When the sun says goodbye
I crave the stars upon
There’s nothing to deny
On earth’s nowhere to settle on.

It hurts, having nowhere to go, blaming everything on a God that doesn't show. It hurts, every scar on my skin burning all over again. It hurts, laying alone at night feeling to weak to fight.
It hurts
I'm tired
I've tried
I'm trying

      im done.............................

Your driving with both hands on the wheel
yet you find yourself spinning
out of control .
tell you stop.
stuck in a ditch.
in the middle of nowhere
you wonder how you even got there
you never remember taking these roads
or thinking you would ever wake up
lost and alone.
but yet you're here
searching for a way out
but when the way out is more painful then staying
why get out?
why not just stay.
survive.
but we're human.
always searching for life
something that makes us feel alive.
safe and happy.
two weeks later you wonder
if you made the right choice.
I did.

My bag heavy
With sanity
Slowed my steps
Before I dropped it
In the middle of nowhere
And started to run
Toward insanity,
Toward you.

If I could hide well enough,
Blend in with the blurred sea of unknown faces,
I would leave this place,
So full of memories,
Saturated with reminders,
I would find a way out,
To find a nowhere of my own,
And hide alone,
In a place without past,
I would build a heart to withstand the ages.

But my motionless body stands out,
As all around rush and hurry,
I live in solitude,
Feet planted firm, eyes down,
Streams of haste surround me,
But their flow does not stir my stationary presence,
So in a scene of panic, I am calm,
I am noticed,
I am forced to remain by my own fear to stay,
And my perfect nowhere,
Doesn't seem to be anywhere,
And my history is everywhere,
Wherever I search,
All I find is wall after wall,
As I try to escape my mind.

My frantic dance of repeating obstruction,
Is never seen by those around,
Because, of course, they don't really look,
They see a boy staring at his feet,
But if one person would stop and join me,
They'd realise,
I'm not staring at my feet,
I'm staring into my own eyes,
In the rain-soaked pavement,
And if they looked into them too,
They would see that I am moving,
Not standing still,
They'd see how long I tried,
And how long I failed,
And how many times I tripped up,
But still I haven't quite found,
A nowhere of my own.

Somewhere different,
Somewhere new.
Lead the way;
I'll follow you.

Down the road
to the stream.
We'll jump the brooke
to chase our dreams.
We're as far as
we have been;
This is where
it all begins.
It is late,
the sun has gone.
But the moon will
guide us on.
Into the woods
we wander still.
We are scared
but we are thrilled.
Our path is rough,
ill-defined.
We're headed nowhere--
we don't mind.

Someday we will
settle,yes.
Lay our ambitions
down to rest.
Find comfort
in security,
in a home
and family.
And though I look forward
to this fate,
I'm in no rush
to reach that state.

There's still so much
I want to see.
I'll take the lead;
You follow me.
just going sideways
won't get you to the top
you'll meet others going sideways
and at some point you'll just stop

really, going sideways
means at the bottom you must be
i can move you on from sideways
if you'll just listen to me

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight
it's time to make a change
rearrange your life and make a change

do something different
that you have never done
go on out...just somewhere
and try and have some fun

increase your interactions
maybe even try to smile
instead of always driving
maybe go and walk a mile

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight

you'll find others going sideways
so, grab them for the ride
it's better moving upwards
instead of side to side

your life is an adventure
and you'll find out you will grow
if you switch the sideways shift
and upwards choose to go

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight

I'd like to wake up tomorrow
and find everything
has changed
to know the road
I'm travelling
is the right one
not yet another turning
down a dark lonely lane
leading somewhere
or nowhere

I'd like to wake up
know that regrets
weeping and pathetic fear
will never haunt me again
I want them all erased
so I can walk out the door
a shiny new me

There was a time
when I knew
that prayers
and miracles
were not illusions
when I lived and breathed
a life we should all have

I owned it all
it lived in me
until something evil came
and stole it all away
vultures
monsters
of the darkest place
picked it clean off my bones
and left me
forever tending wounds

I want to wake up tomorrow
and find
I'm no longer tired
of being tired
put my feet firmly on the ground
and find it takes me
on a whole new path
where vultures and monsters
have no right to be
and every road
takes me home

I stopped to find
One last thing
Looked and looked
Was such a thing

I was going nowhere
Could not  see
Head bent down
No pity for me

I breathed the air
***** and clean
One last breathe
been so mean

I wanted love
only found fear
Crying out loud
alone no tear

I saw my life
flash in pan
Awful white pictures
pitch black I can

I drowned in sorrow
in dreams in bed
Thoughts of the days
Over instead

I stopped to find
One last thing
Looked and looked
Fear did it bring
We over look life sometimes only to.fear what we already know

my feelings overflow
with nowhere to go
waves smashing against the breakwater
spraying sea foam
a cacophony no one can hear but me
because it's roaring
inside my head
