This place knows me
even better than I know who is me,
From my best moments
to the one that had gone far worse
It has seen it all
I never needed to tell

While I care about it
this place brings along its chill
All windows open
crowded ever by everyone
the feeling all spills
all are so free here to the feels.

"What Is?"

truth, is a pacifier,
comforting and calming.

truth, is something
to hang on to, giving
a false sense of control.

truth, is an individual
and temporary construct,
of murky human thought.

Truth, is known
only to God,
if God exists.

I Should Have Known

You blazed so bright
Like the midnight moon does in the quiet clear autumn skies
In excruciating despair I looked up to you
You were the only light that could see me through
I found you when all you knew was darkness
I should have known
When one easy fog cloud slid beneath you
You would dance a storm
Realizing you were blinded from me
As if never enough
When the morning eastern sun rose
You would selfishly and yet so proudly
Give up your light on me

Your feel so soft and tender
Silk of finest quality could not compare
In every move you made
You were tamed around me
Like the Morning Glory flower is
To that northern backyard pole
I held you while you were a pupa
I should have known
When the universe favoured you
You would metamorphose to a pretty butterfly
And when the spring came,
You would fly so easily and yet so proudly
Into the colouring up distance
Where your pretty wings "really belonged"

Your inside so colorful
Like the sight of an exotic summer flower garden
Through every word you breathed
Scents of the most sacred fragrance blazed
I had you in right season
I should have known
When the winter snow came
All would wear out, dry out
And be blown away
Like easy particles of dust

the thing about us is
we're on the verge of something
something beautiful? maybe
something disastrous? maybe

the thing about us is
it wasn't always like this
how could i have known
the day you told me your name
that someday i would always remember it?

and you were there
you were there when i cried
you were there when i laughed
you were there when i had all the stories
so i am not used to you being absent

and i was there
when everything was unfair
when the world seemed to hate you
when there was nowhere left to run

and in the way that things are
it all got messed up
the very day i stared at my ceiling
and i knew that it was you

and the thing is
it rarely ever works out the way we want it to
it rarely ever gives us the chance

but if i was allowed
if circumstances were different
i would have found you again
and i would have told you every word
and i would have drawn every line for you

but the thing is
i will stay where i am right now
i know where i stand
and it is not by your side
holding your hand
I see a lot of things people miss,
and am a lot of things;
those people don't see.

...even though sometimes
I want them to.

Words can be described,
But when they’re felt, they become magic.
If I felt sunshine, would it be magic
Or have I just described another word without knowing?
This poem reflects on the balance between understanding and feeling. Words can describe so much, but their real power comes when they evoke emotion—when they feel like magic. I used “sunshine” as an example to question whether the experience of something so simple is inherently magical, or if it’s just another word we assign meaning to without fully grasping its essence.

It’s a reflection on how language often falls short in capturing the depth of human emotion, leaving us to wonder if true meaning lies in the words we use or in the feelings they inspire.

The real question is not
“What will they do for me, once and when?”
But throughout the years
Throughout the struggle and the turmoil
Which is this human existence

I ask of you

“What instead have you been doing for them?”
To prepare yourself for this honest moment
In order to give something back
Instead of just having hallow words
To send and rescind

What then will you do?
When you finally understand?
And stand alongside this
The deepest realization known to man

In my mind it's this. To realize that love... Is not about you. It's not about your fleeting feelings (which may wither and fade). But it's all about the choice, and the realization of what you can do for them. But there are always more questions even after this...

A tiger never has fear
Its roar is one of power
Its path you must clear
Or else you, it shall devour
My own fear, I want to control
I want to have a tiger's soul

A tiger always has courage
To take on any challenge
No matter the disadvantage
It will find a way to manage
With this, I could achieve any goal
I want to have a tiger's soul

A tiger is always known
It's a predator respected
Reputation fully grown
In it's roar, pride reflected
Never again hiding as a mole
I want to have a tiger's soul

A tiger is what I want to be
Someone I can be proud of
But really I need to be free
Who I am, I need to love
I will to become the tiger
Passion burning, soul on fire

i have thrived on uncertainty
taught myself to fear the known
so whenever i am confident
i am often at my lowest
and when i'm wallowing
i'm closest to the sky

it is not the life
i recommend you live
hold tight to your beliefs, little dove
because once they are lost,
you'll find yourself undone

i was once seven years-old
i had never felt so tall
and now that i am older
i feel closet to the fall
because what i had found
someday i must have lost
and now that it is gone
it is like

it was never here at all

I fell in the river
Of your tears
As I wasn't looking
Just for a little while
As I'm standing here,
I should have known.
