I want your love your special touch that finds my soul,
That holds my tears in your eyes,
That kisses my breath in your mouth.
My ******* long for your matador,
And the moon at our backs,
Hiding your hands,
Holding me in your embrace
With lavender folding around our bodies,
Kissing the dew of tears one last time...
Oh darling,
How you rained down on me slowly in poetry
Now snow white rays of clarity that shows
That bed of river flowing in our quietude here..
I love you darling,
Oh so much
The Year Had Been Going Great
Then I saw her name
I knew it wasn't over
with my broken heart ...

I started crying again
I guess I love to much
I dont understand why
It has to start ...

I see rainbows throughout my life
with colors that sparkle
cold and worn
I lived life
with each day I am told...

I remember that morning
as we sat and swore
promising promises
that never did we wore,
wondering how the expressions
of our fair weather came
and flattened our souls
underneath it seems ...

Where did the poison come from
as it ran down my cheek
that flattened my heart
as you began to speak...

Why did she have to appear
ruining my year
as we stretch to the new one
do I still want to be here? ...

Questions with no answers
ruin my life
as i wander around
with my head cut off ...

Maybe one day
it will be alright
when can I fly to see my love this fair weather day
Is love really blind
someone told me that
today
as i coast along life
not knowing which way to go ...

Dear love I pray and ask
where have you gone?
its almost 2015
the night seems
well so long
I fight whats right
I fight for life
oh dear Lord
I just want to scream...**

My heart opens to nowhere
as I look through brown glass
I hope to see you one last time
that maybe just maybe, my soul
will quit searching and peering through
a thousand eyes of poetry ...

I have lived life as it meant nothing
everyone was invisible as I prodded on.
Those were the days, hot summer nights
of meanings. There were the days before we
had our own place, small but affordable many
nightmares of love drifting away ...

Heaven calling loved ones, one at a time'
I close my eyes, what else can I do, but wait
and years have passed by, and now the oneness
and the loneliness that creeps in our way of life ...

Your chance, and the many feelings I have to
discern and disarm, trying to listen to reason,
not knowing what the times will bring
with keys in hand I open the door ...

Dear Oneness you cant have me anymore..*

Dear You...

My pen writes and flows
Straight from the heart it knows
I write to write
Because I write
I write because it's me

This person or that might not like
This person or not
Maybe so, maybe no
All I know is I like to write...

Because I write for thee
and the poetess in me...

Debbie Brooks 2014
I write for thee and me...
You told me your feelings
so deep they were
they made me cry...

The honesty dug deep
born forth a rapture
that brought me to my knees...

You took me by the hand
squeezed my very soul
ripped my tears from their sockets
held with a force that shall keep me
in the endless days of Utopia's fortune...

Deep feelings they are
tears of joy brought forth
our vision, our *******
in the form of a perfect image...

Here it is a little after dusk
deep in thought and I must
tell you what I feel~

You see my heart breaks this frightening day
I swallow the misery that lumps my throat
looking for a memory or two
waiting oh waiting~just for you~
looking at my sadness
inside out
fighting one so near so far
fireflies blooming in the twilight so near~
kissing the other so playful dear
glass of wine my tears do fall
choking my heart in misery it seems
sadness, madness, flows to my human nature
blue eyes streaming silver and gold
there is no one to blame
but me it seems
my thoughts are scambled
so many come in the twilights
yes, nights without you are so hard
gripped by desperation I guard
that leave me to my dreams so real
the only hopes I have to tell
sitting at the window straining to see
the bright lights that used to fall
around you and me~
darkness deepens so many more
leaves me to dream my memories
enveloping  like a plague and so many for sure
is what's left of your heart tonight?
attempting to douse my inner life
a turbulent storm rises from the east
trigger unknown so mighty deep
the wind starts to swirl around the trees
bringing my life all around me
the window is is my protection as I strain to look'
maybe oh maybe, you are looking at what you took
my heart was there for you to have
branding me that cuts my heart
and pesters my spirit so deep~
I will never belong to your faithful few
you will be always gone to me
your hurtful words I hear, I cry
deep in my mind you'll always be
Reaching into my deepest heart this night
you are deep in my mind
oh my love, I am fearful and full of fright.

Debbie
A briny deep of ink blobbed in a single drop
trembling at the tip of my head,
sliding to my toes, poised above
the golden trees of old parchment.
Deeper than the stroke of rouge
opera, with touch of light
and sable in the eyes, with
a love just as passionate
as when my heart found
my muse, and first penned it ....

How simple it would have been
like a rose that has risen our
love, like a bloom, more within
our flower, that you kissed,
days live within, for many suns to see,
moons reply, where Angels fly
and ride chariots of gold.
To love the hand that guide
my heart within loving seas
that rest under my loves breath
that is set deep in my eyes .....

Debbie Brooks 2014
The heaviest of heavens pluck the heart
Drawn of bittersweet figures of delight
As with your shadow with these she did play
Different flowers odors do seem
A little bit with the others in hue.......

Saturn lays at the doorstep of love
Hath a spirit of love in the youth
When proud pied June, dressed in all its warmth
The roses so red blooms with sweet sweet smell...........

Cruel of souls of the wicked do play
Cast away cold this frightful day
What more is there to offer
What more I  do pray...................

It's quite a burden I do declare
The beautiful light simply went away
The tears are shed  on this mournful night
Holding onto souls trying to find the light...............

Oh yes tho almighty One I do pray
Sweeps the mournful many night skies
Looking around searching for the lies
Waiting and searching for the fateful fright...

The deep vermillion do play
With each others hearts come what may
To measure a man at the pearly gates
Look oh look what you will undertake...

The Rose of orange they do play
The hearts of red will love to stay
The tears of yellow will come what may
each and every fateful day.....

Despair was her name
welcoming death was the game
one shade brown turn to gold
her heart was so stone cold
her black hair flew around her face
she knew she was in much disgrace
her long red dress revealed her soul
her darkness she knew could not be sold
her lover left her high and dry
sought her for a time
yet so eloquent she did abound
her smile won hearts, with eyes that glowed ...

Despair's heart was broken this night
with ambers of broken flame
that crushed her spirit oh this far
that made her pounce as he walked by
the night was icy and bitter cold
the blood seemed to over flow
she walked far into the field
with blood dripping from her soul
there was no time for sorrow
no time for pain
such misery was not to gain
her lover she left laying half eaten
he would never leave her side again ...

Debbie Brooks 2014
As he blows her in the direction of the sun
she hopes he will return with her love
as she picks up a amber red light
holding the stern with thorns in place
what she fears the most is the deadliest of all
no love to bring to her bow,
he is the reason she is most happy
every single night ...

Ever in the darkest hours
the days turn to brightest
with the loveliness of flowers
finding out its not real
the primal heat, a lover revealed
something she can touch, see and feel
marked by the moon, of the yellowish nights
with scared scares, with a veil of shadows
that only comes when she is alone
Oh wow, here comes the direction of the sun ...

Debbie Brooks 2014
Walls so long, hold heartache in
distance so far, tears have fallen
nasty words, flow between
mouths that hurt so many new
can't find some kindness today
I guess it all blew away
distance comes, distance goes
friends seek others I know
blasted hearts do not care
what has befallen others it seems
people die, fall down and cry
oh tell me, why oh why?
Stardust falls, and falls again,
lighting flashes so much when
storms a brew what a delight
that flashes life all about

So it seems, life doesn't care

who hurts, or grasps for air ....

Debbie Brooks 2014
What is divine, with so much of you, your heart
which i have seen, as your soul touched my soul
that changed the essence of you, as your lips pressed
my life, my hope, that went beyond all limits
so much more, as my tears cry for you, into the bliss
of ecstasy.

With love so simple, without thinking, drawing every
breath, with pure affection, it is easier to love someone
with their flaws, I want to love the whole you,
and not **** through the bad.

To feel you with the breeze on my face, to feel your sense
with your familiar thread pulling my heart, my soul, my life
unraveling me, holding me telling me what I want to hear
knowing this will be the rest of my life.

I want to be loved by the same lips that have always loved me
before the beginning of time, before I was and before you,
with my open soul, and ****** promises to my open body
is where we stand on this uneventful day of ecstasy.

Debbie Brooks 2015
Invite beauty into your life
embrace the beauty of spirit and free
you will be amazed at what you see
walking though life in a haze
there are some things I remember so clearly
like the senseless pain, and maybe the death...

This hurts the soul, too many times
maybe its never over you see
maybe we always carry our wars around inside of us
ticking away, waiting to go off
or maybe we will invite beauty
into our very souls.....

The inner core must come alive
with miracles that can abide
with generously blessed energy
with visions and dreams come alive..

Let me invite the beauty
help me to keep from crying...

Debbie Brooks 2014
Within the night, deep into the wellness of her mind
which hides pain, that lay hidden in her Pandora's box
are the tears and loves she has no more
as her sanity was slowly slipping way....

With her labyrinth of dreams she grabs hold
drips with madness this day
she grabs hold of the screams of the night
all she hopes for has flown out the door.....

If her life is between fate and hope
then her reasoning wouldn't last
with blood angels in the distance
she braces her attack from descent madness...

She sings the starlight serenade
her sadness grows, only her fingertips
grasp for the edge of the world
with her last breath the reflections of long ago....

Take This Kiss Upon THE Brow!
AND IN Parting From YOU NOW
Thus Much LET ME Avow-
YOU ARE NOT Wrong, WHO Dream
That MY Days Have Been A Dream
YET IF Hope HAS Flown Away
IN A Night OR IN A DAY
IN A Vision OR IN None
IS IT Therefore THE Less Gone?
ALL That WE SEE OR Seem
IS BUT A Dream Within A Dream.

I Stand Amid THE Roar
OF A Surf Tormented Shore
AND I Hold Within MY Hand
Grains OF THE Golden Sand
HOW FEW! YET They Creep
Through MY Fingers TO THE Deep
While I Weep- While I Weep
O Goodness! CAN I NOT Grasp
Them With A Tighter Clasp
O Goodness! CAN I NOT Save
ONE From THE Pitiless Wave?
IS ALL That WE SEE OR Seem
A Dream Within A Dream?

Embraces of the fore long ..
the dreams of spirits draws us near
embraces wraps us with love
even when we are gone..

Our pen holds us captive
memories threads us through
each others fingers
kissing the air we breathe..

Our mind holds on to the loneliness
fingers write with a flair
arms draw one near
that loves the most and the deepest
eyes see what is written
of the dearest one of all..

Life begin the day I saw you
fluttering around you like a school girl
my wings start to flutter
you slung your net to capture
and I am embracing the change....

You dried away the tears
kissed my heart so nice
having transformed before your very eyes
then I awaken to a million kisses
and I have embraced the change...

You lift me up to your very soul
lick the tips of my toes
sing to me your melody
arising to the morning sun
as I approach I say, I have embraced your change...

The water was soothing to my face
you hold me so very very close
my clothes are shredded
my feet grounded in soft ground
my darling, I am ready for your change...

these are only words
words I can't explain, pain never goes away
it comes and goes, beyond mention ...

arms are like led
head hurts so, just let me go
as it comes and goes, beyond mention ...

walking down my life, while my body burns
insults fill my heart
while I pretend all is well, as it goes beyond mention ...

i don't want to think anymore, but I cant seem to get it out of my head
i wonder if words ever think of me?
so why am i ever struck with the pain, that goes way beyond ...

now the hurtful things go way beyond, why aren't you here
i cry, tear after tear, and I wonder
if these bones will dissolve and go way beyond...

You who has shown me everything
in every way,
by blessing me with such love,
bestows me with knowledge of you
my love ...

My benevolent heart, and your gentle smile
makes me cry with joy, in our crowning city
that will spark the nocturnal flame.

You stand firm against my heart
what is cherished on this earth.
My eyes speak tongues like Saints
in accents of sweet
passion ...

Bit by bit my passion
your presence becomes a stairway
embodied by your image
that sealed my sacred adoration
within the true inspiring love ...

My time on earth will be bound with heaven
and its industry supreme wisdom
and power, the pleasing light
that passes through the portal of my soul
that brightens with your proud
towers of love ...
As I untrusted my heart to you...

Divine heavenly sanguinity
blessed prehensile thoughts
of two souls sitting atop floating clouds
basking in sun’s glory.
Travelling as the drift takes us…sometimes
kissing mountain tops or dancing in the vale,
flowing along with the gurgling
stream, touching each pebble so gently
caressing each fern, each shore.
Sea the ultimate destination
merging into nothingness, yet
you and I granted immortality
unending mirth and laughter.
Heaven and earth our abode
Of two bodies and one soul.

Our divine heavenly bodies
bless us with my red rainbow
our two souls floating in the different shades,
translucent of my colors
with sweet rain on our lips
kissing the ultimate of desire,
as we try and stay within the lines
somehow we drift, into the others  being,
with each stroke of your hand
you always bring me back to you
with each touch you transform
my blank canvas to blend with yours
as the red returns back in my soul…

A face I can see with my mind’s eye

eyes naked beyond authenticity

only seen with my eyes undressed

your features your smile,

wondering if we met in a past life

and maybe yearning too,

as you touch my very life and caress my very soul

as I search my lonely heart, there is a tug I feel

that pulls me irresistibly, in a direction

that I am not sure of ...

Your naked eyes were the windows

That wore mascara blinds

Through them looking at me was easy

But seeing my soul not

Now that you see me bare in all glory

Place your heart on mine

Let me tattoo each pore of yours

With my dulcet gentle caress

The rose petal road that I have chosen for us

Shall join us immortally….

I lay in your arms my brown eyed man'
your gaze moulding mine like clay
seamless my breathe moves like sand
melting, in your arms I stay....

Helpless by your side I shall sway
breathless i look through velvet skies
selfless you stay by my side
Brown eyes, I know you tell no lies....

Lifeless now your brown eyes gaze above the stars
forever we are in heaven's arms that nest
cold and wet like the moon's scars
endless now your brown eyes are above the rest.....

My brown eyed man..

Debbie
He sits in the park on the red bench
studying his subjects that he loves to write
two pine trees sanding tall
joggers running, wondering what their minds are thinking
is it money or friend or foe?

His look out at life brings others to their knees
one more harness of a beautiful churning mind
he can only wonder,
looking down at the pond, a young woman sits and waits
wanting to go sailing ...

He studies life, his love for mankind makes his heart so kind
closes his eyes to hear the wind,
looking at the buildings in the far distance
the light goes out in his mind, like a house of cards
the injustice of so many brings a damper on society ...

He guides his life back to the normal,
as he guides the ones he loves with a smile
he whispers so silently, love is here, don't cry
we will survive ...

All that knows him, adores him
he holds all beyond esteems
with respect and loving kindness
as he closes his eyes and prays ...

This is dedicated to my good friend Author H. Bennett Hubbard.

Him and his wife Barbara are great people..

Thank you for being my friends
As teardrops fell that lonely day
as hearts broke so long ago
the light I was wearing wore out
closing the last door behind me
losing myself in the moment
was the day I found you ....

The stories of the times
always made me cry
searching for love in the wrong places
never seeing a Pladrincs, wondering did they exist
waking up in the mornings wondering
what was to come, and there you stood ...

Like a stature of a god, with a light of gold
highlighting your smile that melted my heart
with a pen of gold your wrote my life
but never to have you hold my soul...

You were my man, the day I found you
the day you found me, I was your woman
now there is only death, facing us
as the day has transcend time and space
that is hidden in the gods that we seek ...

That was the day you found me and I found you
then it was gone...*

Forbidden Beauty

Velvet touch was her beauty
Sweet, nonsensical, magical sin
In her clandestine dreams
Detecting her whisper voice
In beauty times does swell
Her silence breathes come alive
With beauty to match no other ...

Her eyes had more beauty
than any rose
with dreams of supreme gifts
her man would explode
with her kiss as a pill
she sings notes of her love
voiced keys and intervals of tenor
she closes her eyes in search
of a remedy ...

She's healed his lonely heart
with only a smile
as she leaves him in awe
of her soul~he drives many a mile....

As a woman of divine
magnifications
her ambiance,
majestic with song
medicine of melody
tune ~ she is one of a kind.....

He realized with sadness
she's his lost fantasy
he escapes from the harshness of reality~
knowing oh knowing ~ she was
Forbidden for all to touch ...*

Is her forbidden beauty
You said, forever and ever
there you were reaching for me
maybe miles apart, but it didn't matter
because you said, forever and ever ...

So much as it remains in us
is the ability to love, and your forevers
are forever, I can feel it ...

Love that has grown, it will make us one
you make me speechless, breathless
full of emotion of pure love
yes your forevers are forever ...

You are mine and I am yours
and this is our forever mores ...

As the looking glass feels the soul
strength will be revealed
in the song book of life,
as it is told true beauty fully wonders.

ii.
Were we born in the arms of Angels
with heaven standing by
thats finds a way to the heart,
that had been bound by love forever.

iii.
Fate somehow bestowed on us
the arms of a shooting star
no one will ever love me,
that will be forever more.

iv.
The forever was willed upon this earth
pursued my way along
the corridors of heavens horizon,
in the vessel in the land of the stars.

Our fountains fragrance is better than perfume
lick orifice and love the sense and sensation of song
I began to devour our beautiful masterpiece of blooms
there is no greater drink than love that has blossomed along ...

Its the home of fantasy and desire of exotica
with each mutter of voice, I want to materialize
the delight surpasses all other tastes to be so ******
flesh to flesh, a beauty so full of discovery and naturalize ...

I adore so passionately, as anticipation arises
with every moment, my paradise is our fountain
my desire of tasting, with tender expression of revises
smooth on top....lips go moist, on our love mountain ...

"COMING SOON"

Sometimes in the night her frozen voice would crack
In the tight mountain hedge, she could hear the horse’s hooves
just knowing the princess was coming to snack
a sad tale unwinding , that so many could meet....

A spell wonder to a nonchalant breeze,
stood the princess wanting to succeed
a beautiful hidden disaster, the dragon was to come
fragments of her shattered life once more will become ...

Prism wonder frozen to the core
ice castles hidden from many an eyes sore
stood the dragon in all his beauty just waiting to succeed
in walked the princess not knowing the deed ...

Here my pretty eat the HONEY tonight
tomorrow you will be happy as a lark
disappearing towers ancient and tall
would swallow the princess once and for all ...

Reckless deeds neglect and hate
looking in the mirror to find her fate
Asleep falls the princess so sweet
as laughter and the Beie, our sweet honeybees
cry and plan to escape ...

Continue, as she would fly down the dragon’s path
to her surprise meeting the prince's wrath
one little kiss melted the arctic thaw
the princess was awake and a little raw......

an insert from my new children's book "Sweet Serenity"
He whispered, as he flickered along her neck
'you are here my love' ...

As shivers flew down her spine
she blushed to the roots of her hair
as he grabbed her by the waist
and twilled her along the floor ...

The universe seems so full
the emptiness has flown astray
'there is only us', he said, 'to love the night away'..

His way, his **** grin
made heat rise to her face
as her thoughts took her
to their bedroom once again ...

He took her mouth, His lips sliding
across her softness, as a small moan escaped
from her throat, his hand skimmed along her face
brushed the hair from her eyes
as he gathered the beads of sweat ...

Debbie Brooks 2014
The sun will rise to kiss the earth
as he tiptoes and stands in my life
looking out the window before
a gentleman he is, a lover he will be
and his eyes rises to meet mine
his lips starts with my hand
I hope you slept well my love ...

Melting my thoughts
as they merge with his
we reach through time
and seem so blessed
a gentleman and wow a lover he is ...

His Aroma fills my nostrils
makes me want to reach for him
he sees the look in my eyes
and gathers me to his chest
as i lay my head to dream
of his wonderful love ...

A rose he gives me
a love so full of life
every petal holds my heart
which he has so much to behold
as I write in my poem
I want him to know
what a wonderful gentleman
and a lover of the color of a rose , he brings into my life ...
My tears he blew away,
he knows when my lips need kissed
as I say, I just want to lay on your chest and love the day away....
What a gentleman my man is and wow what a lover
hurry home I cry,
as your pages whisper to me, love melts all around
tell me my gentleman, you are my prince so enchanting
will you always be???

Debbie Brooks 2014
You follow me in my silent screams
around the corner in my silent tears
I sit down and watch you bow
horse drawn carriage with a bough
this many a morning mist will prevail ...

All the wonder of my pride
will follow me and abide
traveling through my rapid mind
I see you lagging way behind ...

Dear Darlin, I know your dead
but it doesn't matter but instead
I see your movements through pride
a ghostly feeling that makes me drive
while tears make me rush ahead ...

Your my Ghost, my traveling past
following me where I may last
watching over me this day
but I really don't know why....

Debbie Brooks 2014
Give us this day, to look upon our lives
of fear and suffering, of response of all
a symbol of our strength, believing,
forever seeing ....

Seeing, the world as all should see
with visions of love, and acceptance
thats towering and compelling
just the way we are ...

With dragons as defenders
we climb to conquer our destiny
We will stand on top as our goblins
cower and fade away ...

With swamps of ogres to crush our dreams,
violence unleashed, immortal achievers
with no sight or hope of their own
will stand up and say no MORE! ...

So Give us this day, with willowy glimpse
of beauty and a wilderness to see
we have our friends, we call elves and fairies
to dream of castles, and acceptance and love ...

Its Been A Great Year
so many friends i have
some have come and gone
some have stayed so long
have had so much fun
cried a few tears
loved a many
my heart has rejoiced
and been broken
but have learned to move on
.........
What a great year
I kissed my sweetest honey
I wonder what I have done
to deserve such riches and gold
we embraced the warmest fires
and walked the boldest desires
until life took you and foretold ...

Life has been so great
love was always so blessed
what a great year
now a new one is starting

And Dee

So golden like with rays of golden mist
As a pair of loving birds seem entwined
With visions of beauty adorning eyelashes
He is the only one I see …

With eyes lock in the flame
I transform, morph in his love
With every moment that runs by,
My face blushing hotter as he stares …

His making love to me with his eyes
As I melt into his being, I exhale a heaving sigh…
As he touches my face and travels low
With the lowest of whispers, I murmur now please …

With a rush of electric ripples running through
From head to toe, as he peers deeper in my soul,
There is gentleness as he brushes my face with his,
As his passionate kiss, flows through my release …

______________
*With you standing so close to me
Aromas of your presence wafting with the breeze
Is it possible for a mere human like I
To restrain, pause and wonder why

Even Gods, in your presence
Would forego their piety and prescience
Your love, I catch with the tip of my tongue
That escapes your parted lips with a deep sigh

My eyes firing a staccato of cupid’s arrows
You standing in all your bare glory
The first touch is heaven’s ecstasy
The second, a desire for symmetry

As in fantasized temple’s libations
We climb mountainous manifestations
In a dancing and pirouetting flamenco
Reaching a rhythmic crescendo…

libations is the flow of liquid...as an offering in a temple
With a warm breath on my neck, she kisses my shoulder
I could feel my cold winter pass, as my dream comes true at last
generous is she, as she has revealed my open chest
as her face nuzzles and grins a little as her blue eyes
look into my piercing glaze,
with tenderness and care she gives herself ...

She poured herself as blood, to give my heart the desired love
her blood boiling in me, an unfamiliar feeling came over me
I could feel her course through my veins, pulsating my soul
our bodies shudder as we partake in our transfusion
the feeling was so overwhelming, I wouldn't dare stop it now ...

Sweat drops on my tongue, tasting the liquid of her passion
mouth to mouth we breathe into every swelling kiss
our palms meet and take hold, neither one not wanting to let go
with nothing but candles burning,
our naked shadows exposed on the wall
we shared every inch of each other,
with a serpent tongue I roamed
I knew her before the night was new ...

Enriched by her delicate beauty, the simpleness of her love
she rests upon me, her breath so long
her intense wetness, scorching my love as she moves
the grinding of pelvis to pelvis, so deep so new so raw
releasing with pleasure with a deluge of sweet nectar
in only in a dream, she healed my very soul ...

This was a contest for .. I had to write in the gender of a woman...

Your prompt is "Romance with a twist" I would like you to show me true romance, I want you to show me how you would romance someone, what would you do to show your love, and make your date feel special. I want to see the power of love and to feel it.

TWIST! you have to write from the opposite persona, so if you are female, you have to write it from a male persona and vice versa. I don't mind how far you take this prompt, but mark it appropriately ie adult or erotica if your muse takes you that far.
It must have been the stars
must have been the night
must have been the kisses
that struck her right ...

The tingles from her head
down to her toes...the first talk
butterflies churning, palms wet
breath hot, seeking forth ...

Running into his arms
never letting go, seeking passion
in their steamy room with deep
sounding voice, he touches her lips ....

Whispers in her ears, excitement comes
again ... rush of electric rushes through
their beings, she leans into him, lust
has arrived he peers deep into her eyes ...

Come to me my love, let this be the night
let it release and let me call you mine
he brushes the side of her face
As He calls her baby ...

Your never hear the love of a woman
or the sound of her lonely voice
until he magically appears
and whispers in her ear ...

"Red Roses I will give and you will adore with the simple touch of my hand"

She will never share her heart, unless he is the perfect one
then red roses suddenly appear for their perfect love
and when he entered her glowing soul, his smile she would never perceive to lose ...

She's your lost fantasy , she will move your heart
but when he gives her that red rose, she will never part
out of passionate compassion, she will follow him
and make her home with his, if he will only have her this night ...

From the burning of their guts, with the touch of fingers sliding
she whispers notes of love yous, streaming from her mouth,
surged with swelling of the sprinted nurse heart
he heals her heart with love, the notes of their bodies, a longing
a wanting, a perfect song of red roses, sprinkled all around
their lives ...

Standing at the road of life

This world had to offer

The world to me

As I surrender to his poetic words

That was held close to my heart

No more nightmares

I beg the night

As he tied off my soul with heartstrings

At last He was there....

Singing my lonely songs

Holding my heart

So close, he stood

At last

The skies above were new....

My heart was there waiting for the dream

Yet words were so inferior

To see the one of mine

Love

Dreams

Today

Maybe we are supposed to be.....

Be mine and only mine

At last

He Is Mine

She lies in her bed, listening to the morning sounds
O the morning sun rose so elegantly
As her feet hit the floor
Her head is pounding from the nights lights
Wondering how she got home....

Trying to drink her sorrow away
One more drink did her in
The portal that penetrates her thoughts ...

Was a man of means she dreamed
A man of distinction so fine.....

Her secret desires and fantasies
Flows through her mind
Flashes of wanting all of him ...

Breathless as she romances
Brings to mind but is clouded too....

Trying to remember what was said
What did she do, as she tried to peek
Into her world the night before ...

As she caught her breath she looks
Sitting in a chair in the corner of the room....

Dear Sir, I am here and where are you
Is the question that comes to mind
She was awaken with thoughts of her own ...

Hoping and praying she could have him
Alone again....

Walking through the house
Her fingers on the blinds
The loneliness as thick as a mouse
As she holds her breath
Her haunting desire, walks up the walk....

She stood at the window as he comes through the door
Her heart beating widely as he approaches with a grin so wide
His look, she knew that love was in the air,
Her heart, her haunting desire
Kissed and took her breath away...

She could feel his touch placing on her face
Outlining each and every tear drop that fell so freely
He picks her up to love the day away
As her clothes fall by the wayside
She turns to look, he is her haunting desire....

"It's coming on the end of August,
Another Summer's promise almost gone.
And I heard some wise man say,
That every dog should have his day.
He never mentioned that these dog days get so long."

It was the end of summer, long long hot days maybe they would start fading, maybe the beach had something else in mind.

It had started out as a nice day.

Katlin's beauty was very noticeable, everyone that came in contact with her, felt drawn to her not only by her beauty but her persona, she loved people and people loved her. Her long blond hair flowed perfect around her shoulders, deep golden blue eyes made all men stop in their tracks. Although she had such beauty she had only one man in mind, and he called her princess.

Katlin saw the weather report it looked like bad weather was coming. She waited most of the day waiting and waiting for her love to get back.
And then....
The stars were blinking as she walked by
The landscape was loyal to her
Down in South Padre’s Island
Where they built their life of long ago...

In a way Dean, was glad of the surprised meeting he had with Katlin. Never expecting such a beauty would look at him and thanked his stars that she did. Their meeting per chance…him  looking at houses on the Island, she the realtor.  After dating for a while, he wished to move in with her, if she would only let him, her husband having passed away six months earlier.

Katlin was watching the weather report she realized they were going to have a bad storm . It was coming their way.
Startled by its ferocity, getting scared, she realized she couldn’t wait any longer. She started throwing things into the car keeping an eye, looking out for Dean.
It had been so long! Knowing if she lost him now she realized that it would break her heart.
The billowing wind was whistling past the palm trees, she had to hurry.
Walking on to their boat’s deck, she looked at the ocean and she couldn’t believe what she saw.
People were out surfing.
What was wrong with these people? With an urge welling in her to walk, she didn't want to get in that car. Maybe if she did walk Dean would be back soon… So walk she did
A new life was waiting for her
If only she would inhale
The tides of her life
A drug of a memory haunted her
Mirrored in pirouette
On South Padre Island
She was a Princess in His eyes
But everything felt strange

The wind was picking up, blowing the trees.
She was downright scared
As the sand hit the air it was thick with surf, she could feel it against her skin this cool evening. She knew she had to find her way back home. She knew that the wind now turning into a hurricane was headed her way. She had to get off this island. She wondered why she stayed so long on the beach.
As she was running, trying to find shelter she ran by the bathrooms near the beach… Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed her and pulled her inside. She gasped and was shocked when she  came face to face with a strange man. In fact, he scared her. She realized the man was around her age and the wind had weathered him. A closer look, his appearance was actually pleasing. His sandy blond hair and green eyes were piercing.
Though she felt uncomfortable, but couldn't take her eyes off of him.
Gasping still, he dropped his hands from her body and looked into her eyes.
"I hope you are alright, and please don't be scared." He told her in a gentle voice.
His voice was reassuring, calming her tattered nerves.
"I am fine but scared, we need to get to a better shelter, the hurricane is coming and we are not safe." Mustering courage, she did not have time for tears.
Katlin tried looking down the beach from the bathroom shelter, hoping to see Dave, knowing well that he was somewhere else safe.
She wondered where he could be. Why didn't he come, get her, so they could have left? She tried his cell phone, no answer. What was going on?
She turned around and saw the stranger staring at her. "Sorry I thought I would be able to get my phone to work. But it is no use."
The wind sounded like a banshee, the waves getting bigger, water splashing into the bathroom. Wanting to step out, the hands held her firmly by the arm.
"Where are you going? You do not have a chance out there." He yelled at her.
She yelled back, "We do not have a chance in here."
He wouldn't let go of her and pressed his body against hers… and then they were on the floor with his body on hers. When the water started getting deeper, he pulled her against the wall out of the water. She felt they didn't have a chance.
She realized his hands were not where they were supposed to be. She didn't hear the wind anymore and she didn't feel the water rising. All she felt was his hands and the look in his eyes. Was she going to die in this man's arms? A man she had no idea who he was?
It felt like hours, but his lips tasted so good and she was so scared and for some reason she felt safe. She wanted him, and she knew she wanted her.
For a moment, he stopped what he was doing and looked in her eyes and whispered in her ear, "I am sorry, but I need you, may I have you this last hour of our life?"
She couldn't help herself, if she lived another hour, she knew she wanted this man too. She nodded yes and whispered I want you too.
As the water rose so did their temperatures,  the heat between them becoming intense. Her mind going blank, as his hands explored her body. It was at that moment both knew they had reached where only they could, with spasms of desire flowing between them...
The heat brought them to another level, when the wind stopped, they stopped, looking at each other.
Total silence…the eye of the storm.
He stepped back and looked at her and murmured "I am so sorry, I feel like I was ****** you and that is not who I am."
Katlin gasped and let out a cry and started running. Ran out of the bathroom and ran some more.
Then she remembered her love once more.
Where was her love? She had a nasty feeling. She found her car. Nearly in tears, as she started driving away trying to get off the island and looking for Dean's Jeep at the same time.
Driving from one end of the island to the other in bumper to bumper traffic, her hands were shaking, the winds were picking up again, whipping everything. She saw things flying and she was scared.
She decided to get off the main road and drive towards the beach once again when she saw a jeep turned upside down. Nearly freezing with fear, pulled off the side of the road and ran to see who it was. It was raining again, raining so hard the wind was worse than ever. It kept pushing her back and sideways, finally after it seemed like an eternity she reached the jeep and saw Dean  upside down and he was bleeding.
Katlin screamed Dean's name. She tried pulling him out but could not budge him. Then before she knew it, there were other people there working trying to get him out. Then next, waves were crashing and the wind so violent…she was pushed with her head hitting the car fender. As she blacked out she remembered her love.
Death Was Here....
The Death that was coming was going to be no more.
The pain would be gone
This day
You must let go
Of all the things you
Own
You cannot hold fast
For the colors fade
And light is gone
The world
Itself
Will spin
And there will be another day
But this day is gone
Lives would be gone this day!

Dean was gone. With time elapsing, Katlin tried to forget that frightening day, the howling wind and the rain, but what she couldn't forget was the man she met for brief moments, in the bathroom, those moments that would haunt her.
Sitting at Dave’s graveside, Katlin felt someone staring. As she looked, in the distance under the yew tree saw the shadow of a man. The man she knew only briefly, a man she wanted to know more of. Had he saved her life?
Then he was gone...

Her palms on the shower wall
steam in the air, hot water covering
her tears, choking back, head bent down
body tense, from the shocking affair ...

The affliction of her heart
cries in distress,
of a lost soul bound ...

The anger builds as she screams
to relieve the hurt, agonizing pain
yet no one hears ...

Alone and isolated in silence,
alienated as one soul
she's breathless as panic evolves
through the horror of her fears ...

Wounded by words that were spoken
she falls deep in her black hole ...

Her escape ...

Miles apart
a new beginning,
of what could be
she fantasizes of him
a star, a knight of white
her desire to be loved,
She wants to cry for her feelings
the soulless of her grave,
tortured, unloved
once again ...

Her palms on the shower wall ...

A beautiful butterfly you were
as all watched you from a far
standing by scented embers
with drug impaired eyes,
following by sips of red wine
at that given moment
you looked unsure of yourself
but all were so happy to offer their help...

Your tight hip-hugger pants
slid over your form
not a thing was wrong
could anyone see
oh how I wish I was you
on that rainy day..

Then one day, as years went by
you seemed so lost as I spied you far away
your hair seemed disheveled
your tears ran down lined pale face
the air didn't change as you floated around
like it did many moons before
my heart went to you
as I saw all the distressed...

Dear sister what happened?
did you fall on ill health
did your love fall by the wayside
did it break your heart?

The shadow is closing
a touch of loss still spoke
you murmured so softly
that not many days were
left to live much less pray....

This is for all us butterflies and our best friends in high school.. when we wanted to be them, and then years later when we see them they look so hard and afraid from all the drugs and hurt they had been through.
She hears the heavy tread of his shoes,
carrying the weight of his mighty
shoulders,
is her sad and trodden Solitary Man~

Hurt by life’s emotions
she has traveled so far
found love once -
with this Solitary man~

One more journey
to seek his vision
and love
she looks for her
Solitary man~

But she knows the answers
already given to her lonely heart
as she travels his roads
her heart looks for him
to return to her arms
her Solitary man~

it is only a matter of time
till her solitary man
finds his way
to her bleeding heart
crushed at the sight
of Her Lonely Solitary Man~

Is it to late?
the love that once has been
is now down a lonely path
trodden with tears
to her Soliatry Man~
