Sometimes all it takes
Is to realize that you’re awake.
The change that you dream of,
Is in your hands and not miles away.

The grass may seem greener from where you stand,
But to the fellow across the pond,
You have it all right in your hands,
And you’re a fool in paradise,
Wishing for something you already have.

When the light seems far away
Don’t turn around, keep walking straight
You’ll notice that no matter how far you get,
Your first step is what takes you miles away,
To the place where it all will change,
And it will feel like yesterday,
That you were running and now you’re making waves.

There is always another side,
The light at the end of the tunnel,
You just have to open your eyes,
To see that you’ve already reached it.
Let today shine bright
Choose my attitude this hour
Every thought I think
Spreads and ripples on with power
All the seeds I plant
Will in time bear fruit and flower
Today let my light shine bright

Choose well, for today I lose or win
Stand firm in the way that I begin
Stay bold, when others say to wait
Act today, before it grows too late

My success is sure
When I’m focused on today
And the prize I’ll gain
Helping others on the way
And my wealth will grow
When I confidently say
Today let my light shine bright

Choose well, for today I lose or win
Stand firm in the way that I begin
Stay bold, when others say to wait
Act today, before it grows too late

I hope for brighter future
I hope that I'll be bright
I hope beggars find nurture
And place to spend the night
I hope that you find love
Have children and a spouse
I hope you'll have enough
My hopes could build a house

when your laugh is a cry for help
how can we tell?

your mouth is twisted upwards
into a cascade of muscles and sunshine
where we will never find the darkness

when your dark words tell a brighter story
how can we tell?

the words so dear to you to us
have rebelled against their meaning
"vague and unclear" is vague and unclear

when your long sleeves hide beautiful scars
how can we tell?

they don't roll up
even on sunny days
concealing a cursed tale etched in your skin

when the sun never sets
how will we ever gaze upon the moon?
and when the light is never turned off,
how will you sleep?

why do anything if it will fall short of perfection?
i have a reputation, after all
and ive been dragging its corpse with me
for a long long time
the weary old corpse of when the sun still shined
and i had dared to be brighter

It was the arrangement of the stars
As i was brought in here
Sun in pisces
Oh, was it my fault
I saw it end before it even began
i was saving two ends from tying knot
From damaged knits and sorrow
I felt it like you sense a coming
Tragedy or a storm
On a bright day in warm arms
I felt it in rushing heartbeats
And in withdrawing tongues
That self-realization is on your front door
And later that night your
Atoms will soon be weary of mine
Must i be mad and blame
That cosmic movement for
This piscean intuition
Must i be mad for i had not
Felt love as it was
For this heart was already in
The crashing end, ready to free you
When you so willingly still
wanted to be held
Had i not, Youd be the one
to let loose while i was still in
the comfort of your arms
and id be the one to beg
Love me and my misery, again
But i dont intend to shame myself
On a bright day in warm arms
I saved two hearts from crashing
i wish that youre still in the same place that i am. Yung lugar na nanghihinayang, lugar na namimiss ka pa rin. Sana bumalik sa dati. Sana ako parin.

Ashes rise to the sky
Like fireflies
Reach a height then disappear
Such a short, bright life.

Somewhere across the stars,
Racing in the night,
I saw your face as it beamed back at me,
Rolling upon the hills so high.
We'll take flight someday,
As we soar through the fields of butterflies,
A song dancing in the night,
While watching the stardust in your eyes.
Something about the way you smile,
When the mountains tumble by your window.
It's you and me forever
This frosty midnight.

You brighten up my day
in such a peculiar way.
My usual blue feeling
morph into a smile which the
familiar tears can't wash away.
