The sunlight filtered
through feathers splayed
hits different when
the wing is stayed

How do you come to accept
What you thought was the sun
Was really just a distant flame?
The warmth you felt
The light you saw
Wasn't real
Had you even felt warmth to begin with?
Seen light to come to such a conclusion?

I'd always used to prance in that light
Waltz and lay in its warmth
But when I realised it wasn't what I wanted
It wouldn't satisfy me like it used to

What is it like to stand in the sun's rays?
Have it pierce the deepest core of your heart?
Would the world around you need to change?
Or would you need to be out of it...

Floating, sinking
Reaching, receding
Closing my eyes
Wishing for
The warmth of the Sun
To reach the depths of my heart and
Emit a glow from within
HelloPoetry phone version compacts verses into more than one row but I feel as though I don't want to be limited by that anymore when I write, so here this is
Rivers flowed from my eyes
Into the seed within my heart
I nourish the seed with the well of love
right now I am in a drought
I long to soak in water through my soil
I long to spread my roots through this dry soft land
I long to sow truth
this is my intent
I long to rise up and bloom
I long to open my petals and taste the sunlight
I yearn to bask in the warmth of your rays of love
until we meet again I sleep and dream of you beneath my petals

i hate the way i love you.

i hate the way you smile,
i hate the way you laugh.

i hate how i know you have a dimple,
there, right there, on the side of your cheek.

i hate how you are like sunlight hitting a shimmering puddle,
as if you had the power to lift clouds and calm storms.

you don't have that power.

I wanted to see everything,
as clearly as the sun does.
But once I did,
They could not look at me in the eyes.

Sunlight makes
the leaves
the greenest
they can be!

sunlight captures me
wrapping me in the morning
sleepy happiness
These are burning clouds, silence reigns
Crowds with tranquil desires
Sky smells clove-pink of death.
Graveyard’s calling us.

She is the pony, a lone walker
Mystery lasts before dawn.
Sunlight was touching her neck hair
Moonlight wanted her to be its own,

Strolling in the wild orange meadow,
Walking on the grounds of heaven
Watching sunset on the line,
Wiggled a giant glass of wine

From the depth of lambent verdure
Whispered singing can be heard,
And these invisible stars of eternal life
Only shine at a paradise land.

Bing ban Bing boo, an eternal door opens to her,
Here is the happiness land, starry sky.
There hides a kiss, it’s the final kiss…
Bing ban Bing boo, time to her go back home,
Graveyard ‘s calling her,
And she rests in peace, an ancient stone
Sunset leads to anther sunrise, are we ready to a Farewell Walk

The Sun lets its rays circle around us
It’s golden light touches us every day.
We take one breath and feel the emptiness as it courses through our lungs
Existing as just wisps of our pain.
The Sun never stops shining
Yet one day we will stop breathing.
It cannot revive the silent beat of our heart
Or bring back the red flush of our cheeks.
We become one less person to share the glow of the sun
Our eyes stare unyielding into the brightest light,
Seeing nothing.
Now I am in the wind whistling through the trees.
I am in the golden and purple streak of the sky
When the Sun opens its eyes.
You will see me reborn in the bloom of a young rose,
Beauty reflecting in my innocence.
I have no body; I am only my soul.
I am whole for within me is nothing but what God created.
I am exposed to you within death
For I am stripped of the flesh that gave me life.
