Those angel eyes, they tell it well.
They speak of how we met in hell.
Your luscious lips, and those **** eyes.
A glimpse of heaven shining through the skies.
My favorite laugh is yours and mine.
After red wine, your cheeks are lovely and divine.
The summer breeze, the pale blue sky.
The day you told me that you loved me,
I almost died.
The golden day, my dearest memory.
When you held my hand and we floated through that field.
We said I do. Our hearts combined.
As the moon shined...
On your angel eyes,
And
I see them well.
I promise to love you until...
The end.

I watched as you go
Leaving footsteps on my path of woe
Whatever do you mean
By the "how are you's" that you spoke?

The cards of desperation are sent
And are now left in the dark inside me
Where ever you went
You were always there beside me.

Oh, what a silly poetry you made
Out of a thousand vows in this world
That should be said in the holiness of yours
You pick mine
My "I love you dearly, my dear."

Oh, what a silly boy you are
How could you ever said sorry to me?
You shouldn't, I insist.
At least we had our "we"
Before we had our "were".

It's my fault, it's truly is my fault.
To fall, for someone like you.
To die, for being beside your
Cold, dead, lifeless, beautiful soul.

I'm sorry..
I'm sorry..
*I'm sorry..
I wished for your best, K.
I always do..

Black oil,
Tarnished the white sands of a paradise that is,
No longer a paradise,
Because no matter how much you try to clean it up,
It will always be a shade darker than it used to be.
Not fully regaining its color.
The thick molasses no longer holds it together,
Africa, seems broken beyond repair.

Diamonds don't shine as bright as Rihanna suggested.
Instead they glow red,
With the blood stains of the innocents,
Slaughtered for wedding rings.

Bullets...
Cutting into the flesh of my ancestors,
Like those very diamond cutting into glass,
Because what is life compared to,
A piece of rock?

There is a pseudo-melodramatic darkness that,
Echoes off of every piece of light they reflect.
Sitting only on the fingers and necks
Of the people who can afford them,
As fingers and necks were chopped and severed for them.
I am unable to identify with the cries that still manage to,
Resonate within the wind,
Apparently...
I am the only one that can hear it.
This is just a poem about something that doesn't sit well with me. No amount of time can pass that it will.
Plain white in flush,
This clean shining linen has fitted me.

I’m trouble-free now.
I was filled with joy,
For He has clothed me
With both salvation and victory.

I can’t wait but I will..
For His time is as perfect as it is!
For He became my eternal light,
As His own glory shines on me.

Brighter than the stars He is.
More lasting than the sun and moon,
There, his light tenders me with truth;
My sins, he has removed –
As far as the east is from the west.

He who has formed me
Will soon be my Groom.
And in the altar of grace,
I will wait with full persistence.

The Groom Himself will be delighted.
For He knows I became faithful,
And have prepared for that day.

It's the wedding feast of the Lamb,
And a fresh start is about to come!
And saying “I do, Lord”
Will make me a new Jerusalem!

You place a finger to my lips
To signify some change;
The wind outside the building shifts,
The curtains rearrange.
Questioning I glance at you:
Your eyes take in the problem
And deem that something is askew,
From top until the bottom.
And then they strike! the serpents
Who guarded tombs of old
Had sneakéd through the curtain
And crept across the floor.
We dash up to the rooftop
But this is in the desert;
Our path of flight, it must stop
That we may end this hurt.
You draw your saber, slowly
All others they gather round
Ev'ry wedding guest holding
To their host's every word
You tell them of the valor
That awaits a man alive
And that it's your desire
That everyone survive.
They arm themselves, bravely
And descend through the floor
To the storey down below me
And shutter the trapdoor.
The plan is simple: find one
And **** the serpent dead
As soon as youve slain it,
Deliver here its head.
The many serpents saw us
And, hissing, took their aim
But not a one escaped us
For our leader, host, the same
He led them without falter
Guiding without doubt
And when the last was severed
We gave a triumphant shout.
The feast continued, slowly
Just as it was before
But none thought little of the man
Who secured their lives once more.
Sometimes I write stories. Usually if they're poem form they stink. But I thought this was better than most attempts in the past. Wedding party in the Sahara gets attacked by a group of snakes, probably magical, and one man gives them the courage to fight. I have no idea where that came from. Probably too much TV ;D

a day of spring
a day for a wedding
a day opening the door to--

Wearing the gown you have chosen for me
I walked through the aisle with this pink bouquet
A smile painted in me with sparks of  love
Now I'm going to forget yesterday

You welcomed me with your arms open wide
You held my hand and let me wear the ring
We gave our vow then the kiss, as a seal
We heard our heartbeats like the songs we sing

The people's joy and the greetings they gave
As endless as the love that you recite
We entered our room to complete our bind
To wait for another dream for a night.

This is your day in the sun,
Your day of triumph,
Of commitment,
Of promise and intention,
Of New Beginnings,
The end of loneliness.
This is the new foundation,
The plying together of bricks and mortar
The bricks to give colour and shape,
The mortar to give structure and soundness,
So that together you are an impregnable fortress
With doors of heartfelt love,
Windows of vision,
Rooms of peace and generousity,
Furnishings of service and beauty,
And a garden of sweet memories to grow.
I wish you success at every turn,
Joy on every path,
Delight in all the little things of life,
Deeply rooted and vigorously sprouting shoots of loyalty and love
Nurtured on the fertiliser of experience and wisdom,
And
LONG LIFE TOGETHER!
with
very much love
