A painted mirror
With the image of love
Only intended to show her exterior
No matter the size of the shove

They pick spitefully
Tossing flecks of dried work
But she responds oh so delightfully
Forgetting her crafted worth

Born to show others an image they'd like to perceive
Dead to have not even the maker grieve

Seeing is believing, for which we can perceive
Believing is seeing, for which we can't perceive
There are infinite things that are, let alone aren't
That we cannot even dream of, let alone chart
Living in shadows of a universe unknown
From stardust we are born, where from death do we go?
When we started we could see
People laughed and we didn't care
Now we getting up there
We will holler that we over here
With our God our fear
We won't be afraid
For our time is not near
But our time is now and here
For us to be revered
By those who once jeered
At us when others cheered
For they could see
That we didn't care
About what people said!
When you have ideas only, it takes faith to hold on to what you believe in even when friends and family discourage you.

The way people perceive you isn't gospel
You're one of those flowers freckled alongside the highway
Always mistaken as a ****

"The Look of Innocence"

I saw the look of innocence
Which i used to call stupidity
In the eyes of fresh young bodies
Moving freely about the planet
To see if they can find themselves
Or some thing worth it to be
Or merely exciting the senses
I don't know which but i guess
And think i know a big mistake
That fades a bit from time to time
To let me perceive now and then
New realities and or concepts
Like the look of innocence

Even if I want to speak truth,
I don't think I can
I don't know if I know the truth
do you? really?

Maybe truth reside somewhere far
I know what I thought about,
what I perceived truth
can be true, may be not?

I'm never entirely sure,
what I have as truth is true
or what is the colour of raw truth.
......?
maybe that I'm clueless is the truth?

and ye will perceive
that you have been pursued

Pursued
and perhaps persuaded
Then prevailed upon
through and through

Prevailed within a purpose
a purpose of the truth
The truth of a proclamation

Proclaiming the promise
of pure and perfect Love
for You.

Such is the beauty of rainfall,
How it descends with a sound so dulcet,
How it transcends a feeling so euphoric
And such dazzle it exhibits
Like one, no one would dare to neglect.
But it makes me upset
How chaps romanticize rain,
They are fooled so much by the affection of their beloved
For they do not realize
The way it washes away the pain.

Little raindrops fall on my body
Fusing with my skin;
Oh, how they tell me to live
When they speak to me and tell me to
Nourish, and give life to my surroundings.

One may wonder that how
The rain makes me feel such way.
They fail to realize that the downpour
For me, is just a reflection of the ideal life
I perceive.

I can see both sides, perceiving reality
Anything less than the best and they call it insanity
Sanity draining faster than the eye can blink
0.33 seconds, doesn’t take that long to think
About this divided world we live in, divided by hate,
A hatred intertwined with a crazy conception called Fate
Racial discrimination dominating this life that we’re hating
With death we dance and life’s a chance that we’ve been dating
And when life dumps you, you waltz with Death himself
You leave others behind and it’s just you and yourself
You’ve always been alone even when you’re with your friends
And every day you go home, waiting for the end
You open the box, and load the Glock
**** the plastic pistol to your head and you rock
Back and forth, nervous anticipation
Life before your eyes and death in your mind
So the next time you figure out an epiphany like this
Turn it into a rhyme that one day you’ll reminisce
And tell it to everyone, tell the whole world
About life and death, chance and fate and the way the twist and twirl.

i don't know if what i'm feeling is real,
but what i know is that i want
to stay by your side.

i don't know if what i think about you
is real, but i know that what you are
as beautiful as the stars in the sky.

i don't know if what i see in you
is the real deal, but I know that
your eyes shine the brightest
when you pluck the strings
of your old guitar.

i don't know if you are real,
but i know that when you hold
her hand, you are more real
than i ever saw you.

and that crushes me the most.
