceived

And how people choose to see me
Determines how I see myself.
What
The old me afraid,
And the girl who knew us both,
It's her who chooses.

You can see the ugly words that hurt;
or you can see the pain that lies underneath.
The perception will be your reality;
but your perception is your choice.
Shivers down my spine
Straight to my core
Darkness surrounds me like a blanket of smoke
sigh
Two glimpses of light
One to my left
Another close to my right
One is safety, the other... death
A few breaths is my time to choose
sigh
No signs, no clues
Which way to go?
The right is closer
No... Too easy
The left is brighter
sigh
Don't wanna think, don't wanna be
Never ending choices in time
Half a second
Time to decide
Take a deep breath
sigh
Closing my eyes
Welcoming death
I walk straight into the night
Turning left, then right
Turning all around
Eyes closed, in my mind, out of sight
sigh
My turn to die
I have a huge decision to make and all my options look grim.  I don't know choice is right or wrong, I'm praying for the strength to choode the right direction.

Couple of things you should know about me,

One: I don’t like you.

I don’t know you and I don’t like you.
It’s not your fault,
I have been programmed this way,
An overbearing, overprotective monarch of a father
Combined with school yard bullies,
Teachers, priests, mother,
Evil grandmother,
And bad 1980’s movies all combined to ensure that
I don’t like you.
Stranger Danger,
Go away.

Two: You don’t know me.

How could you?
I don’t know myself.
The ‘me’ you find presented before you is nothing more than layers of ******* piled one on top of the other,
By family, friends, school yard bullies,
Morning cartoons, Atari, broken hearts and a mind that never sleeps,
(Certainly never shuts the **** up!)
A product of a society
No more advanced in this age of information
Then when we crawled out of the proverbial goo,
Cheaply constructed, covered with flashy pleasing knick-knacks,
Prettily packaged and presented for your purchase,
Swipe your credit card debt here please,
Yet not build to last.
I am lost somewhere deep beneath the ‘me’ that was chosen by
‘You’.
This has been popping in and out of my head for years. Not sure where it comes from but thought best to explore it.
Everytime someone helps me or offers me something
I build up feelings of guilt and obligation and
I feel ashamed by disappointing the ones
which were nice to me before.

But in reality there is no debt, no obligation at all.
There are only decisions, decisions if you want to be obligated.
Forced upon you by yourself and the principles
you want to stay true in your life.

Do I follow my love? Do I follow my belief?
It's you, who decides, nobody else.
As it is your choice, as it is your responsibility,
shaping up the life you will have,
shaping up the life you will show.
We often think we must responst to something given by giving something back or to act in a specific way because of the way we were treated before. We feel debted thus forcing something upon us. But you alone decide who you want to be, what you want to stand for and what you want your life to mean for others.
