Lost
YY Sep 2020
I look at myself in the mirror,
A young artist, so lost - couldn’t see clearer.
Where to go and where to drip the paint?
I might as well lose consciousness and faint.

Confused, confined, cannot define the meaning of my life.
I don’t belong to any tribe,
Combining stories of my past,
I am so lost, alas.

The right, the wrong, its all collapsed,
The life will always just elapse.
Complex and very simple at the same time,
Oh look, another rhyme.

River
YY Sep 2020
We are rivers flowing down the Earth,
At day, at night - we carry on.
Engraving our path on stones and sand,
To greater oceans we descend.

Rain, storm and fury fill us up,
No time to ponder or give up.
Under the ice or burning heat,
We flow above or breathe beneath.

And rivers flow against the centuries and time,
And drowning sorrows, leaving all behind.
Some try to change our path and build another route,
But water only sharpens stone and goes about.

Tell me
YY Jul 2020
Tell me if Earth is flat or round,
She hears thin weeping willow's cry.
How planet was this built is too profound.

Tell me about the origins of life.
Where sky was dark, no sound,
Just glimpse of His first light.

Tell me about the waterfall of words
That tends to spill and drown
The valleys of my life.

Tell me about your sins and virtues.
The only truth I want to know
Is if they hurt you.

Tell me why quiet is your tongue,
And why the burden of this time
confusion and debation sprung.

Lost
YY Jul 2020
Some surrounded, some are hounded,
And some corners - simply rounded.
Some lessons are never learned,
Face feels slightly burned.

What’s the most ideal place to be?

And where in life should people flee?
Where’s home and what we strive for?

And what worth fighting for?

Too many questions and fewer answers.
No queens, no kings, no lancerns.
We see ourselves, we pity our actions,
Sometimes drown in our own affections.

Be strong they say. Be strong and patient.
I’m young but feel so ancient.
Who can I rely on and who is on prowl?
It’s a full moon. It’s time to howl.

A life - just one big foolish dream.
You can stay silent or you can scream.
Red substance will put you to sleep,
Are you a wolf or just a sheep?

The words sometimes are a little blurry,
Do I need to worry?

Where should I go and where is home?

Where is my bed and where do I belong?

Time
YY Jan 2020
In time, we timelessly live in,
One pause, one move, breathe out and in.
Time out will turn itself into continuation -
Does time exists? Or is it our own novation?

Through time we count with past our future.
A second’s, moment’s, minute’s suture
Turns time of day enlightened light
Into a darkness' time engulfing fight.

Time walks in clocks, circles around
And silently steal years of dawn.
Outside of universe, where truth all lies -
I timelessly revise.

Unconditional Love
YY Oct 2019
Why worry about something that is not in our control?
Why do we try to fit into some role?
With endless love, fulfilled with flowers,
You'll have way better inner powers.

Not with good looks, but with heart's beauty,
You can give back your given duty.
Not with false words and deprivation,
But with sharp focus and true dedication.

Don't look up or down, but far ahead,
The more you do - the more your love will spread.
Not the platonic wild obsession -
But calm and positive progression.

Don't try to own one's feelings, cause aggression,
Stop making someone your material possession.
Do good, not harm, don't ask to give you back,
Only give and you'll receive twice back.

Divorce
YY Apr 2019
And you were staring at the joker instead of the queen,
With dashing good looks and a wit yet unseen,
The card was way simpler, alas -
Just listen me carefully, ****.

With brain yet so big but so drained,
You won’t able get my ordain.
With ears but yet deaf and so loud,
You will fall like rain from a cloud.

The higher you are - the more painful the fall,
Don’t climb without rope, you will pay risky tall.
What you cannot chew and try to just swallow -
Means that your spine is simply straight hollow.

With narrow, but self-absorbed mind,
I offer to you my resign.
Acceptance of your helpless ego,
Will only cause people vertigo.

Think Twice
YY Mar 2019
People throw words left and right,
As if they are things you can pick back up and hide.
Empty promises - drifting in their dust,
Look around - we drown in lust.

What's right or wrong? What's true, where's a lie?
From caterpillar you'll turn into a butterfly.
All your problems ain't real,
Tell me what you truly feel.

Bright colors of your clothes - have no appeal.
High shoes, high mind - spinning your brain's clock-wheel.
Springs and bells, balances and dial pans
Will go out of order, out of fans.

Your words will fly away, like flock of birds,
They won't return in spring, won't come back in colossal herds.
Think twice what you let go and say,
You may not have another brighter day.

Start living
YY Mar 2019
Stop living up to false enchanted dreams,
Look down from the high beams,
Are you a hunter, or are you a prey?
Don’t let your day to pass away.

Don’t reach for the Moon when you are going to Mars
Its not just some code that is easy parse.
Aim higher then your head,
Wine spilled - it’s cherry-red.

Don't let someone to whisper in your ear,
What's best to do, and when to disappear.
Just follow your instincts,
Your life will be unlinked.

Hurricane
YY Jan 2019
You are a hurricane, swirling around your lives,
You're trying to be peaceful when someone is throwing at you knives.
From house to house you travel in swift dance,
In Sufi gathering you found another chance.

So wild, but yet so pure and quiet,
Yourself - you can revolve a riot.
With tropical cyclones you rapidly move in,
Behind you not always leave a ruin.

Rebirth, reset and reconstruction,
Comes after your soft kind destruction.
You can rule over any man,
On future's life - you have no plan.

No matter if you blow or just breeze in,
You know for sure who you are from within.
Just be your own distinctive self,
And put your harsh past on the shelf.

A Tale
YY Dec 2018
They don't know you like I know,
Precariously balanced life taking its toll.
Don't be a Theseus, I'm not an Ariadne,
No threads to pull in our mazes, madly.

Its not a puzzle, we made our sacrifices,
No battles here to fight, no throwing dices.
You can never pretend to love or hate,
Nor can you hide your anger or elate.

There is no riddle, no evil lion-sphinx,
You're not an Oedipus, who's journey above links.
The problems you are running from - just face it.
I hate to know that I need you - embrace it.

Too Far
YY Dec 2018
In country far away from thee,
There was a man who's mind explored carefree.
He used to sit alone in seashore's darkness,
And think about constraints and harshness.

On other side of land - she lived in deepest woods.
No trail, no true man's foot there ever stood.
She weaved her thoughts into a Persian rug,
And bathed at night in deepest waters with Naiad.

No match for them, no equal pair.
They were too busy running their warfare.
A jarring battle in a state of peace,
A conscious choice, not a decease.

With birds she flew above the sea one day,
With seagulls, cormorants and osprey.
He saw a glimpse of someone's hair,
But yet, he deepen in despair.

She saw a man, who looked demean.
And to fly closer was she keen.
On rock, behind the tree -
Her wings were rested with a key.

Man saw her once, the statue's silhouette,
And traits of trust he suddenly beget.
No words, no sounds was spilled in silence,
Their foreheads slightly touched - compliance.

Her Powers
YY Dec 2018
Nature with its numberless powers
Can twist or turn, bend or devour.
And those who won't resist the wind,
Will grow the bearing trees within.

"Dripping water hollows out the stone" -
Ovid says with his baritone, -
"Not through force, but through persistence"
Know nothing we about existence.

So small in wast titanic world,
Great powers, people think behold.
Imprudent brains, stop tossing into nature
Your greedy power's ruinations.

For Nature won't be still and silent,
Will sweep your nation's floor with violence.
Just stop pretending you live here alone
And Nature might just leave us on our own.

Resolution
YY Dec 2018
A cup of tea and old white slippers,
Few brushes and few orange bitters.
Turquoise curtains, striped blue bed,
Fresh clothes drying on the rack.

No wind comes in, its warm and cozy,
And bath is full of water, foamy.
Old paintings on the wall and new fresh paint.
And movie playing - no constraint.

A peaceful mind, a steady growing grass,
No fights, no broken crystal glass.
Just me and someone greatly dear
Stepping into a fresh new year.
