My fingers tap against the keyboard. The stars linger above my cross-legged, country trance spilling across the indigo campfire sky. Jasmine ransacks my senses dazing my context of the red, wooden bridge, and my head tilts upward both in flowering pleasure and earnest reverence. The stars become you. We bathe in naked sunlight. The heavens fall to earth, and I capture its ecstasy  in bodiless waking moments.

Might as well be the law of demographics
In that people who are favored in some places
Are not going to be cared for in others as much.
The news is definitely a place...
After all: North East West South,
More than one place to correct a leading message.
It's easy to get haughty
And to just as easily plunge to distress,
But the body needs to feel both
To remember it's mortality.
It's so weird watching the news and seeing how political candidates are disliked or liked in a majority scene, whereas I go to work and people adore the person being mocked, jeered, etc. What a wacky world haha but I love it!

Some people are so busy trying to direct karma that it ends up biting them in the ***.

I'm blah blah blah
What do you do for a living?
If asked

Beside maintaining
Homeostasis
Nothing more

Just reply

Flowers in a field look so lovely.
Flowers in a field how your colours burn so bright.
Flowers in a field with breezes sway so gently.
Flowers in a field reaching skyward craving light.

Wild grasses grow amongst such beauty.
Wild grasses grow to set the balance right.
Wild grasses grow not in awe of what’s around them.
Wild grasses grow knowing they are equals in His sight.

Leave it Open...

Have you left your mind wide open
Is there things that must be spoken
Remember life here is a balance
We all have lots of talents
Those talents are ours to share
And sharing can make you aware
Being aware of others skills
Can lead you to life changing thrills....

Sometimes your mind is so ope. That all your brains falls out

The feeling of the saltwater getting through my hair, is amazing to.

The balance you make while standing on your board, like you're finally completed.
Like my heart is on the right place.

Irony so sweet it tickles
A shiver inside your mind ripples
Feed on the flood you starved on trickles
What you weave casts back in triples.

Find the center
Firm on two feet
Your mind you should enter
So mistakes don't repeat.

Serenity is learnt
Inside your darkest yearn
Accepting all you weren't
While being all you've earnt.
Not that I haven't said this before
But recently, I've felt the need to say it more
My emotions are running deep, like a river
That treads off course, and images are cutting me
Like paper cuts that make the insides of my skin
Sting of soreness

A fortress of imagination
Broken down in a moment's instant
I feel almighty, on top of a mountain's point
But like a pencil sharpened too loose
I break, falling off this high-rise
And feeling my moment lose its momentum
A totem that has stopped spinning
As I lose control into the waves
Of another current, down below

Its purpose?

To slow me down
But how would I know...?
I'm just another moment
That has turned upside down
With only places left to fall
And nowhere left to go.
This poem marks one of the first times in my experiences writing poetry, that it's been the starting piece of a sequence of poems to follow. That said, it still has a life of its own, as each poem does. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for reading.
