You are perfect
And smoothly charming
Your unbelievable patience
Is soft and disarming

Incredible is what you are
A miracle no doubt
Understanding angel
Pure inside and out

Lovely in every way
Amazing since birth
You are my wonderful bliss
My heaven on Earth
A super old one that i fixed up, its pretty much new now haha. There were only a few usable parts.
To the lad who held my hand amidst that blazing summer
Yes, it's you who slumbered on my shoulder
While we're in the swing nigh the day care center

We're in bliss or so I thought
For after that period
You became someone recently bought

I felt horror the moment you let our memories go
In the breezing emptiness I am alone
And as I face my ruin and downfall
It's a shame I didn't know
You're writing new chapters with your girl.

Indeed, t'was only a wishful thinking
That I too, will have my own happy ending.

I found happy,
He's nice,
and kind,
his eyes are the ocean,
and his mind is the universe.
I found happy.
I love his smile,
and his laugh,
but his jokes are by far the best.
I found Happy.

~A Little Girl
Lakshmi Mar 2018
She lies in her bed, crawled up in a ball,
shouting, screaming, internally going through it all;
He stands in the garden, looking up at the stars,
thinking about his grandmother, up there, oh so far;
Another girl lays there, on the road, after her ****,
not wanting to move, scared of every shape;
The six year old watches his parents death,
he saw the blood from the gun, and he saw their last breath;
The ten year old dreams of a family that she draws on rocks,
wearing hardly anything, with just one sock;
He walks miles just for water filled with ******* and dirt,
his back, his body, his mind, so hurt...
But you don't know the struggles people may face,
the struggles which come at such a fast pace;
and they do wish 'if you only understood',
but some things we will never understand, never have, never would;
an unfair life - of course it is,
some of us with utter burden, and some with utter bliss.

Fill the hollow crevice of my existence
With light, show me a warmer way
Stop numbness from taking over
I am slipping further0 into dismay.

Down the senseless pit of despair
My direction is out of control
Darkness paralyzes my mind
Strangling thoughts that crawl and roll

Constricting my body until I give up
I kick the air but cannot land a blow
The empty space will never stop resisting
The sound of my own scream has become my foe.

The endless void swallows my voice
Here the tears I cry fall forever
The lies I have told mean nothing now
I knew my will was always meant to sever.

Faced with nothingness all around
This is my life; a ******* hole
It's slowly shoving me outwards
Little by little, pain taking over my soul.

Chaos has reality gripped
In a tight but unsure grasp
Confusing the mass of color
And motion contained in its clasp

Bullied by the tidal wave of isolation
Head above water though it is strong
Giving up the ability to move
Surviving by the current floating me along.

My consciousness is traveling lethargically
I no longer feel my torso or limbs
Attempt to wiggle a finger but it won't budge
It takes all my strength to speak and part dry lips.

This is where existence ceases
Where time's beginning meets its end
An unending loop of monotonous emotions displayed
A breif instant in which Eternity life does suspend
This started as how I felt when I was crippled by heartache and doubt but switched lanes kinda. It's random I suppose. But it sounds pretty.

Slow on two wheels; inhaling wondrous mise en scène.
The wind kissing his arms rushed pecking mine too; limpid bliss.
It carried soft hum of his fine voice; known yet so unknown of the fact that I feel unbelievably calm around him, with him.
I had the best bike ride with him, so calming.

O' young one.
How long has it been,
since you last knew
the colour of the sky,
the smell of freshly-cut grass,
the sound of laughter,
the touch of another,
the feeling of warmth,
and being alive?

When was the last time
you said,
"I love you."
and meant it?
Felt happy,
and genuinely felt it?
How long...
Are you going to continue living this way?
How long until you decay?

There is another way,
just take it day by day...
Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget to stop and appreciate the little things in life. Sometimes, it's the small, simple things in life which bring us bliss.

(Sonnet)

Our time flicked with drops of summer,
The numberless nodes, mellow cicadas,
Pixelated a world swirling of music—
All dates, sweet tabulations of primes,

The savours swelling in fragrant breeze,
The still waters of pond mist and flame,
How your eyes, with mine, gazed into—
O sleepy windows of eyes being born,

Flowers made a bed and we drank it all,
The light of the sun as it passed in grace
And the birds sang songs of remembrance,
Water fell but once from mothering skies,

Wind whined, such days could never last,
One flesh of burgeoning— moon in the grass.

a puzzle without the pieces,
the outline is there but the pieces,
the pieces are what you must pick up as you make mistakes,
memories and leave marks on this world.

it is found in the fragments of the sky that you tore apart
and in the constellations that you chased all night
it makes you wonder who you are scream and as you shout
it’s in the words you speak, the tears you cry and the smiles you smile.

one word. eight letters. an eight letter word that means everything
yet it is as ambiguous as whether the rain is the tears of god
or whether it’s the blessing of the clouds
one word. eight letters.

a word that has as many meanings to define it
as the amount of people there are with dreams and aspirations
one word which we are all trying to find the definition of within ourselves
a word that we hope to define; a word that we hope will help us become someone.

so you search the mountain tops and you look in the branches of trees,
you look in the deepest depths of the oceans,
you search the galaxies. and you try to find something, anything.
you try to find your identity, your truth, yourself.

but you don’t have to go that far to find your identity because it’s already there
it lays beneath you, beneath your skin.
it lays beneath your jail-like ribs that hold it down,
and they will only let it go once you realise it’s always been there.

your identity; you will find in pieces and fragments of everything
you will ****** ideas and habits and feelings from everything and everyone
only to turn those into parts into your soul
maybe you will not realise until later but you will find them everywhere.

in nights filled with bowing to the trees that sway to the gentle breeze of the wind
while melodies play and enter your mind swiftly and freely
or maybe in the mornings filled with sunrays that enter your room from your window
and dance lazily on top of your pillows and desk.

you will find yourself and no one can take your identity away from you
not even the abhorrent words of the loathsome stares thrown your way
not even the seas can drown your identity in their ghastly waves
so don’t you try to let anyone take it away from you.

because bliss and happiness comes to you once you find it
so when you find it, grasp it tight in the palms of your hands
bury it deep beneath your heart and never, ever let go
because finally you have found what you’ve been looking for; your identity.
a poem i wrote aged 15 about finding your identity. still resonates with me to this day! :-)

Her voice fills my soul
with melodic harmony
Every tone, pitch, ebb and flow
A surreal tranquility

The soft, mesmerizing allure of her eyes,
Beaconing me to rest my heart there
A haven where no evils lies

The touch of her hand
Upon my head
Soothes any pain
I've ever felt
It all falls into place
In her stead
No more angst,
The uncertainty does melt

Without trying
Not an effort gained
She completes me
Without trying
This undying bliss
my heart is forever stained
When you meet your twin soul and surrender to the harmony between you both completely. You'll understand this poem. By the grace of God, I pray you all do...
