car window moonlight,
familiar music plays through
crackling speakers,
serenading us.

muttered confession,
I pretend I do not hear
and will say I have forgotten
but I might never.

fearless actions,
stunning your audience,
I do not applaud
but I crave an encore.

quiet drive home
on deserted roads.
we panic at midnight,
then laugh at dawn.

Tonight I am lonely
Tonight I am opening and closing
And opening and closing
Every way I talk to people
Every app and site
Every link I have to connection
But still,
I say nothing
Considering all the words at my finger tips
Not ones that will be enjoyed by others
My company only an encroachment
Onto someone else’s peaceful evening
So I close
And open
My door to the outside
But still stay in
And stay lonely

Cigarettes at midnight
Tattered hoodies under the moonlight
These are just two more things
That remind me of loving you-

I can see the whole world around me burn down slowly flood lights flowing who's that calling?

She's coming in as she is a force of nature some scorching vapor burn down slowly the world is paper.

Doing business with the native Village full on Savage sun is falling full of Ashes.

See the storms they crawl across the Horizons backside I seen them last night Monsoon high tide.

The way she's moving is awfully crafty looking at me see her eyes now full on dry spell.

See her burn across the daytime Blue Sky sight seen bird's-eye last try midnight.

Fall into a bottomless void now soundless crying bodies flailing Scorch them slowly.

Drowning deep beneath the ash clouds song now fastlane hightail driving snail's pace.

We drag our bodies across the daily grind stone burning scrapes hurt long-lost neighbors.

I seen her eyes among the fleeting vapors funeral pile burn down slowly the world's on fire.

Past one in the morning
Talking about our dreams
About how we wanted to go on a trip
Midnight driving with the windows down
Feeling the cold air hitting our skins
Loud music blasting from the stereo
Us enjoying our youth
As we go to unfamiliar places
Wandering and getting lost
Forgetting our sorrows
And experience never ending gaeity
Looking up to the stars
Wishing for this friendship to last forever
Or maybe just a lifetime
Cherishing the moments
Before it turns into memories
Memories that will tattoed on our souls
The dreams we've talked about
I badly want it to happen
Us four, on a spectacular road trip
Living our best lives.
To live or to die?

I met my love on a cloudless night,
Her face held features plain and pale,
Yet there was something to her glow
That held my attention in full;
I could not escape her radiance
And felt at once the world shift:
Her gaze could move the tides,
Yet she choose instead to drive me mad;
She left for her home to the west
As the rising sun cut short our time,
Will I ever see her again? Perhaps
If I return periodically, so will she.
Trying some freestyle. May be in parts. This is what I've got so far

Like a mother knows her child,
Like a reader knows his books
I knew you inside out despite all the shields that you put.
I knew what made you laugh,
I knew what made you cry
I knew what you wanted at 3 at night
I knew that your mind was part *******, part church,
the poles hidden behind swanky curtains that were a little out of touch.
I knew what it was like to be with you at noon and night
I knew everything about you, could’ve told you apart
with a blindfold on, in room that was dark.

Behind all the light, it was a little gloomy,
behind all the happiness , there was some fear.
I guess that’s where I felt short in knowing you, my dear.
For all the claims I make about knowing you in every way
I never could’ve predicted the way we fell and frayed.
Now we pass each other in the street and look away
as if we weren’t there for each other at noon and night every day.

The world will be a much better place if we start acknowledging that everybody is different and respecting the differences rather than pretending that we all are the same.
