Another year, now older
Am I wiser?
Perhaps, but surely bolder
What can I say
I feel more or less the same

The years float by, entrancing
But each no more enhancing
The reflection has no change
Yet my vision has less range
The wrinkles aren't yet there
And the grey has not attacked my hair
But somehow I feel aged
In my own mind encaged
I don't mind the sound of my years
For some it brings them to solemn tears
I find it sort of soothing
As evidence that life is moving

The time is comes and goes
When it will end, no one knows
But for now on earth it snows
And the howling wind still blows

One choice is all it takes...
to make or ruin our lives,
and apart from grace,
it's hard for one's soul to survive
theft, death, or ****,
or other reasons that make it hard to rationalize, or mediate -
many minds destroyed by disturbing disasters that devastate
us,
distorting truth, love, and hate,
sometimes they break our beings;
We can't contemplate these feelings.
Is this our fate?
For some, it unfortunately becomes fatal.
For others, there's a faith that saves,
making a way when we're unable,
to move.
Regardless of one's belief or views,
lets look back at what's being presented before you on the table:

One choice is all it takes...

As the suspect or victim,
we pick our choices and choose how to deal with our given circumstances,
to include the circumstances we didn't choose to be in, or begin with, in the first place.
Even when things happen outside of our control
We control our choices and responses,
as everything unfolds,
and for some choices, come consequence -
the thing we say someone's gotta own
up to, and rightfully so...
So may we have an awareness of ourselves
and arch attention or focus to
making better choices, because
One choice is all it takes...
[be intentional]

"You can't take back what you've already done or been through, but you can choose how to deal with it, and you can make choices for the betterment of the circumstance, of yourself, and of others... choose wisely, and know that we're created for good works..." - Desire R.

I know of love by the things I didn't do,
And I know your body by the cloth that's on you.
I know the truth and I know it my way,
So don't light my fire, it will lead you astray.

Dive in the water if it's not from my sea,
Dive in it deeper so you don't drown with me.
Dive in the water and swim in it alone,
For all the bubbles at my surface are gone.

And all the sirens sang "Amen".
And all the people sang again.

I know of love by the names on the stem,
And I know of freedom by the trees under them.
I know of truth and I believe she's strong,
So don't light my fire if you can't burn along.

Nobody stays unless they lose their mind,
After the heartquakes, what is it that I'll find ?
You can walk on my earth but walk on it alone,
For each step that you take will be crushing my bones.

It's not a fear if it can't do us harm,
We're not the victims as there's life in our arms,
It ain't a crime if there's no bleeding hand,
It's not a victory if we die at the end.

And all the lovers sang "Amen",
And all the people sang again.

At home mum had the last say,
All members of the family looked up to her everyday,
Times have changed,
She passed away, wise and aged.
Before she went,
Her last advice to me she sent,
Dear, you too have a large family,
And if you want peace and be happy,
Keep your eyes open,
Your ears open,
Listen,
But your mouth shut,
Let the problems sort themselves out.
Let you be their Godess Statue,
Wise and astute.
An elderly person at home is for advise.Young people nowadays hate interference.

Whisky I love,
It gives me that feeling
Of being old and wise.

The cigar I
Puff,
Makes me feel
Happy, calm and in control.

I wouldn't call it unhealthy
If you do it now and then
And if it makes you happy.
Sometimes I like to drink my whisky and smoke a little good cigar... and I hate it when people say It's bad for me! Look at churchill, he lived a long life.

Your vision was the blend of cultures,
welcoming them onto the progressing lands
as if it was there own.
Your passion of justice extinguished every fire
and your endless kindness
diminished hunger of the starving
and quenched those thirsty.
Your heart was vast
and character so true and principled
that hoped to strengthen and empower the youth
to achieve its best
so your essence carries on
for you have risen to great heights
and news of you have spread.

The wind speaks to me at night
It cascades and whistles in mid flight
I see in it the wonder
And destruction like the thunder
It tells me of the clouds
And how they love to clump in crowds
Perhaps the wind will save us
With it's mighty and powerful gust
I wish to ask it questions
And to express my confessions
The howling shrieks seems mournful
Like those of a mere mortal
I suppose nothing is free from pain
Even nature is bound by chain
How I long to ask the wind
Why it's voice must rescind
For days at a time it will not visit
My window pane forgets its kisses
As I forget its touch on my skin
I wonder where my wind has been

If we forgo pursuing truth
Then we allow ourselves to die
I’ve done so long ago
When complacent with her lie
With the word of a woman
Who carries death in her sight
Unfit to reject her own skill
For she brings with it slight delight
Both soldier and weapon
Difference had died with her
The daughter of hopes rejoice
Now walks as a hopeful killer
Burdened are the knowing
For fitting words had rung
And she knew of what escaped
Beneath her velvet tongue

I always said almost loving you was the kindest thing I ever did.
We never use to cuddle you hated it, we use to sit with my window open cause you broke my fan but it didn’t matter, we’d fall over eachothers sentences, you’d stand beside me whenever I sat, I think it made you feel wiser, to be so much bigger then me,
To look down to me, I never minded it though, cause every so often when we would lie down you would hold me, grip my hand and play with my ring.
you never told me why and I remember pouting about it,
I remember us sitting together but never to close
It was almost love, and almost loving you was the kindest thing I’ve ever done,
I hope almost loving me was the kindest thing you’ve ever done also

I  stand tall,
Contorted,
But beautiful,
My shape weird,
But wise as an owl.
My limbs outstreched,
My roots deep,
I embrace the sky and the earth,
I have weathered many seasons,
For many reasons,
SPRING is my rebirth,
I bloom and bring  colour,
SUMMER I  am evergreen,
Give shade from the fiery sun,
AUTUMN I am dressed in a colourful gown,
Of gold, green, purple and brown,
Soon my leaves fall,
Dry and under people's feet they crackle.
WINTER I stand naked,
Snowflakes come to my aid,
They veil me from tip to toe,
A blanket of snow.
I am one of the ecosystem,
Life on earth with me rhyme and rhythm.
