Breathe
In
Out
Again

You’re safe
You’re warm
You’re home again

You’re safe and sound
You’re still around
Your soul is found

Bent low on the ground
Your face became shroud
But the water
Her water
His water
Their water
It loved you
It cleaned you
It sailed you home

The clearest water you’ve ever seen
The perfect temperature so keen
Your thirst is gone

The familiar man in the distance
Clad in Red
You’ve escaped his vengeance
His game is dead
Dead by the wondrous sword

You stare at him
He stares back so glim
Then he bows
Accepting your win
Then he’s gone
Gone forever
Happy endeavors
The Vacancy Saga continues with one final confrontation against the antagonist...

Don’t cry for me, dear
Save your crystal tears
For now we celebrate
Smile
And cheer

Her flowers fall
Her wind is my song
Her rain is graceful
So rest
And be strong

His task is done
His sword has been run
His muscles sore now
Relax
Adjust

For deep in the white
Someday I shall be
Glass oceans calling me
Wait
And see

Deep in the white
Forever we’re free
We’ll sing together
So
Don’t you leave me
Deep in the white, forever we're free

And so we go.
Travelers two
Upon a long slick road,
Salted for safety.
The moon in the lagoon laughs at us,
Laughs with us.
Such a sweet giggle.
A laugh not heard before,
Too innocent to ignore.
It’s victorious.
Because the sword has won,
And the monster is done.
The scenery fits,
Melting away revealing a new day,
Unveiling miles upon miles of decadence.
Yes.
This, my sweet, is how we know,
We are finally going home.
We are finally going home

Success can be a double edged sword.
You worked hard, are at the top
and yet, people hate you.
Why can't we enjoy
success without
the need of
envy?
Haters will hate. But the people of the past will work harder to destroy you.
I wish people would push others, not tear people down.
There's room for everyone, right? Or is it just me being naive?
Just wishful thinking?
I don't know.
Be back soon.

As far as I remember
You came in a dream
Washing your blonde hair
Causing quite a scene.

No words left to swallow
No swords left to fall on
I thought you looked nice
But what the hell do I know right.

Cold september evening
Under friday night lights.
A family affair
A quiet kiss goodnight.

A bullet through my stomach
Coming through my spine.
Feeling dead as air.
Feeling cold as ice.

Never learnt my lesson
Not sure what it was
What I was supposed to learn
What I should overcome.

Anytime I’m anywhere
I always see the same
Pictures on the wall.
Things I gotta take

And I’d beg for your forgiveness
If I was certain I was wrong.
But somewhere in these pages
Is my secret siren song

All that I have
Is all that I shared
I pray someday you hear this
I pray someday you care

I know it can’t be me
I think I understand
How I could love a girl
And how she could **** a man.
coming soon

Give me a sword,
And I’ll slay the world.
The dragon I’ve known,
My friend so old.
A star watches the fight.
It sees,
It shines,
It cries.
Then the warm whispering wind...
She sweetly flows in.
Her warrior fierce,
Her warrior pierced.
With the arrows of the world in
His soul...
In my soul...
In our soul...
Though the world fights back,
And the world fights hard,
I have my sword
And the wind and stars.
The world is mine tonight. It will tremble before me as though I'm about to bisect it with a mighty sword.

We all need to find the will
to slay the green-eyed dragon,
who is deluded by the idea
of keeping that sweet song
for his ears alone.

Selfish in not wanting
to share the flame
of love.
Be wary about the ones who are jealous of you.
Their potential to harm is dangerously high.
They'll always be eager to take you down.

Be back soon

i never expected any of this to happen
but here we are
winter has begun
and now you shine as my own little sun

so remember to breathe,
when you get back i'll still be here.
when you're there hold the watch to your heart
chest filled
eyes closed
steady
                                                                                                       steady
steady
im here
and there
for you

your monsters hide in the darkest corners of the mind
but remember that the pen is mightier than the sword.
and with every word you write
every one of my words you read
those monsters get slain day by day
so listen to me as i say and say
again
i love you.
even when you can't love yourself
so that one day you might learn how to.
Singly among the sand castles
No one noticed until he was there
Above him or in his path

We had built him like children
Build sand castles
We carved and patted him from moist earth
He was soft, yet rigid as he lay there
His gaze was skyward and uncertain..

We left him there to see what people do
And walked a distance to the dunes
We watched him among people
For he was one now.

They came. Families, elderly couples
And children too and stopped
To admire and express delight
At this sand man's sculptured form.

We felt happiness at the pleasure be brought
He made them stop a moment to feel their surroundings
And recognize his contented solitude.

Teenage boys came to jeer and leer.
One of them looked around as if in secrecy
And plunged a driftwood stick at the sandman's groin
Then quickly ran away laughing at his tale.

The stick protruded  boldly
Our sand man's hands were at his sides
He felt no ruler of the sands
Only a gentle soul made of mockery.

A girl and her brother approached
After we had removed the offence.
The young boy was waving his 'mighty sword'
(Some stick which had washed ashore)

At first, with his sister in charge
They stopped to admire
But then she walked away,
Turned her back to venture on.

"Hello", he said to the sandman
As if to acknowledge someone there.
Then with his 'mighty sword' he pierced
Into the sandman's groin and
Ripped up to his chest
Then swung his 'sword' and
Cut the sand man's throat...

Why? Why! we cried in mind
As the young boy ran away
Murderer! we yelled in our hearts

IWe hurt for man
We sat stunned at this violence
This desecration of a soul.

We couldn't just leave him there
Blameless, yet aware
So we buried the sand man and prayed
Dust to dust, sand to sand

Sand he may have been
But soul he was for us.

I write to clear my head.
I write the sad thoughts I think in bed.

I try to release my feelings on paper, using ink, wielding a pen as a sword,
To slash the pain I feel inside with every word.

I use it as a shield against the raging attack of depression.
It takes a lot to make even that small confession.

The ache in my head recedes as if the ink is on the small table pen is taking the pain out of my fingertips, flowing on to paper, that I use as a shield.
I look at the paper, that holds the words I use to protect myself against the evil that is pain, I smile at my new poem to wield.
