This is my safe place
And its my jail cell.
I cant stand to be in here
Now that I’m not well.
The walls confine me
And torture my soul.
The window it bribes me
To jump through its hole.

My room is my safe place
It hides all my deeds.
It allows me to let loose
And be a little more me.
But now it’s my jail cell
Binding me in.
I can’t stand to be in here
Where I fear there’s simply no end.

You're not in my class
neither are you
it's the right time
but something's off

Wrong room
wrong room

We swapped

I forgot
just roll with it
act like you belong
no one will notice

Everyone's noticed
leave before it's too late

Where am I supposed to be

Lately,
I've had you on my mind
Like an old song
You've rediscovered the beauty in,
And you've been occupying
The rooms in my head
For once without a chance
Of vacancy.

It's stifling
Unseen
Unheard
Unnoticed
By anyone
By anything
Invisible
in a room
full of my
supposed
...
friends

White walls
In a hotel room
Sharing everything
Blind faith
Collapsing in passion
Attempting to escape
Lies
Life
Finding our place
Between the shadows
Of inescapable disaster
Forbidden thoughts
Invade my present tense
As the weather changes
And the summer
Gives way to fall
I fall
Slipping back
Into a mindset
Where I feel you
Throughout my being
My better mind, fleeing

Mom
Lips pursed
Blatant irritation
Eyes flickering, like little fireflies
Shining a spot light
On every little piece of dust
Remotely out of place
In my room

Please just knock
I don’t want to use it
but you prove that I should
when you choose a rude entrance
instead of a gentle question

knock
knock

‘Hello?’

Would do perfectly

Work with me here
how hard is it to knock and wait for an answer before coming into someone's bedroom?
Apparently impossible

I saw her in my room
She was beautiful thief
And good at stealing

Her sparking eyes
Made my heart
Fly to the skies

Im closing my eyes
Feel her warm hands
Around my chest

I feel her warm breath
Around my neck
She started to blush

Her heart started to rush
And i said hush
Enjoy how I steal your heart.

Kalanchoë, finally you bloom!
Welcome little foreigner,
To the corner of my room.
With frangipani flame
And crocus-gold effulgent.
Strains past succulent skin
Joyous, ebullient!
Though your petals grow
Just to hold it in,
Fiery blood escapes
Past watery blocks of ester-swell
And you exult with me
In a wintry cell.
Dedicated to the first bloom of a pretty plant that feared might never bloom, which finally treated me to one blossom in winter.

As the Spring's winds make azure curtains billow,
the rose wilts.
