Mother nature is crying out
The ground is barren and cracked open like a festering wound
Too much innocent blood has been spilled by both beast and man
By our so called human race
Who has proven to be quite inhuman
We have filled your beautiful skies with pollution
Devastated the ground we walk on with explosives
Cut down the very trees that give us oxygen
While creatures both big and small are disappearing
The same way Love and brotherhood is becoming extinct
And animosity is available in abundance
As greed and the lust for money lingers on
We simply turn a blind eye
Therefore mother nature herself is retaliating against us
Revolted by our actions
We capture creatures from the sky and sea
And put them on display like puppets
Then charge mankind a fee to see
We have dug our own hole and made our own bed
For we have stripped mother nature of her beauty and crown
While radiation is all around
We hope to sleep safe and sound
Until one day a bell will ring and signal the end to this mess we're in
Then we will shout 'God forgive us for the fools we've been'

Climbed down from the pedestal,

Because I realized nobody wants to be up here-

Worked so hard for it....

But then again nobody knows what they sign up for.

My white gown is stained-

How could anyone do such a thing?

I guess nobody remembers the values of accusation
Because nobody was charged...

Sitting on the ground-
Warm like the memories I instill in this town;
I'll eat the fruits to remember what it all tasted like.
A taste of my own medicine.

It's kind of ironic how one thing can be taken for another

Maybe the pedestal after all was a pit of thorns..

Luckily I didn't stay long enough to get cut..

At the same time, the ground here is giving me a bruise!

I'll have to tell someone that one day.
Maybe being at the top isn't always the best view for the mind.. Maybe being grounded is what we all need.

Mass is not proportional to volume

A girl as small as a violet
A girl who moves like a flower’s petal
She attracts me with a force greater than her mass
Now, I
am like Newton’s apple
Rolled and fell toward her unstoppably
With a thump, a thump

My heart
Keeps bouncing between the sky and the ground
It was my first love.
Ps. This is written by a Korean Poet named Kim In-yook. I knew the poem because of the Korean Drama titled "Goblin" or "The Goblin's Bride" it was a hit Drama in Asia. So if you are curious of what the drama is, just watch it. Thank you.
PPS. I just posted this here to share it to you. and Again, Kamsahamnida! :) ♥

What happened?
To that fragile moment we held tight in our heats?
Red glorious ribbons of Fate.
The quiet comfort of long nights
Pulled apart, worn by age,
In which we talked.
They lie dirtied on the ground.
Till Dawn whispered to the stars,
As they left, her tears washed it all away.
I forget where the idea of red ribbons came from, but I enjoy the idea of people being romantically linked by them. But when it falls apart that's where the imagery can really come alive in a way.

i can
put words into
lines

and lines into
stanzas delicately
arranged on the
ground--
verses of my
design;

but what
words,
lines,
and stanzas
must i
string together
to make you

mine?
for some reason i can't put up poems ??? i have so much stored already :^(

Perhaps, sometimes,
I wonder at your indecision.
A little bright leaf.
Refusing to touch the ground.
But there’s very little wrong with the ground.
And in touching it,
Something astounding might begin to flower.
Written about a friend who was almost a whirlwind incarnate lol, always doing something.

Lie with me
on this ancient
ground and keep
me warm with
your lies about
a better tomorrow
where sorrows
die with the
remnants of my
common sense

Your hands were tired
of holding me together,
holding me to ground,
keeping me safe from myself
and my fate.
And when you were no longer there
I could go anywhere in the world,
live different lives,
and see the world anew.
Wait for the death
of my sorrow.
Or **** myself with what I am.
All this I have found
at the cost of
losing earth, me, and you,
to name a few.

I did more than simply fall
into the ground of your love
