Fetching success
Reappak Apr 2020
It was the success
Which I always ran after
spending days fetching it
In life's each chapter

I hiked the highest mountains
Dived the deepest seas
I fished the fluffiest cloud
But success was nowhere to be seen

I entered the darkest den
Climbed the highest tree
Drank the reddest blood
But success always
Ditched me!

Success was like the horse in the field
Running fast and free
failure was what I only got
When I wished taming,
The horse in the field

It was very late
When I found success
was all along in my pocket
Sitting right besides me

Success was in the journey
I took to climb the heights
It sat besides the road
Watching me days and nights

Success was not the horse
But the field it ran in
Success always held my hands
Like a silent, desired kin!

Curiosity kills this cat
Reappak Apr 2020
Its the curiosity,
Which keeps killing this cat
Displaying heights of atrocity
Causing my death, flat!

Even curiosity, can't unfold
What secrets the stars sell
What makes the sun shine so bright
With all its power, all its might!

It's my friend, the curiosity
Which wholehearted accompanies me
When under an oak tree
or on the ***** rocks
by the wild sea

It's the curiosity
Which despite sitting besides
Never responds
To this curious black cat!
Reappak Apr 2020
Its the night sky
Which provides me hope
How the darkness is temporary
And the nights are for sure to pass
Sleepless nights, depressed nights, full of anxiety
The night sky was which told me
That past is sure the past
Like a star in the sky,
Not important, nor hidden
Its the moon which whispered to me
How you can always shine
Whether the nights are grey or black
and whether your life is broken or hidden
Like the crescent moon, or a half one
There is a time when you always collect your courage
And shine completely, like a full one
Full of hope and shine!

Anything I wish
Reappak Apr 2020
I had to write on anything I wished
There was this demand
So I decided to write on ****
Which goes down in troops
Entering the toilet's streams
A chocolate mousse it seems
You may say, you may say yikes
But that is how the toilet likes
Yes it smells! Yes it stinks
Yet its fun to watch it
Plop, drop and kink!!

The building and the tree
Reappak Apr 2020
"I'm taller now"
the building said
"I'm older" the tree replied
"A hundred years ahead!"

"I carry humans"
The building spoke
"Provide shelter too!"
Oh dear Mr. Tree! What do you do?

"I bear fruits"
The tree told
"I'm a home to the birds"
Oh Mr. Building! This is what I do

"Ah! I'm stronger!"
The building argued
"I'm made of bricks and stones
Oh dear Mr. Tree! How strong are you?"

"I've lived the storms"
The tree responds
"On me the flowers bloom!
My dear brother! I'm whey stronger than you"

"It's the humans I carry"
The building added
"The ones that planted you!"
Now who's important? Me or you!

"I allow them to breath"
The tree sighed
"I give them fresh air!
Yet cutting me down
Is their very pride"

The building now was hushed
Not a single word
All his pride crushed
Now it felt absurd!

Strong ones
Reappak Apr 2020
"If you can't feed a hundred
Feed just one"
She said
Yet millions of mouths today
Are not properly fed

She said that luck is nothing
Only "preparation meeting opportunity "
Yet to the date,unluckiness
Is cursed infinity!

She said that "you can achieve anything
If you've got enough nerve"
But yet cowardness
Is ready to be served

"Being treated like a second class citizen"
She was now tired
Yet millions like her today
Have their black color inquired

"Alone we can do so little
Together we can do so much"
Said, the famous blind girl
Yet her unity, is trapped in a hutch

"A child, a teacher, a book and a pen
Can change the world" she said
But yet millions of them today
are considered illiterate instead!

Essential things, quoted beautifully
By Hellen kellar and Malala Yousufzai
Hundreds of courageous ones, to be set free
As asked by Oprah Winfrey

Thousands of them to be loved
Said by Mother Teresa, our beloved
Can you ignore these sayings?

Silly one
Reappak Apr 2020
I was walking my way
And I swear I wasn't astray
When I thought someone followed me
When I turned, it said I'm death
But I swear it looked like Macbeth
I continued walking my way
And I swear I wasn't astray
When I again thought someone followed me
When I turned it said I'm fate
But I swear it looked like Bill Gates
I wanted to catch him, but he ran away
Then I started walking my way
And I swear I wasn't astray
When I again thought someone followed me
When I turned they said we're your ***** socks
But I swear they looked like Megan fox
I still walked my way, I still wasn't astray
When I turned I saw someone nearly eighteen
And held a teddy like Mr. Bean
I still walked my way, nearly astray
When I met someone immune desirous
It said I'm corona virus
That's when I went astray
My voice like a donkey's bray
And at last I reached Bombay!
This is the reason I hate Mondays!!!
This is a meaningless one, just to ease my brain

Moon (3)
Reappak Apr 2020
Indeed your misery is correct
Light from the sun you reflect
But you're wrong, that you don't deserve respect
Just because light you borrow and reflect?
What about the courage you collect
and the moonlight, on the land you inject
and the hopeless hearts below, you affect
such as the girl who helplessly wept
and seeing you shine, she peacefully slept
oh dear! Never forget
That you fight and shine in black nights
Indeed, you deserve respect:)
Never mind , I'm obsessed with the moon;)

Blue skies no more
Reappak Apr 2020
When the sun dives down
Flaunting behind its orange gown
And the skies don't remain blue
Strange, yet enigmatic without a clue
Its when the orange, conquers the skies
And the fatigued mother bird
Closes her eye

Gratitude
Reappak Apr 2020
Times may look like a mess
Staying in home, maybe a stress
The locked doors might irritate you
Surely, the empty shops and streets will too
But have you ever thought
How the poor would be fraught
The ones who may not have a home
Or those who temporarily jobless roam
From education some may be away
For them the skies might be gray
Its good we are stress free
And laying on beds
We read poetry
I hope you guys are laying on a bed and reading poetry😂

Quarantine
Reappak Apr 2020
Quarantine, a blessing it may be
When the busy ones, admire their baby
And the daughter dresses her father
With the clips and bands, making him fancy
Its a time when all laugh and glee
And observe their family's beauty
Which was wrapped in love and glory
and yet you are unhappy
Thinking its a mess only?
Stay home stay safe😄😄😄

Moon (2)
Reappak Apr 2020
Oh yes! Alone it may seem
The shining bead, iced in cream
But it has many to talk
On it, the tinkerbells walk
And then they make its braid
And dress it like the bridesmaid
Although it may not be the bride
But it is yet happy and dressed, all in white😉

Moon
Reappak Apr 2020
Sometimes I wish to ask the moon
Why always it glooms
Has it ever smiled?
Or is it too the lonely child
Depressed inside, but seemingly wild!
I hope you know what I meant by the lonely child😰

Rights for all

Rights for women

Most crucial creatures on earth
No man can dare their worth

A life without them is incomplete
Maybe worse than hell fire's heat

A figure worthy than diamonds lives in our life
Sister, daughter, mother or wife

Respect this creature in life Oh man!
Make life paradise for her, I know you can!
___________

Rights for children

Brawl for your rights young lives
Do it, before another friend's soul dies

You need your rights to be fulfilled
To get all the things you willed

Reject the enforcer of child labor
Even if it is marked as an unpaid favor

Fight the ones rejecting your education
Keep studying till your qualification

Report about the wicked tormentor
His punishment will be incredibly tremendous

Fray for your freedom young beauties
But also remember your duties😊
Women and children are a special gift in this world....... Respect them

The train ride
Reappak Apr 2020
Sunrise, we boarded the train
Weather was misty, with little rain

All were happy, all were cheerful
Hoping the ride would be peaceful

At noon, when sun kissed our skins
Came a knock from a folk, tall and thin

The lofty figure, all dressed in green
Entered hastily, with a big scream

"There is fire on the train behind"
That cheat cleverly played our minds

Then a fish market was all you saw
A horrible scene, impossible to draw

After all the tempest, and the storms
Bad and glad tidings formed

"There's no fire" the news spread
Misinformation our minds fed

Nothing but a lie told
While he stole all our gold

And the journey ended sad
Horrible, devastating and bad

Soon the angels whispered my mind
Make sure first, don't be blind
For all those who easily get fooled, learn lessons from the passengers on the train!!!! Stay home stay safe!!!

The journey
Reappak Mar 2020
Slowly, I advance towards my destination
Bravely, but lacking dedication

Often I complain about this journey
How is it even worthy?

I criticize this intolerable heat
And the coarse and bumpy street

I grumble why the stems are wearing thorns
And the rocks and stones cover the lawns

Suddenly, an angel appears
And teaches me lessons essential and dear

He says; about journeys I'm unaware
What importance in future they wear

"Journeys make you confident" he states
" how incredibly it changes fates

They make you flawless and mature
A fruitful tomorrow they insure

On personalities they perform miracles
and undo all the chain and shackles

Admire the present journeys instead
Avoiding all the hate and dread

Witness the petals, not the thorns
Be grateful, it's the sun, not the storms

Fight the failure and the wrath
Fetch the fruit in every path

The nail in her shoe
Reappak Mar 2020
There was a dreadful nail in her shoe
But still she went to pick her child from school

She was in a hurry as she was already late
As she scurried out our wooden gate

I could not believe she had a nail in her shoe
But still she agreed to pick her child from school

The bumpy road and the scorching heat
By her courage, she could easily beat

I couldn’t believe there was a nail in her shoe
But still she agreed to pick her child from school

To subdue all the turns and bumps she did not fail
Despite the scorching heat and the dreadful nail

I could not believe there was a nail in her shoe
But still she agreed to pick her child from school

“Is it not hard to walk” I asked
With a nail in the shoe, it is a big task

“why not go and change instead?”
But some golden words were what she said

“I go through many hurdles my dear”
A nail in the shoe is pretty familiar

The coerce foes are like a nail in my shoe
The devalue of people adds to the pain too

But I turn a deaf ear to them dear
Cause their opinions are unworthy to hear!

The time emporium
Reappak Mar 2020
Today I dreamt of something strange
Something impossible, something out of range

It wan an idea pretty change
Some time and money you could exchange

Plenty of folks were present there
Short, thin, dark or fair

"Why do you come here?" To ask I cared
"To buy some time" he declared

A slight of time I need to buy
Cause my mom is about to die

If I can buy her a little time
Her memories with me would be fine

She'll have times to remember
When of the grave world, she'll be a member

How she did give birth to a son
Who was busy in his life and fun

Nearby, a girl tall and thin
With an ugly pimple on her chin

Spoke; time I also want to acquire
So time for self care I could spare

Blame the competition and success'  greed
I forgot, self care is an essential deed

And then interrupted another folk
He too, would have taken time a joke

Obviously! There he started too
Acting and modeling he wished to do

If he had voiced his wishes on time
His career today would be sublime

And some time, is now what he needs
So his dreams he could heed

On a vast unknown land
Earning gold lessons, I stand

How the time gone will ne'er return
Nor the past shall return

And then to Earth I return back
Knowing time is what I lack

How this daydreaming buried my time
With a frown, now I whine

"Do you know where is the time emporium"
"Tell me which way lane leads to the time emporium"

— The End —
