When I feel low, cold as ice
I think of you, and I'm hot as hell.
And when I get frustrated,
When nothing makes sense,
I talk to you, and my mind
Is as clear as a bell.
Thank you for making me
See things in a different light.
Thank you for making me feel
Like someday, everything really
Will be alright.

I want to tell you that it's going to be alright.
I want to tell you whatever I have to to get you through the night.
I want to tell you how proud I am that you asked for help as i hold you tight.
No matter how much you scream and cry and shake, I won't give up the fight.
I want to tell you that it's not your fault.
And as we sit by the fire, watching it fill the room with warmth and light, I want to tell you that it's going to be alright

I close my eyes and pray.
Always in the night.
I pray, even though I know,
it’ll never be alright.

I continue to pray,
I clasp my hands and hope.
I pray as if I’ll get an answer
as if there’ll be an upturn to this *****

I pray, and I pray
but even when I pray,
even when I wish,
it never feels okay.
pray pray pray but doesn't do anything about it.

Cleansing before creation
A cycled called out in song
How am I, well, all is well
Except for all the wrong

I want to sleep
and never wake up
until everything
is alright.

I laugh once
And everyone thinks I'm happy
I have a good day
And everyone thinks I'm okay
I don't cry for one night
And everyone thinks I'm alright

There is a big difference
Between being happy
And being discracted form your sadness

when i am
lost in thoughts
and
look up
to the moon

it almost feels
as if they say

"everything
is going to be
alright."
